"You up early." Xilo yawned.

"We were hungry." Answered Lily.

"Very hungry." said Lilu. She giggled a bit. "How did you sleep, Xilo?"

"Still tired..." Xilo moaned.

That was how the entire day went. Xilo would wake up after her half hour to hour-long naps, call for her sister's, and Lily and Lilu would show up, the pink rings around their legs. "Shh!" Seti brought a finger to her lips to shush them. Her head tilted sideways towards the rest of the house. "Do you hear that?"

Rael's long ears flicked forward and back, then rose slowly until the tips were just past the top of her head. "It sounds like... someone's crying!"
