The Shadows Chronicles
Three - Little Brother's Purpose.
Liki Wolfspirit.
"Shadey! If you don't get to the docks they're going to miss you!" A middle aged Fangren shouted up the stairs as she stood by the door.
"I'm almost ready Mom!" Shadey called as he wrestled with his shirt to get it over his head.
"You don't want Liki to come back home to a wrecked island do you?"
"Of course not! I'm doing my best..." He gasped as he popped his head out of the shirt then ran out the door and rushed down the stairs, meeting his mom at the door, who gave him a small carrier for his lunch that day.
"It's been ten years since he left. I wonder what he's doing sometimes, and when he's coming home." Shadey said softly, sighing a bit at the same time.
"He's got allot on his shoulders." His mom told him, "The fate of The Shadows continuing on rest on him. The fate of the docks rest on you though, now get going!" She pushed him out the door lightly with a smile.
The black furred wolf laughed as he stepped outside and turned one last time to his mom, "All right, I'll be back once we're done with the day's catch."
"Keep it moving along Shadey, your father would be very proud of the way you run things."
Shadey nodded and turned away, starting his trek down the hill his house sat on towards the docks close by, the ocean waving along the horizon beyond as the late morning sunlight gleamed and sparkled from the waves.
It was not that long ago, about two years to be close, that his father was the dock master for Mushroom Isle, as well as the leader of the whole isle itself. However, an accident at the docks involving a shark that had been caught in the nets now meant that Shadey was in charge of the docks. His father passed away after the attack, and Shadey was put in charge by vote of the dock workers.
Until that point, Shadey had been working as a dock hand under his father, and also training himself in the combat styles of a rogue that he had observed Uriay and Liki training and doing that he could remember from when he was still a child. When Uriay died of old age, Liki soon made the decision to leave Mushroom Isle, at only about ten years of age, and search for his own way to recreate The Shadows and help people. Shadey was only about six himself then, now he was sixteen and already just being pushed into being the Dock Master. Thankfully, his mother still held the role of leading the entire island, he doubted he could handle that kind of stress.
As the black Fangren stepped onto the docks with a soft clacking of his foot claws, he eyed a new ship that was arriving off the horizon. He raised an eyebrow at it. They didn't have any ships scheduled to arrive today, was the one due in two days early?
He reached and entered the dock house soon after and flipped open the books there, still freshly marked by his father earlier that year. There was a shipment of cloth due from EarthEnd in two days time, and the land of EarthEnd was not that far away, only about a day's travel over the ocean, so what as that ship sailing toward his docks?
As he tried to continue looking for the answer, more dockhands arrived and began to pull up the fishing nets that had been set the day before, also tentatively eyeing the approaching ship as it came closer and closer.
Shadey eventually gave up looking for any entries of ships and decided to meet the vassal as it docked. He left the dock house and stood at the very edge of the docks, his tail waving in the wind as he watched the ship approach. It took about thirty minutes more before it started pulling up close to the docks to make land, and Shadey noticed the Beasts working the ship were filled with Anubians, which worried him slightly.
The War of EarthEnd had quickly reached Mushroom Isle's ears not long after it occurred, considering it caused a shortage of material for the isle as one of it's closest partners of port, the destruction of the city was a backlash that forced the isle into emergency measures. Mushroom Isle farmed its own food, but materials such as wood, cloth, metal, and other essentials were imported from other cities.
The presence of Anubians on his island, even ten years after the war and the old rivals had taken on a role of peace rather than of war, gave Shadey a sense of unease. The Dockworkers showed the same worry, quickly fanning away from the ship as it stopped and one of the Anubians threw out a rope for them to tie them to the dock. Shadey stepped forward then and did it himself, effectively inviting them onto the docks, but, he was surprised as they leveled their bridge to the dock and instead of Anubian stepping down, a Fangren started walking down.
He could tell right away that she was female, due to the figure of her body, but the way she moved spoke other things. Liki walked the same way, Shadey thought, and he believed perhaps that this female wolf was a rogue coming to learn at the isle's school. She wore an outfit of blue and tan colored leather armor, the blue striping down her arms, down her body, and the insides of her legs. Two daggers were slung around her waist in their holsters, moving only slightly as her hips did. She looked to be about the same age as Shadey he guessed, young and probably just learning her profession as a rogue. What he could see of her fur, it was all pure white, the very opposite of him.
She walked carefully down the walkway, and as she stepped onto the dock, she first regarded Shadey with a hard look before she knelt down right in front of him where he stood and started untying the ship from the docks. The Anubian began to pull the rope up back onto the ship once she had undone it, and the vessel started to edge away from the dock.
The female stood back up and regarded Shadey once again, her blue eyes pierced into his once again opposite colored red ones and he had to look away for some reason.
"Are you the Dock Master?" She asked him after he looked away, her voice sounded light and soft, not like normal rogue's that Shadey knew at the school.
"Y-yes." He staggered at first, bringing his look back to her and trying to regain himself. Everything about this women was completely opposite of him, her fur color, eye color, gender. The only thing they could probably share was their skills as a rogue now it seemed.
"I've come to join the battle school here, the one that Liki Wolfspirit went to. Do you know it?"
Shadey's eyes went wide as he heard his step brother's name, "Yes, I know it, but, who are you? How do you know Liki?" He knew that after the War of EarthEnd, Liki's name already was being whispered around as a rumor, until his brother continued to do amazing things and soon, almost everyone knew about him.
"I come from Bremen, I hired those Anubians to bring me here. Not that long ago Liki saved my city from a horrible dragon that had been terrorizing us for the last few years. He inspired me and I've come here to learn to be what he is, a 'Shadow' as he called it. He offered me to travel with him but I could not leave at the time he asked."
Shadey's ears fell a bit, "Oh, you won't learn that here I'm afraid..."
She eyed him and tilted her head, "Why not, will they not teach me?"
"No it's not that..." Shadey began, "You see, Liki's the only one that can teach you how to be a Shadow. It's not a normal style of rogue taught here."
"Then, how did Liki learn it?"
"His Master, He-" Shadey stopped a moment and shook his head, "Hang on a moment, first, I should know who you are."
The female Fangren nodded, "Forgive me, I should of said who I was first. I am Silverfang, I was a student in Bremen when Liki killed the dragon, but my schooling would not allow me to leave with him when I wanted to go with him." She smiled brightly a moment and that smile made Shadey blush a bit and make him thankful for his black fur.
"I see, welcome to Mushroom Isle...Silverfang." He smiled as well for a moment, and continued, "I'm afraid you won't learn anything about being a Shadow here though, Liki learned it from his Master, and he's passed on. The only Shadow alive seems to be Liki, and he's the only one who could teach it to you now."
Silverfang's smile faded down, "Do you know where he is at all?"
Shadey shook his head, "The last I heard of him was when a sailor from Camelot told me of the Lich he killed, that was seven years ago."
She frowned even more, "He killed the dragon about two years ago."
"Word doesn't reach us very often enough, or sailors keep to themselves." Shadey shrugged softly, "Liki left Mushroom Isle ten years ago when his Master died, saying he would find a way to recreate The Shadows himself and restore the organization. Of course, everyone here knows of him since he lived here, he was my step brother."
Now Silverfang's eyes went wide, "Can...you teach me anything?"
He chuckled softly, "I watched Liki and his Master train often, but the most I could teach you would be the fighting style, I can't teach you the use of the Shadows."
"That would suffice." Silverfang said, her tail wagging a bit behind her, and she asked, "Will Liki ever return here?"
"He told me when he left that he would return one day..." Shadey said softly, remembering the day a moment. "But I'm not sure when that day will ever be."
Silverfang nodded, "May I stay here on the island?"
"You'll have to see my mother for permission for that, she lives just up the hill there." He pointed at his house that overlooked the docks on the hill.
"I will do that then." She smiled and bowed slightly, turning away from Shadey. She took a few steps and looked back, "Do you live up there too?"
"Yes, perhaps I shall see you later." He said hopefully.
"Of course you will, I want you to teach me. Oh, you never told me your name either." She looked at him with an odd look.
He blinked a moment, "Oh, right! Hehe...I'm Shadow Wolfspirit, everyone calls me Shadey." He rubbed the back of his head slightly with his paw, as Silverfang started walking away again.
"I will see you later in the day then, Shadow." She waved a hand in the air to him.
Shadey watched for a moment as the female walked away, finding his gaze drifting around the back of her body as she made her way off the docks and started drudging up the fairly steep hill. He didn't notice as one of his dockhands saddled up beside him and whispered in his ear, "She's kinda good looking ain't she?"
Shadey started and pushed him away as he felt his cheeks burn a bit, "Shut up."
Over the course of the next two months, Shadey spent his days after work helping Silverfang train in what little he knew of the combat styles of a Shadow.
When he ran out of things to teach her, they sparred together with daggers, but this quickly tired him out after just a few days. When he worked in the morning, he had little energy remaining for intense training, and he could tell that Silverfang was slightly aggravated with the rate her training was going.
The female Fangren spent the time she wasn't training with Shadey roaming the island, talking to the islanders, helping where she could to make herself welcome by them, and building her campsite at the very spot where Liki and Uriay once had their own camp by a large old tree. The tree was gnarled by hundreds and thousands of dagger strikes over the years, but it's branches still held life in them amazingly. Shadey's mom explained that the tree was aided by the power of the Shadows, which kept it alive even though it was gnarled past normal limits. When Silverfang asked her where that power came from now, his mom only looked over to a close by grave.
"It comes from Uriay." Was all she said as she walked away that day.
Today, as Shadey approached Silverfang at her camp, he didn't have his daggers with him. He was hoping that today he could rest, and just talk with her instead. He had taken a liking to Silverfang, though how much the feeling was mutual with her he did not know.
"Where are your daggers?" She asked him as he sat down under the tree.
"I don't have them with me today, I was hoping we could take a break. I know you're not rally satisfied with the rate our training is going, but I'm not sure what more I can teach you and I can't keep sparring with you each day, it exhausts me and I can't focus at work then." He looked up to her as she came close, "Perhaps you'd be better off waiting for Liki to return for now, I've really done all I can as for the fighting style."
She stared at him a moment and sighed lightly, "Yeah...I suppose you're right. I'm sorry I put all of it on you...I just..." She sighed again as she slipped down the tree and sat beside him, "I just want to prove myself..."
Shadey looked at her and then looked out at the Dark Forest across the island, remembering someone else he had known about long ago, someone who also wanted to prove herself.
"Why? To who do you want to prove yourself to?"
"To Liki..."
He turned his head to her again, "To my brother?"
"When he saved Bremen from the dragon, I tried to gain his favor, I wanted him to train me, but I was too weak...I was still young and not talented enough he said, I wouldn't be able to survive traveling with him if he continued to have to fight things like the Lich or the Dragon." Silverfang looked at the ground between her legs still. "I told him...I just wanted to prove myself, and...that made him yell at me...he actually yelled at me not to "throw my life away" as he said..."
Shadey shook his head and he said, "You see that forest over there?"
She looked up and nodded, and Shadey continued, "Someone Liki really cared for...no, someone he loved, died there...that forest is the one place on this island you do not want to be at night, it's filled with undead. She too, wanted to prove herself, she wanted to show people she was strong, and she threw her life away for it. Liki was too late to save her, he tried so hard...he probably didn't want to see the same thing happen to you, or to anyone."
Silverfang stared at the forest for a long time, "I see...who was she?"
"Her name was Uni." Shadey shuffled on the ground a bit to get comfortable, "She and Liki were students together, but she was in training for becoming a paladin. She believed her training, made specifically for fighting the undead, would be enough to let her survive in such a dangerous place."
"But she didn't." Silverfang scoffed lightly, "I'm older, stronger, I could do it."
"Could you?" Shadey looked at her sternly, and for once, with a hint of anger at Silverfang's stubbornness, "Could you do what Liki did and survive there for three whole days, no food, no water, almost no sleep. Hiding in the trees away from the hungering claws of the mindless bodies of Beasts trying to rip off your ears for a snack!?" His voice rose in anger as he spoke, and as he yelled the last bit, Silverfang was deeply surprised by then with her ears folded back, as if to protect them from the claws he spoke of.
Shadey shuffled again and he looked at the ground, "My brother...he was only FIVE when he did that. Uni was eight...It was a part of his training, and it will be a part of yours at some point and possibly my own someday." Shadey stood up quickly, turning toward Silverfang again, "But only when you're ready, when you're told you are. Not before. This is why Liki yelled at you, this is why I yell at you. Do not throw your life away."
Silence followed a moment until Silverfang spoke again, "Why then, does Liki throw his away, why did he go into the forest to try and save her, to throw his life away for her then?"
"Because he did not know any better." Shadey said simply, "He would have died in there too that night if Uriay hadn't given chase."
"What about EarthEnd, The Lich, all of the times he's saved people and put himself in danger?"
Shadey stared at her for a long moment before he smiled a moment, "It's not throwing your life away to save that which is precious to you."
Now it was Silverfang's turn to snarl, "Your words contradict themselves! You say it's not throwing away your life, but then you say that he was doing just that when he tried to save her!"
"No Silverfang." Shadey said softly, "I mean something bigger...not just the person, the persons, everyone..." He looked out at the island, his eyes shimmering lightly.
"If I had to put my life on the line to protect Liki, to protect this island, to protect the world even, I would do it. Could you call that throwing my life away? Maybe, if I didn't have the skill to win the fight. Would you say that if one beast kills at least one other one on the battlefield, that his life was well made? But if he dies before he even raises a blade or casts a spell, he was worthless?"
Silverfang remained silent again, until she asked calmly, "Where is all this coming from?"
He didn't answer, only continued, "When a family is threatened, who is the one to defend it? The male? The female? How about even...the child?"
"What?"
"Liki's companion...Blackpaw, I've heard of him. I've heard stories about his parents too."
"Yes that boy." She nodded, understanding, "He was there with him that day he killed the dragon. Hey, he was younger than me though!" She suddenly realized, "How is it he was able to travel with him?!"
"Because Blackpaw has something you don't, a purpose. You're not getting it Silverfang. Blackpaw protected his family without even knowing it, and now that he realizes it, he has the drive, and the purpose, to become all that he can. Even though he doesn't know if his parents are alive, he trains as hard as he can, he fights as hard as he can. Not just for his parents, but for all the other children that were like him, that might be like him, for everyone that is around him. He might have fought that dragon for you even, it might have been the thought of protecting you that kept him fighting even as his paws could no longer hold a weapon."
Shadey looked away again, staring at the forest once more, "Liki is much the same, except his drive is to save those from suffering what he did, what his drive is to find the family he can call his own."
Silverfang said nothing more, before she made the comment, "You don't think I have a purpose."
Shadey shook his head slowly, "No I don't, the only thing you've talked about so far has been how you want to improve for yourself. Throwing your life away is a horrible thing when you do it for yourself. Uni went into the forest for no reason other than to show up others, she died doing that. That's throwing your life away. Liki went in there after her and nearly died trying to save her, that's not throwing your life away, that's being a hero. That's being a role model."
"I see..." The female Fangren turned after that and walked away, leaving Shadey alone as she entered her tent and didn't come back out.
The black wolf continued to stare out at the forest beyond as he thought to himself, he remembered when Uriay had told him these things. He hadn't quite understood it then, but now he understood. Apparently it took hearing such reckless ambition from someone he himself was starting to care for it to sink in...
"Silverfang." Shadey called out lightly the next morning. He had the day off today and he intended to make up for his show the night before by sparring with her. He had his daggers slung about his waist as he stood in front of her tent and called her name to wake her up.
"Silverfang. I have today off, I came here to spar with you if you want."
The tent flap opened up suddenly and Shadey yelped and looked away quickly, "SILVERFANG!"
"Oh...sorry..." She was completely naked in her tent, "I'll...get changed... hang on."
"Geeze..." Shadey turned away and waited, a soft blush on his cheeks as he tried to calm himself, noticing that slight stirring in his sheath as he couldn't help but picture that brief image he caught of her body.
"I thought about what you said..." She said as ruffled about in the tent, the tent flap still open.
"Oh yeah?" He chuckled lightly, "And?"
"I...I never really thought about fighting for anything or anyone but myself before but I think you were right. So...I decided on something else..."
"What is that?" He started, before he felt a pair of paws grab each of his shoulders and then he yelped as he was pulled into the tent, the flap fluttering closed as he fell onto Silverfang on the ground covered with blankets and comforting cloths that served to make the tent livable.
He gasped and the blush that had been fading on his cheeks came back with a fury as he realized she was still naked, and he barked a bit "Silverfang! What are you doing?"
"Acting on my decision." She murred lightly in his ear as her arms held him against her naked body. He could feel the mounds of her chest against his back, the curves of her lower body on his waist as he found himself sitting on her lap.
He remained still, trying to think clearly at the moment, but as he felt her paws slowly caress his chest and go down his stomach, he was finding that difficult to manage as more blood left his brain and ran down toward...other...spots. He realized then that he was so pent up, without having any time to himself for the last few months.
The quickly arousing male managed to breath out as the female that had tugged him into this situation brought her paws to his waist, "A-and...what decision is that...?"
"I need," Silverfang giggled as her paws teased slowly around a growing bulge at Shadey's groin, before moving to the sides of his hips and unlatching and removing his belt and daggers, "someone to care for...I need to start something more worthwhile than just my own self-worth..."
Shadey gulped softly as he let himself be declutched by the beautiful female, "So you choose...me...like a family?"
"You've been helping me selflessly, and I never really opened up to you at all." She gave another murr in his ear as her paws went back to caressing his broad chest and stomach slowly.
"You're pretty open to me right now." He giggled lightly, his ears wiggling back and forth as he was starting to enjoy the treatment, his focus going toward the throbbing he felt in his pants as his wolfhood became fully hard for the first time in what felt like ages. He wiggled lightly against Silverfang, grinning at the feel of her breasts against his body as they were squeezed between them a bit. "Silverfang...I have had an interest in you, you know."
"I know..." She whispered lightly as she put her head on his shoulder, "I didn't really care then...but...you are right, I need to have someone else with me. I don't really have things to care for..."
"Wait..." Shadey whined and he gripped her paws with his own, "Wait..." He panted a moment, trying to focus again, "You-you're not just doing this thinking it will help you become better...are you?" He looked into her eyes as her head was on his shoulder.
"No...I know it will be some time before Liki returns, until he is able to train me, but I don't want him to refuse me again...I don't want to just keep...training day in and day out, getting nowhere with it. You were right, he was right, I lacked the motivation, I lacked the purpose." Her paws squeezed his softly a moment, "Shadey...I want to start something more, and you're here, you've been kind to me...I think I'd like to stay here with you..."
"Silverfang..." Shadey murred and closed his eyes, "Thanks for that..." He grinned as he turned in her arms, jumping her and pinning her to the ground under him, her breasts becoming a separation that prevented him from completely laying on her. Before she even got out a yelp, he pressed his lips against hers in a deep kiss.
She was surprised a moment, but she relaxed as he dug his tongue into her muzzle and began to wrap it around her own lovingly. He caressed her naked sides with his paws slowly as he laid over her, letting his claws gently glide through her silky white fur, all the while turning his head from side to side as he kissed her and showed her the love he had been feeling inside.
The female moaned in the kiss softly, being underneath him she was not able to do much, but her paws found purpose in trying to remove Shadey's armor and the rest of his clothing, which made him murr lightly as he felt them roaming his body.
Eventually, Silverfang managed to unlatch and began to start pulling up his chest guard and bracers, and Shadey had to break their kiss as she pulled it up over his head, revealing more of his black furred body to her for the first time. Muscles, toned by years of dock work and hard lifting, outlined by his black fur, strained down his arms and chest and body while he held himself up above her, a smile on his muzzle as he panted softly in excitement, staring into her blue eyes with his red ones deeply.
Slowly, he leaned down again, but this time, he went for her neck and gave it a soft nip. Silverfang reared her head back and whined out loud softly, eyes closing as she held still for this powerful male. "Shadey...I should tell you...this is my first time..."
The male Fangren licked her neck slowly and he chuckled a bit as he smiled, "Don't worry...it is for me too...I honestly have very little clue what I'm doing...but being a dockworker means I get to hear all the nasty stories from other males."
Silverfang laughed lightly, "And at least we know the basics to it yeah?"
"Exactly." He chuckled and he rose up onto his knees, quickly trying to remove his pants, his focus again returning to the throbbing he felt in them.
"Easy boy." The female grinned and leaned up after him as his paws took hold of his pants to pull them down. "Not so fast, let's go slow...let me see how well I can work up my future mate..."
Shadey blushed heavily and nodded, removing his paws as Silverfang laid him back and leaned over him instead. She kissed him softly on the lips first for a few seconds before moving down his body, giving his toned body loving and teasing licks, one particular one she gave right on his nipple making him squirm and whine pleasurably.
She continued down his body, to his belly, licking the fur slowly and making his abs clench each time she did so from the strange feeling of being licked for the first time. He felt her paws start to dig under his pants at the same time, just on the sides of his cock that he felt throbbing and straining against its enclosure. She didn't pause in her licking of his stomach as she pulled down his pants, keeping her eyes closed even as his bright red wolfhood finally was able to spring out to life eagerly, making him wince as it whipped through the air to stand straight up at a well sized seven inches.
He groaned eagerly as Silverfang finished pulling his pants down from his legs and she pulled aside silently, and finally, she lowered her licking once more, still never opening her eyes as she brought her tongue down to the insides of his legs and she licked up his right leg, her tongue only lightly touching his balls and giving him a pleasurable jolt that made his cock throb, and he saw to his surprise a line of pre already dripping from his tip. He moaned once more as Silverfang opened her muzzle and took his balls in her mouth readily, and she began to gently suckle on them.
She knew they were very sensitive organs, from the experience of how many males she herself had kicked in them, so she was very careful as she kept her teeth away from Shadey's testicles, letting her lips message them as her tongue lapped the furry sack they hung in. At this same time, she lowered a paw down her own body to her pussy, and began to stroke her lips slowly, already wet and shining with her juices in her eagerness for her first time.
Shadey rolled his hips down in pleasure and arched his back a bit, the underside of his wolfhood tapping against the top of his lover's head as she chewed on his balls. He groaned and closed his eyes as he enjoyed the feelings, his cock throbbing lightly and thickening as it gained more and more blood, the veins starting to crawl all over the bright red length, twitching in time to his excited heartbeats. He felt his sheath get stretched momentarily as his knot formed at the base, and he wiggled a bit to free the bulge from the furry cover, moaning as it closed around snug behind the knot.
Silverfang finally opened her eyes at this point, her eyes quickly roving and staring at the throbbing wolfhood that was right in front of her face. She stopped her suckling of the male orbs in her muzzle to instead start licking the more sensitive flesh of Shadey's cock. Her tongue licked up the underside first all the way up to the tip, where she tasted the salty precum that was leaking from the eager shaft as it twitched from her attention, along with the body it was attached to shivering and Shadey's low moans of pleasure sounding like small little howls.
Silverfang panted softly as she licked back down, and she took a special interest in the knot at the base. She knew this part was also very sensitive, but in a different manner than testicles. The female brought her muzzle down to one side of Shadey's cock, and she opened her muzzle over one half of his knot, her paw taking the other end gently. She grinned on her lips as Shadey tensed as his knot was surrounded.
Shadey laid still as he felt his knot covered on both ends, from personal sessions with himself, he knew if his knot would get squeezed, it would bring him so much closer to climax than he already was. He gasped out as he felt Silverfang's lips press down on one end, and her paw squeezed the other bulb gently. Instantly, the knot flared and nearly doubled in size as his wolfhood lurched, shooting a string of clear pre out and along his chest. He felt his balls tense at the same time, and the rushing feeling of cum shooting up his cock quickly after, but it stopped as the pressure on his knot went away suddenly, leaving him shuddering as he felt the climax edge away. Silverfang was forced to remove her muzzle as the knot ballooned and she giggled as she watched it slowly recede back down to it's previous size without further stimulation, however, his cock twitched much more rapidly now, the squeeze having put him on the edge.
"C-careful..." Shadey panted with a smile of his own, "If you do that this will be over too soon..."
"Hmmm I guess it's time to get down to the real thing then." Silverfang murred as she got up and turned around on all fours. She lifted her tail and showed Shadey her swollen pussy, leaking her feminine juice down onto the blanket under her. The sight and smell of her arousal kicked Shadey in the brain, and he scurried to mount her.
"Look who's talking about getting done too fast." Silverfang laughed as Shadey quickly laid down on her in the traditional Fangren doggy style, the tip of his cock sliding along her lips as he sought the correct spot off instinct, his hips shivering as he kept himself from giving in to the desire to blindly thrust.
"I, um, might need a little help...aiming." He blushed slightly as he kept rubbing his cock on her lips, never feeling an opening he could thrust into.
Silverfang smiled and she reached under herself with a paw to grab onto him. She quickly used his tip to spread her lips and directed him to her vaginal opening. Shadey gave a thrust as soon as he felt it, his cock surging into her, he didn't even pause to remember that she was a virgin.
She yelped as his cock tore open her hymen, taking her virginity, and Shadey stopped as he realized what he had done, his ears pinning back behind his head as he whined, "Oh Gaia! I'm sorry Silverfang!"
"It's all right..." She gritted her teeth in pain, feeling a bit of blood trickling down from her lips now "Gaia that hurts...just hold still a moment, it'll go away soon I'll let you know."
Both of the wolves stayed still, as Silverfang's body fought off the pain. Slowly, Shadey could feel his cock start to get rubbed and messaged more and more eagerly by the walls surrounding it, giving him the itch to pull out and thrust more and start mating, but he resisted the temptation. It wasn't until he could feel the muscles rippling in waves on his wolfhood that Silverfang finally breathed out. "Okay, the pain is gone, you feel wonderful now."
"I think this will feel even more wonderful." Shadey grinned and he started to pull out of her slowly, groaning as he felt her squeeze down on him, making his cock shoot out pre as it throbbed and slid around in her. Silverfang gave a similar moan and a also a whine as only the tip of his cock was left inside her, leaving her with an empty feeling before he gave a gentle, though passionate and quick thrust back into her, his knot spreading her lips a bit as it slammed up against them.
The female yelped in pleasure this time instead, rearing her head back as her body gripped onto the cock inside her hungrily. "OH! Shadey!" Her claws ripped through the blanket with and audible ripping as she pushed back on the knot she felt.
The time that Shadey had spent still had brought him away from the edge of climax enough while at the same time he was able to fully enjoy the sensations of Silverfang's vaginal walls squeezing around his shaft as it throbbed heavily, filling her with pre that allowed him to thrust hard now. A wet slippery squelch sounded whenever he thrust into her, followed by her excited yips and his pleasured groans. Shadey's paws wrapped down around his lover, and he started to fondle her breasts with his paws, squeezing them and delighting in the yips it gained him aside from his thrusts.
They really started getting into it now, the world lost to him as Shadey started a rhythm that he kept up and the throbbing in his cock grew more and more rapid and eager, a numbness he knew starting to grow in his balls and his knot starting to twitch along with his wolfhood. It was lost to Silverfang as she focused on the full feeling she gained whenever his cock stuffed her pussy, the pulsing she felt from it as the male atop of her was coming close to filling her with his seed, and the way her walls just kept on gripping and vibrating on him. It was more incredible than anything both had ever felt alone.
It didn't take long then, for the two of them to reach their end. Silverfang was first, she howled out loud as her body convulsed heavily, her pussy covering Shadey's cock in slick female cum and her walls rippling inward to try and coax the male to cum so her body could suck up his seed.
Shadey responded in kind to that, the gooey feminine juice that now covered his cock and knot allowing him to give one last thrust forward. His knot split the female Fangren's lips as he dug and pushed it in easily, then locking them together as the bulge swelled up as it was surrounded and stimulated by her walls, and her lips clamped on behind it tightly. He gave a few heaves on her, to further bury himself as he felt his balls itch and then unleash themselves.
His wolfhood twitched rapidly before he lurched powerfully and cum rocketed down his cock to the tip. He shoot deep into Silverfang's body, howling his own enjoyment as his cock shoot spurt after spurt, much longer and stronger than anytime he had ever masturbated himself. The constant stimulation of her walls on his swollen and sensitive knot caused his peak to last until he became physically exhausted and he slumped on top of her.
Silverfang yipped as she lost balance when he slumped, tumbling to the side. Because of the tie they shared from Shadey's knot, he was pulled with her and they ended up laying on the ground on their sides, panting rapidly. Even though both of them had climaxed and were too tired to move, both of their bodies continued to work. Shadey's cock throbbed and pulsed with each ripple Silverfang's vagina made as her body sucked up his seed, which caused him to shoot out more.
Time slipped away as they both enjoyed the tie they shared and the continuing sensations that kept on making the male shoot more and more into her, and without realizing, they fell asleep to it.

?
Two months past. Shadey and Silverfang made love and mated together more often than they spent training, and even training ended up leading to being knotted somehow each time. Shadey found he had much more energy after work now, he always felt refreshed and rejuvenated after a day with Silverfang.
Silverfang showed the same happiness, she opened up more to her new lover, smiled more often to him, and for the first few times, he was able to see her tail wagging. They both enjoyed each other's company, not just in sex, but in watching the night sky or the morning sun.
It still took them awhile to let someone know about them, they both told Shadey's mom one day about two weeks after their first time. She beamed and clasped Shadey tightly in a hug, before she let go and told him. "Now, you've found your purpose too. Take care of her Shadey."
Life seemed swell, until the day something unexpected happened, and Shadey found Silverfang panting, feverishly, sweat matting her fur, and running a horrible fever. He took her straight to the local druids on the island, who examined her with all they could and what magic allowed.
He paced the waiting area outside the druidic looking building worriedly until after what seemed like forever, a Caprican came outside.
"What's wrong?!" Shadey asked him quickly, not even looking to read the druid's face if it was serious enough.
The deer-like beast shoot his head slowly, his large antlers moving to and fro as he did, "It's serious. She has a genetic disorder."
"A genetic disorder?"
The druid nodded as he continued, and he handed Shadey a small wrapping. "This was found within her clothing, it's a personal profile that she was required to have with her for this very reason. It seems everyone in her family has this happen to them at some point. This gives a detailed profile as too what this illness is, apparently, it is a form of poisoning."
"Is there a cure then? If she was born it meant her mother or father or whatever survived it right?"
"There is a cure yes, but it requires the talent of a more attuned druid. Her cells are producing a toxin that is poisoning her from the inside. To remove the bad cells without damaging the intact ones is a difficult and time consuming task. I'm afraid, none of us here have the right talent to do such a thing. We focus more on healing larger, obvious injury, this is too miniscule for us to manage. The cells producing the toxin look seem perfectly healthy to our eyes."
"Then who does have the talent?!" Shadey barked, making the deer cringe. "I'll go get them!"
"The only druids who could do this would be ones under the employ of the King, and they are only for his personal use. Other than that, the only other druids would be ones who use their power not only to heal, but to damage, so that they could really know the difference between ill cells and healthy ones."
Shadey growled a moment at that, until he remembered something he heard over the years about Liki, "Wait, Liki travels with a druid. Do you think that he could be able to help?"
"A traveling Druid is even better, they attune themselves with nature wherever they go." The Caprican nodded, a little eager to have found light in this dark topic, "I think I've heard of the druid too, his name is Kaz, he travels with Liki as a healer for his group, but he's also a fighter too so he can distinguish the good from bad as well. He'd be perfect for this task." The druid became somber again as he added, "But...she doesn't have very long to last, we can try our best to remove cells we think are making the toxin and buy her more time, but at the same time, if we remove ones that aren't it'll only worsen her condition."
"How much time does she have if you do nothing?"
"About a year."
"Don't do anything then, I'll have to chase down Liki." Shadey said, "Keep her comfortable, abide the pain for her if you can, but otherwise don't do anything that might lower her lifetime, I'll be going on a quest."
The druid didn't get a chance to say good luck or anything before Shadey dashed away to his house as fast as he could, bursting through the door and rushing to his room. He quickly began to gather things he would need as he mother flitted about close by, while he told her what was happening.
"Oh Gaia Shadey..." She whispered while her son was fitting his daggers onto his waist, "Do you think you can find him in time?"
"I have a year, and I have a good bearing, the last place he visited was Bremen, I'll just have to get there and follow the trail. But yes, I do think I can find him in time. Remember Mom, you said it yourself, I have a purpose now. I'll find Liki and his druid friend, and bring them back here." He turned toward her and hugged her tightly.
"Visit Silverfang for me every so often..." He whined lightly as he let go of her, "I love you and her both, I'll get someone to take my place as dock master while I'm gone."
His mom nodded and she managed to smile, "Okay son, you'll find him, I know you will. Just follow the trail of heroism I suppose hehe."

Within the next hour, Shadey boarded a large cargo ship bound for Bremen, crewed by Beasts from the island, they worked hurriedly to get the ship ready to sail, knowing the severity of the situation they were in now. And within another hour, the ship was leaving the port and starting across the sea.
Shadey stood solemnly next to the captain's wheel as the captain expertly kept the ship going with the wind to reach the highest speed possible.
"We'll be at Bremen in about two to three days Shadey." He told the leather clad Fangren. Shadey looked much more like a rogue like he was trained as now, wearing a black leather outfit and the daggers on his waist hanging in holsters.
"Good. As soon as we get there make port, as soon as I find Liki I'll bring him back to Bremen, you and these men are to stay in Bremen till I return with or without him."
"Understood sir, we'll acclimate ourselves to the city and wait for you to return as long as needed."
Shadey nodded silently at that and continued to look out in front of the boat, thinking about just how he was going to actually find Liki once he got to the mainland to start. Either way, he knew he had to find Liki and his Druid companion quickly, else he would lose the first purpose he had ever found in this world.
