Secluded is an adult romance/adventure story featuring a coming-of-age wolf battling with his newfound thirst for sexuality and freedom from within his tightly knit life. Parts of this story are based on my life, and lives of people I know/have known.

This is a revised version that I've changed and tweaked, which differentiates itself from the previous version.

This is my first attempt at a small novel, so be gentle! Positive criticism would be nice; I've got a lot to learn.

In this chapter, you get to have a glimpse into Oscar's life. Deciding on Oscar's personality/ies made completing this chapter a particular challenge.

Chapter 5 - Another Point of View

The same scene repeated itself, over and over, like a merry-go-round.

“Is it okay if we’re affectionate?...”

“…Is it okay if we’re affectionate?”

With each repetition of the event, Xio’s beautifully innocent voice seemed to ring louder and somewhat more sinister, pounding in both of Oscar’s eardrums.

“...IS IT OKAY IF WE’RE AFFECTIONATE?”

Xio’s young, wolfy face filled the entire cat's focus, his tear-stricken eyes glaring aggressively at the cat. Slowly, Xio’s cute grey tufts of fur began to disappear, and the whole head shapeshifted into a more rounded, cat-like face. At the same time, Xio’s features began to change size, shape and colour into a face that Oscar knew very, very well. The soft voice of this girl echoed through his mind:

“Is it okay if we’re affectionate?”

“FUCK!” Oscar snapped his body bolt upright, lobbing his weighted covers across the foot of the king-size bed. He rubbed his eyes aggressively, tail lashing about. Why the fuck am I dreaming of this? And Suzie, of all people, his mind growled. Ever since he’d abandoned Xio’s place yesterday, the sequence of events traversed around his mind like a carnival, and Oscar couldn’t help but ruminate.

Why was I such a fucking pussy? Why did it matter if I left so suddenly? Why did I feel so ashamed… I still feel ashamed, Christ on a bike. Launching his body out of bed and flexing his pawpads on the cool, laminated floor, he retrieved his Pawphone still charging from the nightstand behind the head of the bed, his eyes lidded and bleary.

That’s when he noticed it. “1 New Text”. His ears perked up, whiskers twitching and his thin tail waggled in curiosity. He opened it up and, as he predicted, it was from Xio. “Oh fuck…” he mumbled to himself, rubbing his chin as he opened the text. He noted the timestamp was sent early in the morning, several hours before he’d awoken.

~Xio Wolfboi [07:22]: Hey Oscar, I’m not sure what happened yesterday, but if I upset you or hurt you I’m really really sorry :-(. I’m in town later today with my parents if you’re about, or we can talk another time.

Oscar felt a deep, deep pit forming in his stomach. Guilt. Pure, pure guilt, mused his mind, as his pupils scanned the message over and over for a moment, feeling unable to rip his eyes away from the message that lay before him; except the Furrygram notification that popped up did just that.

~Suziepoo [10:41]: Hey, sexy. Your mum just messaged me saying you need help with your English homework. You’re free today right? I’ll come over soon, she says you’ll have the house totally free past 2PM. Plenty of time for us to, y’know… “help” with your homework. See you soon, cutie. Xx

Oscar frowned and his paw clenched his phone tightly, marginally resisting the urge to throw it against the wall. It’s been two weeks!! Why does she have to pop up NOW, of all times?

“Ahhhh… that’s better," sighed the cat as the oversized square shower head above him powerfully sprayed hot water on and around his plump, toned figure. He admired his body from this angle; despite his flaws, he knew he had a cute body to work with, and seeing himself like this drew a little smile on his cat muzzle.

He saw black all over, save for white blotches that appeared randomly between his tummy and his upper leg, like a white paint bucket had been chucked at his middle area. His gut protruded slightly but underneath lay a hefty film of muscle, which extended all around his middle, back and shoulders. His legs and tush carried a similar plump-ness about them, with thick thighs that held a film of chub that seemed to disappear when he tensed them; this gave Oscar the thick, well-defined bottom he so loved about himself. His calves by comparison were notably purely muscular with very little fat.

Oscar’s thick left paw roamed down to fondle his sheath and balls; his ball sack hung down a decent way with a heft to them, and by comparison his sheath was petite but tidily kept, a splotch of white colouring the underbase of his sheath and finishing halfway around his ballsack. Lathering his body thoroughly, he ensured to rub the sudsy water into his thin, pure noir tail.

Once sudsed up, Oscar’s roaming paw continued to delicately circle around the base of his youthful sheath. He closed his eyes and shuddered, extending his right paw onto one wall of the sizable wetroom, letting his body lean forward, as his gropy paw coaxed his slender cat cock out from its home. The cat shuddered and let out a quiet mixture of a moan-mewl, his mind digging for what he so desired to think about.

Initially, his mind wandered to Suzie, and an image of her began to appear in his mind. There she is, standing right there, in the shower with me. Her shit-eating grin always gets me… and her body isn’t bad, either. Pure, beautifully white all over, it’s a miracle she can keep it clean. Her figure, short and stout, similar in height to Xio… Wait, why would I think that? Oh fuck, she’s going down on me. God, can she work her muzzle... So why aren’t I enjoying this?

He opened his eyes, looking down at his sheath and kitty cock. It had retreated slightly into the sheath, and all of a sudden, the whole situation felt forced; wrong, like it wasn’t something he really wanted. What? She's a pretty good catch! Let’s try a different method… Oscar took in a deep breath and instead relaxed, letting his mind wander to wherever it would take him.

The wolf boy I met yesterday stood there, paw on his waist, his body curving slightly; though no longer wearing any clothes, his nude little figure was on full display for me. The cat whimpered lightly as his 4-inch, pink cock jutted out from his supple body, the tip dribbling a drop of pre already. Like most cats, his cock was conical in shape and sat girthiest at the base, with a patch of protruding barbs peppering the underside of his length. Mmmrf.. Focus… urged Oscar to himself, and his mind wandered back to the wolf.

Xio grinned coyly, looking up at me. His sheath was larger than mine, despite his little boyish ball sack… or does he have hanging balls, like mine? Mmmrf, either way, I bet his red rocket is a true sight to behold… I knelt down and smiled back at him, my nose trailing through that cream tufty tummy of his, trailing down slowly and teasingly, hearing him whimper needily above me. I could smell his fresh heat from here, the scent youthful and sweet as it danced around my nose. My muzzle stopped just above his desperate, throbbing boyhood, before I took a gentle lick around the base with my rough tongue. “Ohhhh, Oscar…”

Oscar pumped his left paw rapidly, his pawpads squeezing and massaging the conical cock just the way the cat knew how, gently tingling around his barbs and base. “O-oh fuuuuck!” Bucking his hips desperately forward, it felt like all of his blood rushed to his head as his groin tingled powerfully, shooting his thick cum onto the wall in front of him in a collection of ropes that slowly trickled their way down the wall. Oscar trembled at his knees, nearly slipping over as he latched onto the handle that controlled the temperature, slowly pulling himself up. He shuddered in ecstasy in the afterglow of what was definitely one of the best orgasms he’d ever given himself.

Happy with his cleanliness, he stepped out of the shower area and squelched loudly along the tiled wetroom, over to the wooden towel cabinet. He pulled out a very large, fluffy black towel that could almost drown him, gently working the soft fibres through his fur. The afterglow of his release soon drifted off, only to be replaced by that same feeling that resided in the pit of the cat’s tummy: guilt. “I did just cum to him…” he mumbled to himself, realising what he’d done. “Fuck, if Suzie found out… She’d kill me!” Growled Oscar, who felt a wave of anger wash over himself.

He lashed the towel back and forth, drying off his head fluff aggressively, only realising when he wiped the steam off of the full-size mirror that his head fluff was jutting in all directions. It’s not like I can leave her either… She’s so pushy, he considered, the anger simmering into an overall sense of dread for later on.

Oscar strolled through the expansive kitchen, towel casually tied around his waist. Part of him loved being home alone; it meant he didn’t have to worry about the towel falling down. He snatched his phone from where he’d left it charging in one of the USB plug ports - a neat, new feature that this new build had - and flopped down on the blue suede sofa, sinking into the supple fabric, leaning lazily against the armrest.

He sighed and casually flicked through Muzzlebook, then Pawstagram, then SnapFuzz, then finally Howlr. He smirked softly to himself as he scrolled through the nearby furs that appeared on his screen; then noticed he’d still had his location set to London. His face fell when he adjusted the location: no furs in a 5 mile radius?!

“So, he’s not on Howlr…” mused the cat, his mind drifting back to the cute wolf he’d left. A sharp twinge of guilt nagged his brain again. I guess I better message him back… but what do I say…? And, what’s his deal? He doesn’t have a smartphone… I didn’t see a laptop or computer, either! Just that dusty old thing downstairs. It’s like he’s living in the 90s. What’s that all about?

He clicked his tongue, holding his phone loosely as he eyed up the message Xio had sent him, finally marking it as read. He began to type.

~Oscardoo [11:11]: sorry about yesterday, was really upset and i…

Ugh, not good enough, grumbled the cat to himself, deleting his attempt and trying again.

~Oscardoo [11:11]: hey about yesterday, i couldn’t bring myself to…

~Oscardoo [11:12]: i shouldn’t have talked about what we…

UGH! Why is this so hard?! His tail lashed about behind him on the sofa, setting his phone on the side and retrieving a glass of orange juice from the large, American-styled refrigerator/freezer combo. Glugging it down in mere seconds, he resumed typing.

~Oscardoo [11:14]: hey, u still in town? I wanna talk

He gulped. He hadn’t considered the fact that he might’ve developed a crush on the first boy he’d met in his new village… it felt like he’d formed a crush over the boy so quickly! He was just so cute… And helpless, thought the cat, who instinctively rubbed at his exposed sheath, but quickly stopped, feeling spent and aching from earlier. How am I going to explain this to Suzie… She’ll never understand. And I know exactly what she wants… Fuck, does this mean I’m gay, or bisexual, or whatever? This is all so weird… Another sigh escaped his muzzle as nervousness thundered through his body. He flicked on the large flatscreen TV to distract himself, turning the channel onto Fur Gear, obsessively checking his phone for notifications.

~Xio Wolfboi [11:18]: Hey, yeah, I’m in town for a bit longer. My parents have let me go to the woods alone for once, but I promised to be back in an hour. Would you like to meet at the entrance to the trail?

Oscar felt his heart jump and a lump form in his throat, tingles surging through his paws as he typed a quick response:

~Oscardoo [11:18]: yh sounds good, be there soon.

He switched off the TV and jumped to his paws, rushing upstairs to his room to get dressed. He opened the thick, wide, white door to his bedroom to reveal a good size, slightly rectangular room. The bed lay lengthways at the end of the room, taking up most of the width of the shorter sides. Oscar’s paws brushed against the freshly laid linen and had to squint, the sun shining through the two, large, symmetrically-opposed windows brightening the whole room and reflecting off of the crystal white paint of the walls and ceiling. A modern LED spotlight fixture peppered the ceiling in 3 rows of 2. The room was lightly furnished, with Oscar’s old IKEA desk lodged opposite the door by one of the windows and sat on it was a large tower PC, on standby with RGB lights shining from the front panel. Under the desk sat several unopened cardboard boxes from storage. Gotta deal with those soon, thought the cat.

Oscar meandered over to his modern, grandiose wardrobe to pick out an outfit for today. Seeing his collection of fashionable clothes helped calm the cat down, as he pondered what to wear. He picked out a set of dark, Lev-ease jeans and a pair of Makes & Spanner boxers in a silky maroon colour, and lastly picked out a freshly ironed Foxydry t-shirt, setting them out neatly onto his bed.

He tugged the undies over his slightly chubby but broad form, eyeing himself up in the large, floor-to-ceiling mirror that sat on the door side of the room. He checked out his body, smiling at it, and grinned at the little bones that patterned his purple underwear. My favourite!

Bzzt! Bzzt! His phone vibrated on his white desk. Oscar swiped his phone up.

~Xio Wolfboi [11:24]: May you please bring some water? I’m thirsty and I’m all out..

What a little dork, smirked Oscar, who zoomed down the plush stairs and retrieved two bottles of water, flinging them into his sports bag. He jogged through the well-kept grass in the square, fenced back garden and pulled his bicycle out from the gleaming pine shed that lay near the rear gate, which led directly onto a thin, newly-paved footpath. Oscar guided himself and the bike through the gate and pulled himself up onto the bicycle.

Unlike Xio, Oscar still wasn’t used to cycling and he felt the midday heat beat and slap down on his chunkier figure. He'd ‘appropriated’ his brother's phone mount and squeezed his Pawphone in, following OtterMaps towards Huntingfield woods.

His journey navigated him past the construction workers, mostly composed of beavers, who had already started on the houses on the opposite side of the road. Somehow, these houses seemed even bigger and grander than his parent’s newbuild. He gave an awkward wave as the beavers chuckled and jaunted about in the sun, clearly on a break of sorts.

Shame, I like the view of the fields opposite, thought Oscar as his stocky legs brought himself and his bicycle up to speed, the well-oiled bike making virtually no noise at all.. At least we're not far from the woods… What on Earth am I going to tell Xio? Should I lie?

Lost in his thoughts, he paid barely any attention to the beautiful surroundings, not even to the fresh, warm Spring air filling his lungs. Such air contrasted his old hauntings in Barking. He skidded to a halt just before the road stopped and the gravel began.

Stepping to one side on his bike and now drenched in sweat, panting heavily, he looked down at his skinny road tyres, frowning. I'm going to puncture my tyres going down like this! I'm going to be late at this rate….what do I do?

He checked his watch. 11:48. Forty minutes and Xio had to be back home. He clicked his tongue, and awkwardly picked up his hefty bicycle, now hovering above the gravel. He awkwardly shuffled along the gravel, holding his bicycle up. Despite his decent strength in his upper body, the ordeal of carrying his bike and making decent progress along the gravel stones proved difficult. His only saving grace were the ancient trees flanking both sides of the gravel, forming a shadowy tunnel. Exasperated and sore, after fifteen minutes of dragging the frame along, he dropped his bike onto its wheels haphazardly onto the gravel surface beneath.

“Fuck it!” He growled, impatiently hopping back on his bicycle. He launched himself forward and gravity did the rest, the bike bouncing rigidly along the downhill leading into the muddier depths of the forest. His thin seat and lack of suspension did little to numb the bumpiness of the ride, his teeth chattering and his bottom clattering along with the bike frame.

The ride smoothed out considerably after the gravel hill onto the dry, twiggy mud surface of the forest floor. He sighed in relief that his bike was still in one piece. That was actually pretty fun! Lucky I didn’t break anything… he thought, rubbing the sweat off of his brow.

Now to actually find the wolf boy… hmmm. I wonder if he'll be where we were before. Deciding to pursue the remainder of the journey on foot, he guided himself and his bicycle further into the forest. He could now smell the various scents that the river bank gave off, following them, and came across the bridge that he'd seen Xio at before.

There he is. Immediately recognisable, he could see the short wolf teen in the distance, sitting lazily by the river bank with his footpaws dipped in the water. His walk became a light sprint as he closed the distance between the two, depositing his bicycle carelessly against a nearby beech tree.

Now closer he picked up on Xio’s scent, which was slightly peppery and musty matching his cottage, and he denoted the wolf was dressed in the same pair of shorts that he'd worn the other day as well as a loose fitting navy tee instead of the red one before. Oscar noticed that Xio had his back naturally turned away from the direction the cat was coming from.

Oscar paused in his tracks as he noticed Xio’s muzzle lift up high and how he started to twist his body around. He was about twenty metres away from the boy and upon seeing Xio move, he darted behind the base of a pine tree.

What am I doing? Oscar observed his splayed paws which were trembling. He felt a familiar sensation building in his gut and throat. He still didn't know how to navigate what had happened… having not really processed it himself. He felt scared, and the feeling of feeling scared confused the cat.

“Oscar?”

The cat's ears perked and his eyes closed, letting out a low, long sigh. No use running away again… He stepped out from the chunky tree, and met Xio. He paused, just for a moment, as he observed the wolf boy. I forgot how much smaller he is than me, was the first thought to perverse Oscar’s head, causing him to blush a bit, their eyes locked onto each other, a slightly concerned expression painted on Xio’s face.

“I… I was worried that you weren’t going to come…” squeaked the wolf, who’s entire body somehow seemed to slump slackly, his footpaws nudging one another and his head hanging low.

His words jabbed Oscar guiltily, who suddenly felt his stomach churn. “I’m sorry I’m a little late… Can we take a walk?” he asked calmly, his voice tinged with regret as he watched Xio nod. He shuffled back over to his bicycle and Xio joined him.

They both calmly and peacefully meandered through Huntingfield forest, bird song surrounding them, along with the constant rustling of leaves in the Spring breeze. Both were silent for a couple of minutes, looking everywhere in their surroundings except for each other, and then Oscar worked up the courage to speak.

“I’m sorry I freaked out,” he exclaimed, the words coming thick and fast, and quite loud. He still held his gaze dead ahead, almost afraid of looking at the wolf. “I just.. I’ve never felt this way about anyone before, not even Suzie, and it’s all so weird… I thought I was straight!”

His head snapped to stare at the wolf now. They’d both stopped in their tracks, owing to Oscar’s dramatic tone, in a little clearing in the forest. Oscar’s eyes welled up slightly. Don’t cry now… That’s not very dignified, is it? You’re not a crybaby.

Xio’s ears were perked up, as were his eyebrows. In fact, his entire body pose screamed the words ‘surprise’ and ‘shock’. Still, a light smile spread across Xio’s face.

“I forgive you.”

Three simple, calm, honest words that felt like a lozenge to a sore throat. Oscar couldn’t help but smile, and wag, his spirits rising considerably. Then, his body sagged again, and he looked concerned. He still might think you’re a freak… Or just some faggot.

“So um.. You don’t mind that I’ve got feelings for you? I-it’s so weird, I’ve never had feelings for another boy before,” he admitted, chewing his lip. He’d found a nearby log that had fallen, and sat down. Xio calmly sat next to him, quite closely in fact.

Xio shook his head, and beamed up plainly, his scruffy fluffy tail wagging excitedly. “Nope! I’m just happy to have a friend like you,” he admitted. His instincts had him leaning towards Oscar, but he paused. “Umm… hugs and stuff… are they okay?” he asked, looking quizzically at the cat. “I don’t wanna, y’know, freak you out again…” he admitted quietly.

Oscar bit his lower lip. He was torn in two; his critical voice inside of him instructing him to just leave. You’re not gay, you’re gonna lead him on! And you’ve already got a girlfriend, what would she think? What would your parents think? What if your brother found out…

And yet, he still did not repulse from Xio leaning in. He let out a small sigh, his body shaking slightly, and a low purr began to emanate from the boy’s muzzle.

“Yeah, we can be affectionate. But no more than this.”

Xio’s eyes lit up like a Christmas tree, and he immediately flopped his runt-like body weight onto the beefier cat, nuzzling gently into the nape of Oscar’s neck with a low murr of his own. He shifted his bum slightly closer, so that he was able to comfortably rest his head on Oscar’s right shoulder.

This feels really nice… it’s like he WANTS to be close to me. Suzie is never like this, the cat thought to himself, his arms gingerly wrapping around the wolf like a plushie. He’s really warm… Well, it is hot out here.

Oscar’s ears flapped up like little wings as he picked up the sound of others nearby in the forest. He quickly shoved Xio away from him, a bashful, apologetic look on his face. “Sorry heh, I’m not out, and I don’t think my parents would appreciate.. Y’know.”

Xio’s face sank a little, but replied with a reassured smile. “It’s okay, we can just hug in private maybe? It’s really nice though, you feel so soft, and you smell nice.” Xio admitted, a blush creeping across his face.

Oscar smiled lightly, but his smile disappeared as two other villagers walked by, chatting to themselves. They said a brief “hi” to them both, with Xio replying an enthusiastic “Hello!” in return. Oscar merely smiled a little. Here’s hoping they didn’t see you! What were you thinking? You need to be careful!

Xio’s eyes sank again. “I’ve got to go, like, real soon. My parents will be back home shortly, and I need to be back home before them, or my mum’ll go crazy!” Waving his paws exaggeratingly, and miming his ears being pulled, which made Oscar chuckle.

“Yeah, when I saw them the other day, she did NOT seem impressed with me.” His voice took on a lighthearted tone. They really didn’t like you, but maybe it’s because they were worried about Xio? It just seems weird with his family. I can’t quite put my pawprint on it.

Xio nervously chuckled. “Heh yeah. Truth be told, I feel more like a pet than her son.”

His words hit Oscar hard and he was about to respond, before the wolf stood up, and brushed himself off. Standing above Oscar now, he extended his dark grey paw to shake Oscar’s, gripping it like a businessman. “I’ve got to go. I’ll text you when I get home!” Xio said, smiling a little as he padded over to his muddy bicycle.

Dumbfounded, Oscar simply reciprocated the pawshake, and watched as Xio cycled away. His bike is a lot more capable than mine here! He thought.
