Nature's Revenge
#4 of Seeds of Change
Things start to get exciting around the ranch. What will happen next?
...Nature's Revenge...
A low rumbling snore woke Cane from his slumber. His soft wild grass hair lay sprawled out across his mate's thick grass-covered chest. Cane realized he was resting on Stag's muscular chest as if the pectoral muscles were firm grassy pillows. Below him Stag's huge grass-covered torso was slowly rising and falling in a gentle snore that shook the ground like thunder. Cane looked at his mate's handsome face not far from where his head rested and smiled. Stag seemed to grow stronger and mightier every day... Cane felt something inside his softer flexible body shift as Stag moved a little. The thick vine-cock in Cane's ass kept him from moving far from his mate's chest, but the heat of day was waking Stag up regardless.
"Morning handsome," Cane said as Stag sat up despite the weight of his lover on his chest and stomach. Cane found himself in Stag's lap as the hairy green giant groaned and stretched. At this point the thick green hairs had covered most of Stag's upper body. Even his arms were covered in grassy body hair. Unlike Cane's flowery hair Stag's manly body-grass produced spores that helped it spread across his body. The tiny hairs didn't look like anything could stop them from taking over his whole body eventually, but Cane didn't mind if that happened.
"Mmmm, Cane." Stag rumbled as he looked around. His bushy eyebrows and brown hair were nearly all that was left of his human feature. Even Stag's face seemed harder now... sterner and less expressive than normal. Cane on the other hand still looked mostly human, but inside he was hardly human at all. His body was losing organs that he didn't need any more. He only needed nectar from his mate to live, and his photosynthesizing hair made enough energy to keep him moving through the daytime. The hair in question was blossoming at the moment, and that made pollen spread into the air. "Your pollen smells heavenly and sweet," Stag growled as he stood and pulled Cane up with him. Cane hung from his mate's waist like a rag doll, but Cane didn't mind.
Stag was taller now. He was only a few feet shorter than the ten foot water-tree in the middle of the field. Of course, Cane told Stag about the seeds he had shot out last night, but there was no trace of any plants... where had the seeds sprouted? Stag wondered towards the barn and frowned when he noticed a few frightened farm animals huddling around the barn. What he saw next made a low rumbling growl erupt from Stag's chest.
"Leave those animals alone!" Stag thundered in a deep resonating voice. He took long loping strides towards the sacred cows, goats, and sheep, but Cane couldn't see what was happening. When they rounded the barn Cane saw a pack of six wolf-shaped plant beasts growling at a lone cow. "Get away from that poor animal!" Stag growled as he charged the wolves. The beasts seemed confused when they saw the furry lumbering beast charging them, but they scattered enough for the poor cow to escape.
"What are they?" Cane asked nervously as Stag used one of his huge hands to protect Cane.
The wolves, plant or not, circled Stag who growled in a low rumbling voice. The wolves rumbled and growled right back, but Stag was the one who looked confused. "They are... our children..." Stag said in shock. He counted the plant-beasts and groaned. "Six Cane... these are your missing seeds!"
Cane was a little scared when Stag pulled his cock out of Cane and presented the young male to his children. Surprisingly the six wolves seemed pretty docile around Cane. The largest of the plant beasts even let Cane ride him. Cane hadn't been able to ride buddy lately, so riding a plant-wolf was quite fun for him. Stag watched as Cane rode the young wolf. A soft rumble of love made the young wolves look at Stag and then Cane whose long grassy hair was flying in the wind. Pollen, and occasionally flower petals, would float in Cane's wake as he went along. It was a beautiful sight to behold.
When the run was over the young wolf carried Cane back to Stag who impaled the smaller male once again. Cane realized then that Stag was constantly feeding him with his cock. It wasn't like Cane needed to be with him all the time, but a steady flow of nectar kept Cane healthy and relaxed. Cane also noticed the shaggy hanging mossy hair on Stag's new hard balls. The hair was just shaggy enough to hide Cane's legs when he sat on Stag's vine-cock.
Hauling Cane around didn't seem to bother Stag at all, but the large male stayed busy all day. He seemed to be able to turn Cane's cock on at will by adjusting the flow of nectar, sap, and cum to his smaller mate. Stag was interested in feeding the water trees and in turn being watered by them. He also used the ample sunshine to plant some more water-plants around the farm. The whole task of minding the plants was... surprisingly rewarding to both Stag and Cane. Their wolf children attended to their needs, and the young wolves were easily smart enough to do simple tasks that Stag needed.
It was just before noon when two of their wolves let loose warning howls near the house. Stag growled as he ran to the house and then looked around. "No!" Cane whispered from below his mate. "It's mercenaries! They came for you and the seeds!"
Stag growled as his wolf children gathered around him. His mind was racing, and his oaken heart pounding in his thick chest. A low woof signaled his decision to his children... the humans needed to be taught a lesson...
Before Cane knew what was going on Stag had turned on Cane's cock fine. In mere moments a silent signal passed between the two mates and rather quickly Cane's cock began to spasm and shoot thick wads of cum. Four seeds shot from Cane's cock, but they were hardly seeds created from love and compassion. The seeds writhed and twisted when they hit the hard earth. In moments they were twisting through the ground violently.
The plants didn't emerge from the ground, but Stag was concentrating. Cane looked down at his mate's feet and noticed that Stag had roots! His toes had morphed into thick roots and somehow Stag was directing the four seeds growing around him. A growl from Stag told the six wolves to move out. Cane watched as their children raced around towards the house and the humans inside. Screams came from inside the house as the sound of wood splintering came to Cane's ears. Stag's face darkened as he directed the four new plants to burst through the floor of the house and wrap around the humans. In moments the wolves and the guard-vine plants had trapped the humans.
A low groan came from Stag as he concentrated on his feet. Cane looked down at his mate's feet and noticed that Stag's feet had continued to change. Instead of human feet Stag had paws now... canine paws. And his long claws were roots instead of claws. As the roots retracted Stag walked on his new paws into the house. "What the hell?" One of the humans shouted when he saw Stag enter the structure. "You... some kind of plant monster!?"
"You're the monsters here!" Stag rumbled in his low angry voice. "Look at those blast pistols on their belts!" Stag said to his wolf children. "Those weapons can burn and kill anything they touch!"
Stag was so angry, but Cane felt bad for the human. A fragrant flower perfume billowed from Cane as he looked at the entwined humans. "They don't deserve to die Stag... let them go... we can afford to spare them just this once..."
Stag crossed his mighty arms and looked at the humans who seemed confused to hear two voices from the same odd-looking plant monster. "There are four of you, only two may go. You choose who goes free and who stays for yourselves." Stag had made his decision. He disarmed the humans and released them from the vines. While the men decided their fate Stag waited with Cane outside.
"What are you planning Stag?" Cane asked and looked up at his huge muscular lover.
"I want to test something," Stag rumbled. "These humans are neither evil nor good. Maybe they can live with nature in peace? I'll give them that chance if they are willing."
Cane smiled and nodded at Stag. He knew the huge male plant-man knew best, so if Stag said the humans could stay than they could stay. Eventually the leader of the mercs emerged with a shorter guy beside him. "My name is Leon, and this is Kale... we're staying so our friends can be free."
Leon was a stern blond-headed man with bright sky-blue eyes and a rugged handsome face. He looked a lot like Stag had before his transformation had change him, but Leon wore a perpetual frown and a scowl. He seemed to be constantly scanning the area around him, and despite his strong body and obvious combat experience he seemed to almost doubt himself.
Kale was shorter, a little taller than Cane, but obviously a trained merc. His dark brown hair was only slightly brighter than his dark brown eyes. Kale had a softer rounder face that was quick to smile. Unlike Leon, who had a rugged beard, Kale had only a few sparse brown hairs in his mustache. The most attractive thing about Kale was his shoulder length brown hair and his easy smile.
Stag nodded and the wolves allowed the two humans to leave the ranch. When the humans were out of site Stag smiled at the two newcomers. "I'm sure you have some questions about what's going on here. As you can see I am, or once was, a human like you two." Stag explained.
The two men looked at the odd hairy grass growing on Stag's body and frowned. He didn't look that human anymore, but his face and head were still human enough. "What about him?" Kale, the shorter merc, asked and pointed at Cane.
"This is my partner, Cane, and while I have been changing the most lately I assure you that he is also more plant now than human."
Cane's hair blossomed as he nodded at the two humans. They caught a plume of his sweet fragrance, but instead of relaxing them it seemed to make them more nervous. Cane didn't know it, but one whiff of his potent perfume could harden even the straightest man's cock. It was just part of how his biology worked now. "Welcome to my ranch and farm!" Cane said softly. "You're welcome to drink from our water plants and trees."
Both humans seemed surprised when they heard that. "What is a water tree?" Kale asked.
It took a while to show the men the property, and the young wolves kept an eye on the humans the whole time. Once the men were acquainted with the land around the ranch they looked at Stag with confusion on their faces. "Why let us stay here?" Leon asked suddenly. "This is some sort of paradise... we came here to take the seeds away and capture you..."
"That's why I want you to be here," Stag growled. "I want humans to see what nature can give them." One of the wolves returned from the house with a few seeds in its mouth. It gave some seeds to Stag who knelt over the grass and pushed the seeds into the fertile earth. He held his large hairy hand over the seeds and in moments a small plant was sprouting. The small plant grew larger and larger until it was growing into a tree! At this point Stag gestured for Cane to help him. The humans looked on with mute fascination as Cane's vine-cock began to ooze green slime onto the sapling. In a few minutes the tree reached maturity, and then its branches filled with fruit. An apple blossom, which had grown and shed its leaves before the eyes of those assembled, bulged and grew into a vibrant red apple which Stag plucked from the tree and handed to Kale. "Eat it... it's perfectly safe."
Kale nervously sampled the fruit and then smiled at the crisp texture and taste. "It's delicious!"
Skeptically Leon reached up to pluck an apple for himself. He also bit into the fruit and seemed shocked by the taste. Cane and Stag didn't have to eat an apple to know the fruit tasted good. Their connection with the plants and nature told them the tree was vibrant and healthy. The fruit should be delicious.
Eventually the two humans finished their fruit and looked at the apple cores in their hands. Stag smiled and offered to take the cores, but when the men placed them in his hand he simply crushed them to a pulp. The liquid fruit dripped away, but when Stag opened his hands the seeds remained. There were only a few little pips left, but Cane could sense the life inside them.
"Hold out your hands," Stag growled and both men nervously complied.
Stag put seeds into both his hands and then pressed the seeds into the palms of the two humans. Both men gasped when the felt an odd tingling sensation pass through their bodies. Next Stag pulled away and the humans looked at their hands. On the back of each man's hand was a lattice network of tiny green veins. The veins spread quickly until they formed a nearly perfect circle. "What did you do?" Kale asked in shock.
A slow smile crept across Stag's lips. The mighty male rumbled softly as he reached up and picked two more apples from the tree. These he simply crushed to a pulp to extract the pips. "Plant these," Stag said as he dropped the goopy pips into the hands of the two men.
Cane was just as confused as the humans. They were about to plant the seeds in the grass, but Stag growled and pointed at the dried cracked dirt beyond the grass that had grown in this area. Leon rolled his eyes as he and Kale went to the hard dirt and planted their seeds a ways into the hard dirt. The two plant-men followed the humans out into the hard dry dirt beyond the grass. Somehow the sun seemed hotter and angrier out beyond the grass and hydrated earth. The poor seeds didn't fare too well in this earth, but this was where they had been planted, so they would have to grow here. "Hold your hands over the earth and seeds... concentrate on the life in your hands... can you feel it?"
Kale replied first as his eyes shot open. "I... I can feel it! I can!"
"I guess there's something there... dono what the hell it is though..." Leon didn't seem convinced, but he didn't want to anger the green monster watching them.
"These seeds can't control where they are planted," Stag said and shook his head. "You can't control where you are planted either. You are both just like these seeds." Cane watched as Stag closed his eyes and concentrated. The green circles on the two men's hands began to glow with a soft green light, and oddly enough two green shoots shot from the ground. Both men pulled their hands away in surprise as they looked at the plants in shock. "You can't control where you are planted, but you can nurture a plant... encourage it to grow and help it reach maturity." Stag rumbled softly as he looked from the plants to the humans. "When these two sprouts are full-grown trees you two are free to leave. Until then my children will keep you contained to the ranch."
There was a dual groan from the two humans. Stag lumbered back towards the house to do whatever else he thought was important, but Cane remained behind to watch the humans. "Stag really is a sweet and gentle guy when you get to know him," Cane said softly.
Leon crossed his arms and scowled at Cane and then at Kale. Kale was bent over his plant with his eyes closed. "I think it's growing! Is it growing Leon?"
"Fuck off Kale... I knew I should have asked someone else to stay behind!"
"You sound like you don't plan on staying around for long?" Cane asked softly.
Leon frowned at Cane. The smaller plant-man looked human... except for his hair... but he was more human than the beastly giant that had dictated their fates. It was hard to not like someone as cute as Cane too... wait... Leon shook that thought from his head. Cane was NOT cute....
"That Stag guy... he said we could leave when these plants are fully grown right?"
Cane nodded and smiled at the humans.
"Than let's just make them grow faster Leon! Maybe he just wants us to help him grow plants or something?" Kale asked excitedly.
"I don't know..." Cane started to say, but Leon cut him off with a grunt.
"We don't need your help plant-man, and we are not friends." Leon seemed angry that Cane had stuck around.
"Well, You might want to water your sprouts... just a little gardening advice..."
"Oh heck!" Kale said as he frowned and hurried off to find something to carry water in.
...
Cane found his lover and mate in the far field where they had mated the night before. At first Cane sensed that something was wrong, but then he noticed that Stag's long brown hair was gone. As Cane approached Stag sighed, "Cane... you aren't afraid of me are you?"
"Never," Cane said sweetly as he stopped walking towards his mate. "What happened to your hair Stag?"
Stag turned and looked at Cane. As his head came into view Cane noticed thick needles sprouting from his mate's face. The green needles sprouted from Stag's bushy brows and spread from there up his forehead and onto his head. From there the needles grew over his ears and onto the back of his neck. The needles were long and a dark green color. They gave Stag a rugged feral look now that he looked more like their wolf children. "It happened after I put the marks on those men..."
Cane put his hand on Stag's needle studded head and began to pet the long green strands. The needles began to grow and spread as Cane touched them. In moments they were spreading over Stag's face and replacing his facial hair. A thick mane of needles grew on his neck and upper back, spreading onto his shoulders and then down onto his arms and then his hands. The dense needle growth also grew down Stag's back like a thick carpet of long needle-fur. Stag could only growl in pleasure as the sun fed his needle-fur which continued to thicken and spread until it covered most of his exposed skin. What the needles didn't touch the grass-hair did. Before long Stag looked more like a wolf-plant than a human. Only his warm green eyes still looked the same.
"Why?" Stag growled in an inhuman voice. "I'm... a monster..."
"You're beautiful to me," Cane said as he stroked his mate's needles and fur. "I like you better this way..."
Stag growled as he swept Cane into his thick furry arms and wrapped his softer grass-covered under-arms around his mate's delicate form. Cane nuzzled the thick musky grass on his mate's burly earthy chest. "Thanks," Stag growled. "I need you by my side Cane. Being with you makes turning into a plant monster better somehow."
Cane just chuckled as he felt his mate's cock push into his ass. It was time for a long feeding session. Being tucked under the furry mass of his huge mate lulled Cane into a gentle slumber. While he slept Cane's skin began to grow bright green moss that mimicked his mate's mossy groin fur. The moist cool moss kept Cane wrapped and protected from drying out in the harsh hot afternoon heat. Not that Stag would have let it happen, but somehow Stag took comfort in the moss slowly covering his smaller mate. It made him feel like part of something bigger... like there was some sort of end purpose to their crazy transformation.
