Tothe left of the room was a bar with a private section for couples or individuals to get away from everyone else. To the right of the room was the DJ stand and a staircase leading to the second floor. Taking in everything Sam was even more nervous now then when he was outside. Scanning over the room he noticed his friends sitting at the bar. Happy to see someone he knew he started walking towards them but was suddenly stopped by someone grabbing his shoulder. He turned towards the person and immediately recognized him as a buddy from college four years earlier. "A-alex?" He said while staring at the other horse. "I thought I recognized you Sam!" Alex said while hugging him. Pulling back happily Sam stared at him remembering all the fun times they had together through college and also remembered the crush he had on him. "Wow man... whats it been? Four years?" Sam asked excitedly "Yeah right at it! Hey... lets go to the bar and get a drink... we can get a private booth and catch up!" Sam eagerly agreed and walked with his old friend over to the bar. He watched Alex while he walked beside him noticing his brown main and nicely toned body. "Well... after college I kinda got caught up with some bad people, what I was doing made good money but... I just got tired of taking that big a risk so I got out of it and began working at a mechanic shop. I stayed there for about a year and then moved on and got a better job somewhere else. What about you?" "For me after college I got a job as well and got my own place. I really haven't been doing much else, except on weekends meeting new people and going new places." Alex grabbed his beer and held it up for a toast "For the memory of good times and the hope for better ones!" He said smiling. Sam grabbed his beer and lightly tapped Alex's bottle before taking a sip. "So... do you still uh.. Like boys?" Alex asked hesitantly. Alex looked confused at him. "Just come on!" Sam ran ahead laughing and pulling Alex behind. Coming out of the bar Sam noticed that the lights had dimmed considerably. Stopping at the edge of the dance floor he turned around and stared at Alex while slowly reaching his hand out. "Alex... can I have this dance?" he asked slowly. Sam then reached into his jean pocket and pulled out a small piece of paper and wrote down his address and apartment number and handed it to Alex.
