In Your Dreams
Poem
In the early hours
When you lay your head
To sleep
Close your eyes
And think of me
In the predawn light
When you have lost yourself
To your dreams
I will seek you out
And covet your fantasies
In the time before you're waking
When all is quiet
In your mind
I will crawl into your bed
And hold you while you sleep
In the daylight
When you wake
To find the taste of cigarettes
Upon your lips
And I have disappeared, you'll know the taste of my kiss
In the hours in between
When you are missing me
Remember that when you sleep once more
I will creep back in
And embrace you in your dreams again
