Five years had passed since my birth and I was a clever one, causing mischief of all kinds.
"GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE DEVIL CHILD!" Jon, the village chieftain shouted "GIVE ME BACK THAT HELMET!"
"Come and catch me first you silly old man." I retorted as I ran along the rooftops of the village taunting Jon with the helmet.
"ANON!" Mayla shouted, as i slid to a halt with the helmet still in my hands "Give Jon his helmet back." she said sternly.
"But momma I was just playing with him." I said.
"No buts, give it back to him and get inside Anon." Mayla commanded.
"Yes momma." I said sadly, handing over the helmet and running inside.
"I am so sorry Mr. Colt, he just wants someone to play with." Mayla murmured.
"Yes well, see to it that he stops doing that. Good day Mayla." Jon murmured.
"Will do Mr. Colt" Mayla said as she stepped inside and closed the door. "Did you see the look on his face?" Mayla laughed as she turned to face me.
"I know right." I giggled.
"Come here my clever little devil of a Riolu, and give me a hug." Mayla said as I rushed into her arms and gave her a great big bear hug.
"What do you want to do now?" I asked.
"How about we go and swim in the spring later." Mayla answered.
"Yes!" I shouted.
"Ok but first we need to have lunch." Mayla said with a chuckle.
"Can we have fish today?" I asked.
"Sure, Why not." Mayla said.
"Yay!" I Barked, jumping up and down.
Later that evening back at the house, Mayla is playing chess with me.
"Pawn to D5. So did you think today was fun my clever little boy?" Mayla asked.
"Bishop to D5. Yes momma, I had a lot of fun." I answered.
"Knight to F5, check. Good. I am glad you had a good day." Mayla replied.
"Rook to F5. What did you think of today momma?" I asked.
"Queen to B7. I had a wonderful time with you today." Mayla answered.
"Bishop to B7, check mate. I'm tired momma." I said with a yawn.
"Ok. I will be right there to tuck you in, just give me a minute to put this away." Mayla said with a quite chuckle.
"Ok momma." I said, running to my bed.
"Ok here you go. Good night sweetie, I love you." Mayla murmured gently.
