Earth, it once seemed so big and then as man advanced, as populations grew it became smaller and smaller. As man set foot into space, colonised Mars our homeworld seemed smaller and yet far more precious. A shining gem at the heart of our civilisation. In the year 2535 Mankind finally breaks the light speed barrier, discovers other solar systems. No planets are like Earth though, none of them can harbour life.

They need terraforming, by people such as Zack's ancestors. They chose to live an a planetoid, scarely big enough to be a full fledged planet. Mining the rock for precious metals and minerals, the planets humanity found were hard to live on. Until a collection of scientists came up with gene therapy, allowing humans to take on the forms of other animals along with their abilities. Increased strength, agility along with other attributes they could add in, the ability to survive in low O2 environments, desserts far harsher than anything on Earth.

However, these abilities come with a price, once morphed you can never go back and you can never breed. Well as our hero Zack has done you can have a pot of semen of an ovary frozen to breed later. There is also the risk of feral bleedback, animalistic traits bleeding into you changing your personality, changing your wants and desires. With each choice there is a different risk.

Zack knew all this, he had waited until his eighteenth birthday to start his life. Growing up on a tiny farm, built inside a dome desperately trying to grow enough food to feed their neighbours. No planet but Earth found growing food easy, the elite on Earth trade food and water for precious metals, minerals, technology at one hundredth their price. If the colonists could ever finish fully terraforming their worlds they might escape the taxes of the old small homeworld.

Desperate to maintain control over the colonies Earth tries to bankrupt them one by one, to buy them up and claim them as their own. The colonies existence balances on a knifedge, their one lifeline a fleet of pirates, they board imperial vessels steal food and water cargo and sell it too the colonists, for great profit and yet for a fraction of the cost that the elitists would charge.

Zack hates the elitists, but mostly he just hates his home, he grew up on a rock living inside tiny domes, afraid to go outside where the atmosphere is so thin he would choke to death in a few minutes. He wants to grow to stretch his legs and the only way to do that is to become something else. Sitting in the lobby of a splicer Zack flicked through a magazine looking at the different species he could become. He had saved and was also able to afford a graft of genetic memory as part of his splicing. This would allow him to instantly learn a technical field and to become an expert in a one field. Narrowing down his choices he has just 4 species and four potential technical fields he tries to decide what he should take.

Brown bear:

Strength and size, physical combat or feats of strength made easy. Warm fur to survive the colder planets. Enhanced sense of smell.

Risks: Increased sexual dominance 40%, increased aggression 30%, increased lusts 25%, reduced intelligence 20% increased sexual submission 5%

Rabbit:

Agility and dexterity, speed unmatched, better suited to lower gravity. Amazing hearing.

Risks: increased sexual dominance 10% increased aggression 5% increased lusts 60% reduced intelligence 5% increased sexual submission 40%

Wolf

Increased strength and agility, excellent sense of smell. Enhanced night vision.

Risks: Increased sexual dominance 30% increased aggression 25% increased lusts 30% reduced intelligence 15% increased sexual submission 15%

Lizard- iguana

Cold blooded, increased resistance to heat, good agility and dexterity.

Risks Increased sexual dominance 20% increased aggression 25% increased lusts 35% reduced intelligence 5% increased sexual submission 25%

Engineer- Zack would be able to take apart any machine or engine and put them back together better than they were. Doors and locks will no longer be a problem

Computer skills- ability to program or hack A.I, in todays world with so many robots and A.I. programs these abilities will be highly desired.

Combat specialist- military grade combat training, equivalent to any special forces training, expert marksman and hand to hand combat training.

Pilot skills- ability to fly and drive all vehicles, combat fighter pilot level training.

With each species there is a list of potential feral attributes that may bleed through into Zacks character. For whichever species wins I will use a random number generator on each of those attributes and should any of those be less than the percentage (i.e. if the percentage is 40 and I roll 35) then Zack's personality will be permanently alerted. Below is a list of what happens for each one

Increased sexual dominance: Zack will never be a willing bottom, he will have to be in control of every sexual situation. He is more likely to be the seducer than the seduced.

Increased aggression: Zack will start fights far easier, he is unlikely to take backtalk and may get himself or his friends into trouble.

Increased lusts: Zack will think about sex first, he will fuck anyone that is willing and if linked to aggression he may fuck someone less than willing if he gets the chance.

Reduced intelligence: aside from the skills granted from the genetic graft he will not learn quickly and will struggle with many tasks. Lower social skills are also linked to this.

Increased sexual submission: Zack will bend over for everyone, he won't ever top, he will be a good little sub. He will find it hard to resist a dominant partner and is more likely to succumb to aggressive seduction.
