The locker door slammed shut, sending an echo through the empty locker room. " Yes daddy! I know I know! I got those tests coming up...I KNOW!!! I will study! Geez! DAD! Look I will call you tonight. I'm at the gym right now and can't talk anymore. Yes daddy I promise I will call you tonight. I love you too daddy." Ruby hung up her phone and set it inside her locker after reopening it, sighing as she shook her head some. The feline closed the door once more and moved to leave the locker room, stopping and looking at her reflection in a mirror. She was a ok looking girl. At least in her mind she looked alright. Long blonde hair stood out against her white fur. Her bright ice blue eyes staring back at herself as she sighed softly. Ruby was always teased for being thicker then the other girls during her school years. She had large breasts and curvy hips. To the others she was 'the fat kid' that got picked on until she finally graduated. She was living on campus at the college she was attending. The feline glared at her reflection and sighed.

"Ugly little ball of fur.."

"Oh now your not ugly!"

Ruby let out a yelp and jumped, whirling around and pressing her back into the mirror, looking to see where the second voice had come from. There at the door to the locker room stood a large male wolf. He was gorgeous, at least that was Ruby's first thought, his fur a bright shade of silver with streaks of black running through it, short black hair that was spiked up and bright emerald green eyes. Ruby took a few deep breathes before laying her head back against the mirror. " You scared the hell out of me!" The wolf chuckled and rubbed the back of his head, shifting the strap to his gym bag on his shoulder as he slowly walked into the locker room. " Sorry I didn't mean to frighten you. I just over heard your comment...You really shouldn't think of yourself that way." The wolf walked up to Ruby who was blushing furiously by then as he reached out and gently flicked one of her ears, making it fold down. He chuckled again and tilted his head as he looked down at her. Ruby was usually a head shorter then the males around her, even having to look up at her own father and brother. Ruby bit her bottom lip and shifted some. " I..I um..well uh thanks I think...I'm Ruby." She gave the wolf a sheepish little smile as her tail swayed around behind her slowly, the bushy fur standing up a bit. The wolf smiled and gently took one of her hands, leaning down and kissing the back of it before pulling back with a grin. " I'm Blaze...It is nice to meet you Ruby...well uh I better get changed...my brother is waiting on me." Ruby nodded and watched Blaze head off the other side of the locker room. Ruby quickly left the locker room and walked into the gym, blushing brightly. She shook the thoughts from her head and moved to a treadmill, yawning a bit as she pulled her hair back into a quickly pony tail, tying it with a hair tie that had been around her wrist. The feline soon forgot about the wolf as she walked while humming softly to herself, avoiding her reflection in the mirror that was lining one of the walls in front of her.

Blaze came out of the locker room a few minutes later and took a glance over at Ruby. Her back was to him so he watched her for a moment, watching the small shorts she wore as she took her steps while her tail swayed around with each swing of her hips. Blaze was brought out of his little trance when his brother slapped him on the back of the head. " Dude stop drooling on yourself!" Blaze shook his head and growled a bit as he looked at his brother, a large white wolf with bright yellow eyes. " Jacob shut up." Blaze shoved his brother lightly before walking with him to a wrestling mat. Ruby had heard the two and was watching them in the mirror while she walked, her attention mainly on Blaze. As she watched she grinned some watching the two of them pace around each other on the mat before Jacob lunged to tackle Blaze. The two were grunting when Blaze landed on the mat, rolling around before pinning his brother down with a headlock, slowly tightening it as he laughed. " I GIVE I GIVE! LET ME BREATHE!" Jacob yelled at his brother as best he could before he was finally free while Blaze stood and laughed at him before helping him up. " Your still slow."

"Oh shut up." Jacob stuck his tongue out at Blaze. As that were bantering back and forth Ruby had gotten off of the treadmill, stretching out as she stood there with her back to the two of them. Blaze went silent as he watched her with his ears standing up. Jacob grinned and snickered while he nudged his brother in the side. " You want it...there are the locker rooms...no one is in there at this time of day...everyone is in classes or sleeping." Blaze blushed and looked at his brother. He was about to tell him off but stopped and got a thoughtful look on his face. It had been months since the last time he slept with someone and the thought of it was tempting. Blaze soon shook his head and sighed. " No...I can't. Doesn't seem right...just makes it look like I am taking advantage of her." Jacob rolled his eyes and shook his head as he moved to get his gym bag. " Dude please...she is just a fat cat...a quick fuck and your gone...who cares if she feels like you took advantage of her?" Blaze folded his ears back and firmly slapped his brother on the back of his head, snarling softly. " Because she is a woman. And she is a beautiful one at that....just because you like those soulless walking sticks you call your fuck buddies doesn't mean I do...go to your class before I put my foot up your ass." Jacob growled and glared at his brother while rubbing the back of his head before huffing and leaving the gym.

Ruby had heard the entire thing from the door way of the gym, her ears were low against her head as she sighed and shook her head a bit. She curled her tail around her hips as she walked over to her locker, unlocking the door and pulling it open to change into her regular clothing, pulling her tank top off. As she adjusted her bra she heard footsteps. Blaze stood at the end of the lockers, leaning back against one so he wasn't facing her. "Ruby?" The feline stood her ears up for a moment then flattened them as she sighed, pulling her T-shirt on before she finally answered him while changing from her shorts to her jeans. " What do you want Blaze? Want me to bend over the bench?" Blaze folded his ears down and turned, walking over to her as she finished buttoning her jeans. " No...I'm sorry you heard that from my moron of a brother. I actually..um..here.." Blaze kept his ears down and handed her a slip of folded paper while he looked at her. " I will see you around Ruby...don't let people like my brother get to you like that...your to pretty to go around frowning all the time." Ruby hesitated before taking the paper from him then watching him leave. She stood her ears up with a bright blush coming to her cheeks before sitting down on the bench in the middle of the walk way. She unfolded the paper and saw it was his cell phone number. She blushed even more and looked a bit stunned. No one ever gives her their number let alone compliment her. she bit her bottom lip and stood up, grabbing the rest of her thinks after getting her shoes on, leaving the locker room soon after.

Later that night when Ruby got to her on campus apartment she sat down on the couch with a soft groan coming from her. She stretched out, rubbing her head some when her room mate walked out of her bedroom with a towel wrapped around her body. The little bunny twitched her ears and smiled. " Ruby! about damn time. Go shower and get dressed! Some friends invited us to go eat dinner tonight!" Ruby folded her ears back and tried to protest but the bunny had already disappeared into the bedroom with the door shut. "But I...oh for the love of...fuck it." She got up and walked down to her room. Her room had a large bathroom attached to it which was great for her since she didn't have to worry about getting locked out. She stripped down from her clothing and took a quick shower. When he fur was cleaned up she got dried off and pulled on some clean panties. she looked at herself in her mirror as she dressed, holding up what she wanted to wear that night. Blazes words went through her head again, making her sigh. She knew she wasn't fat but she wasn't skinny either...some would call her chubby or voluptuous. She rolled her eyes and growled. " No Ruby your ugly." She turned her back to the mirror as she pulled her bra on, both items were a dark purple and lacy. She dug around in her clothing before pulling on a pair of black baggy jeans before pulling on a Nightmare Before Christmas T-shirt. She sat at her bathroom counter now, brushing her hair and pulling it back in a low braid before looking at her reflection. Ruby had make up...tons of it actually but she never really used it. Ruby sighed and put in a few little gold earrings along each ear then stood up and pulled some boots on before heading out of her room.

"Oh for gods sake Ruby..why do you dress like that?!" The bunny was standing in the kitchen finishing up with her make up, wearing a tight little tank top and some tight jeans. Ruby blinked and stared at her for a moment before shaking her head. " Unlike you Tootsie I don't like showing my body...now come on before I decide to not go." Ruby headed out of the door after grabbing her wallet and phone, following Tootsie down stairs and off campus to a large building that was a pizza join that doubled as a night club for the college students. Tootsie led Ruby inside and towards a large booth with three other people sitting in it. A large tabby cat with orange fur grinned as he moved over to let Tootsie into the booth with him. On the other side of him sat none other then Jacob and Blaze. They were looking at Tootsie and didn't see Ruby until she sat down. When she spotted Blaze her ears stood up and her eyes went wide for a moment. Blaze looked back at her and smiled a bit before shifting nervously. Tootsie raised a brow as she looked between Ruby and Blaze before rolling her eyes and moving over the tabby's lap to be between him and Jacob with a giggle. "Ruby...this is Blaze and his brother Jacob...this fur ball here is Todd." Ruby only nodded a hello and looked away from them, her tail curling around her legs tightly as she sat there. Jacob and Todd glanced to each other before giving a bit of a shrug and pretty much ignoring Ruby.

Over an hour passed and Jacob had taken Tootsie to the club side of the restaurant with Todd following them. Ruby was leaned back into the booth with a sigh coming from her while toying with an uneaten slice of pizza. She was starving but her mind wouldn't let her eat. Blaze was still sitting there watching her with his ears low. He shifted and slowly moved to sit beside her, keeping a bit of space between them. " Are you alright Ruby?" The feline looked to him and stared at him for a moment before giving a nod and a small little smile. " Yeah I'm..ok..just uh..not really wanting to eat." Blaze shook his head, seeing how she was trying to hide she wasn't feeling right. The wolf looked out to see the others dancing then sighed, rolling his eyes a bit. " Remind me to get the apartment key from Jacob...I left my own back the apartment...Im sure that fool won't be home tonight." Ruby laughed softly and shook her head some as she shifted a bit, crossing her arms lightly. " Well that means the three of them will be at my apartment...guess I won't go home tonight." She laid her head back and sighed as Blaze looked at her then to the others with a raised brow. He smiled and moved out of the booth making Ruby raise a brow and watch him. He moved to Jacob and got his keys from him then walked back to the table, motioning for Ruby to follow him. Ruby blinked and hesitated before climbing out of the booth to follow him. He lead her back to campus to the apartments and right to his that he shared with his brother. He unlocked the door and let her walk in frist before following and closing the door behind him. He put the keys on the holder by the door and chuckled. " Problem solved...You can take my bed and I will go to Jacobs room to sleep."

Ruby blinked and looked at him, her ears standing up as she blushed a bit. " I..um thank you but you didn't have to do this. I coulda gotten a hotel somewhere for the night." Blaze shook his head and smiled, walking by her after kicking his boots off. " Not happening. You do that and some freak might attack you on the way there. Here your safe and don't have to hear what is going to happen in your apartment." Ruby blushed as she thought on it before nodding and shrugging some. Blaze walked into the kitchen as Ruby followed him, looking around as she flicked the tip of her tail. Blaze pulled open the fridge before grabbing some beers, handing oen to Ruby. She looked at him before taking the drink and smiling faintly. " Ruby..relax...your fine here." Blaze smiled and chuckled a bit as he leaned against the counter. Ruby moved to the other side of the small kitchen, pulling the cap off of the beer and sipping on it as she nodded some. " Sorry Blaze. Just not used to someone being nice to me is all..usually get ignored." She gave a shrug and smiled sheepishly. Blaze lowered his ears as he set his beer down, moving the short distance till he was standing in front of her. Ruby stood her ears up and looked up at him before gasping as the wolf pulled her into a tight hug. She was floored and hesitated for several minutes before slowly returning the hug, letting him hold her like that before he slowly pulled back, gently rubbing one of her ears and making her let out a soft purr.

"Ruby...you don't have to be ignored...hell you know where I live now...anytime you want to escape you can come here." Ruby looked up at him and nodded a bit before smiling a bit more. The two moved to the living room with their drinks. He turned the tv on and sat down on the couch. She sat down with him and leaned back, relaxing some as she sipped on her drink. She glanced to him out the corner of her eye several times during the next hour. When her bottle was empty she set it down and yawned. Blaze smiled and gently nudged her before taking her to his room, flipping the light on. The wolfs room was large and very clean which surprised her. Avenged Sevenfold posters and a few gaming posters lined the walls. She smiled a bit as he looked to her. " Not expected from a college student huh?" She chuckled and shook her head as she watched him as he left her alone. She moved to the door and shut it, leaving it cracked a little. She looked around the room for a moment before pulling her boots off, setting them by teh door before removing her pants. She folded them and set them in his desk chair before turning the light off after turning on the desk lamp. The feline never really slep in the dark. She moved to the bed and laid down, rubbing her eyes a bit as she sighed. ' The hell is he being so nice to me for? Im just a fat cat that minds her own business...' Ruby laid there thinking those thoughts over and over again before she finally fell asleep. Blaze came into the room sometime later to get his sleeping pants and a clean pair of boxers. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Ruby laying on the bed sleeping. He stood his ears up and blushed a bit, looking her over for several minutes before shaking his head a bit fighting off his growing arousal. 'Bad dog bad! No no no she is beautiful yes but no you can not think like that!' Blaze sighed and grabbed a light weight blanket, gently laying it over Ruby before getting what he came for and leaving her to sleep.

The next morning Jacob came into the apartment, for once glad he had a spare key in his car. He closed the doors and headed to his room to find Blaze sleeping in his bed. " Get the fuck up dude! Why are you in my bed?!" Blaze sat up right and groaned, shaking his head some before glaring at Jacob" Because Ruby is sleeping in mine! Keep your damn voice down you dork!" Jacob blinked and stared at him for a moment before laughing as he kicked his shoes off and began to strip from his clothing to go shower. " Your a idoit...you brought a chick that is clearly easy to fuck and you just let her sleep in your bed while you take your brothers like a gentlemen? What the hell is wrong with you. You haven't been laid since Rose ditched your ass. Right there across the hall is a chubby piece of ass and here you are." Blaze growled and jumped up from the bed. He would have knocked Jacob across the face if he didn't need to get ready for his classes. He moved out of Jacobs room in time to see Ruby leaving the apartment with what looked like tears rolling down her cheeks from the breif look he got of her face.
