More and more drops of rain started falling and lighting started shooting across the clouds in the sky. Everything was a hue of green from the large amount of cloud coverage and a few rays of light pushed their way through the gray puffs in the sky. It a beautiful sight and the couple watched it as they cuddled close together.

Josh again burst into laughter as his friend got up and climbed back up the stairs.

Tobias stared at the feline a few seconds before turning his back to him and kicking backwards, interrupting Josh's imitation and knocking him down the stairs.

The white tiger went over to the DVD's and started looking at them. Ky and his mate soon returned and sat down on the couch next to Kayla. Eventually, they all decided on a movie, turned off the lights, and started watching.

The yellow canine walked over and plopped down on a loveseat as the two remaining furs followed the tigress. Tobias talked to his friend as they walked to the back, then, stopping in mid sentence, his jaw dropped as he saw the back alley filed with couches, recliners, loveseats, chairs, and lots of other things.

"This is why you had to rush over." explained the female feline, "All this is going to get ruined if we don't get it inside. The truck had to leave and make another delivery so he had to drop it all in this alley. Thankfully, it's not raining hard right now. Now, let's get to work."

Josh grumbled something inaudible before grabbing one end of a couch and carrying it in, with the husky's help. The three furs worked several minutes carrying in all of the furniture. The rain started pouring just as they got the last piece inside.

The young tiger fell down on the couch he had just helped carry in and said, "Finally!"

Josh jumped up and sarcastically apologized, "Oh, I am so sorry. We would want the couch to get damp just to give your son a bit of rest."

Tobias burst out into laughter and after a few seconds of pondering, Josh figured out the insult and said, "Heeey!!"

"Well, we had better get back to Ky." said the canine, pulling his keys out of his pocket and swinging them around one finger, "He is probably getting bored."

"Yeah, probably." agreed his white furred friend, "Kayla! Come on, we are leaving now!"

"Oh, umm, my mom just called and said I need to go home." explained the labrador. "She is on her way here to pick me up."

"Oh. Uhhh, okay." Josh said, feeling kind of sad not being able to hang out with his new girlfriend, "Well I guess I will call you tonight then."

"Yeah, okay." Kayla said before giving her the tiger a kiss on the cheek, "Talk to you then."

After a few embarrassing comments from the felines mother about the kiss, Tobias and his friend left the store and got into the van. Josh turned on an Evans Blue song once he got in and started head banging to it. There were several police cars, ambulances, and fire trucks parked outside of Ky's house. The canine noticed policemen putting up police tape around the perimeter of the house. Sickness consumed him as he saw a familiar, black car parked in the driveway of the house.

Tobias stopped before hitting a police car and got out of his van, paying no attention to the water raining down on him. He dropped his keys and left the door open as he walked up to the scene. He saw three paramedics run into the house, and as they disappeared into the doorway, he saw a figure lying on the floor, in a pool of blood, just inside the door. Tears filled his eyes as started running up to the house.

Before he could get to it, a large german shepherd stepped blocked his view of the house and grabbed him, before saying, "Where the fuck do you think you're going?!"

"Step back, now!" said the policeman sternly.

Mud splattered onto the husky's face, but was soon washed away by the heavy rain. The cold ground seemed to hold him down as he tried to get up, but after a few seconds he was able to. With no regard for the cop, Tobias ran past the canine, tearing the police tape.

The husky, ignoring the policeman, ran through the muddy lawn as raindrops pounded his face. He ran towards the front door, yearning to see his mate, but stopped at the entrance. He looked at the body he saw before and was horrified to see his love's mother. Half of her head was blown off, and a gun lay next to her, in the pool of blood. Just as he was about to enter to check on his mate, he was shoved back by a paramedic leaving the house with a stretcher.
