Zume stirred awake and opened his blue eyes. He looked around seeing Kobe and the others standing over him. He smiled weakly, and Kobe whispered "relax and take it easy you just had surgery. Evan saved your life but..."

Zume looked concerned as he turned his head and widened his eyes in horror.

He could see Sheana sitting in a chair, weeping next to the other medical bed. He also spotted his friend Evan hooked up to a ventilator and tube in his throat. The nasty crater and black veins, however, were terrifying to look at.

He shakily sat up and Kobe whispered "you were out for hours; I contacted Sheana about what happened. Evan basically got shot by a stinger sniper rifle on the way into the club!"

Zume winced and swallowed weakly before saying, "poor Sheana, is he?"

Kobe shook his head saying, "he flat lined, but with the surgical and other medical tools. We managed to save his life. I contacted her about what happened; she was planning a nice romantic dinner when this happened!"

Sheana adjusted her glasses and wiped tears out of her golden eyes. She smiled softly and spoke solemnly "It's not your fault Zume, Evan always loved to help. He was so concerned about you! Kobe would have fallen into a permanent depression because of this!"

Zume blushed softly and Kobe gently embraced him saying, "Evan means it; it's like we always have been lovers. And I wouldn't mind it either way!"

Zume sighed and whispered "how is his condition?"

Sheana sighed and whispered "nobody has ever survived a stinger sniper rifle before, but he did. However, his condition, I don't really know, he hasn't been this hurt before..."

This sent a cold chill down Ryans and Lukas's spines. Ryan whimpered as Luka embraced him gently with a blank sorrow filled look on his face.

Sheana sighed and whispered "I hope he pulls through, such a passionate man he truly is. He reminds me of my mother before she died by a radiation laser..." she lied as her thoughts clouded up as she shed a tear as she was reminded of her mother's real cause of death, it was painful watching her die as a cub.

Zume blinked and asked, "What caused it? I mean the brain swelling?"

Sheana shook her head and whispered "it was that head butt you did to save yours and Kobe's life from that rapist. Evan doesn't know why but it did cause the swelling but it grew and grew, very slowly of course. Kobe told me all about it!"

Zume coughed weakly and whispered "if I could, I would embrace him and kiss him while using all my heart! He saved my life and saved Kobe from the pain it would have caused. I feel cold, very cold!"

Luka shook his head slowly and answered "modern medical and surgical supplies were out. So he had to get primitive supplies, for fuck's sake 400,000,000$ for a surgery?!"

Sheana frowned darkly and whispered "I will make sure daddy knows about this, if the mayor was even alive I would have castrated him!" a dark-blue aura surrounded her as she hissed out " I have to admit this, I would have become a berserker!"

Evan slowly stirred awake and his thoughts were heard audibly due to his psionics "Sheana..."

She widened her eyes as everybody jumped, she smiled tiredly and whispered "Bydo DNA is truly remarkable. I'm here Evan I'm here!" he unhurriedly extended his left paw and brushed it against her right cheek.

Her eyes softened feeling his gauntlet and nearly purred feeling it. The crater began to heal as did the black veins, but his heart was still very weak. He gripped the tube and slowly pulled it out of his throat. The rest nearly rushed over as he removed it and he whispered "don't worry I can still breath but, my heart is still a bit damaged from the radiation. It's the least I could do, because I would rather die than seeing the same thing happen to Zume or Sheana!"

Sheana blushed and he gently extended his arms for her to embrace. She carefully got onto his chest, and he gritted his teeth before saying, "man, I hope I didn't ruin your day!"

she gave him a kiss and then replied "it doesn't matter, at least you saved his life..."

Evan blushed and added, "I did it because I wanted to, and to make sure Kobe didn't do anything drastic. They both love each other immensely!"

Kobe flushed red as did Zume, who giggled softly. Evan sighed and muttered "that lion must have had a really hard head right?" Zume winced and answered "I almost felt like I smashed into a steel wall face first ouch!"

Evan winced and questioned, "How did you get your kinetic enhancements anyhow Zume?"

Kobe answered "I'm afraid he can't say anything about that! Strangely, your healing much faster..."

Evan winced and answered "nanites, energy well, and having bydo DNA. The Bydo heals very rapidly, as for how the swelling. Really was the head butt or your limit breaker that necessary?"

Zume winced saying, "what was I supposed to do at the time? He would have killed Kobe!"

Evan raised a paw and asked, "I'm not patronizing you just asking an opinion. In fact, why did you two become enforcers? I mean you don't like fighting!"

Kobe shuffled his feet and answered "it was the right thing to do when the club closed at the time, also we don't fight we just stop it from happening!"

Evan gently smiled as he brushed along Sheana's tail making her smile softly. She hid a small moan of pleasure as she replied "that's it ooh; I love your paws!" he snickered weakly and unhurriedly sat up despite feeling the searing pain in his waist.

Sheana moved off him as he steadily got to his feet and nearly stumbled forwards. He panted and muttered "dam it all; I'm just lucky he didn't aim higher!" he coughed before wrapping medical wrap around his waist.

Zume slowly sat up and whispered "man am I going to feel like shit for a while!" He cringed deeply before getting to his feet. Evan eyed him and stumbled forward to help him walk making him smile softly as he draped an arm over his shoulder.

Evan added, "anesthesia constantly leaves you feeling cold for a while, and relax you don't have any scars. Medical nanites consistently seal bones if placed onto them. It was to fucking close, and I am making sure my boss notices this!"

He tapped his forehead and added, "it's a good thing the enforcers have the technology to show thoughts. I hacked into the hospitals' main frame using Durandal. Meaning I know everything, it turns out the hospitals around the city are corrupt because of money and got scot free. Never again, do you hear me? Never and I do mean never another time!"

Zume's eyes hardened as he cursed out "bastards, it's because of people on the ex-mayor pay role that millions if not thousands die in the city alone! We barely have any money at all!"

Evan grew livid before saying, "impossible! The standard Enforcer pay grade is 40,000 credits a month! I bought whatever I from selling Donny some equipment and used my own money to buy the Excalibur class gauss weapons as well! I mean, if you don't have any money that means somebody is swindling you like the ban- those bastards no wonder the mayor had so much money!"

Kobe grew outraged as Luka replied "are you saying they were draining our accounts for years?"

Evan snorted and added, "I will leave a tip on my boss's desk to get this resolved. That way, you will have everything once again without it being stolen!"

His eyes widened as Zume embraced him in a bone-crushing hug. His eyes glowed blue from the kinetic enhancements activating as he replied "thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!"

Evan hugged him as well before activating his holo phone and dialed his boss's office.

He cleared his throat and replied "Hey boss; I think the hospitals are corrupt. I am not making this up to even, you can view my memories right here."

He felt a jolt of energy from inside his helmet, and he removed a small black device from the right side of the helmet. This was called the memory sequencer

. He attached it to his phone letting all the information download itself. He winced hearing his boss start to swear his ass off and covered it.

Kobe whistled saying, "damn he is pretty pissed!"

Evan shrugged his shoulders saying, "were on moderate terms, but it's been getting better. He is not really that badly steamed but should I say anything about the banks swindling our money? Oh yes I shall!"

After the tirade, he then added, "oh by the way, I think the banks are swindling every bodies money in the city!"

Sheana giggled before laughing hearing her father cursing and swearing up a storm once again.

Evan blinked with his eyes widened saying, "I think he just checked his balance that should fix all the big problems so far!"

He gently lowered his eyes and felt Zume kiss him. He let him enjoy himself as Zume added, "that's for saving my life!" he licked him back affectionately and Zume rested his head under his chin.

Evan smiled softly saying, "I would do anything, and I do mean anything to make sure you two prosper with each other. The effects if a type of syndrome that would have happened are not pleasant..."

Kobe raised an eyebrow and Evan explained "broken heart syndrome, extreme causes of sorrow make the heart muscles weaken enough to create heart attacks. In some dire causes, the effects are sadly permanent!"

Luka cringed before saying, "That's nasty!"

Kobe blanched before saying, "shit I really don't know what to say!" Zume released him and Evan was embraced by Sheana, who walked over to him.

He looked into her pretty golden fox like eyes. He smiled quietly saying, "Your eyes are very beautiful Sheana."

She smiled gently and added, "It looks like we all could use a shower!"

Evan smirked and raised an eyebrow saying, "all of us? Oh you naughty vixen yes you are!"

Everybody laughed loudly at that as she huffed and kissed his nose making him huff and roll his eyes.

She giggled saying, "Come on. What does this remind you of??"

Evan huffed saying, "mo; I love to make Silverwing fiction, more precisely where Marina is a bit mischievous and kissing her mates little red nose. I found it appropriate because the comedy value and how she loves him!"

He chuckled before gently wrapping his tail around her waist. She rested her head under his chin as he softly cradled her.

Kobe did the same with Zume and Zume whispered "aw how cute! I feel happy for them."

Luka cleared his throat and added, "Evan you my friend have VIP passes for life!"

Making him smile softly before asking, "Club Zero Blue wouldn't happen to have a place to eat right? I have to make up lost time with Sheana right now!"

Luka smiled softly and added, "Yeah I just added it a few months ago. So would you want this to be private or mph!"

Evan released Sheana and phased out before appearing in front of him and gave him a deep kiss. He broke off chortling seeing his stunned look and bulge in his pants as he added, "everybody is invited to join!" with a slight purr in voice making Zume chortle softly.

Two hours later they were all chatting while sitting around a table. Evan had Zume, and himself drink water during this time because of the recent surgery. Evan was sitting next to Sheana and him while chatting and laughing away the stress.

He ordered a steak which was delicious by its own right.

He frowned noticing Zume look off; he wasn't very well happy. He gently nudged him saying, "hey Zume what's the matter? Aren't you be happy that you didn't well die?"

Zume sighed closing his eyes as he shed a tear. He whispered "I feel very uncomfortable about my brush with death. I think that I have suffered enough! I don't know really if I should even work because of what happened!" this struck a nerve in him as the atmosphere grew far colder.

They shivered seeing Evan stare at him with a dull look before he raised an eyebrow saying, "stop working? Simply because of something so light? That you didn't know about? I'm sorry but that sentence struck a nerve simply because, whoever said I didn't have anything else wrong besides Bydo DNA because I did my vigilante duties?"

Their jaws clicked shut staring horrified at his eyes. Sheana felt cold seeing his eyes flicker, and she recoiled; the hazel disappeared and she gazed into the now red optic cybernetic eyes, and she whispered "no..."

Evan stuck out his right arm and stabbed his steak knife into it using his other paw. They gasped as he began cutting along removing his fur slowly and pulled it off showing a horrifying sight.

Black metal, his bones were replaced by dark metal as he gazed at it sorrowfully before jabbing it into his eyes. A metal clink was heard as he pressed his right index finger into them both, and they removed themselves. They all covered their mouths in horror as he showed them the red optic eyes behind his own that had wire instead of eye stalks.

He jabbed the knife into his right leg, and they heard the echoing sound of metal against metal as it pierced his fur once more. He placed his eyes back inside his skull sliding them in place.

He closed his eyes and whispered "my legs are metal prosthetics; my arms as well, my eyes are augmented. This is why I had to learn surgery and engineering on the road to take care of them; I really don't want to talk about it!"

Zume covered his mouth in horror as Sheana whispered "oh god what the hell happened to you? My poor precious anthro alpha!"

He closed his eyes giving into her and whispered "it was supposed to be a simple side job for Donny. On the road, I was visiting the best hospital in the ex-united states for surgeries and limb replacements for a client. It turns out one of the cargo trucks contained thermite; it's a substance that once sparks it never stops burning."

He shook his head remembering all too well what happened next.

Kobe felt unsettled as he swallowed his bile, and he continued"it was high jacked by some thugs. They were planning to ram it into the hospital, I had no choice but to open fire at it. It exploded, but the shards of metal and debris removed my eyes by piercing my visor, and my arms and legs were covered in thermite which was set of by the heat. My armor melted around them, literally melted! It got to the bone and went through them like butter; the surgeons had no choice but to amputate them..."

Sheana covered her mouth as he spoke firmly as his skin and fur started regenerating.

"This is why I considered yourself to be lucky, you never really suffered unlike myself. But do I give up? No I push on fighting for another day! I already lost my eyes, arms and legs, and my own humanity. However, I do it for a higher cause, to be this cities or planet's sword and shield! All the time I was in the hospital I was mentally and emotionally hanging by a thread. I constantly thought of my precious wolffox, you and Kobe, everybody who wanted to see me shine my best!"

Sheana smiled sadly as he lowered his head saying, "I constantly get into the worst situations when I least expect it. However, I never gave up! Look at yourself and look around! You have people who care, and a lover. Do you truly and I do mean to seriously think that you don't deserve this?"

Zume snarled before it clicked, he soon bursted into tears and whispered "I-I really don't know what to say, I apologize for my behavior!"

Evan sighed and sipped his drink before saying, "no, it should be me! This was supposed to be a happy time, and I destroyed it!"

Zume wiped the tears out of his eyes, and Evan added, "I am sorry for upsetting you; I truly am, I really didn't know what to say. I am not being an ass either; I am just deeply concerned as a friend and sex partner."

Sheana giggled softly and Evan gently nuzzled her and whispered "I'm sorry for not saying anything about this; I really didn't want to talk about it!"

Luka smiled sadly as he added, "What was the side job?"

Evan cleared his throat saying, "some people think side jobs are not important, their dead wrong. I was tasked by a scientist to carry a drug that could potientally save billions of lives if the hospital got it. It was a very dire task, because it could do something nothing else could, completely wipe out radiation in infected patients!"

Kobe whistled softly and added, "Shit that is pretty serious!"

Evan smiled quietly at Zume and added, "if you're still feeling troubled, then by all means we can talk about it together, preferably before sex with you and your hunky boyfriend!"

Zume's eyes widened comically as everybody around him bursted out laughing before he started laughing as well.

He smiled at him saying, "thanks, I needed that, I didn't realize you were that cynical..."

Evan snorted and muttered "it beats being a- I can't feel my legs..." Sheana's glasses slipped off her face, and he quickly grabbed them before they fell.

Sheana saw his spine and gasped saying, "oh god; it's dissolving away!"

His spine was literally melting away as pieces of white and black marrow seeped off him. He would never be able to walk again unless...

Evan sighed and added, "I knew this was going to happen so I ordered a cybernetic spine in nanite form. It arrived yesterday just in case."

He atomized a phial containing a glowing blue fluid. He licked his lips nervously saying, "it looks like a blue soda, once ingested the complex structure of the nanites flow out into the blood stream and attach to the spinal column; it's going to hurt a lot!"

He opened the lid and swallowed it. He stiffened feeling it drill into back before collapsing onto the table.

Luka raised an eyebrow saying, "god damn you have guts, having an artificial spine is agony to be placed in!"

Evan huffed barring his teeth feeling the mechanical wiring extending through his limbs. He added, "once it's ingested it will spread out wires to connect with the nervous system and slowly recycle the old spine. Note I didn't say get rid of it instead it breaks it down and adds to the spinal structure."

He stiffened again feeling the microscopic wiring attach to the nerves in his legs and his other limbs. It buzzed briefly before activating making him glow blue before it vanished.

Evan winced saying, "figures; it looks like Project Snowblind!"

Zume stared wide eyed saying, "you risked death and being crippled for life for me?!"

Evan merely nodded saying, " and I would do so in a heartbeat again; you have a unique family here, along with a lover who is always looking after you."

Zume looked dumfounded and Evan explained, "I'm stubborn as hell, and that's the way I like it. I maybe be unwilling to change without my own decisions, but I don't just stop and be lazy. Everybody deserves a second chance, as long as their not too far gone..."

He stopped at the last sentence, and Zume nodded finding himself to agree with his words making Evan sigh and replied "I can't feel anything in my arms or legs, but my new spine is integrating itself ah!" sharp pain was felt all across his body as the drills latched onto his spine and soon locked themselves within.

Sheana shook her head and answered "I will never understand you, everything you get is black ops material!"

Evan grunted saying, "its because I just find them by coincidence, it's better than rubbing people the wrong way. However, that doesn't mean I am selfish like getting every enforcer commando armor!"

He grunted and materialized a small box of chocolates saying, "please by all means take one. Maybe this will cheer us all up!"

They shook their heads and chuckled softly as each of them got a piece of sweet chocolate.

Soon enough they start chatting and laughing lightly once again. The sight brought a smile to his face as he shared a piece with his girlfriend much to her delight.

later it was time to close up shop, and Evan was about to stand up with Sheana when he heard Zume say, "hey!"

he looked over his shoulder and raised an eyebrow as Zume replied "I can't possibly express my thanks but... would you mind if me, and Zume ask you out to dinner sometime?"

He looked at him hopefully before seeing him smile and nodding much to their joy.

Evan added, "absolutely but first miss kinky here needs some help from the love doctor row!"

she blushed as he bursted out laughing before smirking as he placed his swat helmet back on. She huffed as she spoke mock fiercely "your ass is mine tonight Evan!"

Evan cocked his head looking at her saying, "sorry it was taken by Zume and Kobe, no pegging for you!"

Everybody else spewed out their drinks just as Zume and Kobe fell over laughing their asses off.

Sheana twitched and pulled out her blaster saying, "that's it mister dance for me!" shooting at his feet forcing him to dance as he danced out the door with her calmly shooting at him and soon ran after him.

Luka covered his forehead and muttered "I will never understand his antics will I?"

Zume brushed tears of mirth out of his eyes as he wheezed "nope, god that was fucking funny! Speaking of which I could deserve a long fuck interested Kobe?"

Kobe licked Zume's muzzle as he added, "always Zume, Always!"

Sheanas Abode, Master bedroom

Evan yelped as he was slammed down onto the bed and was quickly handcuffed. Sheana huffed saying "you've been a bad boy and bad boys are punished!"

He snickered saying "oh no! I'm stuck whatever shall I do?"

he squirmed around mockingly making her roll her golden eyes and add "why you!"

She quickly undressed herself and slammed herself down on his cock and began riding him. She pulled out a black belt and shouted "WHOSE YOUR MISTRESS?" and began smacking the side of his ass with it making him pant and whine.

Soon enough loud moans and screams of pleasure echoed from them both all across the entire neighborhood.

With two certain gay furs Zume was panting as Kobe pounded him greatly as sweat covered their fur. Zume raised his head saying "hey Kobe do you hear that?"

Kobe raised an eyebrow and stopped before giggling as they heard the screams and moans of pleasure and Zume added "now that was worth it! Come on don't stop me just yet!"

Kobe rolled his blue eyes saying "yeah, yeah Zume whatever!" and resumed their love making. happy to be with each other once more.
