Tera wondered where Roslyn and Sephya went off too. No one actually saw the two of them take off either. Actually she was a little upset if her cousin had put the moves on Roslyn while she was being silly with Pipes. Granted Pipes was the only one who would let her be silly and be silly with her. Cynthia could cause a little mischief as well, she was far more subtle about it.

The three of them headed back to the off world living quarters for the evening. Pipes and Cynthia, also had a two room condo, which embarrassed Pipes a little since he was not used to sharing a place with anyone. Tera wished them a good evening and headed up to the condo her and Sephya were sharing.

She cocked her head after closing the door, she thought she heard the shower running. Tera walked over to Sephya's room and listened closer, yes her cousin was in the shower. Tera headed to her room to change into her nightgown and run a brush through her long blond hair.

"I didn't hear you come in." Sephya said after poking her head in Tera's room.

"You were in the shower, I didn't want to startle you." Tera set her hair brush down. "Where did you go? You left without saying anything."

Sephya sat down on the bed next to her cousin. "I asked Roslyn to show me the Queen's Blade. We didn't want to interrupt your singing."

"Oh." Was all Tera said and blushed.

Sephya tried to stifle a giggle which made Tera give her an adorably dirty look. "You are so jealous right now."

"I am not." Tera grumbled and tried to hit Sephya with a pillow. Unfortunately her cousin had quick reflexes.

Now Sephya did laugh as she pranced away from Tera giggling and chanting "Tera is jealous, Tera is jealous..."

Tera grumbled and chased after Sephya with the pillow, her smaller size giving her the upper hand. Though Sephya grabbed another pillow to fight back happily teasing Tera as they bounced around swinging the pillows wildly. Tera let out a squeal as Sephya knocked her down on the bed, pinning her down.

"You don't have to be jealous, nothing happened. Still it is so damn cute." Sephya said her voice getting quieter as she spoke. She could feel Tera's two hearts beating quickly as she leaned rather close.

"You know, Roslyn does still have feelings for you. So don't completely give up." Sephya gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Pleasant dreams my adorable little cousin."

Tera blushed. "You too." She watched her cousin walk away, Sephya pulled the door closed behind her. It was a little bit before Tera moved to fix the now rather messy bed. After straightening the sheets and covers Tera sat down and brushed her hair again. The pillow fight had made a mess of it.

Roslyn had changed and was laying in bed, however sleep was not coming to her. Nodrog had elected to stay up in the lounge and shoot some pool, so it was rather dark in the apartment. Tera turned at the soft rap on the glass, she was very surprised to see Roslyn standing outside her door. She jumped up and quickly opened the door to let Roslyn in, the cool wind making her rather cold. "I know you are covered in fur but isn't it a little cold to be out dressed like that?"

Roslyn smiled. "Yeah, it is to cold out, but then I haven't been thinking clearly."

Tera quickly shut the door and the two of them walked over to the bed where Roslyn sat down. Sitting the otter was as tall as Tera. "Sorry, I shouldn't have pushed."

"No, I shouldn't have left like I did." Roslyn said with a smile. She was really happy to be inside Tera's warm bedroom. "Want me to brush your hair?"

The two of them moved to the center of the bed and Roslyn took the brush from Tera. She did not know what to say, or even what she was doing, but as she ran her fingers and the brush through Tera's hair it didn't really matter. Tera seemed to like it as they sat quietly for the time being.

"I hope my cousin didn't talk you into this." Tera said softly.

"Nope, I am here of my own accord." Roslyn said as she placed the brush aside and put her arms around Tera's slender waist.

Sephya giggled. "Well, when the other person knows what they are doing, it is a very wonderful experience."

Roslyn had left from the patio and made it inside the apartment before she was spotted. Of course Nodrog knew exactly what she had been out doing, the playful look in his eyes and that single tooth baring smirk was more than enough to tell Roslyn that. "Did you sleep well?"

"After the fact. I couldn't fall asleep until then." Roslyn said as she walked back to the bedroom. She needed a shower herself, although Tera was inexperienced Roslyn was not disappointed.

Nodrog met the Velopians at the front door of the off world housing. He had a small bus with him since there were now two more Velopians and Pipes was rather large. "Good morning. I hope you found the rooms acceptable."

Pipes smiled. "Mine was very acceptable."

"I thought Tera was exaggerating when she told us about them. I was pleasantly surprised to find she was not." Cynthia said.

"We modified this bus to hopefully accommodate you a little better than other human vehicles Pipes. You will have to use the back door though." Nodrog said and gestured to the rear of the bus.

Tera and the others boarded the small buss by the normal door. Pipes used the rear door which was wide since there used to be a wheelchair lift at the back. It still was not perfect, but Pipes managed and Tera of course giggled. For these practices they would be at the theater, the studio could not accommodate someone Pipe's size. They entered through the loading dock area, since it had taller and wider doors.

"This is certainly a lovely venue. I like that it has history." Cynthia said as they walked out onto the stage.

"At least there is plenty of room." Pipes chuckled as Tera happily bound over to a lovely looking doe anthro.

"Pipes and Cynthia this is Wednesday." Tera said as she introduced Wednesday.

"And I thought we would not meet any humans as lovely as you." Pipes said and kissed her Wednesday's hand.

"Tera has told us much about you, a pleasure to finally meet you." Cynthia said.

Wednesday had blushed at Pipes' comment. "If only we could have met after her performance on your world we were lucky enough to catch."

Ox was the only one who neared Pipes in height and broadness. Well, and Marko of course but he would meet Pipes and Cynthia later in the week. The studio had sent a few other musicians to fill positions since Tera usually had a big band behind her. Tera had gotten all of the rewriting done, so they had proper sheet music to read from.

The first practice went better than Tera had thought it would. She was not entirely sure if she translated the music correctly, thankfully it seemed that she had. As the first day drew to a close Tera was happy, and very excited. Part of that probably had to do with having the best sex of her life.

Tonight Tera slept alone though she did not feel alone. Of course having ate all of the pricklypiples a day ago might also explain why she fell asleep a little quicker tonight. That was one of the reasons she tried to avoid buying them for herself, she would just eat them all in one sitting. The next couple days were spent rehearsing and getting the show put in order. Lights and sound all had to be figured out and equipment moved and moved again. Because of Tera's tiny size, they put two large monitors on either side of the stage so people could actually see her from the back of the theater. Aside from a few very famous child actors, Tera was the smallest performer in recent history.

The night of the show Tera sat shy and quiet in the condo as her manager helped her get ready for the red carpet affair and mingling before the show. She was also a bit perturbed that a certain member of her band always got to miss the red carpet. Pipes never had to do it, ever. Even Cynthia would miss this one. Did anyone ask her? Of course not, they insisted on it.

Actually only three of them had to walk and pose for pictures. Wednesday, Nodrog and of course herself. All the others got to sneak in the back and avoid all of the photographers and questions. As Tera got out of the limo she found that not everyone got to miss the flash bulbs.

Alice turned with a smile and held out her hand so Tera would come over to her. Tonight Jenny and her were in matching black dresses and the two of them looked stunning. After Tera got within arm's reach, Alice put her arm around the young lady. "I am so glad someone famous is shorter than me. You look beautiful."

Tera blushed as pictures were taken. "It is nice to finally meet you in person. The two of you look lovely."

"I have been looking forward to seeing you for some time now. This is so exciting I do not know how you and Alice can stay so calm." Jenny said with a smile and her tail playfully swaying behind her. Her ears were also perky and turning this way and that, after all she was not famous among mortals.

As people called their names Tera smiled up at Jenny. "I hope you enjoy the performance."

"I am sure we will." Jenny said as her and Alice headed one way while Tera another.

Nodrog and Marko had arrived at the same time. Both taking a little enjoyment from the slightly shy and embarrassed Valkyrie on Nodrog's arm. Roslyn disliked this kind of thing even more than Tera. Roslyn was wearing the dress Jenny had gotten her for the gala they forced her to attend. Judging from reactions, most everyone certainly thought she looked lovely.

Sherman and Samantha were with them, since they were acting as body guards. Though they were both interested in the performance more so than work. Samantha looked stunning and in short heals was the same height as Sherman. Roslyn was impressed with how well Sherman cleaned up for something this fancy. He was as good looking as Nodrog, tall dark and handsome.

Nodrog turned to whisper in Roslyn's ear. "I agree, Tera does look angelic."

Roslyn spotted Tera and blushed. "What would your kitten and mouse say?"

"They would probably agree. They must already be inside." Nodrog said despite knowing exactly where Jenny was at this exact second. He had caught a glimpse of the pair earlier, they did look lovely.

They turned as someone said Nodrog's name. "Ambassador Sharn, so nice to see you somewhere that does not involve work."

Sharn smiled as he stopped next to them. "Indeed, it is a pleasant change. The lovely lady to my right is my wife, Genie."

"A pleasure to meet you Genie, allow me to introduce you to Roslyn White." Nodrog said and smiled more as he felt Roslyn get tense.

"The raven winged Valkyrie, this is truly an honor." Genie said with a soft alto.

Roslyn blushed from the formality. "It is an honor to meet you."

Their attention was again diverted as someone said Roslyn's name. The Amazon royal family was in attendance. Beatrice had spoken as she and her two daughters walked over to them. "I was hoping to see you here tonight, and a pleasant surprise to see you as well Genie."

"Always an honor your highness." Genie said.

The group headed inside since one of them was performing tonight. Roslyn spoke as she fought her own nervousness while they walked. "It is always nice to see and your daughters."

"I know tonight is for other things, but I would like to ask if you could spare some time tomorrow to discuss something. Actually if you are also free Genie." Beatrice said as they walked. Many surprised to see a woman as tall and fit as her.

"I am sure I can be available." Genie said.

"I always have time." Roslyn said not really knowing what the hell to say when in the company of a Queen of an entire race. She also blushed deeply as Nodrog gave her a kiss on the cheek in front of everybody.

Nodrog left Roslyn with the Amazon family and the two Velopians as he headed over to Winston. The younger Moor was visibly nervous with so many influential people present. The others also looked a little nervous and a little awe struck, there were some rather famous people present. "Trust me, it is acceptable to relax a little."

Winston shook his head. "I don't know how you do it, stay so damn calm at these things."

"I was doing alright until the Amazons walked in, they certainly are the ideal of female beauty." Brain said as the tip of his tail twitched happily.

"Personally I am just glad Ox has somebody to talk to, him and Pipes really get along good." Freddy said.

Nodrog chuckled. "They do have their similarities. There are five different races in attendance all of whom share a passion for music. Despite the vast distances between worlds and culture, we have found common ground."

Winston spotted Tera and Wednesday, the two lovely ladies were happily talking about something. "You know, its not the people that makes me nervous."

"Than what is making you nervous?" Brian asked.

"We are making history, we are the first band to play for aliens from far off worlds. I never, ever would have imagined this." Winston said and gestured to take in the crowd.

"If it helps we could blame it on your brother." Freddy chuckled.

They all laughed at that, Winston gave it a little more thought. "Why do you say that?"

"Well he did introduce us to a metal dragon, who has strange things happen to him or around him all the time." Freddy paused and looked up at Nodrog. "No offense, but some far out stuff has happened since you started coming around."

Nodrog chuckled. "None taken. I just have that effect, I guess."

Chapter.

Jenny and Alice found Roslyn quietly standing next to the punch bowl, she looked a bit nervous and a little lost. Jenny was still quite proud of the dress she bought for Roslyn, it fit the raven winged otter beautifully. Jenny hoped she looked that gorgeous when she was older, her eyes hungrily taking in every curve of the lovely otter.

For her usual nervousness about the collar, tonight Jenny had her hair pulled up allowing an unobstructed view of the pewter collar, especially the fact it had no clasp. There were a few people in attendance who knew what it really was and Jenny was showing it off. Actually besides the collar, the jeweled silver arrow in her right ear also drew attention from some. A blood slave honored by the Amazons was unheard of. Of course being rather friendly with Roslyn also silently said a great deal about the kitten.

Jenny kept her smile playful as she spoke up to get Roslyn's attention. "Good evening my Valkyrie master."

Alice only muttered under her breath while Roslyn clearly blushed. Jenny happily talked more. "You look stunning this evening."

Roslyn sighed as Jenny's tail flicked behind her playfully. "The two of you look lovely tonight. Alice, I guess your parents are watching Harley."

"Actually Jim and Carrel are watching her tonight. Mom and dad managed to get tickets for tonight, I haven't seen them yet though." Alice said as she ignored Jenny's teasing.

"Next time I will have to watch her, that way I can get out of these things." Roslyn said and sipped at the punch she had. Plus she found herself thinking naughty thoughts about Jenny who had gone out of her way to call Roslyn her master.

"I don't think Nodrog would let you get out of them that easily." Alice spotted the dragon standing by Winston and the other band members. He smiled as their eyes met for a moment, silently telling her that she was correct.

Eventually it was time to be seated and Alice could only imagine what had put Jenny in such a mischievous mood. Roslyn only sighed as Jenny insisted on sitting between Alice and her. It really didn't matter how the three of them sat, except to the little kitten. So Alice and Roslyn simply agreed to let her sit in the middle for whatever silly reason Jenny wanted.

Tera had to change now that she was backstage. Her formal wear was not suited to her music or playing instruments. Granted the part that took the longest was adorning all of the bells for the one song. With bells on and the costume that covered them Tera got up and walked to the stage.

Nodrog and the others had all taken their places on the stage. The dragon sitting at an elaborate grand piano while Pipes towered over him with his pipes. Cynthia making last second adjustments to her own attire as Tera walked to the microphone at the center of the stage.

Tera noticed the lights out in the seating portion of the theater dim. From somewhere a man spoke. "Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to introduce to you tonight, Tera Lightsong." After her name was spoken the curtains opened and a spot light fell upon her.

Tera simply started singing, those behind her only starting to play after she reached this song's chorus. Her light soprano instantly weaving her own magic on the crowd. She held them captivated by voice alone, not even the slightest hint of any nervousness. Granted this was a rare performance in that her parents were absent, putting Tera at ease.

As the second song started, Tera pulled the micro phone from the stand so she could move around. Careful to keep her steps light so not to jingle the bells that adorned her. To many she moved with a fluid grace that very few could emulate. Her song filling the theater with a lulling calm. She also needed to move so she could sit at an empty piano across from Nodrog.

The stage lights dimmed so only Tera and Nodrog were illuminated. The lighting was to designed to highlight their differences even more. Making Tera look a bit more angelic and Nodrog a bit more metallic and harsh. Tera's fingers lightly playing on the higher notes of her piano while Nodrog played the lower notes with a bit more force. It created a bit of a piano dual, though the song was titled 'One and the same'. Tera had wrote it before meeting Nodrog, he just happened to fit the darker parts of the song.

The piano piece was a musical argument of sorts, it was her own struggle with not just her physical change, but the mental change she was fighting with. Since it had brought out a few of her own demons. Not that anyone would understand, because to everyone Tera knew, they thought her flawless and innocent.

At the second part of the song Tera violently moved down to the low notes of the piano as Nodrog's heavy playing abruptly softened. It was a powerful and emotional song to begin with, adding the visual difference between Tera and Nodrog it was beautiful and heart wrenching. Due to the lighting and their vastly different characteristic, it made the switch in sound all the more powerful. For Roslyn and the other Valkyrie in attendance, it brought them to tears.

As the last notes of the third song faded the stage lights raised once again. Tera and Nodrog walked to the front of the stage and bowed. "Thank you for agreeing to play with me."

"No, thank you for asking me." Nodrog said softly before returning to the piano.

Tera bowed again and spoke. Her own performance ramble that was both cute and playful. She thanked Winston and the other human musicians for playing with her and introduced Cynthia and Pipes. Tera smiled as she also introduced Wednesday, since they would perform their duet next.

Though she did not know it at the time, the duet with Tera would get Wednesday her very own off world invitations to perform. Genie fell in love with the anthro singer from the single song. Wednesday had been moved by the piano piece, none of them had heard it before tonight. Because Tera knew Nodrog did not really need to practice anything, plus she liked having surprises for people.

The concert went on for another hour, with Tera both singing and playing different instruments. Since not all of her songs had vocals, still her voice when she sang was the only voice to be heard in the theater. No one spoke as she sang, they were all to captivated by her voice.

Tera smiled and nodded to Cynthia and Pipes, it was time for the final song. The stage lights dimmed leaving only the three Velopians in light. Cynthia helping Tera remove the bulkier part of her costume. She felt so much better with that part removed, it was now rather warm up on stage. The bells glinted in the light as the three moved and stood next to each other.

Tera took a breath and clasped her hands behind her before bucking to jingle the bells that she wore. Pipes and Cynthia picking up their instruments and playing as Tera sang about her change and meeting the other Valkyrie. Jenny put her arm around Roslyn as she was moved to tears again. Actually even Beatrice had been brought to tears, though she made sure no one noticed.

The stage went dark as the three bucked, bring their hooves down with a loud clack. As all the lights slowly came up, the crowd stood and applauded. Tera smiled as everyone came up to the front of the stage to bow. Though she herself was brought to tears as Nodrog brought out a bouquet of flowers he and Winston had picked out. She gave the metal dragon a hug before turning back to the crowd and bowing again, Tera also blew a kiss to the audience.

The audience remained standing and clapping as the curtains closed. Tera profusely thanked all the studio musicians and Winston's band for performing with her. As usual she exhausted herself after such a long performance, Nodrog put her on Pipes' back so the large Velopian could carry her out to the bus for the ride back to the compound.

Sephya had watched from just off stage and joined them for the ride back. It was a quiet ride since the little starlet was sleeping. Pipes had insisted on carrying Tera up to the room and Sephya was not in a position to argue with him. Not that she would, everyone knew how much the giant man cared about Tera.

With little trouble, Sephya and Tera's manager removed the bells and got her tucked into bed for the night. Sephya stood in the doorway after the manager had left. Sephya watched Tera as she slept, her cousin was so pretty and Sephya was really proud of her. Sephya was also a bit disappointed, she would have to join her sisters in arms once they returned home, she could not go with Tera to the Amazon world.

After several minutes, Sephya turned and headed to her own room. All though part of her was looking forward to getting back with her friends and out on the field once more. Because while she loved her cousin and traveling with her, Sephya loved being in her power armor. Really Sephya and a few of her sisters in arms were a little different than other Velopians, in that they actually reveled in the thrill of combat.

The augmented warrior had a little darker secret than even that. For Sephya was insanely jealous of Tera taking her second breath. She wanted to be changed, she wanted the longer life span and the magical strength that taking the second breath would give her. However what Sephya did not know, was that she was not alone in thinking that. Several Amazon wanted the same, even a few Velopian wanted it.

Tera had only two more performances and they went by a little too quickly for her liking. Also not to her liking was only getting to be in Roslyn's arms one other night. While she wanted to keep Roslyn all for herself, Tera knew she could not compete with the Iron Dragon on that front. The two of them really were soul mates in the most remarkable way possible. So Tera was sad for selfish reasons, she would be forever grateful for the two nights she did get to spend with Roslyn.

The raven winged otter had opened Tera's eyes to several things, including how enjoyable sex really could be. Tera kept the irony to herself as the weather had really turned cold and overcast the day she had to say goodbye to Roslyn and the others. The young Velopian was surprised to see Winston and the band had come out to see her off. The gesture really made her feel welcomed and loved.

"We should do this again." Tera said as she looked up at Winston.

Winston smiled warmly. "You are welcome in our club any time. It was a pleasure to perform with you."

Roslyn was the last one Tera said goodbye to. "I am so glad we got to spend some time together."

"I know I enjoyed myself. I look forward to hearing about your adventure on the Amazon world." Roslyn said before bending down to kiss Tera on the cheek. "Take care my little Valkyrie."

Tera smiled. "I will."

With that, Tera happily ran over to the others and they all waved goodbye once more before turning to disappear into the starship. The ship would head for home and after a short stay, it would take Tera and her band to the Amazon world for a two month long tour there. She would not perform with any Amazon musicians, this trip would be just the Velopians playing at several venues on the Amazon world.

Roslyn watched the ship rise and make its way slowly higher before it was gone in the blink of an eye. Tera would be on her home world before she had even turned to walk away. She was a little sad to see Tera go, the few days and two nights they spent together were wonderful.

As Roslyn walked to the main building her thoughts turned to an event the former Amazon Queen had spoken to Genie and her about, a yearly Valkyrie meeting. They now numbered twenty, mostly Amazon or Velopian, though there were a few other races mixed in now. Two others lived here on Earth with Roslyn, the three of them would meet shortly after the new year.

While Roslyn went about putting in for time off, Nodrog was helping DJ work on Alice's car before Alice jumped in to qualify. All he was really doing was holding something heavy in place while DJ got a few bolts started. This was the last race of the GT season, Alice did not even have to finish the race and she would still take the championship.

Alice was excited for this last race, though it had a few low points, the race season had gone rather well. Plus she had gotten a call from David, the two trophy trucks, two engines and two transmissions had been loaded into a transporter and were in route to the shop. Joe would have a little bit of a surprise in a couple days when that truck showed up to unload. Since she had not told anyone her intentions of competing off road next year. Though Alice did exchange a couple of phone calls and e-mails with the factory off road driver, after the trucks were tuned and painted they would go out for some practice runs.

Alice smiled as she walked over to the viper where Nodrog and DJ were still finishing up some work. There was just a slight chill in the air on the wind, fall was here to stay and winter would not be too far behind. "All set?"

DJ was tightening the last bolt down. "Just finished." She rolled out from under the car and took Nodrog's hand to help get off the creeper. "Well here we are last race of the season."

"Yup. Couldn't have done it without all of you." Alice said and put an arm around DJ.

"So what happens next year?" DJ asked feeling a little down. No one had said anything about what Alice would be doing after this season. At least they still had the off world race to go to, which she was looking forward to.

"Oh I am sure something will come up. There are the invitation only races I always like going to." Alice turned as Wes walked over. "Plus I still gota keep beating Wes."

Wes could only chuckle. "Today you have to beat Carly, she laid down a wicked time. The girl is on fire this round."

"She has been doing well after the accident, I am so glad she didn't give up." Alice said.

"Time to get out on track." Nodrog said as he closed the hood and pined it.

"Good luck." Wes said and headed to the trailer with his equipment. He wasn't going to beat Alice in the points race, but he still might beat Carly. So he kicked back in the living quarters of the trailer and watched Alice qualify. He had always known Alice was one of the best, but as time went on Wes was starting to think that Alice simply was the best. She was like her father and was more than just talent and luck.

While Alice ran her laps, Wes wondered what would happen if she won a third off world race. The chances were astronomical because the last two were down to hundredths of a second. As the years had gone by, he still had lingering feelings for Alice. She was his first steady girl and there was no doubt that Alice was a sexy little road demon. Of course Alice was the first one who had thought he could be better than some mob boss errand boy.

Unsurprisingly, Alice bumped him out of second and into third. At least she didn't take the pole position from Carly. Wes needed wins, and championships, the shop needed the wins and championships. Granted Alice was running on her own, the car was still built by the shop. The only thing that made losing to Alice painless, was she was a humble victor. There were other drivers who were a bit too smug and arrogant to win or lose gracefully.

With qualifying all finished it was time to call it a day. Dinner was BBQed goodness courtesy of big Joe and Ron manning the grills. Though Alice had to settle for grilled vegetables while the others devoured meat and a few veggies. Besides spending time with her fellow gear heads, Alice was always happy to be with her friends and extended family. Since she considered all the people at Joe's shop family. She also found it amusing when DJ asked for dating advice after little Joe told DJ that he loved her.

The wafting smell of food had drawn Carly and her crew down to Alice's trailer. It just so happened that they had a little extra so Carly grabbed a plateful before sitting down next to Alice. It still made Alice a bit sad since Carly's fake leg was on display since her friend was wearing shorts. Because if not for Nodrog and Lilith, she might be in the same position and Alice was sad because neither monster could have saved Carly's leg
