#10 of Violent Fetish Content
Anonymously commissioned scene.
This story is (at least in part) a tribute to Konami's Gradius games. I would go on to say, "but with an alien's giant genital member getting shot at by lasers and torpedoes" ... but honestly, with some of the things I've seen come out of Japanese video gaming, I'm not even sure I need to explain all that much here.
As with all of the CBT/nullification commissions, read at your own risk and/or if it's your thing.
Advance warning: this story contains graphic depictions of violence and gore, including the repeated wounding and eventual destruction of a giant dragon's penis. If you do not wish to see this or it would be illegal for you to view such material, turn back now.
The android known as Silence watched from his ship's cockpit as thousands of secondary-target notifications flooded his HUD-augmented field of vision: "PROLIFERATORS INCOMING," a red-lettered notification flashed near the top.
Although not precisely what he came here to shoot down, the approaching swarm of secondary targets was a telltale sign: if the tiny alien spawn ahead of his craft were any indication, he couldn't be far from their source. He readied his craft's lasers for action and fired a few initial shots for the sake of calibrating his aim.
Tyoo, tye-tyoo tyoo! The ship's gunnery modules let loose their familiar sound through the cockpit, and the android watched with passive satisfaction as the volley of laser bursts breached through a line of several of the slowly moving, flesh-colored, orb-like creatures. Each of their strange bodies exploded in a small chemical blast in response to the focused heat. His aim thus confirmed, he activated the forward thrusters and kept shooting at further secondary targets as they drifted toward him, his little ship's capacity being only minimally taxed by this ordinary use of the guns. He wove his way through the resulting debris and space-gore, taking care not to let his ship collide with anything.
Closer optical scans of these small monstrosities revealed them to be normal examples of larvae of their species - or at least as near to normal as that ever was, given how prone to mutation the species seemed to be. Each of the fleshy orbs possessed between seven and ten membrane-sealed "mouths" which dotted their surfaces, presumably to allow each of these larval creatures to open a mouth and consume food from any angle at which their perpetually spinning forms might make contact with it. They were well-adapted for monotonously drifting through space - but poorly adapted to enduring laser fire.
As Silence pressed on through the swarm toward their source, the going worsened, with the larvae blocking much of his field of view due to how densely they populated the area. Soon he deployed the occasional torpedo among his laser shots, using the explosives to take out particularly thick clusters of thirty or more. His sensors told him that his primary target was only a few minutes out, but still he couldn't see it reliably - only catching glimpses between the unending waves of alien spawn.
Soon, the android detected pulsating, redder-looking spawns interspersed among the others. These differently colored masses would open their various mouths and expel orbs of burning-hot space junk in all directions, before eventually self-detonating in a particularly large burst of heat and force. The android quickly found that he could use his lasers to blow these more volatile targets up from a distance, often taking out several other spawns in the process. Yet the thickness of the rest of the swarm further worsened as he did this, and Silence ended up with a tightrope-act of threat management on his hands: continually clearing the path in front of him while also taking care to shoot down the exploding menaces emerging from the alien member, lest one of them drift too near to his craft.
All easy work for a cyberbrain, some would say, but the sheer numbers and variable trajectories of the creatures meant this situation demanded far more of Silence's processing power than most others ever did. Of course, specialist androids were used in emergency response for threats like this mainly because it was so hard for organic brains to keep up with the mayhem involved.
The trouble came down mainly to issues of numbers and of size. The primary alien Silence had been sent here to kill was a mature Proliferator specimen, which differed "enormously" from the larvae currently being shot to pieces by his vessel.
In their mature form, Proliferators were staggeringly large, vaguely dragonish things that seemed to live for no other reason than to spawn millions of larvae and then fling them out into space in various directions, in hopes that one or two would encounter a planetoid or other object safe for feeding and maturation. The larvae were individually weak and easy to destroy, but eventually one would get lucky and find a posh environment in which it could feed and feed and feed and eventually grow through its life cycle and fully mature.
Once grown up, they were truly menacing: the android's little craft occupied a paltry 1/10000 the total volume of the mature Proliferator's body. Even flying this close to it required numerous gravity-related calculations from the pilot, and he had to be ready to alter these calculations on the fly in the event the brute decided to move the position of its limbs. Organic brains generally ran into some issues when trying to math all of that out.
While an armada cleanup crew could be sent out easily enough to locate and annihilate the spawns in this sector if only their mature source were first removed, someone highly mobile had to be the one to move in to deal with the parent itself, and so the task fell to the android in the maneuverable little craft.
Exact physical details varied substantially from one adult Proliferator to the next, but video footage transmitted from a patrol of now-ruined federation cruisers (whose sudden destruction had been what led to Silence's deployment) showed that this specimen's exterior was relatively bulky for its species and covered in bright white scales that (rather unfortunately for the federal cruisers) caused laser weaponry to rebound. This reflective property made even_looking_ at the creature's massive body a difficult task, and the full-body shots in the video feed amounted to a glistening field of twinkling lights on a background of surreal whiteness.
Yet the result when firing explosive weaponry at the mature specimen was arguably even worse, causing large sections of the scales to chafe off like tiny asteroids (with a new coat regrowing on the surface immediately thereafter, rapidly seeding from the adjacent segments of scale). The scales dislodged in this way would then undergo rapid chemical changes and devolve into a rockier-skinned (and not normally generated by the creature) variant of the spawns with which Silence was now fighting. These special spawns were virtually immune to laser fire due to their continuing reflective properties and could only realistically be avoided or blown into non-viably small shards using additional rounds of explosive weaponry, which made them a frustrating distraction. Because of this, Silence had been clearly instructed not to fire explosives at the scaled portions, and would be following that order precisely.
The mature specimen possessed "wings" along its back as well, although they weren't wings in the conventional sense. They were more like two glimmering pillars against which the creature's back rested, and from those pillars an occasional chemical blast would happen, allowing the creature to direct its movement through the void. Mission Control had hypothesized that firing on these biological thruster-vents might be an option for damaging the creature, but in the end Silence's superiors had gone with the plan of targeting a different part of the alien's body - one which had proven itself to be quite vulnerable when dealing with adult Proliferators of any size or mutation. It was a part of the alien's body that lacked scales entirely - quite a large part, and one related to the swarm of lesser aliens that Silence's craft kept shooting down.
The labs formally referred to this vulnerable body part as the "Primary Proliferation Complex," but it was obvious to anyone looking at its anatomy that it resembled a giant penis - a vaguely humanoid one at that, although this particular one had a gradually tapering length and numerous small bulges along its surface - not exactly knobs, but pale little welty somethings, each about as big as the android's craft. The limited visuals of the member showed most of the length to be a pale gray, though the odd welts were lighter.
A very few frames from near the end of the footage suggested that, in this specimen, the smaller aliens drifted out from inside of those pale welts, which would periodically open to let the new spawns depart. If true, this would be fairly consistent with the federation knowledge-base from encounters with other Proliferators in the past. The Primary Proliferation Complex was always what dispensed a Proliferator's usual spawns, but the exact channels of their release varied considerably.
With all of this information fully in mind and ready to be used to his advantage, Silence carved deeper still into the swarm - and, after a few more tense minutes of lasers, torpedoes, and space-acrobatics, he cut a path deep enough through the creatures that the Primarily Proliferation Complex came into clear view. A message from mission control flashed across his augmented visual HUD: "WARNING, WARNING: TARGET APPROACHING."
A counter in the lower left corner of his HUD blinked a few times, cheerfully reminding Silence that there were two other ships just like his back at base waiting to be launched in the event that he got brutally destroyed. He boosted forward regardless, his lasers a blazing salvo of destruction as he drove through what remained of the wall of drifting alien blobs and approached the creature's weak point.
Of course, Silence's ship was about the size of a parasitic insect in comparison to the upward-curving monster-member ahead of him, and the monster itself was drifting away from him at a steady pace. Silence matched his ship's pace to that of the alien cock in front of him, and the direct battle between android and mature alien began.
Raining a barrage of standard laser shots down onto the alien cock (to see precisely what happened to the flesh upon contact) was standard procedure here, so Silence did that. The sound of his guns' staccato fire sounded through the cockpit in a way that confirmed he had the rhythm down, and as he swept low toward the member's slightly glans-like tip, he watched in high-alert perception and eager anticipation.
Every laser blast but one made contact, and the flesh of the member rocked slightly with each searing impact... yet, it appeared that something strange happened. He turned sharply away and viewed and reviewed the recorded memory of the shots in slow motion for analysis.
Silence had anticipated a flopping-away of singed flesh as the focused lasers burned their way through the skin and into the tissues below, but the results of his shots were not as expected. Instead, the recordings revealed that the surface of the penis only let out a brief gleam with the impact from each shot - a sheen-coat of yellowish-white light rolling across its surface for a split second after his lasers struck. The light emitted reminded Silence of the glinting of the creature's scales, with the notable difference that the lasers were not rebounding and by all indications had been at least largely absorbed by the skin, lack of apparent damage notwithstanding. Spectrum analysis of the light emitted by the sheen did not account for most of the energy the lasers had put in.
Not having encountered this particular strain of Proliferator before, but not letting that stop him, Silence took an investigative stance and continued pelting the member with lasers to see what would happen. Every so often he would get the chance to shoot fresh spawns as they emerged from the birthing holes. By doing this he kept the area in front of him clear of the drifting spawns.
The mature creature seemed to be feeling something from Silence's actions, albeit with a considerably delayed reaction, and lurched upward suddenly in a way that could easily have caused the ship to crash and burn against the member's surface, if not for Silence's reaction time: he veered out of the way and whirled his ship around to press the attack again, this time from the underside of the shaft. With each passing moment it also became clear that the member was elongating further, its size and length both increasing by around ten percent in response to the android's fire.
The underside appeared to have even more of the birthing nodes on it than the upper side had, and they were opening and closing as if they were valves controlled by a button that some humanoid child just couldn't stop pressing. The nodes parted; more spawns came out; Silence shot faster and faster.
Sensing however that he wasn't getting anywhere fast like this, and noting that his tiny ship's capacitor would soon need a breather, he did the next best thing and mentally spoke a single command to the ship's computer: Deploy S-108 Wasp Nest.
In perfect timing with this command, Silence flipped the ship so that its belly faced the member, and a small port opened to the ship's tiny cargo area - which might more accurately have been described as a payload area anyway under most circumstances. A swarm of sixty-four tiny drones emerged from the bay, launched out from a rig on the inside. Each drone possessed only the most rudimentary of propulsion and a single laser - but their onboard AIs allowed them to easily receive radio commands from Silence's brain about which targets to strike.
Thus, Silence's tiny backup fleet began pelting the spawns with the utmost urgency as they came, while the little ship weaved up and off to one side in order to attack the shaft from an angle less at-risk of being crushed if the creature bobbed its member suddenly up or downward again.
Load remaining S-R4 torpedo supply.
"Remaining" by this point consisted only five torpedoes. The tiny ship couldn't hold many, and they were used mainly for crowd control on missions like this one. He let loose two to clear off enough spawns in the distance to make his drones' job more manageable, before resuming pelting the cock with his ship's lasers.
Meanwhile, the cock had been feeling the occasional prickling from the drones' stray shots striking it, and those sensations had finally reached the Proliferator's brain. It swatted its member this way and that and brought its massive armclaws down to sweep the area as well. The majority of Silence's little drones got broken in the exchange, but fourteen remained and continued dutifully shooting as Silence ducked between the creature's arms and made another pass over the member's top.
Tyoo tyoo tyoo tyoo tyoo tyoo tyoo. Silence kept shooting at the upper surface, taking special care to shoot down a glowing red spawn just as it emerged. The resulting explosion detonated its individual birthing port and left the flesh gaping like an ulcer, but the rest of heat seemed to be absorbed in the cock's strange sheen. This gave the android an idea: he maneuvered near a particularly large clustering of the birthing ports and unloaded the remaining torpedoes at them. The resulting explosions burst the ports open as well as the spawns within, causing the flesh of the ports themselves to cauterize shut - or at least near enough to "shut" that further spawns could not get out.
Silence then tried to replicate this result using the conventional lasers, but found that basically impossible. Damaging the ports seemed to work, but it would take a heavier grade of individual blast to practically achieve a closure. Striking the exact same spot numerous times with his lasers was not particularly practical here, although his impeccable aim made it a possibility.
Of more immediate interest to the android were the possible damage-signs arising elsewhere. Slight visual differences in the cockflesh had been catching Silence's attention more and more as this battle of blasts, spawns, and lasers progressed, and now he took a moment to analyze this.
The formerly pale member was darkening in response to the weaponry directed at it - and turning a faint orange-red color. Now, with each successive, shimmer-inducing laser shot that he fired, the redness increased, and so too did the member's reactions. The bulge in size progressed up to around a 15% total increase, and the slight glans took on a more distinctive upside-down-bowl-shape as the throbbing motions accelerated.
With the acceleration of the throbs, so too did the number of spawns accelerate. The valves that had been opening and closing rapidly before now seemed to be dispensing an improbable number of the things at an even less probable rate. Not having many other options at the moment, Silence managed the threats as best he could before circling around with the intent to resume attacking the cock from below - just as the pains of his recent actions hit the creature's brain and it attacked the area above the member.
Silence's guns kept firing their heat at the member's underside while the lingering drones tried in vain to do most of the work of keeping the spawns down. As his fire continued the member's throbbing accelerated to a bizarre pace of four throbs per second, and the shade shifted from red-orange to a deeper, beet-red color.
Then the creature reacted in a way that gave Silence a small but serious problem: it accelerated the chemical processes that powered the biological thrusters on its back, and began accelerating away.
Silence's ship possessed a magnet for quickly re-gathering low-mobility drones, but in a situation like this he couldn't afford the capacity to activate that particular tool, and he knew the drones wouldn't keep up with the alien as they were, so he left them on their autotargeting setting and boosted away after his foe, taking care not to push his ship too hard. Fortunately, the boosters were among the best-optimized parts of his rig, and this taxed the capacitor fairly little.
The cock was turning beet red, and its tip was at long last starting to burpingly open and close, revealing for the first time that the creature had a urethra at all.
To Silence's unpleasant surprise, the member presently vented a massive wave of what looked like laser fire from his own ship - its spectrum analysis was very similar, anyway - .but condensed into a pillar-like wave of power that barreled through space toward him.
Silence's robotic reaction time barely got his craft out of the way, but get out of the way it did, and he darted forward to reach the member's surface. To his chagrin, he saw that the intensity of its color had lessened from beet red to merely an ordinary red - and was starting to show signs of orange by the time he got close enough to the member's surface to make it a sitting duck for his laser fire.
Rather than firing his lasers during most of this, Silence had merely been weaving his way around the spawns as best he could, only sparing a shot to take out a red, highly explosive one now and again.
And there had been a very good reason for that.
Ready S-1' Shear Cannon.
The top of the little vessel opened, just above the cargo hold, and out came a lengthy, tank-gun-like laser turret. which swiveled into position, secured itself flush and seamlessly across the porthole from whence it came, and swiftly linked up with Silence's cyberbrain. The android inserted a finger into the High Level Gunnery Control Port to gain a direct connection to the turret, with as little communicative delay as he could possibly have.
Charge Shear Cannon.
The HUD came alive with various minor alerts warning that the capacitor would empty itself in fifteen seconds at this rate. That was fine, as Silence only needed ten.
Down at the alien shaft the throbbing had slowed to two per second and the shape of the glans was losing some of its bowl-like dilation. Furthermore, whatever mechanism had allowed it to vent the heat would no doubt be recharging, and Silence had no intention of permitting it. He endured several more tense seconds as he weaved between spawns that the Proliferator now seemed to be more cleverly throwing in his direction by tilting and turning the member as spawns emerged. The HUD flashed another yellow warning: "SHEAR CANNON READY IN 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..."
The gun at the top of the little ship looked red and quite ready to explode, itself, by the time Silence let it loose - but once the shot was fired, the electrically motivated heat dispersed in short order.
Quite a shot it was. A stream of searing light to match the penis's own barreled downtoward the dorsal side of the the member, Silence taking the ship still-lower and nosing down a tad as the attack progressed in order to ensure as much coverage as possible. The cannon burned its way across many of the birthing holes, leaving them in a similar state to that of the ones that had been struck by torpedo fire or spawn-related explosions before.
But more importantly, the cock as a whole bulged and throbbed and turned red. It turned redder than it ever had before - and redder still.
By the time the Shear Cannon cannoned its last, the pulsing alien member had taken on the red of a dying star - and if the rapidly flashing sheen across its surface was any indication, it was on the cusp of a violent chemical reaction. The cockhead had turned bowl-like again and was swelling outward and downward in a strange pattern, as if its head were trying to force itself into the orblike shape of one of its own offspring. The numerous ports for dispensing offspring - those that hadn't already been cauterized, anyway - ceased releasing anything as the flesh around them swelled tightly shut.
The desperate red throbbing was settling into a metronomically regular eight beats per second. Silence kept firing with the conventional lasers, riding the edge of the ship's electrical capacity as best he could. After a few more blasts the lights from his next barrage of shots seemed to expand, filling the android's field of view. It was only after a moment's recalculation that he realized the continuing light was not from the lasers at all, but from the alien's flesh reaching the breaking point and glowing a brilliant white-hot before catastrophe broke loose.
A chemical chain reaction of stellar proportions was underway in the alien member's flesh. All over the cock's surface, the skin was splitting open with gaping, ulcerous sores and subsequent cauterization as the spawns inside overheated and exploded like chemically volatile hot-air balloons.
The redder, more destructive spawns were particularly brutal in this event, growing agitated and spitting their natural weapons erratically even before their bodies actually exploded. Silence watched as the same kinds of heated pellets he had been avoiding earlier began bursting forth from inside the parent monster, carving melty pinhole-paths through the cockflesh's interior and out through newly opened holes on the surface. Soon, the heat caused the relatively intact portions of the skin of the cock to flow like wax from a candle, gradually rolling along the member's surface toward its tip, guided in that direction by the ongoing violent throbs from the meat of the shaft.
The liquefied flesh remained next to the cock's surface and unable to drift off into space because of the creature's subtle gravitation, and the bowl-shape of the cockhead caught this soupy mess as it drifted along, heaping even more heat onto that already unstable part of the member. With a final shudder, the glans swelled beyond its limits and burst open, revealing cooked flesh below the surface and exploded urethral walls that oozed out broken bits of internally blasted spawns..
In space no one could hear the beast scream, but that didn't stop its body language from conveying the truth. The response started with agonized flinching but soon progressed into outright seizure as the slow reports of the pain made their way across the vast distances between the creature's extremities and brain, eventually reaching its nervous centers in a sustained stream of suffering. The flow of impulses proved so overwhelming that the creature soon began flailing both legs and arms around in erratic movements, thrashing in desperation at whatever insignificantly tiny opponent was responsible for this. Silence, with his craft as small as it was, was able to stick close to the member's surface without damage but had to stay mindful of the gravitic shifts resulting from the Proliferator's motions.
A quick survey of the ship's auxiliary sensors told Silence that the rest of the creature's body was following suit with the member's internal chemical catastrophe. Accessing a status menu on his HUD, he watched as his visualized estimations of the heat and damage across the creature's larger body shifted from a pristine, healthy green to dangerous red and orange in a matter of seconds. The changed color splotched its way across the image in an uptempo rhythm, following the chemical bursts as they hastened and spread.
Silence hypothesized that the volatile chemicals found in the spawns must exist elsewhere in this adult creature's body too - but ordinarily not get used on account of the coating of scales concealing their existence and protecting them from agitation.
The android took the ship's nose up, drifting high as the alien's left leg came up in another dangerously close spasm. On direct visual in front of him, the android now had a clear view of the the reflective scales of the creature's belly - as they distended outward from pressure and eventually ruptured open from the explosive loss of integrity in the flesh underneath. The scales lingered against the creature's skin, drifting this way and that from further blasts and sending out erratic glimmers of their reflected light as the surfaces danced and bobbed. Some of the scales thus damaged reacted by devolving into bulbous shapes to take on the role of the makeshift spawns that the previous federation ships had encountered - only to thereafter have their relatively brittle forms explode into tiny, snowflake-like bits as the chemical blasts in the skin nearby them continued. Judging by how much like clockwork this pattern continued, it didn't look like the cleanup crews would need to use too many torpedos in their work after all - if indeed a massive bomb didn't end up being the chosen cleanup solution. But that wasn't Silence's area, and he gave it no further thought.
The fireworks were ongoing as he passed over, with the flesh of the chest and belly transforming into a pockmarked mess of ulcerations over the next several minutes. The twitching and spasming gave way to increasing immobility as the body's systems fried themselves and shut down. No further mini-monsters were being discharged from any other part, and other than the scale shards and flesh-hunks being buffeted out by the series of chemical bursts, the massive monstrosity was fast becoming just another piece of space debris.
The tiny ship yawed out to evade the slumping chest and left arm, activated its thrusters, and zipped away while the creature's flailing and failing body drifted helplessly along. From the look of things, it would soon be safe for the cleanup crews to move in and take care of the remaining spawns.
The little ship's thrusters winked out for a moment before energizing brightly, and Silence wheeled his trajectory around and set a course for home, navigating across the monster's body as he did so in order perform final observations and to confirm death through his ship's scanners.
The Proliferator looked like one long series of interwoven craters in still roughly dragonish form, surrounded by a twinkling shower of rocky, exploded scale-dust. The member looked like a spent log from some resort-planet campfire, with its surface as pitted and darkened as it was with the rapid onset of what passed in these creatures for necrosis: a desperate attempt to convert what remained of the flesh into even more spawns to release in its dying moments - half-completed spawns which then became fuel for even further bursting and wasting of the flesh. The member remained, in a sense, but it was fast diminishing to look like little more than a malformed stick in comparison to its formerly imposing stature.
By the time Silence had passed fully over the body again, the life sign scans were fading entirely, leaving the carcass drifting as a testament to the power of a small, precise attack ship. Plenty of threats still existed in space, but this one had now been nullified, and the android's role here was done.
