Seed of Justice
#2 of My Life as a Super Hero
Tyler sat out on the sun baked stones of the looming Pyramid that stuck out of the sands like a long forgotten soda bottle at the beach. Travelling across the world with his father as they dug out ancient ruins in the Egyptian desert didn't seem like the best use of his summer vacation but at least it got him out of having to do any of the pre-assigned work he'd have had for his senior year. Was nice that he got to bring along a few friends though they seemed more interested in hitting the near by city for booze and ass. This was the reason he was sitting out and tanning himself, his compatriots off partying while he had to stay behind and keep watch on the meager tents his father and co-workers had set up at their base. The one benefit of being left alone by the bulk of the work crew and his friends was the swarm of helping hands from the camp who were more than happy to help oil his trim and fit body up for a few extra American dollars. "Is the young master pleased?" his most recent find asked in heavily accented English as he worked oil deep into his muscles. A simple nod was all that seemed needed as the strong stable hand continued his task.
"Perhaps the young master would like a story?" the helpful man asked, glancing down at his ward as Tyler continued to stretch out with a pleased sigh. Another nod was given as he descended further into a blissful puddle. "Long ago these lands were ruled by a powerful nation whose armor was made of metal scales. The Pharoh's of the Upper Kingdom refused to step into this valley for fear of losing their men to the Cult of Apep that held this land as sacred. It is said that Ra himself came into the valley and turned the blood slacked sands to glass and sealed the vile priests away in the dark caves deep under the ground before instructing his priests to build these very pyramids to seal them forever." the man droned as he worked over Tyler's legs. "It is said by the local herders that every so often a scale is found, made of a strange black metal. Your father has even found them in their digging." he offered, hoping to bring the lethargic boy out of his haze. "A snake worshiping cult of warriors huh?" he finally offered up, turning over to offer his slim chest up to the eager hands. "Sounds like more legends, one of the other stable hands talked about how Ra lost his staff in the battle yesterday. Probably just some poetic legends of an actual battle or something."
The stable hand only offered a friendly smile, Tyler much to relaxed and distracted to notice the strange glint the man's eyes held. "Perhaps you can take your friends down into the burial chamber your team uncovered today, they have found many interesting burial goods within. They do not seem interested in history, your friends young Master." the man continued, finally moving off once he seems satisfied. "Will you be needing anything else?" he asks, Tyler finally sitting up a little to look over his work. "No, I think I will be good for the day. Maybe another hour under the sun before I call it in. Thanks for the info Ahmed." he mumbles, a little distracted by the mention of his friends. It was true he hadn't seen them much but he doubted they'd be interested in poking around in the ruins of some ancient king. Didn't mean he wouldn't be doing it when night fell though.
Tyler slinked through the camp as the sun finally sank under the horizon, giving a few minutes of relief from it's oppressive heat. The work teams had packed it in and it was a good hour or so before his friends would come back from town probably drunk. He figured it'd be a good idea to scout things out and hit his buddies up once they'd had time to sit in their beer for a few hours. The work site was mostly dark, LED lights set up to keep a low level of light so people wouldn't trip into the open pits and hurt themselves. If he hadn't grown up in such an environment he might have found it creepy but the story was the same each summer. Work sites and tombs, an absent and overworked father, friends who were to interested in the local flavor and handsome workers who were none the wiser of the American boy soaking up their attentions.
The inner tomb was much the same, quiet and cast in the off blue light of the LEDs that hung from the ceiling and lined the floor. Mounds of gold and trinkets littered the burial chamber, the sarcophagus dominating the center of the room covered in hieroglyphs though he didn't know nearly enough to read. Pictures along the lines detailed much the same story he had been told by various locals, of ancient snake skin armored warriors who worshiped Apep who was central to many of the drawings. Other passages seemed to have been unearthed over the course of the day, small lines of LED lights disappearing down into darkness. Tyler moved swiftly to the sarcophagus, his hands moving over it to clear what little dust remained. The bottom had more of the same pictures as the walls though the falcon headed god Ra seemed to take center stage, beating back snakes and men back with a powerful pillar of what seemed to be light. The carvings also seemed to be inlaid with gold, the metal capturing the cold light around the room in an almost mesmerizing display.
Voices broke Tyler out of his revere, the thick Arabic unable to hide the voice of many of the stable hands as they laughed and sang as they passed by the camp site. The singing grew louder, English starting to sound though much more slurred though just as easy to recognize as the friends who had ditched him day after day. He scrambled to find some place to hide as the singing started to echo down the hallways, Tyler much to panicked to be caught sneaking around the grave site to wonder why the others were doing the same. His feet slide over metal and ancient and tattered rugs, causing the young man to crash down onto the stone. He scrambled on his hands and knees, making a beeline for one of the newly opened passages though before he could react he felt his knee sink into the stone before the ground underneath him opened up and the world became dark. It felt like he was falling forever though even as he tried to struggle and right himself he never once bumped into any of the stone walls as if he were merely falling through darkness. Down and down he went, the pinprick of light beneath swiftly growing until he finally fell free into a massive cave. He braced for the worst though when he finally hit the ground he was surprised he wasn't crushed against stone but a large and soft pile of pillows that miraculously cushioned his fall.
He'd long since screamed himself hoarse, unable to muster much of a cry for help as he stood and looked about his surroundings. It seemed almost an exact replica from the tomb above only ten times as large at least. A massive stone coffin dominated the room, the pile of soft pillows that somehow saved his life a strange clear substance on further reflection. Circuit boards and wires ran about the walls and what appeared to be guns out of a bad Star Trek movie were laid out in piles. None of that compared to the towering staff that hovered above the coffin however, showering the room in a golden light. Tyler had to scoff, never really believing the stories the locals had always told to him but here in front of him seemed to be the very staff of Ra so many had tried to convince him of. His mind reeled from the sudden and rather bizarre series of events, staggering closer to the warm golden glow. His friends would never believe him when he found his way up...if he could find his way up that was. He tried to banish the thoughts, moving his hands over the impossibly large coffin which were covered in similar yet alien pictographs. The proto-writing was inlaid with the same gold as above, the gleam all the more enticing with the much warmer light.
No sounds broke him from the hypnotic effect that slowly clouded his mind, the staff turning slowly to watch the movements of the human that had fallen into it's resting place. Before Tyler knew it a beam of intense and searing light washed over him, causing him to fall back onto his plump ass in shock before a sharp tug lifted him off the ground and into the air. The beam drew him closer to the staff head as the air continued to grow hotter, each second seeming longer and longer as the air began to sizzle. His clothing swiftly burst into flame before evaporating into smoke, exposing his firm and tanned body to full brunt of the light though a swift moment of panic seemed for not as the light harmlessly washed over him. A loud hum soon filled the room, the air itself seeming to shake as lights burst into life and the stone coffin under his feet began to yawn open.
"Long have we slumbered." a booming voice called into Tyler's mind, causing him to shrink more or at least he tried to shrink away though his body was held firm in the light. "Why have you awakened us, Son of Man." the voice continued, the stone beneath him finally opening fully to reveal a mummified giant with the head of a great falcon. Tyler could only gape at the display, for all purposes the ancient god of Ra laid out beneath is dangling and naked form. "Why do you not answer your Lord, Son of Man, for what have you awakened me for?" the voice continued, the light growing brighter as it drowned out Tyler's ability to see. "I-It was an accident!" he screamed, his throat like razor blades as he tried to keep his calm to no avail. "T-This is all make believe! R-Ra's just a legend, the staff and the snake men and all that stuff! I don't even know what's going on!" he continued to cry out before the light suddenly cut out.
"No." the voice finally entoned as images of ancient Egypt filled Tyler's mind. Slaves toiling under the feet of giants, swirling lights and what could only be described as space ships flying through the ancient sky as pyramids stretched out across the world. "Long ago we ruled this Galaxy." the voice continued, stars stretching out to fill Tyler's eyes as the room itself faded into the long distant memories. "We ruled the populaces of our planets as Gods, uplifting and teaching our wards until they could protect themselves and contribute to our empire. But we had many enemies." More images of snake like monsters falling to Earth, drilling into the earth and tempting men to do nefarious acts as ancient cities were overrun by monsters. "They preyed on us until our empire crumbled. This planet was the last bastion of hope, we had slain all but the greatest of our enemies. The one you call Apep. It had corrupted this planet more than we could have known as we fled, my friends and family slaughtered before I caught wind. Four centuries until I could seal the beast under these very sands, four centuries until the war that had consumed my home could end. It took all my strength, the last of my life filled into this staff you see before you."
Tyler could only hang limp as he was bombarded with more images, mindless humans in black snake scale like armor swarming from the very valley they sat in, killing the women and enslaving any man they came into contact with. The slaves were drug back to the pyramid they sat in, orgies unfolding before they were fitted into armor themselves and adding to the army. "I could not slay the best or save the many it had corrupted to it's vile ends, only seal it deep in the sands and act as it's final guardian." A bright light fell from the sky as the army of snake men watched, a massive glowing monster breaking from the sands to catch the falling giant in it's fangs. The two tousled and fought until Ra gained the upper hand, another flash of light filling the valley before fading. All that was left was a blasted and pitted landscape of molten glass, the army and the "gods" gone forever. "I was content to sleep, my followers building these chambers to hide us away forever. You have now awoken me and you will be the vessel of my return. Long have I sensed the darkness of Apep returning to your world but I was unable to stop it. Today you will be the vessel of my revenge and of my will."
Tyler tried to thrash as the images faded, the light growing brighter for a moment before he felt himself fall to the floor. "The last of my energy is now yours. Use your powers wisely Son of Man. Those who are strong are responsible for shepherding the weak." With those words the presence in his mind began to fade, the massive gold staff falling to the floor as it shrunk to a more human side. Tyler was desperate to catch his breath, his entire body dripping with sweat. Any tan lines he might have had were gone, his skin a deep bronze that glistened in the golden light that still poured from the staff before him. He couldn't say what compelled him as he reached for the staff as if his body had a mind of it's own, his mind screaming to just leave it where it lay and run. Run away from Gods and monsters and Egypt to the safe confines of his home where he could at least forget it all. But this was not to be, the cool metal touching his skin and in an instant of bight light he could feel power surge through his body. His knees trembled as his body rose under it's own power, his hips growing wider as his lean frame burst with muscle until he rivaled the most ripped of Olympic swimmers. His hair burst down his back, growing lighter and lighter to a dusty blond that hung to his plump ass. Images of tantric orgies under the sun filled his vision, priests in the raiments of Ra pleasure one another under the vast blue sky. His mouth watered, his body pleading for release as he could feel his sexual desires rise and his hands move to his length. His mind was soon lost like his body, stroking along his cock furiously as it grew and thickened in his slim hands as waves of pleasure cascaded over his body. His knees trembled as his other hand joined to stroke along his flesh, soon falling back to them as he let his head fall back with wild moans as his tool continued to grow and become thicker until he was a foot long easily. Golden pre-cum leaked from his head onto the stone floor, his body exploding in light as he gave into the pleasure.
