Terri's heart skipped a beat, her breath caught in the back of her throat, and she melted on the spot. She was Jess' hybrid, but Jess was somebody else's, Jess had a boyfriend who didn't yet know what Jess and Terri had been doing before he rang and before Jess admitted that she liked Terri. A lot. What will happen now? Will Jess leave her boyfriend for Terri? Will they become best friends or will it aspire to something different altogether with the two becoming closer and closer with every text and every day passing? Who knows......

On the bus back home the journey was going to take longer than usual since she got the last bus and there would be a lot of traffic from everyone getting home from work and all trying to get there ASAP. So Terri had a lot of time to think to herself about what happened today at college with Jess.

'she'd admitted she liked me a lot... yes but she has a boyfriend..... so were not doing anything wrong...... your going to hurt her.... No I won't...... yes you will..... no I won't as were not doing anything wrong we friends.... When do straight friends go to kiss other friends while pinning them to the floor? THEY DON'T........ She's confused.....' ARGH!! Terri's head was having its own little argument about what had happened.

She couldn't quite piece together what had happened. She been rolling around the grass on a secret field with Jess, happily pinning each other down and then they went to kiss.... And Jess revealed she had a boyfriend. And it all changed, but did it? Did it really change? This is what Terri was struggling to comprehend.

They in truth hadn't done anything out of the ordinary, sure they were about to kiss but the fact is that they didn't so that didn't count... did it? The bus arrived at Terri's stop and she thanked the driver as is her custom and started to walk home.

When she literally put one foot threw the threshold of her house her mum appeared and gave her a good old ear bashing. "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! COLLEGE FINISHED 3 HOURS AGO! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE PLAYING AT? You're going to have to make your own tea now. The dog had yours since you weren't here to eat it. Just get out of my sight." Her mum turned on her heels and stalked off.

Terri sighed, she loved her mum don't get her wrong, but she went mental when Terri was a little late. But then again her mum had been going off on one at her for a while now since her brother was born. And it was when he played up that Terri got the claws, literally. Terri's mum was a panther, really nice one minute and then the minute something goes wrong the claws and teeth come out. This usually pointed in Terri's direction. Anyway back to the story.

After getting the ear bashing from her mum, Terri skipped eating tea, again. She'd stopped eating food as much due to the stress, mainly due to her mother. So Terri went off up to her room, her sanctuary. She climbed the stairs and leaped into her bedroom and shut the door and put the chair under the door handle (well how else do you keep little brothers out of your room, when you don't want them there?).

She dropped her stuff on the floor, along with the other stuff she had piled everywhere and promptly flopped on her bed with a loud thump. She groaned and rolled over, turning on her laptop, and signing into her messaging site. The usual people were online Dave, Fletch, Loz, Millz and Craig. She clicked on all of them and sent them an individual Hello how are you etc. Whilst waiting for a reply she added Jess to her contacts so she could speak via internet and phone.

'PING' 'Jess is now online' Terri's heart stopped. Jess was online. Time to see how she is, and if she sorted things out with her boyfriend, not that she really had any business finding out but she still cared for her.

Terri:- Hey, how you doing? Did you sort things out in the end then? Jess:- Hey I'm fine, erm.. Can't really talk have company round at the minute. Text me ok? Might be worth your while if you do. *insert winking emoticon here* Terri:- Oh ok then. Take care.x Jess is now offline. Well that was brief, she came online said she had company round but to text her instead... wait would that mean her boyfriend was reading what we was saying to one another? Only one way to find out really wasn't there?

'Hey, you ok, you sound a little distant Tez x'

A reply soon came back as she finished typing and went to put the phone away.

'BUZZ'

'hey I'm fine, sorry about the shortness online, my internet isn't so good round here. Hey, are you going to that trip to the farm park tomorrow with college? Was thinking maybe you could be my partner? Since my friends seem to have forgotten me..... Let me know. J x'

Sweet Jess wanted to be her partner on the trip, well that could be a great time to find out how she really feels about her boyfriend and me thought Terri. So she quickly replied 'Yeah I'm going, Brill yeah I'll be your partner ;) Don't worry I'll take care of you, I'll take care of you real good, if you know what I mean ;)'

A Few moments passed since she sent her last text so Terri packed her bag ready for tomorrow and then got into bed. She'd just gotten snug and was about to drift off to sleep when a text came through on her phone, she groaned and groped around for the phone. THUMP. Her phone had fallen on the floor again she groaned and groped the floor for her phone. She found it and then saw a text from Jess, she sat up straight away, and read the text.

'Hey sorry if I wake you, been arguing for past few hours with BF, He accused me of cheating on him and then we just rowed.... But we sorted it out now. But hey guess what? He said he dint care if I was with another girl! If I got with a girl while with him, he don't care but if it was a bloke that would be cheating!! Aint that great? The one thing I wish and want is that I was snuggled in bed beside you right now. Goodnight MY hybrid xxx'

So... Terri says she'll take 'real good care' of Jess tomorrow at the trip to a farm park, Jess' boyfriend giving the go ahead of messing around with a girl, and both Terri and Jess Lusting after each other.... What will happen next.......
