Something New
#7 of The Silence of the Savior
Chapter 7
He opened his eyes, suddenly unsure of where he was. Propping himself up on his elbows he looked around and found it to be his room. Had he been dreaming? There was a strong smell in the air, but as he continued looking around the room, nothing seemed out of place. But then he spotted it. The bathroom door in his bedroom was closed... He never left it closed...
Suddenly there was a flushing sound, followed by running water. Staring, eyes wide, he watched the door open and a beautiful Red Wolf immerge from the white and peach tiled room. Her own eyes were wide when she left, totally awe-struck by the size of the bathroom, even before she looked in the shower. Turning back to the bedroom, her eyes locked with the wide brown ones of the naked Rottweiler propped up on his bed, staring at her.
Looking her up and down, her blush deepening, back in his just-long-enough grey shirt, paws fidgeting in front of her. A smile slowly worked its way across his face as he remembered, moment by moment, when had happened that morning when he came back from the laundry room. Her blush only deepened, almost blending fully into the stretch of red fur on the top of her muzzle.
"Come here." He patted beside him on the bed. Hesitantly she scooted one foot paw in front of the other, till she was finally at the side of the bed. Holding the shirt to her hips, she turned and sat down before lifting her feet onto the bed and turning towards him without meeting his eyes. All the while he watched her in utter fascination. Never had any of the girls he'd found in his bed been this shy after they had slept together.
She almost couldn't help her eyes staring at his sheath, but that only made her blush spread into the tips of her ears. Noticing where she was glancing, Jared chuckled a little, pulling the corner of the blue satin sheets over his lap. She risked a short glance at him before looking back at her feet.
"Sunn..." Suddenly he was very serious. Her blush almost completely vanished as she finally looked at him. His eyes were boring into hers. "Do you... regret... anything..." A finger on his lips silenced him. She shook her head hard enough that her ears flapped slightly, one getting bent over. Laughing for a moment, he reached up and straightened it for her. "It's just... you seem so...I guess shy."
Her blush was almost as red as his had been before, his paw still up by her ears, started scratching subconsciously. Her eyes closed she leaned into it, her own paws dropping to her sides. Within moment he felt her tail beating his back repeatedly. Moving down just to the side of her ear, she gasped in a breath and he froze as he could smell her arousal, as potent as when he was inside of her.
When he stopped, she turned to face him, her eyes half closed in what looked like sleepy pleasure. He could only blink at her for long seconds, before a sly smile creased his lips. Moving his paw back, he scratched in the same place, but when she gasped again he closed in and sealed his mouth to hers. He felt her throat vibrate intensely, like she was trying to murr or moan, but as her scent filled his nose and she flicked her tongue across his, he was lost.
Slowly his paws started to travel back down her side, brushing over her breast lightly, and down to her hip, fingering the material of his shirt. Suddenly her body tensed. Shock, more than anything, pulled him back, unsure what he had done to frighten her. But when he looked at her, her eyes seemed to be locked on the door.
"What is it?" She motioned as if to try and tell him, but her ear swiveled and her eyes widened. Turning slightly, he heard Sunn's name being called from the buzz pad next to the door. Listening harder, just before it cut out, he could hear "Sunn, I know you can't answer, but please get Jared or push the button."
The sheets went flying as Jared ran for the door, forgetting that he wasn't wearing any clothing. "Hey, Jack, sorry. Come on in." He pushed the button, before he slumped against the wall. As he suddenly felt cold, he looked down and swore. Running back into the bedroom, he made for the closet. Looking back at the bed he found Sunn hiding her body under the blankets. "Oh, crap!"
Running back out to the couch, where he had dropped her cloths before, he grabbed them, his ears tweaking towards the door as he could start to hear Jack's foot pads. Running back to the bedroom, he dropped her cloth in front of her on the bed before making for the closet again. Digging for a moment, he finally found a pair of pants, just as there was a knock on the door. "Just a second!"
"Jared?" He looked to the open bedroom door nervously as he tried to pull his pants on. As he started to jump toward the door, Sunn, fully clothed already cut him off and waved him back into the room as she closed the door on him. For a moment he wondered how she got dressed for quickly.
Trying to calm her heart rate, she turned the knob and met the orange Fox's confused face and sudden smile. "Hey, Sunn!" She smiled, trying her hardest not a blush as she opened the door further and let him in. "Where's Jared, I thought I heard him call a second ago?" Looking at her, he saw her paws start to twist together in front of her, her eyes darting to and away from the bedroom door. Raising an eyebrow, he slowly crossed to it, reaching for the handle, but just before he could twist it, the door swung open, revealing the heavy breathing, slightly flushed Rottweiler.
"Hey Jack, wasn't expecting you so soon."
"Soon? It's near five o'clock... What time did you expect me?" He looked over his tall friend and suddenly realized that he wasn't wearing a shirt and his fur looked as if he had pulled his pants on in a hurry. Did he just get up? That's really not like him.' He glanced at Sunn but she was too focused on her paws again. "Am I intruding?" As he looked between them, Jared started to stammer and Sunn's cheeks darkened as she shook her head almost hard enough to make her ears flap.
Suddenly Jack started laughing. When they both stopped and looked at him as he looked between them again, he started laughing harder. "Ok," he started between heavy sighs to control himself, "I'm going to get a beer.
As he left, the two of them stared after him before looking at each other, both turning red under their fur. He knows.'
Sunn turned and headed for the couch, still terrible embarrassed, while Jared half heartedly made for the kitchen. As he entered the doorway, Jack was popping the cap on a beer from the fridge. The turned to face each other for long moments before Jack cracked another broad smile. "So I guess you didn't need any luck, huh?"
Jared tried to glare at him, but ended up blushing again and turning away. Jack laugh slowly died down as he stared at his friend. "Wait a second... This is serious, isn't it?" He could meet his eyes. "Jared?"
"I'm never felt like this before... I don't know what to think. You know the legends, how am I supposed to..."
"Jared, common! You can't decide for certain because of some stupid story that says it can't happen!"
"No, that's not it!" He paused for a long moment, not sure if he should tell him.
"Well then what is it? I've never seen you like this before, man." There was a short silence. He trusted him and he had a feeling she would too.
"Jack... She was rapped when she was fourteen..." He finally met his eyes. "By a Rottweiler." Realization set in his orange-brown eyes. "How I am ever supposed to know if I'm hurting her? Not physically, but mentally. She so much different than the other girls we've helped. For one thing, it only just happened today," Jack choked on a laugh as Jared shot him a look, "and she seems so... Shy? Unsure? I don't know. I have no idea how to handle a girl like that; I don't want to mess up"
That slow smile started to creep across Jack's face the whole time he listened. Finally Jared's attention came back from the door frame, like he was watching her through the wall. He gave a pained whine when he saw his friend's face.
"Oh, you got it really bad, man! I have never seen you like this! You lost your nerve over a girl!"
"Would you keep it down! She has really good hearing." Jack muffled his laughter with one of his paws till he was calm enough to control himself. Taking another drink of his beer, he looked at Jared again, the twinkle of laughter still in the corners of his eyes.
"If it feels wrong, talk to her. She's also a great listener." Jared glared at him. He choked back a laugh again. "That's not what I was talking about. But she's also strong and obviously understanding if she could get past the stories her own parents must have told her too. She doesn't look like she regrets what happened, so just go for it!"
"No... She said she didn't regret it. It just feels so strange."
"That because you're use to girls that would throw themselves on you just so they would get jumped tonight. Trust me, her kind of woman is even better!" He eyed his friend for a long time before he smiled again. "You know the old tribal Wolves use to mate for life."
Jared didn't even meet his eyes, he just stared at the doorway, trying to see her through the wall again.
"Ok, if that didn't shake you, you are definitely serious, and you'll definitely be fine." He finally met his eyes again and, after a long moment, they both smiled again.
"You want a beer too?"
"Hang on... Sunn?" He walked over and looked through the door way to see her sitting on the couch, looking up from staring at her paws. "Do you want a beer?" She wrinkled her nose and shook her head. "How about a coke?" Smiling she nodded. Opening the fridge, he grabbed two coke bottles and headed for the doorway, Jack smiling evilly behind him.
"Here." He opened both with one paw and handed her one, sitting next to her on the three person couch. Jack crossed over to the two person couch and sat down, watching them as he smiled.
"So Sunn, do you not like alcohol?" Meeting his eyes for a moment, seeing he wasn't messing with her, she made a not too disgusted face, shook her head and shrugged at the same time. He laughed again. "I doubt he'll be keeping it around much any more. I'll have to bring my own on game nights!"
Turning bright pink again, she looked down at her paws. Jack only laughed harder as Jared tried to scowl at him with the cock bottle half raised to his open maw.
The first hour was pure torture as Jack dropped hint after hint about the two of them, both picking up every single one. Only once did either interject. "Jack, I think you've had enough."
"Oh, please. I'm only half way through the first one and you know it!" He only laughed when he had nothing else to say. Standing, Jared headed off to the kitchen with his and Sunn's empty coke bottles.
Making sure he was gone, Jack turned to her and smiled again. "I'm sorry, Sunn, I'm only playing with you guys." She smiled shyly and looked down again. "You two look great together though." Looking up, she had to smile wide at the sincerity in his eyes. "Just don't be too hard on him ok?" She cocked her head to the side as confusion crossing her features. "He's... Well he's not use to serious relationships." She stared at the doorway where she had last seen him. "He cares about you though, even after two, three days it's easy to see."
Her eyes shown as she smiled, just as Jared came back through the door way. "Oh great! What are telling her, Jack?" They both just smiled.
They continued to hand out till it was reaching close to dusk. "Well," Jack stood and stretch, his poofy fox tail furrowing oddly, "I'd better get going. Kate will worry if I'm home too late after dark. You two love birds have fun." He waved as he started around for the door, jumping a little when there was a tap on his shoulder.
Turning, Sunn smiled at him before wrapping her arms around him in a hug. He blinked a few times before he smiled and hugged her back. "Later, Jared." He waved and headed out the door. Jared waved back, but couldn't seem to help a knot forming in his stomach, almost making him feel sick. As she turned and looked at him, seeing a pout on his face he didn't even know what there, she laughed slightly.
Crossing to him as he looked up at her, she grabbed his arm and pulled him to his feet. When he stood, she slid her arms around his sides and held him close. Looking down at her, he hugged her back and the knot dissipated. Suddenly realizing he was jealous he chucked and squeezed her tighter.
As the moment went on, he started thinking, till finally he worked up the nerve to ask her. "Sunn...would you like to...well, want to... stay in my bed tonight? With me?" Her arms loosened slightly as she looked up at him, a worried expression hiding behind her eyes. Gulping for a moment, he tried to sound reassuring. "I'm not asking for anything, I just... I wanted to..." She looked as if she wanted him to finish, so he took a breath, closed his eyes, and spit it out. "I just want to hold you tonight." When there was no movement, he opened them slowly, one and a time, till he found her face.
Her eyes shown and she smiled broadly before she buried her muzzle in his strong chest. He wrapped his arms around her again, holding her tightly, before he scooped her up and carried her off to the bedroom again
