Escape
#1 of 2372: The Emergence
"We have to make it to the elevator!"
The clatter of the group's feet echoed down the corridor, and for a moment it looked like they were in the clear. No sign of pursuit, and thanks to well placed C4 charges most of the security grid was down for awhile if not dead. Lucien grinned to himself, as he held the package that they had been sent to 'retireve'.
"Wipe that grin off." Aros barked, holding his assault rifle up in the air. His reptilian claw resting on the trigger. "Just because we're in a good position doesn't mean a damn thing."
Drake turned to look down the hall holding his long range rifle in his claws. "Still no sign." He touched the side of his helmet activating his Comm. "Korryn? Do you hear me?"
Over the crackling static, he heard a sultry female voice speak on all their channels. "Cap'n, I thought you, Lucian, an' Aros were dead."
Aros pressed the communication's button. "Lou, Just get the damn ship ready to leave or we'll all be dead!"
"Aye, will do. Do you have the package?"
Aros was about to say something to her, but Drake beat him to it. "Yes, now be prepared there maybe some resistance."
"Korryn and I will man the door and wait for you. We'll--" The rest of her words were cut out by the hail of gunfire from behind.
"SHIT!" Aros screamed as a bullet ripped past his shield and buried itself into the back of his thigh. He managed to hide behind one of the metal bracer's of the space station's inner hull, clutching his fast bleeding wound. Drake threw Lucien into the side hall, and took cover at the corner. He fired off a few blind shots with his rifle.
Aros leaned out with his assault rifle, flipped the switch and fired. A grenade shot from the larger barrel below his gun, and flew down the hall.
"Grena-" A deafening explosion drowned out the rest of the words, and the hall was silent.
Drake raced over to Aros; Lucien leaned around the corner to watch for anymore hostiles.
"...Fuck." Aros grasped the bleeding wound as the blood pool around him expanded. "He hit my artery, I think."
Lucien looked closely from his corner. "It looks like he is indeed, right. We have to get him help quickly or he'll die. Use this." Lucien pulled from his side pack a large syringe and tossed it to Drake.
"It's okay, we'll patch you up on the ship. This will buy us some time." Drake jammed the syringe into the side of the thigh. Immediately, the raging flow of blood started to slow to a trickle.
Drake slung his rifle over his shoulder, slid his hands under Aros's body and lifted him up. Aros wrapped his hand around Drake's neck and brought his lips close to the side of Drake's helmet. "You should just leave me behind, I'm going to bleed out."
"Don't say that!" Drake snapped at him. "I won't let you die here." Aros shook his head and started to relax in Drake's arms, his gun held loosely in his left hand.
"Cap'n! You there?" Lou's voice shouted over the Comm.
"What's the quickest way back? Aros is shot!"
"Damn it, I told him to recharge his shields. Gimme a second." The sounds of the control panel beeping echoed over the line. "Alright, your best bet to get back is through the promenade. It's a straight run from there, but the security is going to be tight. If you get into a fire fight, you'll be locked up until we can back you up. It might be better if--"
Suddenly, Aros's head dipped backwards sharply and his eyes rolled back into his head. His rifle clattered to the floor and brought Lucien into action. He moved up to him and lifted his head. "He's going into shock." Lucien leaned back and saw the crimson blood dripping to the floor. "and still bleeding heavily."
"It's our only choice Lou! He's dying."
"Alright, Cap'n. Just head right at the next corridor, and follow it until it ends. It should dump you out in the Promenade. We'll be waiting. Good Luck, Lou out."
"Lucien grab his rifle. We'll needed it."
Lucien snatched the red and black rifle off the floor. "I regret that I don't know quite how to use the damnable thing."
"Point and shoot." Drake motioned to the corridor on the right with his head. "Let's go!"
Drake and Lucien made their way down another long corridor and twisted off to the left until it finally broke out into the large domed center of the Lambda Station's Promenade. Various races gathered at the local markets, and talked shop. Most of them moved away when they saw Drake's blood stained suit, and Aros's bleeding body as they made their way through the crowd. Cars of various types lined the road, most of them newer versions, however Drake recognized one as an older and still hackable model.
"Lou, You there?"
"Sir? There's no sign of trouble on this end."
"I need you to make a distraction on the Eastern District."
"I thought ahead and made an arrangement while I was C4'ing the Comm and Security Towers earlier. I thought we would use it to create a distraction while I hack the Shippads to release us from here. It seems you need it now though. It should be a big enough distraction."
"Give us twenty seconds then detonate it!"
"Aye."
"C'mon," Drake shouted to Lucien, as he ran up to the car with Aros, still unconscious, in his arms. He leaned back and gave the back window a hard kick and the glass shattered. The alarm started to blare attracting the attention of the entire market. "Hack it, Lucien."
"I was planning on it." Lucien set his assault down, and pulled out what appeared to be a small PDA from his side pack. He reached in and placed it next to the locking mechanism. Immediately, it whirled to life and started to sequence-hack Numbers. In the distance, an explosion shook the station sending all of the people in the market street into a panic that caused the military that had been searching for them to focus upon the surrounding area and quelling the riots. Seconds after, the door unlocked and Drake laid out Aros on the back seat. He hopped into the front throwing his long range rifle in the seat next to him.
"Almost forgot this." Lucien grabbed his assault rifle and got in back to wrap the wound with what little clean cloth was in the car.
Drake pressed the pedal and the car accelerated forward and down the street in front of them towards the docking bay. The buildings whipped by in a haze, as Drake pressed the pedal a little harder. "How's he doing back there?!"
"I've managed to stabilize the wound but he's lost a lot of blood." Lucien poked his head between the two front seats. "Just get us there in-- shit. They've already blocked us off."
Drake turned back to the road. Warning lights flickered off in the distance, signing a roadblock was up ahead. As Drake rounded a corner towards Docking Bay 8, the road ahead was blocked off except for an incredibly slim section along the side.
"Hold on!" Drake slammed the accelerator to the floor with a loud thump and the Vehicle raced forward towards the small space. The sound of the roaring engine immediately alerted the guards and their assault weapons sent thousands of miniature projectiles towards the car, piercing the thin metal body.
Lucien jumped at the sound of metal squealing and shrieking up against the wall. They shot past the jet black military truck, throwing it forward a bit. Drake bit his lip as he stared into the dashboard mirror. The soldiers were loading up into the truck bed to pursue.
"Drake!" Lucien suddenly shouted from the back of the car pulling away his attention. "We need to hurry. I just lost Aros's pulse!" He jumped onto his chest, and started CPR as best as he could.
"Someone respond." Drake shouted as he pressed the button on his helmet, changing the channels. "SOMEONE!"
"This is Korryn. What's Wrong?!"
Drake pressed the pedal forward again as he saw the faster military vehicles tear around the corner after him. "We're being pursued and Aros's heart just stopped. Be ready to get the hell out of here. Have the engines started. This will be close!" The car jerked forward suddenly, as the one of the jet-black trucks rammed his back end.
"Bastard!" Drake roared, as another one of them tried to ride up on his side. He threw the wheel to his right, slamming into the vehicle. It retreated back to the pack that was still on their heels.
Drake again threw the wheel as the final turn came up. The sudden flurry of motion surprised most of the drivers, and they missed the turn. There was only one that made it, and they came close behind in the small alley.
The sharp staccato of machine gun fire echoed behind them, and everyone held their heads down as the glass behind them shattered. Drake gave another sharp turn, sending them skidding up near the entrance of the ship. The black truck stopped shortly before and the soldiers poured out of the bed of it and into hiding among the various boxes.
Korryn and Lou laid down cover fire with their handguns. Lucien stumbled in first, exhausted from the CPR. Drake lifted up Aros's limp corpse, and ran as fast as he could in the open space between him and the ship. A powerful burst echoed behind him, and a sniper bullet shot into his shoulder. He gasped but never let go of Aros's body. He leaped into the ships door, and rushed down to the Clinic. Where he found Lucien ready with paddles. "Set him down here." He motioned to the Medical Bed. "I'll work on him, and you work on getting us out of here alive! I'll patch you up later."
Drake nodded slowly, not even really realizing that he was bleeding all over. "Captain." A voice on the ships intercom echoed through the vessel. It seemed so light and far away. "I can't get us out the Shippads are holding us too tight." He turned away slowly from the resuscitation scene and walked up to the main deck.
"Drake! What are you doing?!" Korryn shouted from her comm panel as she saw him climbing into the turret platform. Before she could get out another word, Drake had already begun the interface sequence. He laid out upon the platform that was shaped like a reclined chair, and grimaced as a sharp needle stabbed into the back of his head and intertwine with his nervous system. He closed his eyes and the turrets outside roared to life and began to fire rapidly at the braces. Within moments, the braces had been broken free and the ship veered away from the port. The needle withdrew from his skull, but the mental fatigue of concentration had burned out his mind and blackness washed down over him.
Drake sat up quickly. For a moment, he wondered if it had all been a dream, until he realized he was in the medical bay. His eyes rolled over to the bed next to him, and Aros sat there with a boyish grin. He was stripped down to his overly tighten boxers. Drake's shoulder gave a sharp pang as he slipped out of bed and moved towards Aros. "I- I thought you had died."
"I could tell..." His grin started to fade. "You knew about how the Platform worked, and that you could kill yourself easily on it. It was a cop out, why'd you do it?"
"I couldn't stand the thought of losing my best friend."
Aros moved so close that Drake could feel his breath. "It wasn't until this most recent incident that I realized I might not get another few years in. I had to tell you this now or I might not ever get to. I've never felt this way about anyone before..." He paused for a moment to collect his thoughts. "I think I love you, Drake."
What Aros said, hit him hard, because he had been wondering if he, too, was in love. Being friends for years, there were a few times where they almost had an intimate moment. Occasinally He fantasized about the male.
"I.... love you, too." He wrapped one palm around the back of Aros's neck. Bringing them so close that their hot sexes touched beneath their boxers. Aros instinctively rested his hands on Drake's sides.
Aros's mouth opened in an invitation, and Drake's lips slowly pressed up against it... Their tongues slipped in. Drake was aroused by the touch of Aros's soft reptilian skin, his sex started to harden under his own boxers.
Aros felt the hard rod pressing against him, and pulled his lips away from Drake. "Wanna fuck?'
"In here? Lucien could be anywhere."
"Nope, we're resupplying and he's organizing the cargo." He ran one hand across Drake's face. "He'll be busy for hours."
"I don't know, Aros."
"Let me show you what you'd be missing if you didn't do me here." Aros rotated around and slipped his boxer's off, casually flicking it away with his tail. "You know you wanna now." He rolled his tail to one side.
Drake eagerly slide his own boxers off, and moved up to the chiseled rear. He ran his cock up and down over the tight hole, grinning as he heard Aros moan. He was fully hard now, and the hole was tempting. He put the tip of his head to it, and slowly pushed in. Immediately he was hit by the hot insides as they tensed and released with each inch.
Aros groaned and dug his claws deep into the medical bed he was resting on. "Fuck yeah." He grunted as Drake pulled out to his tip and pushed back in.
Drake closed his eyes and continued to thrust, throwing his body into each push, rattling the medical bed at its frame. He opened his mouth, as the tickle of precum running from his cocktip surprised him. He gave another hard grunt as he felt something snake-like penetrating him. He looked to his side and saw Aros's tail wrapping around him, but his attention was pulled away.
Drake groaned as his cum started to rush from him in hot milky gushes, and his head rolled backwards as warm pleasure filled him with ecstasy.
"Fuck." Aros's groaned as he felt the cum run down from his hole and drip off his left ball. He felt the cock being pulled out. "Drake, you should keep going while you're hard."
"We don't have much time, besides..." Drake turned around, and slapped his rear. "I want you to go."
Aros grabbed his hard cock. "Bend over."
Drake bent over the medical bed, and grunted hard as Aros rammed him with his massive cock. Each slapped forced the air out of him, and left him speechless. Drake's mouth fell open as he felt another ramming, Aros's hand grabbed the back of Drake's neck to steady himself. He slammed Drake's rear hard, and it echoed in the room like a gunshot.
Aros groaned louder and louder as his orgasm approached. The deep slapping of his hot thighs against Drake's butt excited him. He cummed. Warm waves of white juice spilled into Drake, and lubed the tight ass.
Drake sat up as he felt Aros withdraw. "Did you enjoy me?"
"Yeah, we have to do this again soon." Aros said with a smile and a slap of Drake's rear. He slipped on his boxers. "I have to go attend to reloading the laser core, and other duties."
Aros faced the door. "Unlock Med Bay Door-- Aros." The computer beeped and the door slid over
"How about in my bedroom every night until we arrive at Centauri?"
Aros grinned. "Will do."
