Kristoffer's redemption chapter 11 second chances

it was well into the after noon when Kris and Blaze finally stopped playing checkers. but the day was far from over. "hey Kris you stay right here and I'll be right back okay?" Blaze said as he stood up and went to another room leaving Kris alone for a bit, Kris sat down like a good boy and waited for Blaze to come back, as he sat he looked around the apartment taking in the place; he thought to him self that when he graduated he would look into getting a place of his own like this one, he was soon pulled from his thoughts as Blaze came back in and set his diary and his pen down in front of him with a wink. "really? two entries in one day? ha-ha your smothering me!" Kris said with a laugh as he unlocked the book and wrote in it again

October 2014 Hey diary, its me again. I know twice in one day, I'm smothering you! ha-ha but it's Blaze's fault! any way, we just got done playing checkers for the ubteenth time lol, he's rely good at this game diary! he won 6 games and I only won 4! ha-ha, but oh well that's fine with me, I'm just happy to be having fun as a boy and not a girl. it was very nice of him to bail me out for a while, but I feel bad for how I treated Jennifer before we left. when he takes me home I'm gonna apologize to her, she was just trying to help me after all. I hope she gives me a second chance. but now that I think about it, when I left my own parents it was somewhat on the same sour note. I slammed their door in their face and told them I hated them, I'm starting to feel bad for it. but maybe that's what's supposed to happen at this point, to make me think about my parents and maybe try to make amends. I'm not angry at them any more. I wanna tell my mother, tell my father, I've done the best I can, to make them realize this is my life, I hope they understand, I'm not angry...not any more. and dairy I'm not angry at Jennifer any more either. Well Blaze is waiting for me. ill tell you more later on. see you later diary.

Kris then closed the cover and locked the book up again and capped his pen, then handed them back to Blaze who took them and put them back from where he had gotten them from and then came back to the living room with Kris. "well pup, what do you wanna do now? the nights still young you know." Kristoffer pondered this for a little while then he sighed and looked up at Blaze "Jennifer is expecting me back tonight isn't she?" he asked with a note of sadness in his voice. "yes she is pup. so you know what that means. don't you?" Kris sighed and nodded in response. "yes I do." "well. we can go back when ever you feel your read." Blaze said as he scratched Kris's head behind his ear making the young fox murr in delight. "yea ill go back now....I guess." Blaze nodded and patted him on the head, and picked him up and carried him out to the SUV and buckled him into the front seat and Kris wrote his final entry in his diary on the way back to Jennifer's house

October 2014 hey diary, its me again, its gonna be a while before i can write again. but i think you'll be happy to know that I'm going to be apolgizing to Jennifer when i get back to her house for how i acted. and i just hope that she isn't mad at me. well see you later.

after he finished his third entry for the day he capped his pen and locked the book up again and put it back in the glove box again, and before he knew it they were pulling up infront of Jennifers house. Blaze got out and walked around to Kris's door and unbuckled him and watch him walk to the door. and ring the door bell, when jennifer answered she smiled and hugged Kristoffer tightly then led him inside to Shila's nursery and changed his clothes int a pink dress and matching maryjanes with white socks and frills on the top fo them. then she started to lead him back out but Kristoffer stopped at the door and tugged Jennifer's skirt to get her attention. "jennifer. im sorry. for how i acted, it was rude and uncalled for and...im sorry." Kristoffer said as his ears flattend a lil bit as a sure sign of his disappointment in him self, and Jennifer smiled and rubbed the back of his head petting him gently makeing him mur in responce. "its okay dear. i did spring it on you suddenly. and in all honesty your responce wasnt far from what expected, just we thought that short of outburst would come more from Shila than you. but its okay." "so your not mad?" Kristoffer asked looking up at her with a sad look, and Jennifer shook her head with a smile and then rolled her eyes at him and giggled at him a bit. "Kris we upset you, w should have seen your outburst comeing." Kristoffer nodded in understanding, and hugged Jennifer tightly, "my eyes are open wide, i understand now. even the man in the moon disappers some where in the stratispher." Jennifer nodded and smiled at him and pet him again. "thats right pup. your absolutly right. im proud of you." "and...now im not afraid of what i have to say to my parents. if i ever see them again.....i think im starting to understand...why they were so hard on me." "no pup. the propblem wasnt with you. it was with them. they couldnt accept their son for who he was and they tryed to change the best parts of you. and that was when things went from bad to worse for you. always rememeber kristoffer. sometimes good bye is a second chance."

Kristoffer nodded in understanding to his caretaker and hugged her tightly again then he smiled and ran off to the playroom to play with shila, when he got to the playroom she was busy trying to figure out how to place the train rails. Kristoffer smilled and walked over and started helping her out as if he had been there the whole time and she went allong just smiling and then finnaly she gave him a hug. "you know Shila, you look really cute in those overalls." Kristoffer said with a giggle and Shila blushed an nodded "don't take this the wrong way but...i think your addorable in that dress." and they both shared a good laugh and then smiled and hugged each other. "dont worry Shila, we will get through this program and graduate in time." "yea kris. were so close but so far away." "we live and we learn, to take one step at a time." they said in unison and then laughed and continued working on the rail way.
