Koruak nodded, cocked the shotgun, and said; "Lock and Load."

The motorcycle crashed through the door of Tarith's old apartment and the pair of dragons, completely armed for their battle as they could be, drove off to save Tarith.

Helena woke up the next day with Tarith still on top of her. She nearly cried when she saw Tarith's submissive pose. Thankfully; BlackKnight was gone. But everywhere Helena felt was pain. And she was still trapped to Tarith's body. Bastard BlackKnight hadn't bothered to untie either of the dragonesses.

Suddenly there were paws on their hands and legs and the Lightning disappeared. Tarith was hefted off of Helena to reveal Sapphire! There was a new spark in her eyes that burned with independence.

" No matter what happens, always know that your spirit is free, and your heart is the most powerful thing in the world. Tarith, you freed me from the shackles of that monster. Now I return the favor."

She helped Helena up as Tarith shifted a bit, groaning.

Helena was shocked to see Sapphire do that.

"Wh-who are you?" Helena asked.

Sapphire looked at Helena and said; "I am Phoenix. I am the Fire that lives within the body of Sapphire. I am her Soul. Her Elegance. Her Dignity. I am her Strength. Sapphire was born with me inside of her. We are separate; yet one. She can rapidly heal; I can negate negative energy. Help will be arriving soon. Prepare yourself."

Helena nodded and fell down to the floor on her knees in surprise.

Tarith groaned more and finally life was seen in that submissive look She looked around before looking at Sapphire, "Thank you. You saved me from following that monster. But, where is the crystal? Our spirits may be strong but we need our minds and bodies back."

Even as she said that her mind was analyzing all possible places a crystal could be hidden. There were several places around the room that could hide a crystal like that.

Helena looked at the other PeaceKeepers and said; "Girls! Assemble now!"

They all assembled, just like they did yesterday.

"Look for any sort of crystal! NOW! Destroy it!"

They all started looking around the room in a quiet order.

Even Helena was impressed.

They obviously wanted to leave, but were showing PeaceKeeper like calmness.

Helena looked at Tarith and Sapphire/Phoenix and said; "Well; I think I know where the crystal is. But I don't think you'll like it. It's probably on BlackKnight's collar."

Tarith shook her head, "No. He is going to battle today. He will not risk the crystal getting smashed. Besides, he knows we cannot destroy it. It drains our wills. We need a male to destroy it."

Tarith finished looking around and went to the walls, feeling along them and looking for anything out of the ordinary. All of the places she saw could be accessed and the crystal could be accidentally destroyed. So she figured it would be in a hidden compartment.

Meanwhile, Koruak and Lil Bane had shut off the motorcycle after getting near UCG owned areas. The motor was silent as it was, but those two weren't taking any chances.

They had managed to sneak their way through the security with killing only two guards. Lil Bane killed one of them with the crossbow, while Koruak stuck his knife up the other's head; killing him.

Lil Bane had quietly congratulated Koruak on his first kill.

Koruak gave Lil Bane a thumbs up and then they both proceeded inward. It was a bitch to get through the rest of security without alerting the others; but they finally did it and were at a treehouse warehouse.

Koruak whispered to Lil Bane; "So; what's the plan?"

Lil Bane pointed to the tower and said; "Imma snipe those two bitches in the guard's tower. You take point and climb the tree and get into that house and rescue Tarith. Either kill or knock out everybody else. Even the PeaceKeepers. I don't want them on our asses when we escape."

Koruak nodded; getting a tranquilizer gun ready. Lil Bane had made it for him. That way it wouldn't really kill anybody; but it would knock them out with little to no memory of what had happened.

Lil Bane aimed the crossbow at the guards, waited them to line up just right, and fired the crossbow into both of the guard's heads simultaneously.

Lil Bane whistled to Koruak, who had been crawling to the treehouse warehouse (THWH) and clicked his tounge twice, a sign that Koruak could proceed.

Koruak climbed up the ladder and then got ready to breach the door. He turned the gun over and used the butt of the gun to break the lock, he then stepped back, kicked the door open, and aimed his gun at the people inside.

Tarith had kept searching, seeing a small crevice that was out of place, getting her claws in the pulled with all her might. The hidden panel tore free with a metallic screech just as the door burst open. Tarith turned to see Koruak standing there and her eyes lit up.

"Koruak!" she shouted and ran to him.

Koruak aimed the gun at Tarith and almost pulled the trigger; but recognition flared through his eyes and he stopped himself just in time.

"Tarith!"

he uncocked the rifle and strapped it to his back as he ran over to his half sister. The one that had been kidnapped. And from the stench of it; raped.

He suppressed a growl of rage. He'd take that out on BlackKnight when he had the chance, but for now; he was overjoyed to see his half sister, his mate, and love, safe and sound.

He hugged his half sister tightly; almost crying with emotion.

"Tarith; oh God I missed you!"

a voice shouted from behind Koruak and Tarith; "Koruak! We need to fuckin go!"

Koruak turned around to see Lil Bane standing in the doorway; several wounds on him.

"We need to run to the fuckin bike!"

Tarith shook her head, "I can't leave. Koruak, the crystal."

She pointed to the crystal and said, "He drained my will Ko-Ko. You have to smash it before I can be free from him forever."

She didn't see Lil Bane there though. Because of the crystal's power over her; Tarith was tunnel visioned on her escape.

Koruak nodded, gathering his strength. He found the crystal in the compartment that Tarith had torn down, and took out the crystal; throwing it on the floor.

He pulled out an ax, roared in anger, and then brought the ax down on the crystal; shattering it into hundreds of pieces.

Though when he did it, it felt to Koruak as everything was slowed down to at least seventy times as slow. So instead of it taking seconds to destroy the crystal; it felt like years.

And he wondered why. That is, until he felt a powerful jab in the back by a black tail.

He was sent flying across the floor and into the wall.

"Hello, bitches!"

The horrific voice of BlackKnight sounded from behind Koruak.

The reason it felt like years trying to shatter the crystal; was because of BlackKnight's time ability. He could manipulate time. But he couldn't turn back time. He could bend time to a crawl though.

Tarith saw BlackKnight suddenly appear but also felt her inner strength return to her. She snarled and leapt at BlackKnight, digging her claws into his neck as she bit and stabbed him repeatedly. Nobody hurt her mate like that! Nobody!

BlackKnight howled with pain and anger; trying to shake Tarith off of him, but he couldn't do it. At least not with his paws or tail. The ground, was another thing.

He threw himself on the ground and rolled; getting Tarith off of him. But he avoided crushing her somehow.

Tarith was alive; although one of her shoulders was out of place.

By this time, Koruak had gotten back up and pulled out his shotgun that had been strapped to his back. It was set to Dragon's Breath rounds.

He cocked the rifle and set it to semi-automatic. He aimed the rifle at BlackKnight's chest and fired a round; sending BlackKnight, who roared with pain, onto the ground. He was panting hard.

Koruak, gun aimed directly at BlackKnight; went over and tore off his mask and voice changer.

And he was thoroughly shocked by what he saw.

His voice could barely form the word. "I- Iseras?!"

Iseras panted and growled at Koruak, "Yes. I was never the good guy. While you were busy fighting to free your precious sister, I was leading the UCG. Too bad you will never get out of here alive."

Using his tail he tripped Koruak, then grabbed Tarith and held a claw to her neck.

"Try that again and your sister is as good as dead."

Koruak growled, but uncocked the rifle and set it on the ground.

"Fine, you win, bitch."

He then said; "The blood runs red in the viens."

BlackKnight looked at him like 'what the fuck?' and then two silenced gunblasts could be heard and Iseras fell down to the floor; blood welling from a serious wound in his throat.

"And so it does."

Lil Bane was standing behind Iseras the whole time; waiting Koruak's signal.

Koruak went to his sister and got her up from the ground, checking her over.

"Are you okay sis?"

Tarith nodded and hugged Koruak, "I'm fine. I'll be fine. Thank you Ko-Ko."

She hugged hem, then saw Lil Bane and gasped.

"Lil Bane?! But, I saw you get shot! How are you alive?!"

Lil Bane smiled and replied as he reloaded the gun by flipping the clip upside down.

"I am immortal. I can die for a while; but I always come back. I helped your brother do a few things. And well; here I am babey!"

he walked over to Tarith, his muscles flowing smoothly, and he said; "I need to relocate your shoulder really quick. Then I need to get you and your brother out of here."

Helena had plucked up the courage to come out from her hiding spot. Now that BlackKnight was out of commission, and she said; "Uh, Tarith: I was wondering if I'd be able to come with you now. And since all the other PeaceKeepers ran out the door while this was happening; I was wondering if I could take you up on your offer?"

Tarith grunted as she felt her shoulder pop back into place and nodded, "Sure Helena. Lets get out of here everyone. I want to get out of this town and find somewhere safer to live."

Lil Bane looked at Tarith after putting her shoulder into place and said; "I know a damn good place. I bought it from a Native family on a Reserve. It's a reserved spot for outcasts wishing to seek peace from the UCG's. in the old Government, before it became the UCG, it was a Peace Corp. I was one of its leaders. And I bought and protected that piece of land. It was about a thousand years ago. I was a lot different then too. Much more refined. Now I be just a horny ass who knows his shit. Pardon my fouls. Now people: Helena, Koruak, Tarith and I can go. I can find safe places for the rest."

Koruak and Helena nodded. Helena said; "Yeah. I really wanna go with you all."

Sapphire was back to her normal stage and said; "I want to stay here. I can be an inside eye for you guys. I hate the fucking government."

Tarith nodded and said, "Good luck Sapphire. And good luck with your children too."

She turned to Lil Bane and nodded, "Then lets go. All of us. Lets go somewhere safe where we can raise our children."

Lil Bane, Koruak, and Helena nodded.

Lil Bane said to Tarith: "There's a Motorcycle outside. We can escape through there. I knocked most of the guards, killed a few others. Koruak even made his first kill. Anyway; it should get all four of us out of here. And its armed to the teeth."

Sapphire looked at all of them and said; "I want to thank you all for your help. But now I must go and find a place to raise my kids."

Koruak looked at Sapphire and said; "I know a place. Tarith and I were working on it together. It was our old apartment. You should be happy in there. It'll need some work every few months, and there's still some supplies in there. About a few month's worth. I left a couple weapons there for you. A couple knifes I think. Lil Bane told me that there'd probly be someone that would need that house. There's a trap door that's labeled with a hidden marker. You just gotta know where to look. The house is off to the east I think/"

Sapphire nodded and said; "I'll know how to find it. Thanks."

And then she went out the door and jumped down; starting to fly off in the direction that Koruak told her.

Tarith walked out and glided down to the ground and waited for the others. She was eager to get going. She wanted out of this retched place, and wanted out badly.

Koruak jumped out the door, did a flip in the air and landed thirty feet down and rolled, coming to his feet.

When Tarith gave him a look of shock, he shrugged and said; "A trick Lil Bane taught me. And I am a fast learner when it comes to fighting moves."

Tarith rolled her eyes, punched him in the shoulder and said; "Sometimes, you're stupid. But that's probably one of the reasons I love you."

Koruak growled playfully and said; "'One of the reasons'? what are the other one thousand?"

Tarith eyed him playfully and gave him a quick shove to the chest whilst using her tail to sweep his feet; knocking him to the ground with a thud and a huff.

"That's number two."

Then she jumped on top of him and smooched him on the neck; and he snorted and made weird sounds when she did that. And Koruak groped her naked chest.

Tarith gave out a slight moan and looked down at him playfully; "That's number three. You'd better catch up. I'm way ahead of ya bro."

She winked at him and got up; helping Koruak up as well.

Lil Bane dropped down in a similar manner; but instead of a fancy flip and roll; he just landed on his feet in a crouch, coming back up with something in his hand.

"Tarith; I think you forgot your clothes, babe. Here."

He handed them to Tarith, who murmured her thanks and got dressed. She felt around for something and then said; "Well; now where's my glasses?"

A tap on her shoulder came from behind her and Koruak offered her glasses.

Tarith made a grab for them, but Koruak pulled them away; shaking his head with a mischievous grin.

Tarith growled playfully and said; "Koruak; give me back my glasses."

Koruak took a step back and said; "Magic word please?"

Tarith started chasing after him and said; "I'll give you the magic word! My foot up your tail-hole!"

Koruak squealed and started running. But he 'tripped' on a rock and fell to the floor, and Tarith fell with him. The two laid there; giggling.

Koruak offered Tarith her glasses and said; "Though you look sexier without them."

Tarith smiled and said; "But then I wouldn't be able to see how sexy you are."

Koruak rolled his eyes and said; "Which would be a shame; since I am pretty sexy."

Tarith used her tail to smack Koruak's groin playfully; "Prove it to me when we get to our new home."

Koruak yelped and gave out a slight moan of pain when Tarith did that to him, but then he said just as playfully; "Love to. Now; mind getting off me so we can prove to eachother later?"

Tarith grinned and said; "Sure. Let's get up now."

Helena was now with them; she had taken the ladder down, and accidentally fell, but Lil Bane caught her.

"Thanks." Helena said; feeling really embarrassed.

"No problem." Lil Bane replied.

And the four anthro dragons walked to the motorcycle. It was a tight fit; but they managed to do so.

And once Koruak, Tarith, Lil Bane, and Helena were out of town; Koruak pulled over onto the road in a desert where the moon looked beautiful and reflected Tarith's beauty. He told her to get off the cycle and told Lil Bane and Helena to stay put. Tarith, confused at first, saw the light in Koruak's eyes and then nodded, slowly dismounting the motorcycle. They had been driving for what seemed forever, and her body was vibrating residually from the effects of the jittering of the engine on the road that lay before them.

They walked a fair distance until they found an old, abandoned gazebo. Koruak motioned for Tarith to come to him and she did, wondering what Koruak had in store for her. She was tired, sore, hungry, and curious. Koruak and Tarith leaned on the Gazebo and looked out in the barren wasteland that still held its beauty, especially on this night. They held hands together on the rotting out wooden rail of one of the former beautiful gazebo and just started talking.

They talked and laughed and shared some stories, some about parents, some about their current trials, some about the past, present, and some about the future.

That was when Koruak sighed and said; "Tarith."

He paused there for what seemed like forever, he was gathering his wits and courage to say what he needed to say to Tarith.

Tarith turned to him, her eyes looking deep into his in the bright full glory of the moon. She loved him, and she could feel, through the bond, he had the very same feelings for her.

Through their bond, Tarith could feel his love, happiness, and strangely, his anxiety. What is he nervous about?

Tarith wondered...

"Tarith; I-I've been th-thinking..."

Tarith giggled slightly, he was so cute when he was trying to be romantic- he ended up stuttering.

Boys. They trip over themselves to please the girls. And Koruak is no different...

"I-I've been thinking.... Do you ever... ever, you know, want to take our relationship..."

he was scrambling for the right words.

Tarith looked at him and their faces got closer. Tarith finished for him; "Higher?"

Koruak nodded slightly, saying; "Uh-huh. Do you want to be engaged? To me?"

He was nervous, and wondering what would happen if he proposed to her.

She was his half-sibling, and lover. But he wanted them to be much much more than that. He wanted a child, a marriage, and more love between them and their bond to grow.

Tarith nodded; "Yes. Koruak, yes. I do."

Then they kissed passionately, mouths open, tongues searching for their partners, eyes closed, wandering, loving, caressing arms to each other's bodies. The heat intensifying until they broke away, panting slightly.

"Yes, Koruak. I do want our relationship to heighten. I love you, bro."

Koruak smiled and pecked her on the cheek with a warm, welcoming kiss and then he pulled out the surprise box that was given to Tarith a long time ago by a merchant.

He prayed it was what he wanted it to be. He turned around to Tarith and said to her; "Tarith: my half sister and lover. I ask you," he said as he got down on his knees.

He started opening the box and two diamond rings were in a perfect arrangement.

He heard Tarith gasp at the beautiful sight and smiled at her as he looked deep into her eyes with love.

"Will you marry me?"
