I'm standing in front of a mirror wearing a tuxedo, the day has come... the big day. After almost two months of planning and sorting everything out, Krystal and I are getting married today, tomorrow is our last day with Star Fox and the day after that Krystal and I will have our own lives, I've already got a job lined up and ready to go and with government aid we already have a place to call our own, after all being a war hero and the first human in the Lylat System has it's perks. As I look at myself in the mirror, I reflect on everything that's happened over the past few years, from my accidental arrival, meeting Star Fox, joining Corneria and her people, fighting through the Third Lylat War which resulted in the loss of Earth and the destruction of Venom, the recent conflict of the U.C.R. and my moments with everyone I encountered. It hasn't been easy, it's been one heck of an adventure though, one that I'll remember until the day I die, which I hope isn't for a long time. It is scary though, that this chapter is ending and new one is beginning, we will no longer be on a ship roaming the system and fighting for the greater good, nor pressed into a dire situation, it'll be a more peaceful existence.

A knock on the door comes, it open and reveals Fox who's also wearing a tux and he says "Ready bud?" with a proud smile as he crosses his arms.

I fully face him and I say "As ready as I'll ever be." with a smile as I walk towards my best man.

Fox says "Then let's not keep the bride waiting."

Fox and I begin to make our way down the hallways, entering the hall of a cathedral and taking my place at the podium with Miyu and Fay standing on the other side, wedding music begins to play, the crowd slowly turns as the doors open, revealing Krystal with Katt and Lucy following suit, the blue vixen is in a beautiful wedding dress with blue roses, the pure white dress radiating as she walks. Krystal soon finds her way in front of me with Lucy and Katt taking position with Miyu and Fay.

Peppy is in the position of minister which is amusing to say the least, he says "Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today to join these two in matrimony, if anyone has anything to say if these two should not be wed, please speak now or forever hold your peace.", the room falls silent for a few moments, he continues as Miyu comes over with the rings "Adam, do you take Krystal to be your lawfully wedded wife? To cherish and love her, in sickness and health, for better or for worse?"

I say "I do." with a bright smile but trying not to show how nervous I am, though Miyu, Krystal and Katt can see right through me, though Miyu gives me a quick wink.

Peppy says "Krystal, do you take Adam to be your lawfully wedded husband? To cherish and love him, in sickness and health, for better or for worse?"

Krystal says "I do." her smiling beaming.

Peppy says "Then by the powers invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife." as we put our wedding rings on each other and he says "You may now kiss the bride."

I move Krystal's veil away from here features, her blue fur and teal eyes breaking through with a warm smile, we share our kiss, the crowd cheers and applause, we break our quick kiss and we begin to walk back down the aisle. Eventually the reception is underway and we all begin to celebrate, it was finally done, the beginning of a brand new chapter, a new happy start. We eventually find our table with our team mates, Miyu giving me a sisterly hug and Katt giving me a high five.

Miyu says "Bro, I'm so happy for you." as she pulls out a handkerchief and begins to wipe her eyes.

Fay says "Miyu if you start crying, I'll start cying." half joking half serious.

Falco says "Congrats guys, we wish you luck." with a thumbs up and a half smile,

Katt looks to Falco and she says "So, when are you going to propose to me?" with a joking tone.

Falco looks to her instantly and says "Don't you start!"

We all crack up at Falco's expense and I say "Aye Falco, lighten up! Tis a day for celebrating." as I make ready for a glass of wine.

Fox gets up on stage, he says "May I have everyone's attention please?", everyone quiets down and he goes on "I am Fox McCloud, I am Adam's best man. And I there are a few things I need to say and want to say. I remember when Adam first arrived in the Lylat System, I have to be honest I had no idea what to expect from him. And he turned into one of the most loyal, hard working persons I have ever met, I along with the rest of us saw the potential in him and he saw it too down the road. We saw Adam forge himself from someone who was scared into a man, a man I'm pretty darn proud of, a man who follows his heart and stands to do the right thing. And now we come to today, it's not just one of friends and team mates that are getting married, but two, Adam and Krystal have been the morale boosters, the ones who helped paint light against the darkness, I cannot think of a better couple who I am proud of.", he picks up a glass and he says "To Adam and Krystal!" with a big smile as he raises a glass of wine.

We do a toast and the reception is underway, Krystal and I even do our dance together with the song being Never Gonna Give You Up, cutting and eating the chocolate cake was fun especially since Krystal and I decided to shove the cake into each others mouths, earning some laughs and some great picture moments. The day continues without much else going on,but now it was the last day that Krystal and I would be part of Star Fox and likely never set foot on the Great Fox ever again, Krystal's Cloud Runner having already been moved out with my Wraith being loaded onto a small carrier to be moved to the storage hanger on Corneria, our rooms now cleared out and empty. I'm standing in the hanger, in the same spot where the pod from the shuttle landed, I figured it was fitting as it was where I started and this is where it would end, at least when it comes to my career with Star Fox.

Krystal comes over to me and she says "I remember, we first met right here. I remember seeing the fear and surprise in your eyes, but I also remember the wonder that sparkled within them. Little did we know what fate had in store for us." with a smile at the end.

I chuckle as I look to her "Yeah, it's been quite a ride. I still remember looking at you for the first time, taken aback by what I had stumbled upon."

The vixen sighs, she looks around the hanger and she says "Well hon, our roots are here. On board this assault carrier is where you got your start and ours, where some of our brightest and darkest moments took place. Hard to believe that tomorrow we'll awake under Corneria's sky and it would be a shore leave."

I say "I'll miss this place too, I've lived on this ship for as long as I've been a part of Star Fox, heck as long as I've been in the Lylat System. But I'm tired of being in space and solid ground is always nice." with a sigh of my own.

The others enter the hanger, I can see some sad and proud looks among them as we face them.

Fox says "I guess this is it you two."

Krystal says "It's been fun Fox."

I say "We'll miss you guys."

Miyu comes over and hugs me, she says "It's going to be a little quieter on this ship."

I say as I hug her back "In six months you and Fay will be moving to Corneria, it isn't that far away sis."

Falco says "Looks like it's just be us here fellas" as he crosses his arms.

Fox says "Looks like it, no worries the N.C.R. will keep us busy."

Miyu and I break our hug and I say "Feel free to stop by and visit, just give us a ring first." with a smile.

Krystal says "There's one more thing.", she takes my hand and place it on her tummy as she smiles.

I look to her eyes and to her hand, I slowly look back as some tears form in my eyes and I go to speak but...

Krystal says "Congrats love, your going to be a daddy." and she brings me into a hug.

The ladies squee in joy as the guys give applause of their own, I hug the vixen back, it worked Krystal and I were going to have a family, I smile in joy as I think of the human-cerinian hybrid growing inside of her, my mind running wild of who they would be already as some tears finally leave my eyes.

Fay says "Your going to have your hands full, but the both of you got this."

Katt says "Just please, take care of yourselves."

I break my hug with Krystal as I regain myself and I say "The same goes for you, it's been an honor to work with all of you and to to call all of you my friends,"

Krystal nods and she says "I feel the same way, it's been an enriching experience."

Fox salutes as he says "Adam and Krystal, good luck." with the others joining him.

We salute back and wish them luck too, before we know it Krystal and I are on board the shuttle and leaving the Great Fox.

Fox and the others watch as the shuttle leaves, waving goodbye and cheering. Once the craft is out of sight, they begin to make their way to the bridge, passing the rooms that were once Krystal's and Adam's quarters. Fox thinks back to when he issued Adam his uniform, the first time they trained, watching him grow under his wing, a tear leaves Fox's left eye which Miyu catches, causing her to tear up as well. They were happy for both of them and in the end that's what mattered, they'll be sad that they won't see them as often, but they knew they would be alright. The group reaches the bridge and they take their positions, making sure everything was ready for their next mission.

Fox says "Everyone, our mission is to help the U.C.R. and the humans. We won't be doing this just for the money, we're doing it to make Adam proud and to help give his species hope. May this day mark a new beginning, for many. Let's make Adam proud just as he was proud of us!" raising his hand is victorious fist as he tries to keep himself together.

Everyone let's loose some tears as they nod, knowing that this is what the human would want and that right now they can hear him crying in joy and determination.

Fox says "Rob, engage!"

Rob says "Engaging, destination: Fortuna."

The Great Fox moves away from the station and in the blink of an eye launches into hyper space.

Night has arrived on Corneria, the country side giving its peaceful sight as a gentle breeze moves the trees, mine and Krystal's new two story home is ready to go and with it a new start, Krystal and I are laying on our bed, holding each other as we slowly begin to fall asleep while she holds my hand to her tummy, all I can do is cry in joy about it.

Krystal warmly smiles at me as she says "We did it hon, we'll have our family soon." with an excited tone.

I say "May I please go with you when you have the ultrasound?" as I look up at her.

Krystal gives a soft giggle "Off course silly, I want you to be there.", she lays her head on top of mine and she says "I wouldn't have it any other way."

I say "I don't start work for a few days, I just want to lay here until then."

Krystal says "Same her love, same here."

We both look at each other, I see those eyes of hers that are giving a glow I have never seen before, we both smile and we both share a kiss, before finally falling asleep where we are.

A massive city rivaling the size New York stands defiantly in front of a setting sun, at a hospital an anthropomorphic cat wearing a pink dress abd blue tie, her blonde hair is long flowing as her light brown fur shines in the light her green eyes behind a solid piece of glass that makes up the core of her glasses, she makes it to a door where more cats are standing guard, their uniforms are grey with blue visors and black vests with black combat boots, holding red assault rifles.

The pink dressed cat says "Please, let me through."

One of the guards says "Of course Ms. Briggs." as he opens the door.

Briggs enters the room to see another female cat standing next to a bed, her hair is long and black save for some white highlights on the sides as her dark eyes look to Briggs, she's wearing the same uniform as the guards outside.

Briggs says "Felina, how is our guest?" as she approaches with caution.

Felina says "He's doing fine, he just hasn't woken up yet."

Briggs says "After supporting you and the Swat Kats, no wonder he's out cold."

Laying on the bed is a human, his dirty blonde hair being the only form of actual fur as his pale skin shines in the light, he breaths in a small breath of air and his blue eyes open slightly.
