The castle was silent as the night had rolled in. Tarja and Tatsuya laying in their new king-sized bed, kissing into the embrace of each other. Leona laying with Jane and Magea in their bedroom, watching the newborn cub eagerly feeding from the ocelot's breast. Sasha and Vee sitting and sharing a friendly drink over becoming grandmothers. It was all calm and peace, until the sound of a loud horn broke it all down like a house of cards. Looking up in a light confusion, Sasha looked at the clock and groaned, "We forgot, we were supposed to go down into the courtyard tonight." Vee gave a nod, "Okay, I will just go to bed. It was an eventful week and now I really need that beauty sleep." Sasha smiled as she rubbed the zebra's cheek, "You know as well as me that you do not need something you already have plenty of." Vee giggled, "Sasha, stop treating me like I am a lover to you." Sasha nodded, she never had the will to give up on treating others like they were her lovers, it was only natural kindness for her.

Outside in the courtyard, Yin and Ainohi stood ready with a deck of cards, both seeming rather motivated as more and more of the family came out of the castle. Yin gave them a warm smile, "You had forgotten, hadn't you?" Sasha rubbed the back of her head, "We kinda did, apologies." Yin giggled, "It is okay, we are ready to go with the show. Ainohi has been a good student, so now it is time to show you all how well she can go up against me." Sasha smirked to Tenchi and Peridot as it almost seemed they had something planned. With a quick flick of her wrist, Sasha used a spell to quickly modify their decks a bit before the two dragonesses walked apart before turning around and thrust their arm with the summoning device on, "Duel!"

A screen showing their life points showed up for the audience to watch as Yin smiled, "Ainohi, you go first." Ainohi knew well that playing first had a disadvantage, but she was going to show how much she had learned from her training with Yin, even keeping her deck secret until now before the dragoness drew her first card before putting it in her hand, "These are rather mediocre for a starting hand." She thought for a second and soon nodded, "I place two cards face-down and end my turn."

This caught Yin's attention as she thought Ainohi had no monster to summon, checking her own hand after drawing her card, "I play Draconnection. This allows me to trade one card from my hand with one in my deck of the same amount of stars. I choose to trade Dark Armed Dragon." She drew the card she wanted from the deck and shuffled the Dark Armed Dragon into it, "And then I end my turn."

Ainohi's attention to detail could predict something being planned by Yin as she drew her next card, "Now this is more like it. Time to show what I can do." Ainohi gave Yin a smirk, "I summon Goblin Zombie in face-up attack position. And go for a direct attack on you. Goblin Zombie, attack Yin directly." The skeleton struck Yin, dealing 1100 damage to her life points, leaving her at 6900 life points, "I then use Goblin Zombie's first effect and send your top card of the deck to the Graveyard." Yin sighed before pulling the top card from her deck, a Delta Flyer, before sending it to the Graveyard, "Next, I play the field spell card Zombie World. All the monsters on our fields and in our Graveyards are now Zombie-Type monsters. We cannot Tribute Summon monsters, except Zombie-Type monsters now." Yin grunted as this would crack her deck completely, "And then I end my turn."

Yin drew her next card, looking at it before placing it down, "I summon Masked Dragon in face-up attack position. Then I attack your Goblin Zombie. Go, Masked Dragon!" The fires of dragon hell blasted out, engulfing the small skeleton before shattering it into bone dust, dealing 400 damage to Ainohi's life points, "Nice comeback. I activate Goblin Zombie's second effect to add a Zombie-Type monster with 1200 or less defense from my deck to my hand." Yin knew those eyes, Ainohi had a plan. What she didn't know was that Ainohi had chosen Pain Painter, a tuner Zombie, "I then set a card in defense position and end my turn."

The pressure was building and Tarja looked at the monsters already in play, "Wow, they are really good at this." Tatsuya nodded while Sasha grinned, "Oh, the best is yet to come." And true to her words, Ainohi drew her card before looking at it and switching the card to hold another in her hand, "I play Pain Painter in face-up defense position and Zombie Master in face-up attack position. Go Zombie Master, make death come for her Masked Dragon." Yin grinned as even if she took 400 damage, she would still get the last laugh, "I use Masked Dragon's effect to bring back and special summon Delta Flyer from my Graveyard." Ainohi just nodded, "I end my turn there."

Yin felt confident in herself now, especially when noticing her father walking into the crowd, until she noticed he was wearing the clothes he had bought in Tokyo. Her mind was brought back to the duel again as she drew her next card, "I set a card face-down in defense position and put my Delta Flyer in defense position too. I then end my turn." Ainohi could feel the sweat of fear from Yin as she drew her next card, "I play Zombie Master in attack position and switch my Pain Painter to attack position. I then attack one of your face-downs with Pain Painter, Delta Flyer with my Zombie Master and your last face-down with my other Zombie Master."

Yin felt defenseless as she saw Red-Eyes Black Chick, Totem Dragon and Delta Flyer become Graveyard food, "My turn!" She drew her card and felt as if she was about to faint, "I place one card face-down and end my turn." It was probably the worst decision she could have done as Ainohi drew her card, looking at it before sighing, "I summon Flamvell Firedog in attack position and directly attack you with all of my monsters. I am sorry, Yin-sama." Yin nodded before feeling the heavy chunk of 5900 damage being dealt to her life points, leaving her at only 600 remaining now, "I end my turn."

Yin drew her next card and her eyes went wide, "What is this? Gold Ring of... Bound Promises?" She read through the effect of the spell card and her eyes seemed to register what was going on before she nodded, "I place one card face-down. And end my turn." Ainohi felt destroyed by this, "Yin-sama... you are not going to forfeit this match just due to luck. I wanna beat you at your best!" Yin felt the honor in Ainohi's words before her father's voice was heard, "That's right! A real warrior never strikes a wounded enemy if their honor is to remain!" Ainohi nodded and drew her next card, her eyes looking in confusion, "Gold Ring of Bound Promises? Why is this in my deck?" She saw the picture, a gold ring with gems in it. It was clear to her too, "I place one card in face-down before I use Pain Painter's effects to make him equal to a Plaguespreader Zombie and also to make my Zombie Master cards into 2-stars before I synchronize them to summon Archfiend Zombie-Skull in defense position! And then I end my turn."

Yin felt the honor filling her as she drew another card, "I summon Bright Star Dragon in face-up attack position and attack your Archfiend Zombie-Skull." The scary abomination was soon bathed in glorious light before Yin nodded, "And I end my turn." Ainohi felt the crowd was about to grow bored, "I am sorry, but I will only give you four more turns. Back out now or I will dishonor myself." Yin shake her head before Ainohi drew another card, "I summon Flamvell Magician in face-up attack position, but I end my turn." Yin knew very well that the warning was all she needed to know before drawing the card that she had partially waited for, "I summon Axe Dragonute in face-up attack position. And I attack your Flamvell Firedog with him." The axe-wielding dragon swung the might cleaver axe, cutting the fiery canine in half before it assumed a defense position, "And when Axe Dragonute attacks a monster, its effect makes it go into defense position. Next Bright Star Dragon attacks your Flamvell Magician." The glorious light made only ashes of the spellcaster, burning away 600 of Ainohi's life points, "And with that, I end my turn."

Akari watched it and rubbed his head, "Julie, I think they are just toying now." Julie Ruby nodded, "Yeah, but at least they put on a good show." Ainohi drew the next card, noticing yet another familiar card, "I summon Zombie Master in face-up attack position and I use its effect to send Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos to my Graveyard to Special Summon Pain Painter back from the dead. I then activate Pain Painter's effect again before synchronizing it with Zombie Master, allowing me to summon Doomkaiser Dragon in attack position! And I attack your Axe Dragonute, sending it straight to the afterlife before I end my turn." Yin watched her deck before drawing her next card, sighing as she was having no luck at all, "I summon Masked Dragon in face-up attack position and I tribute my Bright Star Dragon to Tribute Summon Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon! And then I end my turn as I got a feeling you will have a small surprise for me."

The crowd had become interested now by Yin's display of adaptation, Ainohi applauding to Yin, "That was a rather impressive move." Quickly drawing her card, she was smiling at what she saw, "I play Mezuki in face-up attack position and attack your Masked Dragon with him." The bull swung its axe to almost reveal the Masked Dragon's identity before the 200 damage went to Yin's life points, but Yin had it already planned out, "I end my turn."

It was Yin's time to shine and she planned to as her next card was drawn, "I play Red-Eyes Black Chick in face-up defense position and attack Mezuki with my Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon." The dragon bathed the bull in its corrosive breath before Yin grinned, "I activate Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon's effect to bring Mezuki to my field as a Special Summoning." Ainohi felt the 700 damage burning at her before Yin nodded, "I end my turn and hope my next card will help me."

Ainohi just smiled, "If you cannot draw it, then I win the duel." Drawing what could be her last card, Ainohi gave Yin a superior look, "I summon Plaguespreader Zombie in face-up attack formation. And I end my turn." Yin felt the pressure before placing her hand on the deck and drew her to be last card, looking at it, "Dragon's Mirror. I guess... I got no other choice." Swallowing down, Yin turned over the card she knew was destined to be played, "I activate the spell card Gold Ring of Bound Promises! You have to search through your deck for that card. If you do not have it, we both lose half our life points." Ainohi smiled before flipping hers over, "But if we both have it, then the duel ends." The activation of the cards triggered the devices to show Yin kneeling in front of Ainohi and Yin did just that before smiling, "Ainohi Novastar, during my time teaching you how to play, I have fallen deeply in love with you and now I know it was destined to happen. So, will you honor me by becoming my lawful wife?" Ainohi felt her knees weakening before she pulled Yin up, leaning forward to kiss her, "Yes, I will honor you with becoming your lawful wife."

The applauds were growing louder by the second and Yin blushed happily before hearing her father calling out, "However, I wanna test out the skills of my daughter-in-law first to see if she is worthy of my blessing." Yin's face went pale by fear, "Dad, don't!" That day, the legend of the Dragon King died out completely as the icon of honor for many in the family turned into the most sinister force at the fourth turn of the duel against his daughter-in-law and he was forced to find shelter in the barracks for the night as his daughter slept by the side of her future wife, all under the protection of the moon's shining embrace.
