Chapter 12

Alex and Rin followed River as they walked through was what called the first floor of the bar. It was setup most likely like a restaurant with a dance floor and a stage. There were TV monitors all around the place so persons eating could enjoy all kinds of shows. There was even a bar where the drinks were being served. But the weird part of this were what those things were doing.

"You could have told me that you were bringing them here!" A stern but familiar voice said as he lowered the book he was reading. It turned out to be Patrick. The panda was just there waiting for them to show up.

"Ah so this is where you were. Where is everybody else?" River asked as he and the others took a seat. "Benjamin is giving a personal concert to some VIP's down on level four and Antonio is randomly painting things around the place. Kyle bailed at the last second something about having to run an errand." Patrick said.

"So anyhow, you already set things up to give them a tour?" River asked.

"Benjamin did. Their tour guide should be here soon enough along with some lunch for us. Ah there they are." Rin and Alex turned around to see two foxes dressed in fish net vests and a cock ring walking up to their table. One had a tray with some food and drinks while the other was empty handed.

"Hello my name is Trey and I will be your guide today." One of the foxes said while smiling. The other went to place the food items in front of Patrick and River.

"Oh Rin? I heard you were at the party Friday never expected to see you here though!" The silver fox said while the gold one next to him just smiled.

"Trey Might I remind you that you have a task to perform?" Troy said trying to make sure his brother did not get distracted.

"Alright. Follow me you two I am going to show you around the place!" The silver fox while leading the two away from the eating duo.

Troy then looked at Patrick and River and noticed River glaring at him. "Something I can help you with master River?"

"You can get under the table already. Patrick might not want this but I sure as hell do." River said as he unzipped his pants tony got the message and quickly crawled under the table and got to work after his fished out River's dick from the confines of his underwear.

"Okay this is level one. Each level has four parts, a main area and three surrounding areas, on level one we have a combo of dance floor, restaurant and bar. We however to not serve alcoholic beverages here. Sex and alcohol do not mix in here. The other three areas mostly serve as storage areas and entrances from all four entrances around the town. Level one is just the entrance were everyone gets warmed up. Follow me to level two." Trey said and then lead them back to the front where they first entered the bar and there was a push door that lead to the stairs. The three walked down the stairs to level two.

"Level two is one of the places that you typically will not find much action on. This is where most of the town females hang out. We have a huge shopping areas that take up the main area and the left and right side area while there is a spa in the back area. Generally most men avoid this floor unless their wife or girlfriend is here. I would show you more but I am not allowed to enter this area without permission." Trey said while standing behind the door. Alex and Rin looked to each and nodded as their guide went down one more floor.

"This is level three the water level." Trey opened the door to area and Rin and Alex saw a huge pool with a few furs in it swimming. "This area consists of a huge pool in the main area, a hot tub and Jacuzzi in the right area and a shower area in the left area. The back area has a grooming area for the men who actually care about their looks. This is the floor most people visit. Now allow me to show you the fourth floor." "I knew they hung out elsewhere but I never would have guessed they spent a lot of time here of all places. Anyway..." Rin was cut off by his phone ringing. It was his father telling him it was time for them to return home.

"Dad says it is time for us to gather the guys and go. He has a lot of important things to tell us before the test. We should let everyone else know and head out Alex. But I wonder what has gotten in to him he seemed more anxious" Rin reported to Alex.

"Alright let us go then" Alex waved off to their guide who waved them goodbye and went to the first floor to find their friends.

Meanwhile back at the base. Alphaten, Venom and Alfred were in meeting with two unexpected visitors. Kyle and Jerome were there discussing business.

"So you are here to officially form an alliance with us? Why have the realm keepers decided that we are suddenly on the same side?" Alphaten said feeling a little bit cautious.

"Zander's appearance and the Dark Immortals latest Victory has us very concerned now. The gate guardians in the middle realm have their hands full dealing with it and as you clearly know they managed to hit the light palace something that shouldn't have been possible. The Elders have decided that we shall aid your guardians here in the earth to expunge the dark immortals as we cannot let their latest projects arrive here." Jerome gave a briefing.

"And you want us to trust you? The elders have only been an impedance to light's defense. Can we trust the elders...?" Venom said a bit angrily.

"Venom! I know of history with them but right now with how the dark immortals are behaving we should trust them for now anyway. Besides I doubt those three would come to me without having some sort of peace offering." Alphaten said as he interrupted Venom and forced him to back down.

"Well their proposal is to have Kyle trained to control Thunder while allowing light access to this realm for the rest of the war within reason of course. They also have a few things they would like to tell you. The Dark immortals have started experimenting with the shadow dimension and there might be a coup being planned, at least that is the latest Intel we have gotten" Jerome answered.

"We have heard some reports like that as well but my father is not taking those things seriously. But I am amazed that someone so young has possession of Thunder. That is one weapons in the three spirit classes. Why would the Elders let someone so young have access to it?" Alphaten inquired. Thunder was too much of an asset for the elders to let someone so young to have total control of it.

"Thunder sought me out. It came to me in a dream and then sealed itself inside me without the elders knowing about it. They tried to retrieve it but when they realized I had a full synchronization with Thunder they let me keep it and took me in as one of their gate Keepers around two years ago." Kyle responded looking a bit out of it. He did not really like to think about that time in his life.

"Interesting! You two are mortals from this realm so I have to wonder, when did the elders start using earthlings to defend this realm? When they were chased out they took their gate keepers with them. Why would they need earth gate keepers now? Unless..." Alphaten started to think and realized that something was off about these two standing in front of him. The elders would never bestow immortal powers upon mortals and they disliked both his and the dark immortals decision to do so. So why would they be doing something like that themselves.

"I was the first, Kyle was the fifth. I had the ability to see the rifts and be drawn into them when the immortals would fight. But that was only a power that my eyes had. I could only see it and could never interact with a Rift. My abilities were a strange mutation that the Gate keepers could never understand but realized I would be a great gate keeper for them since their gate keepers are currently trapped and fighting in the middle realm." Jerome answered until Kyle decided to answer.

"But the real reason was one of their visions. They saw a vision that they actually had to stop. You know that the Elders sometimes see visions of events that can change the realms immensely and most of the time they do not stop it. Such as the Light's rebellion when the dark immortals started attacking them. Or the Dark's immortal realization that they could actually over power the elders. But this vision is one that they cannot ignore and have been making preparations to act. They have been recruiting Gate keepers such myself. Earthlings with just a touch of immortal powers such as rogue dark bloods and abnormals such as Jerome. The Light and Dark both will lose and be destroyed by this force, they know nothing about how it will happen or who will cause such an event to occur but all they have been able to figure out is that the weapons are the key to this event."

"Kyle! That is information that the gate keepers themselves are still not sure about. But he has a point they are doing this to prevent their own death. So will you accept their proposition?" Jerome asked after he stopped Kyle form revealing anymore needless information.

Venom growled and walked out of the room leaving Alfred and Alphaten by themselves. "It would be beneficial for us right now. After all my forces are going to be hard pressed to go up against a dark prince and general blue who have suddenly taken an interest in this place."

"Then we have a deal then." Jerome was about to shake on deal that was made but something caught them by surprise.

"Level four medical alert. Level four medical alert. All Healers please report to Emergency room four. I repeat Level four medical alert, all healers please report to emergency room four." A voice came blaring through the entire base.

"We will have to continue this later!" Alphtaten quickly ran out of his office and made his way to the emergency room.

Meanwhile in the said emergency room the various Shamans were administering emergency treatment to their patients while outside waiting were Crimson, Shadow and Marlon waiting for news. Shadow was holding Marlon tightly as tears were streaming down his face both look uninjured but looked pale and frightened. Crimson had a defeated look to him and he had sustained an injury to his right arm and right eye. He had bandages all over the right side of his body.

The three were interrupted from their wallowing when Alphaten suddenly ran in. "What is going on?" Alphaten said when he saw the look of despair on their faces.

Crimson was the only who was even capable of answering. "We were ambushed.... I really can't say more than that." Crimson said while clutching his fists.

"There has to be more! There is no way your squad would end up like this just by a simple ambush! Your mission was a typical mission monitor the actions of a group of suspected dark bloods. No run of the mill dark bloods could cause so much trouble for you!" Alphaten was livid.

"They weren't normal! Not one bit! That power.... I have never felt anything like it." Marlon said as he lifted his head and faced Alphaten. "If it wasn't for Shadow pulling us into one of his shadow fields then we would have been right in there with my squad."

"Explain in full detail. This does not sound right!" Alphaten ordered.

"We went to investigate that group of dark bloods we had our eyes on for a while now, but when we got there we found them all dead, their bodies drained up energy and their soul taken from them. We gave chase to the culprit to get information from him and that is where everything went wrong. Crimson, Shadow and I gave chase while the others tried to circle around him. We managed to corner him in a building and we planned to make our move on him there. We managed to open a large rift around us about two miles in diameter. Tyson Nunvez and Joe entered the building while we positioned ourselves on the outside and that is when it happened." Marlon explained but took a pause and hesitated as he recalled the next sequence of events.

"I heard someone call out 'it is a trap'. When we turned to see who it was the building exploded in pure dark energy. But it was not like the energy we normally see in dark bloods. It was angrier, fiercer. We have no idea what it was but once it erupted it started to destroy everything instantly. Shadow managed to save me by pulling me into one of his shadow pockets. Crimson followed up but he got caught by the explosion before we were fully sealed."

Marlon buried his face in his paws as he cried. "When we came out the entire area in the rift was destroyed, if the rift wasn't so wide that city might have been wiped off the map. When we found the rest of my squad they were all nearly dead. We barely managed to get them back in time."

Shadow hugged Marlon closer while crimson finished up. "They were on the verge of having their entire soul collapse. Marcus managed to save them for now but we have idea what kind of condition they are in currently." Alphaten was a bit taken by the sheer amount of fear that was being shown by Marlon. Even though Marlon had been on missions for a while now this was the first time he had seen the young shaman so shaken. Soon Marcus emerged from the operating room.

"Alphaten, we are going need you in there. This is just too much, we have no idea of what we are dealing with here." Marcus seemed highly stressed and tired, he looked like he had been working non-stop for hours.

"Explain Marcus!" Alphaten demanded.

"This is dark energy but it is not like normal dark energy. Dark energy normally consumes and transforms light like light does with dark but this is not consuming it. It is destroying the light itself, heck even in Crimson the energy was destroying him which dark energy does not do to dark bloods. We have never seen anything like this we need your help in here!" Marcus explained trying to maintain his cool.

Alphaten raised an eyebrow and then started walking towards the emergency operating room. "Alright. Send word to Venom that he will handle the tests himself now. Crimson and shadow will also help. Those two need to get their mind off this. Send Marlon home as well, and release Dan. His son will need him." Alphaten ordered and had one of the shamans from the emergency room leave with the message.

Shadow grabbed up Marlon and escorted him home while Crimson just went for a walk around the facility. Meanwhile Dan was released and rushed home to comfort his son Marlon along with Henry and tony.

A while later at Gale's bar, Alex, Patrick and Rin were already near the entrance and waiting for River, Antonio and Benjamin. River was still at their table getting his third blowjob from Troy who was still under the table with his face covered in River's cum. Patrick was still absorbed in his book and was not paying much attention.

"He is waiting for Antonio and Benjamin. As are we." Patrick just dismissively answered Alex. Alex just groaned and continued to wait as Antonio finally walked up and greeted them.

"Heya guys. Sorry I took so long I had four paintings to do for one of the new married couples here." Antonio said as soon as he reached the group waiting. He had his art supplies on his back and was covered in a little paint.

"We are still waiting on River to finish up and for Benjamin to come up." Alex said to the husky while pointing to the otter who was still enjoying the blowjob behind them. Antonio just chuckled a bit but they were soon interrupted by Benjamin who walked up with Tyrone.

"Ah there you boys are." The older otter said as he walked up to them He and Benjamin were still both naked but Benjamin had his guitar strapped over his back.

"Ah you haven't met my foster dad yet have you? Alex, Rin meet my foster dad Tyrone!" Benjamin said introducing his foster father who just waved.

"Nice to meet you boys, I am Jerome Beal, The proud owner of this establishment." The otter extended his hand and shaked both Alex and Rin.

"Huh? Beal? Are you related to River?" Rin asked questioningly.

"Ah yes, River is a distant relative. His family and mine share a common ancestor. I am surprised you don't know of the Beal family since you lived here all your life. Beal is the name of the otter family that first settled this area so you will find a lot of persons around town with that name." Jerome explained.

"Ready to go guys?" Everyone heard River say as he came up behind them finally finished.

"Yea, we are. Tyrone I guess I see you tonight? Or are you not coming home?" Benjamin asked his foster dad.

"You are not getting rid of me that easily. I will be home and waiting so don't stay out too late. Especially you Antonio! My Brother will kill me if you are not back at a reasonable hour." Tyrone said while patting both Benjamin and Antonio and the head and walking off.

The boys said their final goodbyes to Troy and Trey and then left to head to Alex's house. The ride there was uneventful with the boys just chatting each other up. Once they got to the house though they felt a huge change in the atmosphere.

Henry and Tony were in the kitchen cooking while Dan was comforting Marlon on the couch who was just wrapped in blankets. Alfred was standing on watching with Aquas standing next to him. Alex saw the state his brother was in he rushed over.

"What happened to Marlon!?" Alex went to ask but Aquas grabbed him and dragged him away.

"Do not concern yourself with this as of yet. You will know soon enough but you have your tests first. I am here to escort you to the exam." Aquas said holding him back. The others went to move but Alfred shook his head signaling them to stay where they were.

"He is right Little brother. Your tests come first. You need to focus on them. Leave this to us." Henry said as he came out the kitchen with some nice warm soup for Marlon.

Alex still being held by Aquas just nodded and Aquas finally released him. "Let us depart then" Aquas said as he and Alfred lead the boys down to the teleporter. As they reached the door Alex looked back and saw the tears coming down Marlon's face.

"Marlon." Alex said under his breathe.
