Spec's Sympathy

"Wait a minute now Penny. I don't know what you are thinking, but we are not sleeping in the same bed tonight."

She ignored him as she jumped onto his queen sized bed. She fell back against the black comforter as she kicked her feet as they hung over the edge.

"Penny, are you listening to me? You are not sleeping in my bed with me."

"If we aren't going to do anything then why did you bring that lollipop with you?"

Spec took the cherry flavored candy from his pocket wondering himself as he looked it over.

"I don't even know what's the significance of this is thing."

She sighed as she sat up to look at him.

"I told you when I gave it to you. That means I owe you a favor you can cash in later."

"That is still a pretty vague answer."

"Well like I said earlier, I can show you tonight."

Spec rubbed his forehead up and down with the knuckle of his index finger. He walked over to his night stand and grabbed his music player and tossed it next to Penny.

"We can talk about this later Penny. Why don't poke around my list of songs and find some stuff you like to listen to. It's connected to the sound system outside, just don't turn it up too loud okay? I'm going to go change before the food gets here."

She took the player as she skipped into the living room. Spec grabbed a tee shirt and shorts to change into before going to the bathroom. He turned on the shower to let it warm up as he removed his contacts. A quick five minute shower later, he was out and drying himself. He dressed before going out to the bedroom to get his glasses.

As he stepped into the living room he was a bit shocked to hear "Friday, I'm In Love" by the Cure playing from the speakers. He looked around to see Penny singing and dancing along to the song. It was cute as she had taken her shoes off and was now moving about the carpet in her socks. He couldn't help but stare at her cute little tale as she swayed back and forth, her back to him. He shook his head and took a seat on the couch which caught her attention. The sound startled her, causing her to stop dancing for a moment.

"I take it you like this song." He said with a smile as he put his feet up. She blushed as she realized he caught her dancing.

"It's not bad. It's not exactly an 80's song but it has a good beat and nice lyrics."

Spec chuckled as he covered his mouth. She might have been young but she seemed to know her music at least. Penny also grinned as she gathered herself. It wasn't long when she realized what Spec was wearing.

"You wear glasses too? Why didn't you have them on in the store?"

"I don't like to wear them when I work. I have to move around a lot and last thing I need is for them to fall and get scratched or something."

He paused as she was inches away from his face now. He didn't know what to do as she just smiled at him. The silence was broken when she picked up a Rubik's Cube Spec kept in his apartment. She jumped into his lap as the next song started to play resulting in Spec blowing out a puff of air. She started to sing "Sweet dreams are made of these, who am I do disagree?" as she moved her body to the beat while trying to solve the cube puzzle.

The young girl's hip shaking was not helping Spec at all as he was already slightly aroused from watching her dance. He could feel the blood flowing to his crotch as he didn't know what to do to try and stop her. Spec was saved by the door bell as it went off off just before Penny could notice his arousal.

"That must be the pizza. Up Penny, need to pay the delivery man."

Penny jumped off Spec with an enthusiastic "Alright." as she continued to work on the cube. Spec grabbed his wallet and went down stairs. He greeted the delivery guy as he pulled out a few bills and gave it to him. As the delivery driver looked down to take the money he noticed Spec was showing his arousal through his shorts. He coughed and looked away which caused Spec to look down, realizing what he saw. Spec winched as he said "Keep the change." and closed the door taking the food back up to the apartment.

Upon entering the apartment he placed the food on the coffee table. Penny was still swaying and working on the puzzle as Spec sat back on the couch and put his head back. It couldn't have been more then a couple of minutes before Penny called out "Done!" Spec looked up to see that she had in fact finished it. He looked it over after she offered it to him.

"Okay, I'm impressed. So you ready to eat Penny?"

She nodded and jumped up to go wash her hands. Spec directed her to the bathroom as he separated and organized the food. She returned a minute later, pushing her glasses up.

"I didn't know if you have hand towels or anything so I just dried my hands on the bath towel that was hanging from the rail."

"That's fine. Go ahead and dig in. Help yourself to the chicken wings too if you wants some. I just got plan and some dipping sauce since I don't know what you don't like to eat yet."

Penny took a slice of pizza first. She wondered why it was cut into squares instead of the traditional pie slices.

"Why'd they cut it so weird?"

"Thin crust isn't as strong as the other styles. Some places do it like this so you get the same amount of toppings and can handle the slice with out everything falling off."

She looked back at the pizza as a whole and realized it did seem to have more toppings then other places that cut pie style. She took a bite and giggled slightly while bouncing in place. She looked over to Spec who was starting into his salad.

"I don't think I've ever see a wolf eat salad before. Bread in meat sandwiches but never a salad."

He was mid chew when he looked at her. After swallowing he showed her the salad bowl.

"It has bacon bits in it. Besides, what's wrong with a wolf eating salad? Wolves need fiber too."

"I guess." She replied as she finished her first slice and started up on her second. There was a moment of silence as Spec reached for the television remote. He stopped when he looked back at Penny who was still moving to the music while she ate. He didn't have to heart to ask if he could turn it off as he continued to eat his salad.

There were no left overs after they were both finished eating. Penny finally had her fill of music as she continued to look through Spec's collection of pop culture collectibles. She found the transforming robots especially interesting.

"Where did you get all of this stuff Spec?"

He turned away from the television when she called him. The way she was playing he almost felt like he was babysitting a niece or something.

"Well those aren't originals. They are reproductions of the originals they made after that horrible modern live action movie was released."

"You mean that stupid movie with all the explosions and product placement directed by that Gulf guy?"

"Yep, that movie."

"Those movies were so stupid."

"They're coming out with another one you know."

She moaned and fell backward with her arms spread out. Spec couldn't help but laugh at her reaction as he took a sip from his glass of water. Penny looked up and checked her watch before putting the toys she was playing with away and stood up.

"I'm going to go take a bath now. Do you have any soap I can use?"

"I have body wash but if you want you can use the hand soap at the sink. That doesn't have any heavy scent to it."

"Thank you." She said as she disappeared into the bathroom once again. Spec could barely hear the water running from the living room if he concentrated on listening for it. He went back to watching TV for a bit before he decided to turn it off. He went into the bed room to hear the shower running. He knocked on the door to check on Penny.

"You okay in there?"

"I'm fine, I'll be out in a few minutes."

He responded "Okay." as he went to the bed to lay down. He closed his eyes for a moment. Before he knew it the water cut off from the shower. A few minutes passed and the bathroom door opened as a cloud of steam flowed into the bed room. He sat up but was shocked to see Penny walking in with just a towel around her body.

"Don't look Spec! I need to get dressed!"

He quickly covered his eyes with a pillow while saying "Sorry" as he laid back down on the bed. He didn't know what to do with himself when he realized Penny had already seen his penis. Before he could say anything Penny said "Okay, you can look now." He removed the pillow and looked up to see her wearing a pink slip. It clung to her body in a way that it showed her barely developing breast. Spec swallowed as he found it hard not to stare.

"That's... An interesting choice of sleep wear."

"I think its cute. And it doesn't get too hot or cold when I sleep."

She gave a little spin to show it off. It was just enough to cause it to lift enough that Spec got a small peak of her purple panties. He looked away and cleared his throat as he stood up.

"Pardon me, I'm going to get some water."

"She's just a kid damn it. She's not even a teen yet. Get your shit together man." he thought to himself as he drank his water. When he returned to the bed room, Penny was already under the comforter as she sat up play her hand held game. Spec scratched his head as he went to the opposite side of the bed. He also slid under the comforter, getting her attention.

"You okay Spec?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. What are you playing?"

"Quadra attack. It's an updated version of the classic puzzle game. I have a few more in my bag but I don't feel like switching them out right now."

He nodded as he took his glasses off and set them on the night stand next to the bed. Penny notice as she shut her game off and set it to the side.

"You getting ready to go to sleep Spec?"

"Yeah I'm a little tired but you can stay up a bit if you aren't ready to sleep yet."

He took his shirt and shorts off, leaving only his boxer briefs on. Penny smiled as she took off her glasses and watch. She put her glasses into her case before putting them on top of her bag. Once Spec was settled in, she cuddled right up next to him.

"It's okay Spec, I'm kind of tired too. Do you mind if we talk a little bit before we go to bed?"

He was a bit nervous that she was so close to him but he didn't want to be rude either.

"Sure thing Penny. What do you want to talk about?"

"Well I was wondering, are you near sighted or far sighted?"

"I'm slightly near sighted. Its not super bad but some things are blurry with out my glasses."

"Okay, just wondering. Hey Spec, thank you."

He was confused as he looked over to her.

"For what?'

"Well... Sometimes I have trouble focusing on things. I mean I understand what I'm trying to learn but I just get bored really fast and want to do something different. A lot of adults and teachers say I just need to apply myself or focus more but its hard sometimes, you know? My parents get it and try to help me out but other then them, you're the only adult that doesn't dismiss me as some hyper active problem child. I just wanted to say thanks for taking some time to hang out with me and get to know me a little."

He could hear a little bit of sadness in her voice as he brought an arm down to hold her. He couldn't help but feel for her as he leaned over and kissed her forehead.

"No problem Penny."

She smiled as she cuddled him even tighter then before. He rubbed her arm with his hand as he started to relax. He was just about to close his eyes when he realized there was something he wanted to ask her.

"Hey Penny, before I forget I need to know something. What do you mean by you owe me a favor because of the lollipop?"

"Oh, when me or my friends give you one of those lollipops it means we owe you. You can cash it in for a favor, even a sexual one."

"Ah I see. Wait, what was that last thing you said about sexual favors?"

Penny giggled as she adjusted her body, still hugging the wolf before closing her eyes to fall asleep.
