A Strange Forest
Sometimes what you are looking for is right in front of you.
Through the strange forest and under an unsettling sky, I continued to search for my roommate, a buff stallion named Clay. I had been searching so long that I had become lost myself; I didn't even remember how I got here or where this forest even was. The trees were the same shade of dark brown, with no leaves. Looking up for the canopy, the sky didn't seem quite right either. The sky itself seemed to have a repeated texture, but it must just be a trick of the clouds. Clay and I had known each other for over a year now, but we had just recently decided to move off campus and get an apartment together. The Andalusian stallion's love of fitness went well with my love of the outdoors, so we built our friendship over a series of long walks. I always wanted us to be more than friends, but I couldn't deal with rejection, especially if he would take offense to that kind of relationship. We never talked about those kinds of things. While jogging or working out I would always catch a glance at his crotch or ass, but I didn't want to arouse any suspicion about my sexuality. I had repeatedly tried to sniff out where he had gone, but his scent seemed to be everywhere. Giving up, I decided to travel down into the valley. As I continued deeper, the air became much more humid, and smelt unpleasant, like I was getting into a swamp. Suddenly, the ground began to shake and it felt like a hurricane blew by. I grabbed on to one of the trees as the world began to shift around. I dangled precariously from the strange tree as the sky fell away to an impossible distance and the whole forest now stood perpendicular to where it once was. I struggled to focus on vast objects on the horizon of the "forest", but that proved impossible as everything began to move once more. After a terrifying series of quakes, everything finally settled down. Everything was upside down, and there was a dim light from somewhere beyond the landmass I was on. As my eyes adjusted, I could see an ocean directly below me, but something ominous also became clear. The entire ocean was surrounded by massive bleached walls. At this point, I realized that things were not as bizarre as I had thought; I was just seeing them from a very strange perspective. As if to punctuate this revelation a waterfall of urine began to gush forth into the bowl below. Clay let loose another fart and I failed to hold a grip on his hair. As I fell, I admired my friend's ass one last time before hitting the water. I braced for the inevitable impact but suddenly found myself laying in my bed, with Clay staring back at me. "It sounds like you were having a nightmare. I heard you calling for me in your sleep. I also noticed your computer was on... and I sort of looked at your journal while waiting for you to wake up...I love you too."
