Journeyman Wolf

The air was cold this time of year. Not surprising considering that it was late fall and soon the snow would set in. The quiet forest slept while the moon hung high above in the night sky and nothing could be heard other than the shallow breathing from one lone wolf walking through the bramble. The young anthromorph carried himself silently between the trees and into the darkness while focusing on his destination at hand. Sharp, tri-pointed ears swirled as the bitter, freezing wind blew through his short fur making them lower on top of his head. Amber eyes stared through the path the hunter was taking but didn't take in anything in front of him. His inner vision had taken hold and the wolf thought back to the reason he was traversing the dense woods in the dead of night and why he held two weapons on his body and his thick coat of furs around his frame as tight as he could.

It all began two days ago...

Earlier today a young anthromorph wolf had been casually drinking his ale by himself in the local town's tavern while amber eyes searched around for a few prime candidates to entertain for the night. Since he was a stranger to these parts he had plenty of choices as more than one passing fur glanced at him sideways. Unsurprising, considering that the imposing onyx pelted wolf was a self styled hunter and monster slayer and more than a pawful of the townsfolk found themselves enjoying the company of a brave soul who had faced down danger. Something about hearing the stories and adventures that these men and women spun about former exploits enchanted the common folk and made them easy prey for some nightly romps through the bed sheets when they desired to hear more tales better left unheard of in public.

The wolf eyed one particular anthromorph who had been eyeing him for the past ten minutes and couldn't help but lick over his dark lips at the sight of a cute husky canine shyly trying to appear discrete in his on looking. To make sure that his assumptions were true and not just wishful thinking, the hunter swallowed the last of his drink with a few audible gulps but made sure to spill some of his liquor over the rim of his muzzle and down onto his white shirt. The chilled liquid coated the wolf's throat matting down the fur before the warrior sat his mug down on his table with a quiet thump and then wiped a paw over his Adam's apple and licked his wet fingers. Looking out through his peripheral vision, the hunter took careful note of the younger canine's body gestures and the subtle way the other anthromorph tried not to gape at him.

When the young husky accidentally knocked over his plate and then cursed himself the wolf smiled almost evilly in triumph. Picking up his mug and going to the counter where the barkeeper had been rhythmically polishing a silver plate, the wolf looked down at the canine and the smiled at him. The blue and gray furred anthromorph said nothing as he picked his plate up from off of the floor but there was honest fear in his icy blue eyes that spoke of doubt and hesitation.

The word 'virgin' happen to pop into the hunter's mind like a flash of lightning and the wolf's long, supple tail wagged happily as he would soon be filling that ample rump with his cock and initiating the other into male sex. His plan had already been made and soon the hunter opened his mouth to speak to the other.

"Hey," the sound of his own voice was a deep baritone that thrummed throughout the tavern making the barkeep look up for a split second. "are you alright?" he asked feigning ignorance about why the young canine was so nervous.

"Ye-yes, sir. I'm just clumsy, sir." The husky spoke with unfailing submission in his light tenor voice and the wolf guessed that he was about thirteen of fourteen winters old despite being as well muscled and having his fur grown out like a mature adult's.

'Farm hand.' The wolf thought. The smell of hay, horses, and sweat permeated the younger canine's clothing as the wolf took in the other's scent without being obvious about it.

"Do you know of a place where I can get a riding horse around these parts. I'm just passing through on my way to the next town and my own horse died on the way here." It was a white lie considering his horse had been dead for about two weeks now when a chimera had eaten the poor beast alive, but he had been on his way here so it wasn't a total lie.

"Yes, sir. My master sells and fits them at his workshop just past the weapon maker's place. I can take you there if you want, sir." The husky had placed his plate back on the bar top with two silver pieces to pay for his lunch before standing up and going to the door, albeit a little shaky in his steps.

The almost nervous jerks of the canine's tail made the wolf growl low in his throat and he could barely stop himself from pouncing on the other and taking him right here. Probably wouldn't be so bad considering that the barkeep had been watching him with a gleam in his own eyes that bespoke lust and a certain perverse need that the hunter knew all to well. Oh the wolf wasn't one of those who liked to mess around with children or preadolescents, but the strapping young canine before him was perfect for his needs at the moment. Looking at the tight form fitting jeans the husky was wearing, the wolf could almost make out every curve of the young anthromorph's ass. Even the slight way the other's tail was waving about almost invitingly made the hunter want to hungrily sink his fangs into the younger canine's rear.

'Down boy. Better not scare him away like some of the past toys or else you'll be spending the evening with your paws, again.' The wolf thought unpleasantly. He had to really get some ass soon because the pads of his paws were starting to get all too familiar with his sheath, not good for someone his age.

"Well alright then boy. Lead me to your master's workshop." The husky nodded with rapt energy before opening the door going out of the tavern shadowed by the wolf.

Both canines walked through the dusty streets of the quiet town without a word as the hunter noticed that he had once again lost to the sun rising to its zenith. It was unprofessional considering his line of work but it was just part of who the wolf was. He had never liked getting up before dawn like some other adventures and preferred to spend as much time as he could beneath the soft feel of his bed sheets. Staring at the back of the young canine in front of him, the hunter guessed that the boy's master had sent him to eat lunch before going back to work for the day.

'Probably needing the energy if he has to work shoeing horses.'

When both wolf and dog had gotten to the small workshop just a ways from the tavern, the hunter perked his ears and listened to the sounds of fire crackling and someone pounding a hammer across an anvil. The steady beat of metal against metal made the wolf think back to his younger days when he had been an apprentice blacksmith. Those fond memories made a smile blossom across his black muzzle before being shaken away in place of a tight and controlled smirk. When the husky opened the front door of the workshop he immediately called for his master who stopped what he was doing to come out from the back room.

The wolf felt his fur stand on end as he noticed the 'master' of the workshop and he felt his paw stray to his hidden knife behind his back underneath his shirt. The anthromorph in front of him was a towering, overly muscled tiger with a scar over his left jade eyes sealing it close. The single line of torn flesh was a sign that the man before him was a warrior but not just any warrior but a slaver; the lowest of the low men that walked the earth taking others from their homes and turning them into over haulers for rich nobles who had money to throw away. The hunter had crossed more than a few in his life and all meetings had ended up with him gaining new scars along his body and a few sleepless nights being on guard for his life.

"Master! This man says he needs a horse for his travels!" the husky exclaimed with his tail wagging rapidly behind him. The bulky tiger looked from his apprentice to the hunter and clutched onto his hammer in a tighter grip. Both males stared at one another for a few moments before the tiger snorted and turned away from both anthromorphs heading back into the room he had came from.

"Bring him to the stables. I'll be there in a minute." The husky nodded to no one and then raced from the front room to another back door while waving for the wolf.

The hunter eased his paw from back and then straightened himself before following the young canine out back. It looked like he may not have to spill blood after all on this day, at least in this town, it would seem for the moment.

When the two canines had gone back into the stables the wolf whistled low at the sight of the prime stallions. All of them were in top condition and were more than capable of handling the journeys he had to undertake in his line of work. Looking each and every one of the fourteen horses over, the wolf made a mental note of the ones he would like to purchase from the tiger. Of course he couldn't just openly say which he wanted because the horseshoe fitter would end up charging him double the animal's worth. Not that he couldn't pay whatever amount the tiger chose to charge him but he wasn't as freehearted with his earnings as some of his brother and sister hunters. He liked sleeping in beds instead of the hard earth whenever he could instead of wasting all of his money on fine company and ale, both of which the wolf could and did get for free.

"So which beast can I offer you journeyman?" the booming voice of the tiger called from the other end of the stables.

Still weary of being too close to the other anthromorph, the wolf chose to keep a five foot distance from the other while surveying each stallion with both his eyes and his paws.

"I need a horse that will last a long time in the wilds without needing too much care. One that will be able to run when I need to go without fail and one that has more than a little brains. A stupid beast will be a dead beast where I travel." The hunter said clinically. He had had one too many horses in his profession to be slowly eaten or quickly devoured by whatever it was that he was hunting and had long decided to keep a withdrawn attitude towards the animals. He would care for them as he would his weapons but he knew not to get attached because anything could and would happen out in the field.

"I see. Well the only two who would be good for you are either Swift Wind or Ivory." The tiger said nodding towards the two animals that were eyeing the anthromorphs silently.

"How much for either?" The hunter asked when he turned to gaze at both animals.

"Swift Wind will be one hundred gold and Ivory will be one hundred and fifty gold pieces."

"Why so much?"

"Both are young and experienced when it comes to travel and hauling loads and both are well trained to obey without fail. It took a lot of time and effort to train both beasts and the care and grooming of them doesn't come cheap."

The wolf looked at the tiger and laid a careful gaze on the larger man's scarred face before nodding. He understood what the anthromorph meant but he chose not to comment. If that was the case then negotiating a cheaper price was out of the question. Blood had been spilled to get these two stallions and the history behind them ran deep.

"Why so much more for Ivory?" Questioned the hunter as he patted the white stallion on his side getting a quiet whinny for his troubles.

"Ivory has a special talent that Swift Wind doesn't." The tiger clipped.

"He's part unicorn then." It was more of a statement than a question.

The tiger rumbled a throaty growl but said nothing more. The wolf nodded and then went to pet the white four-legger on his snout while making the horse snuff the black lupine's arm to learn the newcomer's scent. Smiling at the beast the wolf made his decision.

"I'll pay you two hundred gold pieces for Ivory. I need him fitted and shoed by this afternoon so that I can ride by latter on today." The hunter ordered while looking at the tiger.

The bigger anthromorph nodded and looked to his apprentice.

"You heard the man. Go and get everything ready, boy."

The husky, who had all but been ignored until this point, nodded and ran into the backroom to prepare the tools for the shoeing. The wolf and tiger watched him leave and then stared at each other for a moment before turning away. The deal had been made and there was nothing else to it. The wolf patted his new steed on the head once more and then left to get the tiger's money from his room above the tavern.

By the time the sun had started to dip into the west the town was bustling with activity as anthromorphs of every species moved about their daily lives. The hunter had returned to pay the tiger for his work after checking on the horse and then saddled the beast up in preparation for his departure. There was only one way to see if the other scarred feline's acclaims were true and that was to field test the stallion. If his claims were accurate then the wolf was going to see this 'special talent' the half unicorn had. If found to be useful then the wolf would deposit another fifty gold coins on the tiger's doorstep later on tonight.

Making his way out of the stables with his steed's reigns in paw, the wolf looked around for the husky. He hadn't forgotten about his other needs and would be back either way to take care of them. Licking his lips the wolf was definitely going to fulfill his other desires with that cute rump and his thickening sheath was a testament to the effect. Hoping on the white horse after leaving the town's gates, the wolf clicked his fangs together and then snapped the reigns in his paws. The stallion rose up with a loud neigh and then both were off.

Hours later found the wolf riding back into town with his body tense and Ivory huffing hard in fear. Just an hour before the hunter had ridden his steed hard and fast into the plains of the wild a few miles away from town to test the prowess and stamina of his newly bought stallion. To say the least the tiger had been right and the animal was worth every coin of gold that he had paid for him. Speed, agility, jumping power, and obedience were at their peek and the wolf felt that he was ready to test the beast's ability. When both anthromorph and animal had gone far enough the wolf pulled on the reins to call the horse to a stop before checking around him for any innocent bystanders.

When the area was secure the hunter chanted the words the tiger had relayed to him earlier today and the watched as the stallion rose up onto his hind legs and then stamped down hard. The ground shook and clouds billowed into the sky before green bolts of lightning rained down around them. The emerald strands of electricity hit the earth filling the area with the smell of ozone and then the wolf looked around him to inspect the damage when the streams of electricity had halted cascading down.

"Holy shit." Against his nature the hunter swore loudly but he couldn't help himself as he noted the damage done. Two feet deep and five feet around the earth was burnt and blackened where the bolts had hit. Hopping down from his mount, the hunter crept over to the small craters and held his paw over the magic created scar.

His fur prickled since the ground was still charged from where it had been hit and tingles ran up the black wolf's arm as he waved his paw back and forth to get a good feel of the damage done. Once satisfied, the hunter turned to look at his steed and then went over to pat the beast on his snout. The horse licked the wolf's face with its broad tongue but the hunter was hesitant to chastise the creature. Instead he pulled out an apple he had been saving from behind his back and fed it to the animal. No prompting need, the stallion ate the red treat easily and then neighed happily at its master.

Patting the animal on his haunches and the hauling himself up on top of the stallion, the wolf clicked his fangs and the both took off again. They road for a few more miles until the sun began to set into the sky and then headed back for town through the forest but were halted in their journey by three brigands baring their path.

"Give up the horse and your money or else." One bandit said. He was a small gray mouse wrapped in torn clothing carrying a massive broadsword and being flanked by two large dogs covered in the same ratty looking clothing, waving blades of their own.

'So it looks like the townsfolk were right about their being bandits in the woods. Guess I'll have to dispatch them after all.' The wolf hopped down from Ivory's back and then drew his sword from his sheath on his hip.

The three bandits understood the challenge at hand and charged together at the wolf. The standard practice of banditry is to gang up on a single person with everything you've got have in hopes of scaring them into hesitating and then overpowering them with basic force. That's why the average anthromorph was robbed so easily. That was also why the average warrior could dispatch bandits with great ease. Once you know how someone will react the you can predict how to counter their movements without too much effort.

The wolf steadied himself as the bandit trio came rushing up towards him with his sword drawn at his side. He waited and waited and waited until all three were within two arms length of him and then he arced his sword in a half circle which caused the two dogs, who had over taken the mouse with their longer strides, to stumble into the mouse and bowl him over. When all three were down on the ground the hunter walked over to the prone figures and then disarmed them with a swift kick to their paws knocking their weapons far enough away to be inaccessible. When their weapons were out of reach the bandits looked up into the cool amber eyes of the lupine anthromorph and then began to shiver in fear. Drawing his blade up the wolf held his sword high into the air over his head while staring down at the three thieves.

The glint of the metal shown in the light of the waning sun and the bandits looked up just in time to see the edge of the sword cascade down at them before slamming their eyes shut.

"Tough bandits aren't ready to die yet?"

Cautiously opening their eyes the two dogs and mouse looked at the edge of the sword's blade pointed directly at them. The silver shine of the weapon was inches from the mouse's nose and he stared at it cross-eyed before looking up at the wolf.

"Don't worry. I'm not going to kill you but I am going to make you pay for what you do. Don't you know how hard it is earn money for most people and you just want to come along and take it from them and think there aren't any consequences? Well I'm going to show you what happens when you do bad things to others." The wolf went back to Ivory's side and got out a coil of rope from the saddlebags before tossing it at one of the dogs.

"You, tie them up." The hunter barked at the malamute who was on top of his two companions. The larger canine got up hesitantly and then looked at the wolf and then to the sword in his paws.

"Don't get smart or else I will kill you." The threat was clear and the malamute did as he was told once his fallen brethren were up off the ground.

When the other dog, a German Shepherd, and mouse were tied up the wolf made the malamute put his paws behind his back and then got back on Ivory before hauling the three brigands off behind him. The wolf made the white horse walk at a steady and even pace before stopping and looking back on his captives. For supposed highwaymen the three of them were not up to physical activity as they were huffing and panting like mad. After he found a suitable place to stop and let Ivory rest up and drink, the wolf made the two dogs and mouse walk over to a nearby tree and stand together.

"Thought you weren't going to kill us." The mouse stated while trying to hold back a whimper from spilling out of his throat.

"Oh I'm not going to kill you. I'm just going to make you guys realize what it's like to have your entire future resting at the whim of another." The hunter tied his hostages against a large oak tree and then sheathed his sword.

When he had looked the three males over the wolf stripped himself out of his clothes and then went over to the river Ivory was drinking from. Washing himself down and letting the cool water soak into his sleek black fur, the wolf made sure to clean himself off from head to toe tip before shaking himself off and going back to his captives. Stretching his muscles out from all the kinks he had accumulated today the hunter opened his muzzle in a loud yawn before smiling down at the mouse.

"So, are you the leader of these two dogs here?"

"What if I am?" The rodent challenged.

"Well then I would get into a long conversation about the when, why, and how you three became bandits but I'll just find out for myself through alternative means." Taking hold of the mouse's neck the wolf looked into the smaller anthromorph's eyes. Instantly his amber orbs shown with an eerie light and soon images poured from the mouse's head into his own.

When he had seen enough the hunter pulled back and tsked at the three of them. Pour bastards didn't deserve their lot in life but that's just how the Fates passed out the cards. Well at least he could do something to get them out of their profession before it killed them. After all, the three of them were only in their twentieth winter of life and that was too young in the wolf's opinion to end up dead on a blade's end but it would be their destiny otherwise. The hunter moved away from the mouse who was refusing to look him in the eye.

"Don't be ashamed. If you didn't do those things you'd be dead now. It doesn't give you the right to turn to banditry but I understand. However, you still have to pay for what you've done. And I think I know the perfect way to punish you."

Looking at the shepherd and the malamute the wolf chose the malamute to release from the tree, of course he went back to get his sword first, just incase. When the large dog was free he rubbed his wrist and then looked at the sword that was tapped against his nose.

"Strip." At the dog's confused look the wolf sighed.

"Take off your clothes or else I'll cut them off with my sword and I can't promise not to strike fur and bone. Got it?" The growl in the hunter's voice spurned the larger canine to shuck off his clothes.

When the taller anthromorph was naked the wolf looked over at the broad muscles and light gray and white fur highlighting all over the other canine's body with an appreciative eye.

"Alright then stud, take off your friends clothes around their bindings." At this three sets of eyes stared at him in horror but the wolf could only smirk as he held power, and his sword, over the three bandits. Poking his weapon into the malamute's back he hurried the other on.

Once the other anthromorphs were naked the wolf eyed them an noticed that of the two dogs, the shepherd was the most muscular, even more so than the malamute and that all three were unwashed for the past couple of days. There was an odor coming from their bodies and their clothing that made the wolf crinkle his nose in disgust but he understood what it was like to not have the luxury of a bath or a safe place to bathe. Soon that would change...

"Alright then, Cain," the Malamute looked at the wolf with surprise but hunter waved his questions off. "I want you to feel up your friends their like you used to. You know how I mean." The malamute shivered as he remembered those times when he used to have to do things like that before he became a free anthromorph. Looking at his two comrades, Cain stared blankly at them before reaching out and stroking the mouse and shepherd.

Both bandits moaned at the rough feel of the paw pads on their sheaths and did their best not to hump into the experienced malamute's strokes. It was hard, as Cain had spent a good few years leaning the ways to pleasure others and when the dog rubbed both of their balls into his palm they couldn't help but to groan and murr at their comrade's ministrations. Meanwhile, the wolf was happily watching what was going on and lowered his sword back to his side but kept it in hand.

"Good boy. Now why don't you take both of their sheaths into your mouth and get them off. It's what you've done in the past since," the hunter moved right so that his muzzle was close to the malamute's ear that his fangs could touch the soft furred skin. " you know that you've done it before when they were both asleep." Cain gasped as his secret, the one he had been hiding from both of his friends for so long, had been revealed and started to stop his stroking until the hunter growled into his ears.

"Do it, bitch." The barked as he snapped at the dog's ears.

Cain nodded obediently and did as commanded. Slowly sinking to his knees the malamute sniffed and nuzzled first the shepherd's sheath and then the mouse's. He had never tried this while both were awake since he couldn't let them know he still liked raising his tail up for others because it was just wrong since both of them had been enslaved before and forced to do such things against their will but now...

The wolf couldn't help the lecherous smile that split his muzzle. He knew that Cain had wanted to do this ever since the mouse and shepherd had freed him from the slavers some five winters back but never had the nerve. Apparently, rodents were light sleepers. Watching as the gray and white muscle bound dog sucked the mouse's sheath into his muzzle while still fondling the shepherd, the wolf didn't resist when his own sheath swelled and his cock began to rise up for attention. Still keeping one paw on the sword the wolf reached out with his other hand to grasp himself and stroke his member.

'This is going to be good.' The hunter thought lecherously.

Cain sucked on the mouse's cock, which was bigger than he had thought in the light of day, until the entire eight inches were out of its holder and pulsing with life. Placing his lips over his fangs the malamute sucked off the rodent until he was bucking into the back of the dog's throat. Controlling his gag reflex until he could breath around the length in his mouth the dog used his former skills to make his friend come close to his climax.

"Don't forget about your other comrade. He's whimpering like a female for that tight throat of yours to suck him down." The malamute dazedly retracted himself from the rodent's cock and then went over to Axel's groin and began nuzzling the other dog's package.

Where their mouse friend was large for his size Axel was at the point of being gargantuan. Eighteen inches of shepherd cock rose up from out of the brown and chocolate sheath into the air and waved in front of the malamute's face. A drop of pre come splattered over the gray and white canine's face and nose making him snuffle and lick as far as he could reach over his snout to get to the tasty bitter fluid. Not concerning himself with his own well being the dog opened his muzzle and swallowed the entire cock down to the knot. He chocked and felt his eyes water but Cain didn't relent, he had waited too long and right now he was taking what being thrust into him. Axel's hips weren't still and at the first touch of his friend's tongue against his needy dick as he hefted his hips upwards to get farther into that warm, tight throat.

The hunter growled as he witnessed the malamute sucking down that fat and long cock into his mouth and dropped his sword to the ground with a quiet thump while stroking his own cock. The wolf knew that it was a bad idea but then again he had a fair idea that the three bandits wouldn't turn on him, right now anyway. Running his paws over his slimy cock coated in his inner sheath juices the hunter growled and split his muzzle in a fierce grin. Fangs parted as the wolf ran his tongue across his mouth erotically before turning his attention to the three bandits.

Cain had his head far down Axel's cock until he could lick the shepherd's balls while squeezing the mouse's cock. The larger canine growled in the ropes holding him against the tree while humping hard as he could into his friend's throat to get enough sensation to climax. He could feel it so close now as more and more pre ran up his cock and into Cain's mouth and down into his belly. A few more thrusts and he would be finished and then he could find his release, but just as he was about to spill his load the malamute pulled off from his length and turned back to their other friend's cock. Growling and snapping like a feral, the shepherd tried to get free so that he could get that sweet throat around his dick again.

The mouse nearly cried when he was swallowed down to the roots and gasped as his balls were crushed into the dog's paws with just enough force to hurt. Not wanting to injure his friend Cain flexed his fingers and massaged the mouse before puling back up and nibbling on his cock tip. The slight folds of the mushroomed head slid perfectly against his fangs and the down once again into his throat.

It was at that time that the wolf saw that his plan was coming into full fruition that he decided to chance something. Stopping his paws from pulling against his cock, the hunter picked up his sword and went over to the shepherd. The canine was livid with lust, as he struggled against his bonds wanting to bury himself into the malamute's muzzle until he chocked that he snarled and snapped at air. Drool ran down to the ground below to the shepherd's feet and the wolf had to admit to himself just how much he was enjoying this.

"Want to get him? Want to breed him just like the bitch he is?" Axel nodded furiously while not paying attention to the sword pointed at him or the wolf's croons in his ears. "Then why stop at his mouth? See his tail wagging to be bred? See that pink rose wanting to blossom around your cock?" Another quick nod from the shepherd.

"Then go and get it!" The wolf shouted before cutting the ropes tying Axel to the oak tree before being pushed down by the overly aroused canine.

Not bothering to care about the wolf's well being, the shepherd rushed over and gripped the sides of the malamute's waist and then drove himself into the other's rear. There was no grace or mercy shown for the other dog as the large canine tore into his tailhole with abandon. Eighteen inches of shepherd cock sunk into the depths of the malamute's backside until his inflating knot kissed the other bandit's tail end. Cain let out a shrill yelp around the mouse's cock before having the eight inch length push down to the back of his throat causing him to cough and gag. On his knees, there in the middle of the forest, the malamute was taken by both of his comrades, as he had always wanted. There was little love in the act just the bare need of three anthromorphs fueled with lust.

The wolf growled at the sight and went back to his stroking before looking at the shepherd's tail. The long, luxurious appendage taunted the lupine until he could barely stop himself from reaching out and taking the canine pounding into his friend. But he did, he wasn't apart of this equation and wouldn't intervene with the three friends. The hunter continued stroking himself off until his knot burst from inside of his sheath and jets of pre come shot out of his pointed tip over the grass underneath his feet.

Cain was in heaven and hell as he was taken like he had been before, so long ago. Not wanting this all to end and then go back to the way things had been the malamute used all of his prior skills to prolong the experience last. Making his tailhole relax against the thrusts of that larger shepherd caused the fat bulb at the end of Axel's cock to push for entrance into him. The size of the other dog's length was massive and hurt as it delved inside but compared to the apple wide knot kissing his backdoor, it was nothing. Cain knew that it would hurt since Axel wasn't going at a slow pace or with ease but he didn't care. He had been raped in the past so this was nothing but a tender lovemaking in contrast to then.

Axel was slathering drool from his muzzle and onto the back of his bitch's neck as his thrust deeper into the one below him. Sight, scent, and feel all indicated that the one below his was his friend and he shouldn't be doing this but when that ass opened up and he drilled his cock all the way into Cain's back end he couldn't stop, wouldn't stop until he bred the other. Lowering himself down and raising his tail into the air the shepherd put more force into his staccato humping. Fangs poised from behind his lips until they glittered in the waning light Axel opened his muzzle wide and then snapped down onto Cain's scruff.

The mouse didn't know which way was up anymore as he lolled his tongue from his mouth and rolled his eyes into the back of his head. While he had been a slave before he had not been a pleasure slave so having sex was often with a female, in the back woods, somewhere quick when possible. Even then the females wouldn't suck on him and their twats were often wet and gamy from use, but Cain's throat was hot as a furnace and smooth like wet silk without feeling discomforting. Panting and thrusting up into the dog's mouth the rodent felt himself tipping over the edge and he liked it, he liked it a lot.

Cain had tears coming from his eyes as he was taken from both ends and soon his own cock was twitching and splattering pre come against the ground underneath him. The pain in his neck was sweet and just what he needed to tighten up his tailhole when Axel's knot breached his insides. With the other canine inside of his anus, jabbing at his tailhole with frantic humps, Cain counted down until the shepherd would come. He made sure to suckle on the mouse's length with more fervor to get both of their loads of cum at the same time.

The wolf didn't know that things would end up this erotic or perverted. However, the three brigands needed this to stop them from stealing from others and once they cemented their relationship with one another they would be perfect for him to use. Feeling his body rock with need and then his hips raise up into his paws the hunter stopped himself from cumming by letting go of his dick. The ten inch red tool beat in time with his heart and spurted strands of pre come on the ground but slowly slowed down to a dull throbbing that made the hunter whimper and groan. He would need that pent up frustration for a certain husky boy later on tonight. Going back to watching the others, the wolf growled as his nose was swamped up by the smell of rut and come.

Axel bit down as hard as he could into Cain's neck and then thrust his hips once more before howling around the fur in his mouth. His balls had drawn up to his sheath and then his knot expanded to its full length as his come soaked into the malamute's anus. He had so long been without a climax that the amount of seed spilled out past the seal his bulb made on onto his sheath and down his legs. There was so much that when he humped a few more times Axel looked down to see that Cain's belly distend just a bit. A cruel smirk played on the shepherd's face as his eyes darkened in dominance.

The mouse jerked around the roped holding his and made one final thrust before filling his comrade's throat with his sperm. While not as pent up as Axel had been he had a big enough load to make Cain's Adam's apple gulp when he fed the malamute his seed.

Cain clenched his eyes when his stomach began to fill up from the two helpings of come flooding into him from both ends before his cock gave a jerk releasing his seed. Seven thick and creamy streams of sperm shot out onto the ground under the malamute until there was a large pool directly below him and the canine had just enough strength of mind to look down to see the mess he had made before he passed out. Letting the mouse's cock drop from his lips the malamute slumped down but didn't hit the mess he had made.

Axel kept a tight hold onto his friend's body with his fangs and then tried to lift himself backwards before two strong arms wrapped around the shepherd's body reeling them both back until he was sitting on his haunches. Freeing his teeth from around Cain's neck the larger dog turned around just as a wet tongue licked over his nose causing the bandit stare into playful amber eyes. Gasping and trying to get away the shepherd was unsure what would happen to him but a few more licks across his snout settled him down and then Axel blinked confusedly. Canine instincts said that the wolf wouldn't hurt him and was trying to comfort him but the more rational side of his mind said that it could be a trick. Not sure what to do and with his friend held into his arms and by his knot Axel bowed his head in submission before raising his neck up into the lupine's jowls.

The hunter smirked at Axel's antics and then took the scruff of the shepherd's neck into his jaws and biting down lightly but with less pressure than the other canine had used on Cain. When the scent of the other spoke of nothing but compliance the wolf released the dog and then began licking over his face again. The taste of unwashed fur made him retch a bit but nonetheless the wolf kept it up until the other two bandits began to come around.

"Nice to see you two in the land of the living again. Have fun?" The mouse said nothing but his cheeks were bright red underneath his gray fur while Cain's own head was turned away in shame.

A steady paw reached over and turned the malamute's face upwards to face amber eyes and the dog was held deep by the look of compassion and dominance within them.

"I won't condemn you for this. More so I'm glad that you did. Now you know that your friend's care for you just like you do for them and that you can have this pleasure again when you sleep with them at night. That's what you wanted, right?" Cain thought for a moment and licked his lips at the taste of the mouse's seed on his palate before nodding and barking.

"See. And what about you Axel? Would you want to go back to not breeding your friend again or would you rather stuff his tailhole sometime again later on?" It didn't take the shepherd long decide that and he immediately nuzzled into Cain's neck fur and licked at the malamute's snout.

"And as for you Maverick. What do you want? Want to go back to stealing from other's again or would you rather find another line of work?"

"What work? Who'd hire two dogs that don't know how to speak and a mouse who can't write a word?" The rodent shouted with tears framing his eyes.

"I will. You work for me and I'll see you get paid and fed." The wolf held a deep conviction in his eyes that made all three bandits looks up at him in wonder.

"Yo-you'd hired us? You'd keep us out of the cold and in clothes?" Maverick could barely believe what he was hearing as he looked at the wolf.

"You have my word. Work for me and you'll be safe, fed, and never have to steal again. But you will have to do what I say when I say it without fail. I won't have you stealing from others behind my back. Do you agree to this?"

Maverick looked at Cain and Axel and both canines nodded at him in glee. While they had never been taught to speak or write or read they understood others very well. It might have been a canine thing but both dogs wanted to trust the wolf who had breached the wall between them. Sighing, the mouse agreed.

"Good then. Once you two are free from your tie I want you to..."

An earth splitting roar made the four anthromorph's look up. The three bandits huddled into themselves and shivered while the hunter's hackles rose.

"What...was...that?"

"That was a monster that's been living in this area for a while now. He's been terrorizing and killing up a lot of people that come near his den. We've avoided him for a while but he's been getting more and more violent lately." Maverick squeaked while trying to back further into the tree he was held against.

'Holy shit. That means that...'

"Where's its den?"

"About three miles from here in a set of caves set in the mountains. We always make sure to stay away from there but he sounds really close now."

"Axel pull out of Cain and get your clothes and blade back on. Maverick get your and Cain's things and put them on and then follow me back to town." The wolf said after cutting the ropes constricting the rodent and then grabbing up his sword and walking to a frightened Ivory.

"Town!?"

"Don't worry I'll keep you safe like I promised. Just don't say anything when you get there and do exactly as I say, alright?" the three former bandits nodded and then did as instructed with Cain yelping a bit as his tailhole was stretched out by Axel's still somewhat engorged knot.

When they were ready the hunter made his way through the forest back to the settlement with three passengers guarding him from the rear. The trio had garnished their blades and were looking around for danger. The wolf kept a tight frown on his muzzle as he thought and planned around the event that had just transpired. When all four had gotten into town the wolf rode in casually while watching the townspeople's reactions to his new charges. No one seemed to act hostile but only time would tell and time was the one thing against the hunter right at this moment.

Back at the tavern the wolf had ushered the trio into his room and then went down to pay the barkeeper for several more night's stay and use of the underground baths. There was a small hot spring that rabbit used for his more high paying customers to insure that they would come back again soon. When the barkeep took the money he nodded to him and then went up to get his new companions settled in. The shepherd and malamute were quietly sitting on the bed when he got up there while the mouse was watching the town outside of the window.

"Alright, I want you to give me your clothes and then follow me to the bathing area. I'm going to get you some new clothing and then come back for you in about thirty minutes. Stay in the baths until I get back, understand?" All three nodded and did as told and the wolf had to fight to keep from retching at the smell of the soiled rags in his paws. After watching the three males go into the hidden stairwell that led to the bathing area he set off to see if the tailor was still up.

Getting back just as the sun set for the day the wolf went to find that his instructions had been met and the three anthromorphs were still in the steaming waters. It was rather cute how they were playing around with one another, well the two dogs were playing and Maverick was just laughing at them that the wolf knew that he had made the right choice to try and save them from an ill begotten fate. It was just like when that man had saved him way back when he was found walking the streets from a monster attack...

Shaking his head, the hunter decided not to dwell and get his companions out before the barkeeper decided to charge him more silver for the bathing. He would take a bath later on tonight when he had settled these three in for the day.

"Alright, everybody out. I've got towels and clothes for you so don't shake." The wolf pointedly spoke to Axel and Cain in general who looked somewhat abashed.

Drying off with the large wraps of cotton, the former brigands found that they liked the feeling of being clean and even more the feeling of fresh clothes on their backs. Looking up at the wolf with appreciation Maverick remembered something very important right then.

"What's your name?" The wolf was startled to hear the innocent question, as it had been a long time since someone cared to ask. Most just called him by his title of hunter but since he had been asked...

"Artemis."

When the wolf had inspected the others to make sure that their clothes fit he grabbed up their towels and then headed back for his room. When inside, the wolf looked at the small bed and then the trio before sighing.

"It's okay. We can sleep on the floor, we've slept on worse, eh?" Maverick looked to Axel and Cain who both nodded and Artemis heart bled bit. No one should have to sleep like animals just because of circumstances, but he understood that in life, things happen.

"I'll go get some more blankets and then you guys should go to sleep and keep your weapons by your side, just in case." That was a hard learned lesson but the wolf knew it was needed in times likes these.

Leaving out and then coming back with the blankets in his paws, Artemis watched as the three anthromorph's settled down together in a structured order with Axel and Cain nestling Maverick between them and then shifting so that their tails laid over the mouse before going to sleep. Leaving out and closing the door with a quiet thump, Artemis made his way down to see the barkeeper one last time tonight.

Sitting down on a barstool, the wolf waited until the rabbit looked up from what he was doing and then both males stared at one another.

"You know that those men are thieves right." It was clear that there wasn't a question in that statement.

"They'll behave themselves, you have my word. Now what I want to know is about that monster." With his face set into a frown the wolf began his interrogation.

"What do you want to know?"

"Why's no one called anyone to do something about it?"

"We're a little town with not a lot of money so we can't afford a hunter much like yourself around here."

"You're sentencing yourself to death then. When winter comes and that monster can't find food this town will be on its menu. But you already know that."

"Was there a question in there?"

"What it is?"

"A wyvern. About thirty feet long and as big as five men."

"What can it do?"

"Mostly roar and charge. Never seen it up close but so far it doesn't seem as bad as a dragon could be. Just big and mean as all hell."

"Has anyone ever gone after it?"

"Only one man and that was the horse shoe maker, Randal."

"The tiger with the scar, right?"

"Yep."

"How'd he fair?"

"Not good. Laid up for a while but the beast thought twice about coming out of his cave for after that."

"Does anyone around here sell tridium?"

"...I know someone. Charges ten gold a bottle."

"When can you get me some?"

"Tomorrow."

The wolf three down sixty gold coins from his coin purse and then looked the rabbit in the eye.

"You'll have it tomorrow around noon. You get rid of that beast and you and those three will be welcome here forever, whenever." The rabbit said after hauling the gold coins into his pocket.

"I thank you. Also, who around here needs hands to work?"

"Only old Randal but he's stubborn about who he hires to help him but that boy he has can only do so much."

"Will he take apprentices?"

"Have to ask him."

The wolf glared at the rabbit.

"Fine. I'll ask him. Just get rid of that damned monster."

Artemis nodded and then went back up to his room. Knocking on the door in a specific fashion he opened up the entranceway and then crept inside. Watching his charges sleep so soundly made the wolf smile. He would never have cubs since he was both a tailraiser and sterile but he would do whatever he could to help those less fortunate than he had been. He owed it to the man that had saved him time and again when he needed it.

"Isaac." Artemis murmured before going over to his bed and curling under the sheets for sleep.

When dawn's light came through the window the hunter snapped awake when warm breath oozed over his muzzle. Slowly reaching under his pillow for his knife Artemis kept his breathing even until he grabbed the hilt of the blade. Making himself ready the wolf was about to strike out when someone licked him on the face. Opening his amber eyes the hunter saw who it was and laughed.

"Good morning Alex." The shepherd panted happily at the wolf before licking him on the snout again and then pointing to his stomach. The larger canine's tail was wagging around insistently letting Artemis know just how much the shepherd wanted breakfast.

"Hungry, I see. Alright wake the others and then lets go down to eat."

Doing as commanded the canine pounced on his friends startling them awake. The other two anthromorphs growled at their overly excited companion but it was in good gestured annoyance rather than anger. The mouse was the first to really wake up as he reached his arms over his head and yawned showing off his blunt, flat teeth before closing his mouth while licking his lips. Cain stretched out on the floor in a true canine fashion with his rear raised into the air and his front carried low to the floor before shaking the blankets off and then scratching behind his ears with his hind leg before rising up from the floor and looking at Artemis.

When everyone was up and ready, Artemis led the former bandits out of the room and downstairs. Down in the tavern anthromorphs were coming in and taking their places at the tables before ordering something to eat. Following their lead, the hunter waved the trio over to a nearby table and then waited for the barkeeper to come take their order. Instead of the rabbit the wolf was surprised to see the young husky boy he had met a day before coming up to him.

"Good morning. What can I do t...for you, boy?" Artemis asked with a slight grin on his black muzzle.

"My master wants to speak with you later on this morning. He said it was urgent and that you should come as soon as possible."

There was a nervousness surrounding the young canine that made Artemis scowl before coughing and staring up at the other with a friendly smile.

"Tell him that I will be with him as soon as we've eaten." It was then that the husky noticed that he was being watched by three sets of eyes. Taking a step back the young dog nodded to the wolf and then left out of the tavern as fast as he could without running.

Artemis didn't take much stock in the canine's departure as he was sure that seeing him being surrounded by rather roguish looking anthromorphs was intimidating within itself. Not many common folk took to well to the harsher seeming types whenever they blew through town and tried to keep a safe distance until the strangers left. Looked like the husky was just like everyone else in that respect.

'Oh well. One problem at a time. Eat first then go see Randal.' When the rabbit barkeep came up to him and asked for his order the wolf called for stew all around. The two dogs and mouse didn't see any reason to counter his request, as they would probably be grateful for anything hot filling their bellies.

'Well, hot food anyway.' The wolf mentally chuckled at his lewd joke.

When the stew was brought around the former brigands ate ravenously and looked to their new friend in a silent plea for seconds when they cleaned out their bowls. Not minding the hunter told the barkeep to keep it coming until everyone at the table was full. After having their third and final helping the wolf paid for the meal and then ushered the trio out of the tavern and down the road to the husky mater's workshop.

"Aye? Who's there?" the loud voice of the larger anthromorph rang out making Axel, Cain, and Maverick shiver and huddle closer to each other behind Artemis after all four males had entered the shop. The wolf just smiled to reassure them.

"It's me." The wolf kept himself in check as he looked into that single jade eye glaring down at him.

"Oh, you. I see you brought others this time." The tiger stated casually but kept a watch out from his peripheral vision.

"You needed something right?"

"Come 'round back so we can talk. Send your entourage in the stables so that they can help out the boy." Artemis got the gist of what was going on and herded the dogs and mouse into the back room where the husky from before met them.

"Alright you three, just do whatever he says and stay out of trouble until I get back, understand?" Three heads nodded at him and then were led off by the excited husky youth.

Artemis snorted happily before going to the tiger and following the larger anthromorph into the back where Artemis stood watching the tiger pound on a metal shoe on his anvil. The calming sound of the hammer meeting steel soothed the tension out of the hunter and made some of his inhibitions dissipate before the tiger stopped what he was doing and raised his head to look up at him.

"I can use the help but next time don't send me a messenger asking for it. You need something, you ask for it." The growl in the older anthromorph's voice made the fur on the wolf's neck stand on end.

"I don't know you, slaver and I wouldn't trust you so easily." Artemis put just the right bite in his words to make Randal nod at him.

"So, I thought I was right about you. I'm not in that business anymore so you have nothing to worry about from me." The feline sighed.

"I'm not but I have lives in my paws and I'm not about to just dump them casually away like trash." Said the hunter.

"Hmm. Good man. Believe what you want but I've got work that needs to be done and I can teach them what they'll need to know."

"Fine then. Now, about the wyvern in the mountain caves."

"Mean bastard you ever wanted to meet. Big as all hell and fast. Managed to get some damaged into his thick hide but it wasn't enough to kill him. Need to pierce the flesh in order to slay that one."

"How far is his den?"

"Not far. Maybe sixty yards in but if you go in at day, he'll be waiting for you."

"What weapon would be good on him?"

"I had my broadsword back when I tackled him but it was like cutting into wood with a knife. Need something stronger. A lot stronger."

"Who has what I need?"

"You serious about this?"

"I'm a hunter."

The tiger stood up from where he was sitting and towered over the wolf then stalked away into his bedroom. Artemis could hear the rummaging of the larger anthromorph as he cocked his ears forward but chose to keep his place. In a few moments the horseshoe maker came out with a large wrapped weapon in his arms and set it down on a table in front of the wolf.

"If you can handle it you can have it."

The hunter walked over to the item in question and then threw the cloth from around it. There, sitting down as idly as an innocent child was a weapon of weapons; a huge twin bladed axe polished to perfection and glimmering with a silvery light. The handled was made of a dark brown wood that seemed almost black to the hunter while intricate carvings were crafted into the hilt all the way to where the blades had been forged into it. The metal wasn't normal steel as it had a rough texture about it when Artemis swept his paw over the face of the axe. It felt almost like...

"Is this mythril?" the word felt almost blasphemous coming from the wolf's throat as he had only every seen a few pieces of weaponry made of the exotic and expensive material.

"Found it when I was younger and kept it with me every since. Been waiting for the day I could pass it on to someone but times haven't been kind to me in that respect."

Refraining from saying anything, Artemis picked up the axe by the handle and then tested the balance of the weapon with a few practice swings.

"You've used it before. Recently." The tiger said nothing but kept a tight even look on his face.

"Can you use it?"

"I've have had too much practice with a tool like this. I can do what needs to be done with it. Thank you." Artemis said gratefully before wrapping the weapon.

"Aye. Kill that beast and its yours." It was at this that the wolf turned from his gazing to analyze the tiger.

"There is only one thing I want from you when this is done."

"That's up to him."

"You are his guardian."

"He's almost a man."

"How old is he?"

"Eighteen winters. Small for his age but that he is."

"I see. Will you take care of those three for me today?"

"Aye that I will. I'll work them to death but they will live to tell about it."

Artemis nodded to Randal and then slung the weapon over his shoulder before going to look in on the others. Once he got there the wolf had to stop himself from laughing. Cain and Axel were running around while carrying buckets and brushes at while the husky was pointing to each horse individually. Both canines were happily panting while taking care of the horses, even Ivory who Artemis had dropped off later on last night when he had gotten the trio into their bath. Maverick however, looked like he was about to have a conniption as one of the horses, a tall black stallion with a white mane, licked the rodent's head and matting down his gray fur. The former bandit leader looked both scared and confused at the same time that the wolf let out a bark of laughter making everyone turn to see him.

The trio stopped what they were doing and ran over to their new companion and leader then stared at the thing wrapped in his arms over his shoulder. Each one asking a question.

"I want you to stay here with the master of the workshop and his apprentice and wait for me. I also want you to do everything they say and take care of this place until I get back tomorrow."

The shepherd and malamute looked brokenhearted and whined at the wolf but Maverick seemed to understand what was going on.

"Its alright guys. I'll be back for you later tomorrow morning and we'll all go eat breakfast together but I need you to do what I ask right now. Can you do that for me?" Artemis watched as the two canines nodded at him and then came over to lick his face before going over to stand at the husky's side. Maverick just nodded and strolled away but there was a tension in his shoulder that was present but well hidden from the untrained eye.

The wolf tipped his head and then left the workshop's stable without looking back before going back to the tavern to drop off his weapon. By the time he got back the rabbit barkeeper called the hunter over and then handed the wolf six glass vials of whitish-yellow liquid. Nothing was said between the two but both nodded to each other in understanding. The wolf took what he was given back upstairs with his weapon and then set out to gather up gear for his mission and to also coat the blades of the axe with the tridium. The liquid would help the weapon pierce the scales of the beast giving him an edge that would be two fold with the axe in hand. By the time Artemis was through the day was half over and the wolf settled himself down to take a short rest before he ventured out. He didn't go see his three companions again in fear that it would somehow sway him from making the right decisions when the time came. He had to be impersonal and cold when he set out or he might not return alive.

By the time the moon began to high into the night sky Artemis was ready to leave on his journey. Gearing himself up and throwing a heavy coat of furs over his body, the wolf left out of his room and down to the tavern. Looking around the hunter saw that the barkeeper was up and watching his every move. There was a look in the rabbit's eyes Artemis could see that there was good will in the anthromorph's eyes that spoke of his safe return. Tipping his head to the rabbit the wolf left out of the tavern and then went to the town gates. Looking back at the place where everything had started the hunter said a small prayer to his gods before walking away.

Returning to his current being the wolf shook his head and continued on to the mountains to the monster's lair. The walk had taken him two hours but with the biting cold and his will to return to his friends alive, plus a ripe husky tailhole, Artemis made his away through the dark forest without fail. He had chosen not to take Ivory with him, as the scent of the stallion would have alerted the beast to his presence and thrown the hunter's chance for a preemptive attack off. Arriving at the mountain the hunter sighed and checked his equipment and the twin bladed axe strapped to his back before looking for the wyvern's den entrance.

A silent tink made the hunter turn just in time to dodge a sword curved towards his head. Sliding to the grass and then pulling out his own blade, the hunter snarled as he watched two men anthromorph's stalk over towards him.

"So think he's the one?" a tall black lion asked while holding the weapon that almost cut Artemis in half. A cruel smirk was drawn on his face that made the lupine wish he could tear his claws into the other male's face just to wipe it off.

"He moved away from your strike before you could kill him and his is the only black wolf we've seen out here brother, so I would assume yes." Another lion anthromorph spoke but instead of being black as his sibling he was pure white.

Both males were wrapped in thick stripes of fur covering their bodies from neck to ankles making Artemis wonder who they were and why they were here. Both men looked strong and domineering but the white one was more calm where as the black was clearly violent and aggressive. He didn't have time for this and Artemis made mental notes about how he would dispatch the two males before carrying on with his mission until the white lion stepped over to him and offered a paw.

"Forgive my brother's actions but we wanted to be sure that you were the right person."

Artemis crouched away from the feline before rising up onto his feet and then pointing his sword at the colorless feline.

"Why would you need to assure my status?" the cold edge of Artemis' voice was the same as the chill wind wafting through the night.

"Old Randal sent for us. Said something about some young hunter that was going after a dragon. Said we needed to help you out to get the bounty for the thing." The black lion sneered before sheathing his blade.

"Who are you?" Artemis asked with his sword still held at point towards the others.

"My name is Ramia and he is Remial. You?" the white lion spoke.

"Hunter. If you're coming then let's go." The wolf walked away while sheathing his blade and then entered into the cave without another word. In the back of his mind he thanked the older tiger for the aid but cursed him for sending the two to help him. He worked alone, that way no one but him could die if something went wrong and by the looks of things the black lion Remial was going to get himself killed; too impulsive for Artemis' liking and probably as disobedient as a cub.

The two maned felines caught up with the wolf in the darkness and neither anthromorph said a word as they walked deep into the gloom. A torch would have helped, but considering that the beast would be able to see them before they could see it the three males refrained from lighting one. Rather they used their sense of smell to scent for the creature and make their was silently through the pathway on the balls of their feet. The cold rocks made the lions cringe but the wolf was able to adapt quickly to the freezing temperatures all the while cocking his ears for any sign of the wyvern.

The walk took them deeper and deeper into the mountains and soon they arrived inside of a glowing, moss covered den where their prey slept soundly. The faint light pulsing from the plant life around them was more than enough to see by as with their nocturnal vision the three males readied their weapons and prepared to fight. Artemis took the lead in the battle as he commanded the other two to circle around to the other sides of the beast with his paws and fingers in order to ready themselves to back him up when he charged the creature. The white lion held two swords in his paws and nodded once he was in position while the black lion revealed the sword he had used to try and cleave Artemis with curled in both of his paws.

The wolf unsheathed the twin bladed axe from his back and threw away the cloth wrapping it and then with a heavy sigh he ran up to the beast. When the silvery edge of the axe struck the wyvern the beast roared in pain and opened its phosphorous yellow eyes to stare at its attacker. Opening its jaws to poise razor sharp fangs in challenge the monster shook Artemis away from its head.

"Now!"

The two lions charged forth with violent roars and attacked the wyvern with their weapons at the same time cutting into the hard scaled body. Sadly, neither was able to pierce the thickened flesh underneath and their attacks ended up bouncing off ineffectually. Letting out another roar the wyvern sent the two felines soaring throughout the air with a simple stamp of its clawed feet. The force enough to daze the other two anthromorph's but not injured them. Artemis cursed and pressed another attack with his axe as he saw that his first strike cut into the monster's face drawing a thin line of green blood out and over the creature's long muzzle.

His second rush didn't have much effect when the beast curled its tail around to block the wolf before running up to him to try and bowl him over. A quick sidestep evaded the attack when the hunter rolled to the side and then swung his weapon around in his paws and made an circling blow against the beast's side. Unlike the lion's weapons the tridium hardened mythril blade sliced cleanly through the scales into flesh and arteries. Wailing louder than before the wyvern tried to used it's tail to counter the anthromorph.

The two lions shook themselves off and tossed away their heavy clothing to reveal bodies of tight muscle laced in thin garments of silk. With their mobility unhampered from the furs the felines were able to press down the monster's tail just before it could lash out at the hunter. Seeing that his allies were all right enough to fight the wolf swung the axe around in another circle hitting the spot where his last attack had struck home. More blood splattered out over the wolf's face but that didn't deter the hunter who licked the green froth over his muzzle and then jumped aside to plan his next move.

"Let his tail go!" Artemis shouted.

Ramia and Remial looked at the wolf as if he were mad but did as ordered when the lupine sent them a furious growl. The wyvern turned and tried to charge at the one that wounded him only to be evaded once again. Just as Artemis thought the creature had only the use of his body for attacks and not any kind of flaring breath attacks. When the beast's tail came at him again the wolf hefted his weapon and sent it trailing down like a guillotine. Like a butcher's knife slashing into meat a good three feet of the wyvern's tail was hacked off and flew away like debris from its body as blood sprayed everywhere from the hacked limb. The howl from the dragon like creature was almost musical to the two lions but the wolf continued one with his attacks instead of gloating. A trail of green whipped around the cave as the sawed off tail thrashed around mindlessly but Artemis let the deluge hit his coat rather than trying to side step the blood as the lions tried to.

Artemis, Ramia, and Remial returned to the fray with fire in their eyes as they took the wyvern down little by little. Unable to lock onto the wolf the creature tried to flail around with his legs to kick out at whichever anthromorph was nearest to him but all it did was to give the three males the chance and position to strike it down. Stomping proved to scatter the three away but only for a moment and left the creature more dizzied as the loss of its own putrid blood ran from its bleeding abdomen. When at least the monster seemed to be done in Artemis jumped back from it and then looked at his two allies. Both were bloodied and huffing hard but there was still life in the monster's body that needed to be stamped out in order for this long night to end. Bring the axe to his face the wolf place his unoccupied paw over the frame of the blade and the chanted something low under his breathe.

The words were unintelligible to two felines but the fur on their bodies stood on end as they watched the hunter. When the wolf began to glow a deep crimson he pulled the weapon from in front of his muzzle and then rushed up to the monster. The wyvern gave a loud roar and charged towards the anthromorph with the last bit of strength it could muster. The two titans drew closer and closer to each other and the black lion gripped the hilt of his sword in his paws until his knuckles turned a lighter shade of gray but was held firm by his brother who only shook his head. When the two were just arms length away from each other Artemis jumped into the air and raised his axe over his head being missed being torn in half by a hair.

With all of the power inside of him the wolf sent the blade of the axe in a downward arc with his entire body falling into the attack and pierced through the scaled hide of the wyvern's neck. The final roar of the beast was almost deafening as the rocks fell from atop the cave but when the echoing wail went silent Artemis stood victorious in a sea of green with his weapon pointed down to the ground and his eyes focusing on the spot he had had landed. Body completely covered in the slimy vital organs of the creature the wolf looked up to the two lions before he raised his head gave out a triumphant howl of victory.

"Well, not bad wolf. Looks like old Randal was right and you are better than you look." Remial said sarcastically while walking over to the lupine.

"You did well warrior. Not surprising for who you are really." Ramia called out.

Artemis said nothing but wiped off his axe on the monster's side before finding the wrapping he had used to bind it and then moved passed the two felines to head out of the cave.

"You're not going to see what you can scavenge from this thing?" the black lion asked while opening the dead wyvern's mouth and looking over its fangs.

"Throw me one of its fangs."

Remial did as asked and yanked out one of the creature's teeth before tossing it to the wolf. The hunter caught the foot long incisor in one paw and then nodded to the two felines before continuing on his way. He didn't care about picking the beast's bones clean since all he wanted was to kill the thing and keep the people of the town safe for this winter. While he was a hunter and had done such things when the need called for it, Artemis was more of a treasure hunter by trade and profession and a hunter a close second. No, he'd come back a day or two later when the other creatures that lurked in the night had eaten the wyvern's carcass and look for treasure later on. Killing monsters was a sure fire way to earn some gold later as the god of the hunt and god of fortune both blessed the black wolf with their favor. A smirk appeared on the lupine's face and he wondered what he would find when the others were gone.

Back at town Artemis passed Randal's stables and walked over to the workshop before deciding not to bother. It was later and everyone would still be sleep as dawn was a few hours away. Instead the wolf made his way back to the tavern and knocked on the door. The rabbit barkeeper let him in once he was sure he wasn't a bandit and then looked the hunter over with a curious eye.

Covered in green and holding a twelve inch fang in his paw to the other, the rabbit nodded and ushered the lupine away towards the hot spring where he could wash up for the night. Sighing gratefully that this mission was over with; Artemis let the barkeep lead him on in silence.

When morning came the wolf was awakened by a sense of urgency that made him groan and growl before getting up from his bed. Not sure what was so important Artemis looked outside of the window to see if the town was being attacked. When the only sights that met him were that of the rising sun the black wolf prepared to go back to sleep before stumbling over a blanket laid out on the floor. Wondering why he would leave the sheet where he would trip over it memories came flooding into his mind and the wolf laughed at how he could have forgotten. Tossing the linen onto his bed, Artemis donned his clothes and headed out of the tavern.

At the stables the wolf nodded to Randal and the husky who were mulling around getting ready for the day's work and asked where his charges were without speaking. The tiger pointing to the room in the front and then went back to checking on the stallions. Artemis nodded and walked past the husky without a sound but did whip his tail against the other's backside making the eighteen winter old canine jump. A sultry smile peeled against the wolf's muzzle and a gleam in his eyes made the husky shiver nervously. Snorting evilly the wolf winked at the apprentice before going to find his friends.

There, lying in a pile of fur and cotton blankets were two dogs and a mouse sleeping soundly. It was an endearing sight to see and made Artemis smile before he felt a devilish spark creep up into his mind. It was always like this when he finished up a big mission; something inside of the wolf broke free and demanded that he sate himself with physical contact and intimacy. He needed someone to play with, someone to hold on to after his encounters with death and since this was his new pack now he would get the chance to do so right now.

Leaning down over the three anthromorphs the hunter opened his mouth and then huffed out a billow of hot air into Alex's ear. The shepherd's pointed appendage flickered before he turned away making Artemis chuckle. Doing the same to both Cain and Maverick netted the wolf the same results making the hunter crack up inside. When he decided to move his play over to something more carnal Artemis licked his packmate's ears until they were good and wet and then bit down on each one in turn. Sniffing the others over as they groaned and tried to get out from under his playful banter the wolf continued play until he could smell his own scent mixed theirs, at least on their heads anyway. Finally, after having enough playing, the hunter reached down and rubbed each anthromorph's groins watching them squirm in his paws until a thick scent of arousal mixed with the hay and sweat filled air of the room.

"Wha-what are you doing?" a voice made the wolf turn around and bare his fangs at the intruder until he noticed who it was.

The husky youth was standing there with a bucket in his paws looking down at Artemis with confusion in his eyes. Artemis surveyed the teen and then licked his lips in appreciation before getting up off of the floor and then stalking his way carefully over to the canine with measured steps. The young dog wasn't sure what to do but there was definite fear in his eyes as he looked at the hunter creeping closer to him. However, when he tried to pick up his feet to move away they stayed locked to the floor like anvils. When Artemis was only a few short steps away from him the husky dropped the bucket to the floor making it clatter and wake up the three males on the floor.

Instantly Alex woke up with a soft bark followed by Cain and then Maverick making the hunter turn and look at his pack.

"I'll deal with you later, boy." Turning the wolf placed a growl in his voice that startled the husky into movement making the dog pick up his bucket and then flee towards the stables.

The wolf had to tsk as he thought about how much fun the canine was making this for him. Didn't the boy realize that waving that tail of his around in front of Artemis was a temptation in itself? And furthermore, didn't anyone ever tell the boy not to run from a predator when it had your scent? You were better off standing and fighting back because the chase just made the prize that much sweeter at the end making the said hunter work that much harder.

'Oh well.' Artemis thought before looking back at his companions. First food and then he would chase after the little dog.

Gathering the sore anthromorphs up, Artemis led them out of the workshop to the tavern where he ordered as much food as he could handle plus anything the others wanted. It was technically a victory celebration but the wolf preferred to be an unsung hero to others. As long as key people who could aid him later on knew what he had done the wolf could live without a serenade. Ravenously eating what came to him, Artemis felt the eyes of others watching him in mild surprise. The food wasn't terribly good but not bad either however; no one had eaten as much or so fast as the hunter did on that day, not even the three combined on the day before.

When the four anthromorphs were finished eating they went up to Artemis' room and talked about what had happened last night. The wolf didn't make any elaborate tales of heroism and gave it to his packmates as straight as he possibly could without fudging details. Showing them the fang set off a round gasps and then nuzzles and hugs as the hunter was swamped up in affection. This was his pack now, for better or worse he was the alpha and he had a responsibility to them to stay alive and come back from his missions. Maybe it was time to think about settling down in this town and setting up a place for him and his packmates. After all, he, while he was still young, knew the value of having a place to call home. Besides that, there was bound to be work for him here or in the capital just a few days away.

Shaking his head, the wolf decided to let all of that work itself out later, right now all he wanted was the closeness of his shepherd, malamute, and mouse near him. Closing his amber eyes the hunter let the scent of the two dogs and mouse rush over him as he drifted into a light slumber.

When he woke up later on in the afternoon it was to someone pounding on the door. Getting up from underneath Axel's and Cain's hold, the wolf growled groggily and then went over to throw open the door. Standing just outside of his room was the young husky from Randal's workshop. Instantly sleep was forgotten and the hunter looked at the boy with confusion in his eyes.

"Can I help you?" Artemis' sleep fogged voice barked out before he yawned.

"My...my master asked if he could have his workers back now?" the question came out timidly from the young canine's throat and instantly the wolf felt his groin pulse with need. There was something very cute about submissive males in his mind.

"Ahh. All right. Let me get them up and then you can take them back to your master however, I would like for you to come back here tonight once you are finished with work for the day. I have something that needs to be said to you later." The intention in Artemis' voice was plain to the young husky and he nodded hesitantly.

Smiling hungrily the wolf went over to wake the others up and send them on their way. When everyone was gone the wolf cleaned up the room and then prepared everything he needed for tonight. All the while he whistled a tune that would have made someone's fur stand up on end.

Night crept up quickly on the town and soon there was a gentle knock on the hunter's door that caused Artemis to spring up from his bed to answer it. Scent alone told the wolf who was behind his door and the wolf unconsciously licked his lips as he felt his need rise up. He was defiantly going to enjoy himself.

The door opened with a quiet creek until the hunter was looking into the eyes of a certain young canine boy shaking in his boots. Reaching out and placing a clam paw on the youth, the wolf helped him inside before closing the door behind him with the same quite creak.
