Sorry this one took so long to write! Life has not been kind but I have done it the next chapter is here enjoy!

It wasn't easy controlling myself in the air, I was constantly flailing about like some kind of broken bird. I watched as the coastline was steadily approaching in the distance, I could feel my mate, he was afraid. This exertion was really starting to wear me down but I pushed through. For the first time I started to tire, whatever fueled me I was burning through it at an alarming rate to fly.

Killian's voice reaches out to me “I'm sorry, there's nowhere left to run. There are at least thirty soldiers, even I won't be able to kill that many. I will stall, please hurry."

It wrenches a hole in my chest to hear him surrender, the rest was up to me. “I know where you are, buy as much time as you can." I push myself harder, keeping my current speed. The minutes tick on by and I grow more anxious with every one, but I'm very close now. I can see some dots on the sand in the far distance, there were many surrounding two. Now the only problem was figuring out how to land. I can barely make out the outline of a blade as it is drawn next to my mate kneeling in the sand. Out of time, the fastest way is straight down. I let the flames die out and I begin to fall faster and faster, I'm headed right for the wolf that has his blade drawn. Nobody thinks to look up, why would they? All I know is that this is going to hurt, it is going to suck, but maybe I deserve the pain. Closing my eyes as the ground is approaching quickly and then I hit him, colliding with the fully armored soldier at maximum speed. I don't hear or see anything, only feel half of my bones break or shatter upon impact. Unable to scream or yell in pain we are pushed through the sand until we come to a halt right at the water's edge. Waves gently lapping at my wounds that were no doubt gushing blood made me try to scream in agony. The salt burned horribly, but my senses were slowly coming back as my body mended itself. With a slew of sickening cracks and snaps everything was put back into place, I felt sand in places I didn't think it was possible to have sand.

I slowly open my eyes only to be met with a group of bewildered soldiers, Killian was still kneeling in the sand with his hands tied behind his back. There was Heimal's father, such regal clothing was unmistakable as he held my mate's spear in his hand. The sight before me made me angry, so very angry. With one last snap my ankle fits itself back into the socket, my clothes have been shredded to mere strips of cloth upon the impact, I look at the bloody wolf next to me. It was a huge mess, we left a cloud of crimson behind us as the rest of his blood stained the sand. He definitely died upon impact, never saw it coming. I take a few slow steps forward and all of the soldiers start to back away, not knowing what they just witnessed.

I walk up next to Killian and burn through the shackles holding his wrists behind his back, the iron easily melts and slides off his fur onto the sand. I bring him into a tight hug and whisper in his ear. “I'm sorry, I never should have left your side."

The group before us gasps and tenses up even more as they witness me melting metal with a mere touch. Killian returns my embrace and whispers to me “Thank you, but this is your mess. Clean it up."

We break and I address Heimal's father who now has Killian's spear pointed right at me. “Sorry for the dramatic entrance, but I couldn't let you execute this man. The one you seek is me, I am the one responsible for your son's death."

His face contorts into one of confusion and rage, he still wanted revenge for the death of his only son. I can't imagine what that is like but his voice lets me know just a little bit. It comes out ragged and accented with a snarl “Fuck it kill them both!" he looks to the soldiers at his sides “What are you waiting for, there's two of them and thirty of you!"

I address the whole group. “I am warning you now, I cannot be killed. If you all choose to try, then your deaths will be agonizing." I clench my fist and a small blaze erupts between my fingers. “Not even the ocean will put these out, come and try."

There is one skeptic who charges with blade drawn, his battlecry echoes across the beach as our eyes meet, my blood red gaze pierces his resolve. I toss the flames in my fist his way, the regret on his face says it all. It was a small patch of fire that landed on his arm, he tried desperately to extinguish it. First he tried snuffing it out with his armored paw, he cried out as it burned him. He tried stuffing it into the sand which didn't work, everyone watches as he runs to the water to dunk it in the ocean. Bubbles and steam roar behind us. The iron armor he was wearing heated up turning orange. He cries out in agony “I'M SORRY, PLEASE MERCY."

With that I walk over to him and place my hand on his arm, snuffing out the flame for good, tearing off his gauntlet to let the metal cool. He had a severe burn on his arm, but it wasn't life threatening. Returning to the party on the beach everyone is standing on edge, none of the other soldiers dares to take another step after witnessing that. I address Heimal's father once again “I do not wish for more bloodshed, what I did was unforgivable. I am trying to make amends, but I will now allow harm to come to my mate. Go now in peace, or let your ashes be scattered here in the sand."

Killian stands next to me, looking like he was ready to spring into action should this escalate. Being close to my mate again filled me with determination, all would burn before anyone could touch him.

Heimal's father looks at the display with disgust. “Look at this, two cursed mongrels in love with each other. How anyone can touch that monster I will never know. There is nothing you can ever do to make amends for what you did to my son. There isn't even a body left to bury, you took everything!" He raises the spear looking like he was about to throw it right at me.

Killian growls with murderous intent, but my paw to his lips silences him. “Enough of that Killian, we both know I deserve this." Taking several steps forward to close the gap between us I stare into the vengeful father's eyes “I do regret what I did. I will return his body for a proper burial after I slay the demon that stole him. So for now return that weapon and leave in peace."

The man's eye twitches and he springs into action thrusting the spear at me. Killian lets out a yell behind us “NO!" My reflexes are far superior it was easy enough to sidestep the spear grabbing onto the man's arm gripping it tightly. He starts to waver looking at me right in the eye. The soldiers he brought with him don't dare to draw their weapons paralyzed with fear. “Fine, take it you fucking monsters. You know where to find me, if you have the decency to keep your word." I take the spear from him and toss it behind me hearing Killian rearm himself swiftly.

Heimal's father addresses his soldiers yelling at them in a rage “WE'RE LEAVING." He was obviously not pleased with this outcome but there was no way I could allow any harm to befall my mate. The love we share runs too deep for me to ever stomach such an outcome. Two soldiers gather the mangled remains near the water's edge with a pained expression on their faces. As they all turn to leave I notice one man still staring at me, his eyes wide as he trembled in the sand. One of the other soldiers places a paw on his shoulder and tries to pull him away, my gaze locking with the curious wolf kept him in place. I walk over to him until we're face to face his breathing is ragged and I can tell what he wants to say so I encourage him. “You have something to ask, so ask." Several of the other soldiers say things in protest but the world seems to freeze around us as he speaks “Are you him, the king?"

I ponder the notion for a moment, I certainly was not the mountain king from some old story but perhaps using the story to further my legend in a positive light would be beneficial in the long run. So I give in “I am, there is a demon that plagues this land slaughtering innocents, spreading lies, all in my name. If you want to help, kneel and receive my blessing then spread the truth. The mountain king has returned and he brings salvation for all." The soldier falls to his knees in rapture, the day when you meet a living legend must come as a shock. Placing my paw on his forehead I dig my digits into his fur gripping him tightly. Just like with my mate I give him my blessing. “For as long as you believe in me, you need not fear the flames."

Heimal's father stomps over in his foul mood seeing the blasphemous display “Captain, arrest this traitor. There is no such thing as the mountain king and I will not have my men pledging themselves to this monster." Watching as irons are slapped upon his wrists and he is dragged to his feet an idea strikes me. “As punishment may I suggest the pyre? A fitting end for a supposed traitor like him wouldn't you agree?" the wolf in chains looks at me with a concerned stare before realization hits him and he smiles warmly. That smile triggers something of a monstrous response in those around us some stare in disbelief, others in anger. Heimal's father responds “I truly hate it but I actually agree with you. Once you all see this traitor burn those of you that have lost your way will come to your senses." They drag the wolf in chains away, he looks back at me one last time when I have but one last thing to say to him with a warm smile “Believe."

Returning to my mate he has a confused expression on his face. There is something that I have wanted to do for a long time now, bringing my lips to his giving him a passionate kiss. He returns the gesture pressing his tongue forcefully into my muzzle which makes me go weak at the knees. He breaks the kiss and gives me a stern look “Never leave me again." Replying without hesitation “Never again, we're in this together until the very end."

His confused expression returns again “So what was that back there?" Pondering everything I really am just winging it at this point. “I will not lie to you again love, right now I'm not strong enough to kill the demon. But if enough good souls like you truly believe in me then I have a real chance. So yes, I lied about being the mountain king, gave that soldier my blessing like I did for you and suggested he be burned alive as punishment. When the people see that he does not burn and hear his good words about me they too will believe. That will make me strong enough to put an end to the demon. I won't have to resort to consuming souls for power like he did. After that, I am all yours we can resume our journey and you can show me the world."

Letting out a heavy sigh Killian brings his paws up to my face and massages my cheeks lovingly making me lean into his touch and close my eyes in bliss. “You will always be the sweet innocent pup I found that one fateful night. But now look at you, gathering strength to face a foe neither of us truly understands. I want you to know pup, I will believe in you always even if nobody else does." Hearing him say that the way he did almost brings a tear to my eye. “Thank you love, that means a lot to me." His strong paw finds its way behind my head and presses my face against his firm chest. “I've let you call the shots for a bit, but it's time you trust me again. We're going to spend the night here and relax on this beach. Both of us need a breather, there is a small amount of spices left in my bag. I will set up camp, you go find us dinner. The rest we will figure out in the morning." His paw caresses my ears and neck making me melt into his chest, his way with words always has a way of calming me down. I give him a little sniff, his scent lets me know that I am back where I belong, with my mate. “Okay love, I will go find us dinner." His paw releases me and we part ways again temporarily.

There is an entire ocean and surrounding wilderness to choose from, even though I no longer require food it is enjoyable to share a meal with Killian. The tattered rags do little more than conceal my sheath at this point so I tear them off and free myself feeling unburdened after doing so. I catch a glimpse of Killian eying my naked form hungrily which spreads a satisfying feeling throughout my body. I love letting him stare at my ass as I jog off into the wilderness making sure my tail sways giving him a nice view. Sniffing the coastal air there is a myriad of scents, fixating on the unfamiliar smell of a beast I start sprinting at full speed toward it. The smell becomes stronger and I can hear the panicked hoofbeats of a large four legged animal in the distance, my ears perking up as I come closer. Seeing it run through the trees the beast flees for it's life sensing the impending doom but it is futile, I am faster. Seeing it clearly now it is larger than the deer I had grown accustomed to in the south, lacked horns and had a larger head. I come up next to the panicked animal and pounce, we both hit the ground and painfully come to a halt. Avoiding its kicking legs I wrestle the head quickly locking my jaws around its neck. The thing bleats and cries right before I start applying pressure and BITE, feeling its neck snap in my strong jaws. The sweet taste of blood fills my mouth as I end it quickly the creature did not suffer long at all. I unclench my jaws as the sweet blood drips from my maw staining my face. Licking my chops in satisfaction I stare down at my kill, there was more than enough meat here. Picking it up easily I sling the beast over my shoulders and run back to the beach, no reason to keep my mate waiting.

Finding the small camp Killian has set up is easy, simply running through the sand past the bloody stain it is easy to spot. He is a beautiful sight as always, standing there in nothing but his pants as his spear is standing in the sand. He has his arms crossed as he looks at me proudly. A small fire crackles at his feet as cooking apparatus is set up around it along with his bedroll and personal belongings. “A finer wolf I have never seen. I see you enjoyed using your teeth. Come let us prepare the beast."

Killian wipes the blood from my muzzle with a damp cloth. He stares into my eyes with such an intensity. “There is no doubt, you are one of us now." His words reach my soul as I place my paw upon his “Thank you." We spend the rest of the day skinning and cutting meat for our travels. As the sun sets I reach out and stoke the flames creating a roaring blaze as we roast fine fresh cuts of seasoned bloody meat for dinner and the road. We aren't able to take all of the meat with us, there is no choice but to leave some for the scavengers to feast upon. Sitting in the sand together we share a meal as the sky turns from a beautiful orange to dark blue. Killian wraps an arm around me pulling us together. “Listen and look, I can tell you are afraid. Let this night with your mate calm your mind. We will not discuss what you have done in the city. We will focus on what we will do next, together. For I trust you, and you trust me." His paws are all over me, comforting me as I melt into his touch. He knows me all too well, and I love him for it. Remaining silent I let his touch and words soothe my fears, never again would we part ways like that. “I am enjoying this side of you, no need for clothes when you have fur." Replying with only a simple deep satisfied growl Killian pulls me down, resting my head in his lap as I look up into his eyes. Behind him the stars begin to shine brightly, the north star right above his head is a sight to behold. We stay there together in silence for a while as he strokes my head and rubs my ears. This moment of peace is what I needed, the calm before the storm.

Sitting upright and breaking the silence between us “Love, this is exactly what I needed. Where would I be without you?" His reply is coarse but honest “You'd still be a human working the forge with Leo until the end of your days." Chuckling at his sincere honesty I return some of his gentle touches, scratching his neck and rubbing his ears. “I love you Killian." He nuzzles into my affection as the fire begins to die down in front of us. With a snap of my fingers it springs back to life without wood to fuel it “Shall we go to bed love? You must have had a long day." He grumbles followed by a long yawn giving me a nice view of his sharp pearly whites. Without another word he gets up and drags me over to his bedroll laid out on the sand. Taking off his pants a happy rumble works it's way through my chest. We manage to stuff our large bodies into the bedroll, pressed together tightly. He is so warm and soft, I did not realize just how much I missed having my man with me. Feeling his arm wrap around me as I lay my head on his chest like we have always done puts me in a state of bliss. Without saying another word I feel him drift off to sleep, pressing a finger to my forehead I force sleep upon myself once more drifting off to peaceful dreams with my mate.

When the morning comes I am woken by a nice feeling, a firm furry paw groping my sheath and balls. Craning my neck back in pleasure I open my eyes to see a mischievous grin on Killian's muzzle as he molests me in my sleep. “Morning love." Feeling him pull back my sheath makes me shudder with delight. “I really missed your touch." Idly humping into his paw the feeling of the rough pads on his paws rub me just the right way and drive me wild with lust. We manage to work our way out from the bedroll. Killian pins me down on top of the bedroll and leers down at me with a wild look in his eye. “I want your cock." Slowly spreading my legs I am more than happy to oblige, already half hard it doesn't take much more effort for him to slip my knot out holding me at the base. Just looking at how hard and needy I am in his paw makes my heart race. “I have missed your taste pup. Look at you so hard and leaking for me." I watch as he starts to lick my shaft lapping up the pre cum from my leaking tip. My legs start to shake as my fingers dig into the sand blissfully. Watching my shaft disappear into that familiar muzzle, the warm velvety wet embrace requires all my strength to resist the urge to grab his head and fuck him with heated passion. Letting out a heavy sigh my mate sucks my dick, he really looks like he is enjoying it. Closing his eyes as he bobs his head up and down slowly, wrapping that tongue around my shaft, taking me into his throat as he even manages to kiss my knot a few times making me twitch and throb in response. He wraps his paw around my knot and squeezes hard, catching me off guard sending me over the edge immediately. Throwing my head back my cock throbs and I unload into him. Not once did he stop sucking during my orgasm, drawing it out blissfully for minutes. He makes a point of it to let my cum pool in his mouth, puffing out his cheeks as I really fill him to the brim. Hearing him gulp it down once it is over is incredibly hot. His eyes lock onto mine as he crawls up to my face, pressing his lips to mine and forcing his tongue in my muzzle. Our tongues intertwine and I taste myself on him, he makes out with me for what feels like ages. Melting back into the bedroll as he lays on top of me, his heavy muscular body pinning me completely under him. Feeling my man's limbs intertwine with mine makes me never want to move again. His paws find mine and pin my arms above my head. Sadly he breaks the kiss and I come back to my senses, panting and out of breath we just look into each other's eyes. “I love you Killian." That just makes him smile happily “I know pup I love you too." We both get up and admire the sunrise sitting together in the sand listening to the waves of the ocean gently lapping at the shore.

“You're incredible as always love, should I return the favor?" he chuckles a bit as I get another funny grin from him. “I have something in mind for later, we must focus on the task ahead. Tell me, how do you plan to kill the demon?" Pondering the question for a minute we sit there in silence as I take my time, just looking at the waves and sunrise. “That vile creature is crowning himself king then traveling to the plains of Kassa where we agreed to meet and fight to the death. We have two more days before we must be present on the plains. I am going to drown him in liquid fire. The mountain shall obey me, his flesh will be seared away. Then I need you love, drive your spear though his blackened soul. The rest is simple, I must devour him otherwise the pieces you tear him into will heal one day." Killian grumbles in thought “For claiming to not be the king, you sure do act like it sometimes." He does have a point, I have been denying it since it makes no sense, I used to be human after all. “Enough of that pup, first you said you needed more 'power' in order to do this. Where do you plan to get it?" This warm tranquility we shared on this beach it spreads through me, there is a nagging feeling at the back of my mind. Could I use something like this? Conjuring a tiny flame in my paw and holding it in front of me I close my eyes to focus on the happy memories we have created this past night. Recalling our feast, love, sex, connection, everything and try pouring that into the tiny flame. When I open my eyes again, the fire has completely engulfed us both in a blazing inferno turning the sand beneath us into glass.

Killian looks at me with concern, he feels no pain from the flames just confusion. “Why did you do this?" Just as quickly as the inferno came it went as soon as my concentration broke. Shrugging we watch the molten glass cool beneath us “I didn't do it on purpose, all I did was think about you, how much I love you then this happened." This puts a smile on my mate's muzzle “It is as I thought, our love burns brighter than most." While that is a nice thought, I would need far more than this to overpower the demon's monstrous strength. “I am rather curious what became of that soldier. Should we return to Brinn? What do you think our next move should be love?" Killian grumbles in thought while idly thumbing his spear. “One step at a time, let us pack up camp. Come."

Spending the rest of the morning packing all of Killian's supplies back into his pack and getting dressed. I opted to only throw on a pair of pants to conceal my privates. Admittedly it was a freeing sensation to feel the wind blow through my fur. Helping my mate put his armor and cloak on we gather what meat we are able to carry. Killian has prepared a rather interesting contraption attaching thin strips of salted meat to a rack made out of sticks having me carry it on my back. “Do not use fire to cook these, have the sun shine on the meat and it will turn into jerky by nightfall." My man never ceases to amaze me, he truly does know so much more than he lets on. “Pup, I do have one question for you. When did you learn to fly?" Remembering the heated panic I felt when he was in danger is all too easy. “Simple, you were in danger and I needed to get to you quickly. So I put everything I had into propelling myself forward. Next think I know the fire of our love was pushing me through the air straight to you for that very purpose. Maybe one day I can take you with me." That piques his interest “I will hold you to that, always wondered what it would be like to fly like a bird, how was it?" Letting out a heavy sigh recalling the sensation of air blowing through my fur high in the sky there is but one word to use. “Exilirating."

With a satisfied grunt Killian begins walking into the wilderness as I follow the sun to our backs. “Let me say this … Pluto. I do not like the thought of you gathering worshipers. But we need you to grow stronger, if this is the fastest way then so be it. We run for Brinn, see if your gamble was successful. Then we go from there, come." He called me by the name I had chosen, his tone was serious as was his expression. This is a bit of a surprise but not unexpected. Now is the time for action, and I have my mate to help keep me focused. I run at the pace he sets following closely. We take few breaks on the run back to the coastal city, avoiding the main roads and burnt remains of the towns I laid to rest. It was an eerie trip, there was not a single soul to encounter along the way, a strange omen to say the least. The journey takes us an entire day to return to the city. We eat the jerky that has formed on my back instead of cooking, it was quite tough but still edible.

Eventually the familiar walls and gates to Brinn come into view, two new guards posted at the gate see us approaching and appear shaken. A sturdy white wolf holds up his paw to get us to stop, we simply ignore him. The man was visibly shaking when he gazed into my eyes almost as if in that moment whatever rumours were spreading around were just confirmed. No words came from them as I open the gate for Killian and we walk inside. What was once a beautiful busy bustling city full of trade had devolved into something unrecognizable. Almost all trade has stopped, stores, stalls, shops, all closed for business. The usual hustle and bustle is gone replaced by whispering folk keeping to themselves. There is a faint few wisps of black smoke coming from the docks. Killian notices it too and leads the way. The city's inhabitants give us a wide berth most look upon us with a deeply rooted fear, but I notice the very few that have a look of reverence on their faces. Mainly wolves that have non-white fur. Giving them a slight smile, acknowledging their suspicions. There are many more guards patrolling as usual, things seemed to have calmed down from whatever commotion has taken place here. Not a single soul has the courage to speak to us as we make our way down to the docks.

The scene that awaits us there is not as bad as I had feared. There was certainly the remains of a pyre still smoldering charcoal in a wide open area. Giving a view to any who would dare look upon what transpired here. The one thing that we both notice, there was no sign of a body. Killian walks up to a white wolf clad in armor, the man was shaking with fear as he sees the red eyed beast approach. He speaks “Stay back, no please just stay there." Backing up to keep the distance Killian takes a small mercy upon him and replies loudly. “Then tell us, what happened here?"

A small crowd begins to gather loosely, eavesdroppers and gossipers alike stare at the two cursed mongrels gathered here once again. The wolf refuses, he turns and runs abandoning his post. Time to take matters into my own hands speaking up in a commanding voice I address our on lookers “A reward perhaps, if even one of you believes then step forward kneel before me. Tell us what has happened here, and receive my blessing as well." Silence. We wait, more silence.

A female brown wolf seems to have some courage as she does as I asks falling to her knees before me and bowing her head. “Yesterday our lord returned with one of his guards turned a raving lunatic. He wouldn't stop shouting about how the mountain king from the stories is real and has returned. That there is a demon among us and the king is here to save us. To prove it he claimed to have his blessing that he could not be burned. Our lord had him burned at the stake to disprove such blasphemy but … he would not burn. Now you are here, is it really you? Your eyes, it must be."

Killian looks at me with concern, this was exactly what I had intended to happen. Reaching down I cup her face and make her look me in the eyes. I give her my blessing just as I had promised “Do not fear me, I am here to help. Look into my eyes and know, that the mountain king has returned. I have given you my blessing you need not fear the flames. Can you tell me what happened to the raving lunatic?" She looks apprehensive but responds anyway “After the fire died down he looked to be quite mad the man wouldn't stop smiling as his white fur was stained black by smoke and soot. They took him to the castle and that is the last any of us have seen him." Letting her go I turn to the smoldering pile on the docks, snapping my fingers and lighting a blaze. There is a very sizable crowd that has gathered here and all of them gasp in shock. Pulling her to her feet I drag the woman closer to the flames. She looks scared but I turn to reassure her “You need not fear the flames, go ahead. Touch it." Shakily she nods and does as I command, placing her paw into the fire and letting the flames lap at her. She does not burn. A realization spreads over the crowd as they witness the same thing a second time. Some run away in fear, some are frozen in place, others look like they want to ask me something.

Speaking up I address the growing crowd of wolves of all sorts of color. “Listen well good people of Brinn, in the capital a demon has slaughtered the chief and his family and is making himself your new king. He has spread lies about me, I am here to end this demon. Tomorrow I go to face him on the plains of Kassa, but I need your help. Many of you believe the stories, and now I need you to believe in me. If you would see your faith made flesh step forward receive my blessing place your paw in the fire and believe. I am not here to rule, once the demon is dead I shall return to the mountain where I will rest once more." Turning to the woman I give her an order “You there, go and spread the word for me." She nods and runs off, before I know it a line is starting to form. Killian stands at my side as my guardian angel spear in hand ready to strike down the first sign of trouble. He leans in close and whispers to me “I hope you know what you're doing." Being honest with him I reply “No idea, simply doing what feels right."

I give out my blessing freely to all those who want it. The peace does not last, word spreads quickly in this city and a platoon of soldiers is rushing over from the castle to investigate. What they see surely defies all logic. People kneeling before me then sticking their arms into the roaring blaze behind us unharmed. Killian readies himself, but I calm him and the crowd then approach the soldiers. Their leader speaks up, and older wolf with gray around the muzzle that carries himself well. “Whatever you're doing stop this now. Red eyes or not the mountain king is not real it is just a story. We don't need this blasphemous nonsense in our city." Perhaps it would be good to set an example but some recent convert speaks up behind us. “It's not a lie it's all true look!" The young man shoves both of his arms into the fire and pulls them back out unscathed.

“Yes captain, why don't you try it out for yourself then if I'm not real. Receive my blessing and find that you need not fear the flame." He shrugs off the suggestion and draws his sword pointing it at me “Leave or die." With a heavy sigh I see that there is no other choice. “I'm sorry that you have chosen death captain." I need not even snap my fingers, just a heated stare is all I needed to ignite him completely. His screams echo throughout the docks as many scatter in fear watching him flail around in a panic. The suffering is short lived, after just a few short moments he falls to the ground silent. The smell of burnt fur and flesh filling the air as I will the flames to burn hotter and brighter reducing him to ash in mere moments. It seems the plan was working, having good souls at my back to fuel me gives me strength. I need not consume them to kill the demon. The remainder of the platoon just looks at me in shock. Some drop their weapons others turn and run, but one of them surprises me. He steps forward and asks “Please my king, bless me."

The rest of the day is spent much of the same. I give my blessing to all those who desired it. People spread the word, more come. Having the soldiers and guards around to keep the peace is useful, setting Killian's mind at ease. There is no further response from the castle thankfully. We strike up conversations whenever we can. “So then Pluto, do you think the demon is just going to let you do this?"

“I do, he believes me weak and powerless, that no matter what we do he is going to win. Together Killian, we shall prove him wrong."

I give out my blessing late into the night until there is nobody left to bless, just a few fanatics that have taken it upon themselves to begin worshiping at my feet. Looking at Killian he has grown tired “That is enough for tonight, let us find a nice place to rest for once. You deserve better Killian." After sending the remaining people away and snuffing out the everlasting blaze on the docks leaving only a small pile of ash that is blown away by the wind we head into the nice part of town. I will not take no for an answer, my mate would sleep on a fine bed tonight one way or another for we have quite the battle ahead of us tomorrow.

As we are walking along the empty streets an old wolf that I blessed calls out to us from the second story of a large building. “My king! Do you require shelter for tonight? Please come inside it would be my honor." It seemed like a nice place, so why not. We head over to the door and wait a moment before a servant is letting us inside. We are shown to a guest room that is lavishly decorated with one large comfortable looking bed. After thanking our host we retire for the night locking the door behind us as we strip and tuck ourselves under the covers cuddling together like we have always done. “Love, I am afraid." His paws find my head and pet me. “As you should be, it is no normal enemy we face in battle tomorrow. Know this, I still believe in you, now you must believe in yourself." He was right of course but it was not losing that I feared, it was losing him. “It's more than that, I fear losing you. He will try to hurt you, kill you." There is a silence that hangs in the air between us for a while. Killian speaks up a while later “You won't let that happen. I have your blessing you will protect me." Opening my muzzle to speak his paw wraps around it closing it shut tight. “No, you will protect me. I am not afraid. As I will protect you, we will finish this together."

Letting out a heavy sigh he always knows what to say to calm my nerves. “There is no real way to explain it, but I am definitely stronger now. We will win, together." With a satisfied grumble he continues to stroke my mane “Good, now tell me how you will do it." I have been hesitant to share this since I was skeptic myself but perhaps saying it out loud will give it some legitimacy. “Do you know how much water there is in the ocean?" Killian laughs “A lot."

I chuckle at his response, for there sure is. “Well, beneath our feet, deep under the ground. There is liquid fire, I could feel it before, I can feel it even more now. There is more fire in the earth than there is water in the ocean if you can believe that. All I need to do is force that fire up and out and it will overwhelm the demon."

“And since we need not fear the flames, he will drown in it while we will swim."

“Yes, but that won't kill him his body will struggle but his soul will live on. I will keep him at bay then I need you love, pierce his black heart and shatter his soul. Then I must feast, end that demon for good. Burn away his evil in my gut so that it may never return."

“I don't like the sound of that, you almost lost yourself the last time you had him Rrrrr, inside you."

Hearing my mate say it like that pains me for it is true “This is different, I won't let him live inside me again. He shall burn, then he shall die for good this time." Killian continues to pet me as we lay there in a comfortable bed. “Rest my king, tomorrow we go to war."

“Don't call me that love, I am no king. Just a pretender using faith to fuel my flames. Once this is over we continue our journey, to the east."

“What wonders I still have to show you, but that's fine Daniel."

We continue to lay there and try to get some sleep but it never comes, both of us are restless. The weight of what is about to happen is finally dawning on me. I want to share one last night with my mate in case the worst happens. My paw travels down between his legs, groping his already plump sheath. A firm paw smacks mine away. “No, you may have that when we win not before. Consider it an extra incentive to give it your all." With an unhappy grumble I obey, pressing a finger to both our foreheads and forcing sleep upon us. Secretly I pray that the morning never comes.

I slept very lightly, the moment sunlight graced my eyelids I shot awake. The day of reckoning had arrived and for the first time in a while I felt really on edge. We must journey to the plains of Kassa and end the nightmare I started. My mate is still sleeping peacefully under me, rising and gently stirring in the sheets was all it took to wake him. He opens his eyes and our gaze meets “It's time love. Are you ready?"

Letting out a great big yawn and smacking his chops he grabs his spear resting on the side of the bed and gets up swiftly. “Truthfully? No, I have no desire to stare death in the face. But for you, my mate, I will."

I help him into his armor, we both get dressed without saying much. “I have been wondering, where are all of your things anyway?"

It pains me to tell the truth “I left them back at the capital, you were more important at the time. When you called, I came running. There wasn't any time to even try to hide them, it doesn't matter now. When we win, you are all I need."

Letting out a satisfied huff he pats my shoulder “Well said, the plains are not that far off. Let us make haste maybe we can share one last meal before the demon arrives."

Without saying anything to our host who was not awake yet we leave the room and the house only to be met with a small crowd that had gathered outside waiting for me. Their voices drowned each other out, making it impossible to hear what anyone was saying. Killian gives me a look almost as if to say 'what have you done?'. Raising my voice above all the others I yell like thunder “SILENCE". The crowd goes mute in an instant, I was in no mood for a speech. “Go about your daily lives, I have business I must attend. Tonight a demon dies, tomorrow a soul is saved. Now all of you move." They make way and we leave the city with no further incidents.

Heimal's father has been unusually quiet in his castle considering I have been making fanatics of his citizens right on his doorstep. Perhaps that one soldier had a more profound impact upon him than I thought. None of that mattered anymore, as soon as we exit the gates we run.

For once we see other travelers on the road. Merchants pulling carts, adventurers with packs, families with their belongings. We blow past them at top speed, it was good to see the country was still alive at the very least. As the sun moves above our heads and it becomes mid-day we see the plains of black glass in the distance coming down to a slow walk. Looking across the jagged glass I don't see Draegor around “The demon is no doubt taking his sweet time getting here. We agreed upon the day more or less not when during the day."

Killian suddenly stops and takes off his pack placing it on the ground. “Fuck him then, I'm hungry let's have something to eat while we wait. Not doing this fight on an empty belly. Same as last time, since you're a great hunter now fetch me some meat and I will cook it." As Killian is setting up on the side of the road I give him one last strong hug. “I will be here when you return I promise you that, now go my beautiful deadly wolf." He brings our lips together for one heated kiss. It is full of passion and we let it linger, neither of us is truly ready for what comes next. Breaking our embrace I reluctantly sprint off into the woods on all fours, I would need to go far to find game this close to the road.

Just like last time I lift my nose into the air to find my quarry, the freshest scent was that of a rabbit. Small but it would have to do. It is simple to find the brown bunny hiding, my speed is far greater than the small mammal's. I pounce with intent, wrap a paw around it's neck and snap it in two with one smooth motion. The death was swift, placing the body in my jaws I run back as fast as I can. There is a nagging fear that leaving Killian alone was a mistake, what if the demon was already there lying in wait?

My fears are misplaced, Killian is still there just as he said he would be having set up a little cooking station by the side of the road. An unlit pile of sticks rests below his trusty pan as he leans against his spear planted in the ground. Running up to him I show him my catch between my jaws like a proud child. He smiles and gives me a few pets “Good boy, open for me now." I open my jaws and he takes the rabbit not wasting any time he starts to butcher it expertly. “I see you broke its neck the pelt is still intact. This is good, save that violence for later you shall need it." Without needing to really think about it I light the cooking fire making it crackle to life in an instant. Killian prepares us lunch but I let him have most of it, he would need every ounce of his strength. Sitting together we devour the rabbit together. “What do you think this demon of yours is going to try to do?"

I sit there in thought for a moment pondering the question, there really was no telling. “I have no idea, my best guess is that he will not hold back. A blizzard, storm, raw physical strength, what have you. He did say one thing to me though, that he was not letting that spear near him ever again."

Killian lets out a heavy sigh “You forget who your mate is. I can be a silent hunter, with you distracting his front it will be easy to approach from the rear and run him through. Do not think that just because you got lucky on that beach it will be the same for everyone."

Now that makes me chuckle “Oh I got lucky did I, are you sure it wasn't because of these?" Pointing to the fluffy ears on top of my head I move them back and forth to make a point. Killian reaches out to rub them just the way I like it. “You got lucky."

It is good to share moments like these still, even if death may be on the horizon. We continue to strategize, come up with ideas, replace them with better ones. The sun begins to set, the day is nearly over. Killian is starting to look concerned “Are you sure he's coming?"

There is a scowl on my face “He has to, we made a deal."

“What makes you so sure that he will uphold his end of the bargain."

I guess now is a good a time as any to tell him. “For whatever reason, when me or him make a 'deal' it is binding by some invisible thread. We must uphold our end, we are compelled to."

That makes my mate look rather concerned “Is that why you became a wolf, because you were compelled to?"

Shrugging I'm not so sure at this point “No, I wanted this for a long time. I did this of my own free will my hand was not forced. But now that you mention it, if I had tried to refuse… I don't know what would have happened."

We both feel it at the same time, a temperature drop, a chill on the wind, the demon drew near. “From what you have told me, that sure feels like a demon."

I nod in agreement “Yes, let us do as we have planned then, I will face him on the plains. You lie in wait ready for the perfect moment to strike. Be swift and silent, just as you have always been."

We get up leaving our little camp there and go our separate ways, never too far apart should something happen. I can see him in the distance that mad beast was walking barefoot on the plains again slicing his feet with each step and letting them heal in an instant. He must truly enjoy pain. Wearing some regal outfit dyed purple, the crown I crafted for him rested on his head. It glimmered in the dimming sunlight, his eyes fixated upon me as we approached each other. I was careful, avoiding the sharp edges as we both approached that bloody altar in the middle. It took us a while but we eventually met once again. He opened his arms to the side and gave me a smile “Pluto! It has been a few days tell me how goes the plan to kill me?"

Another scowl works its way across my muzzle, accented in a growl. “You don't believe in me but others do. You shall die tonight demon by my hand, and you are never coming back." Clenching my fists the air around us is already getting hotter.

Draegor starts to fan his face putting on a little show “My oh my you have been busy, I see you think a couple followers will give you enough strength to match my own. Although sadly, you will be mistaken. I will give you once chance and one chance only to abandon this foolish path. Tell that mutt of yours to come out I know he's hiding around here somewhere just waiting to strike me down. I will spare you both, but the deal is, you Pluto will become my bride. That mutt of yours, will become my slave. He will live, better that than death no?"

I spit on the ground “Some things are worse than death, like serving you."

He just warmly smiles at me “Curious what I've been up to in the capital? Shall I tell or show you?"

Something is wrong here, I can feel it on the wind my gut just knows. “You're stalling, what have you done?" I look around but can see nothing wrong in any direction.

Draegor taps his foot on the ground a few times to get my attention back “Impressive as always, I really do admire you. Keep going Pluto you'll figure it out." He just stands there doing nothing. I look around again, still nothing but that feeling of impending doom wasn't going away. Suddenly realization hits me.

“You've always been a wicked one. I said that I would drown you, are you then trying to do the same to put me in my place? No, I don't believe it. The ocean…"

He starts to clap loudly and smiles “Impressive as always, keep looking toward the sea and you will witness the difference between us. Why I am king and you are not." He points to the mountain behind us to accentuate his point. “Go ahead, I figured it out a while ago."

I stare at the forest and wait, there in the distance I can finally see it. A tsunami was working its way across the land. Destroying all in its path, miles wide, taller than the trees. My eyes go wide, it was now or never. “You… how many innocents have you just killed summoning all that water across the land?"

The demon bursts out laughing “Who fucking cares? DO IT PLUTO, show me your fire."

I needed to focus, this jeering demon believed he had already won. I would have to assume he would make no effort to stop me. The air goes quiet around me, I can no longer hear anything but my deep breaths. With an invisible hand I reach down, I feel them, the hands on my back. Some people truly did believe. There was so much fire under our feet, it just needed direction and somewhere to go. The mountain behind us was an outlet and so I began to guide it up all at once. But fuck it was so heavy, it didn't want to obey. I keep pulling harder and harder, forcing it up through the cracks in the earth up to the mountain's peak. I yell, strain, push harder than I have ever before. It doesn't feel like it will be enough. The ground shakes, the mountain rumbles, and an orange glow accents the sky as it erupts, a quick flow of liquid fire barreling down the mountain straight for us at blazing speed, even faster than I run on all fours.

The demon claps and my trance is broken “Amazing! You did it Pluto! A tiny river of fire that is about to be extinguished under my heel. You gave it your all it was a nice try." He can't help himself, he starts to roll around on the ground laughing pointing at me, jeering at me. I know a physical fight with him is rather pointless, he can still overpower me easily that way. Is this truly how it ends? I fall to my knees in despair. The tidal wave is quickly approaching, there would only be a few more seconds. The liquid fire reaches the plains gushing past us. There is a hand on my shoulder, I look up and see his face, my mate is there with me in the thick of it. “Get up."

I do as he commands. “This is not how this ends. Look at that arrogant demon, he thinks he has already won. Don't you stop trying now, we need more fire, so much more."

I look over to the side, the tidal wave is nearly upon us. We're about to get slammed and crushed in an instant, and I don't know how to save Killian even though I will survive. His paw slaps my face hard “Focus."

I compose myself, directing the liquid fire around us, willing it to cool quickly I build us a little shelter until all the light is blocked, the demon's laughs subside and only a flame I hold in my paw illuminates the space we are in. I hear it, the waves crash above us like thunder and we are buried. We have a moment's reprieve, Draegor would get bored and break our little shelter soon. Killian cups my face and makes me look him in the eye. “I believe in you my king, the people believe in you, the only one that doesn't believe is you. So take your own advice, and believe." He brings our lips together and kisses me, forcing his tongue into my muzzle once again.

The fire rages, it roars, deep in the earth it responds. It listens to the king of fire, me. The earth rumbles, the ground shakes, the glass shatters and splits beneath our feet. I break the kiss we hold and with explosive force a pillar of fire erupts around us blasting our shelter to pieces carving a hole through the tidal waters above our heads. I can see the demon in the water. His red eyes are glowing through the flames, he was coming for us. I reach back down into the earth, and pull. It was so light now, the following earthquake throws us all off balance, the demon stumbles, we fall over in our zone of safety. The ground continues to split, and we can all hear it as the mountain cries out in agony. Shattering stone as a pillar of fire erupts through the peak and lands into the waters evaporating great amounts of it in an instant. I needed more, so much more. I pick up my mate, he gives me a weird look as the ground shakes even harder than before. The glass beneath our feet shatters into jagged edges that slice my flesh to the bone. I wince in pain and then it happens. With a pyroclastic display the mountain cracks, fire pours out of the edges. It breaks, fire shoots out of the edges, and then the whole thing explodes with an ear shattering shockwave. Debris is flung in all directions, the torrent of liquid fire shoots straight up into the sky in a solid pillar, then it begins to fall directly onto our heads. We need not fear the flames, for we shall swim in them while the demon shall drown. I can see his eyes in the water as his tidal wave recedes, evaporating into steam as it rises into the sky. There is an expression on his face that I never expected to see, he was afraid.

His hands shoot up to the sky, the steam coalesces and falls as rain but it is simply too hot even for him. He just ends up making more steam. As soon as this started it would be over I look my mate in the eye and we embrace, turning my back to it I absorb most of the impact. The liquid fire hits us but it is not hot, it is warm. Our clothes are incinerated in an instant leaving us bare. Kicking off the ground we swim through to the surface. Gasping for air it took much longer to swim through liquid fire than it does through water, this stuff is heavy. The sight around us was worse than the one before, what have I done? Liquid fire has replaced the water an orange glow permeates the land as steam and sulfur mix. Behind us the mountain is gone, replaced with a gaping wound in the ground as it continues to spew forth more fire. It is solid enough to walk on as we plant our feet on the top layer. We see a mad roar of bubbles in front of us, then a blackened skeletal bony paw pierces the surface as well. “This is it Killian, now or never."

We charge, there shall be no mercy for this demon today. Killian's spear hasn't melted yet as we make it to him, I grab onto that bony paw and yank it upwards, holding it still, with a swipe of his spear the bone breaks free and I toss it into the lake of fire. The demon keeps desperately trying to free himself as his head pokes out, an empty skeleton devoid of flesh. Killian keeps slicing, I keep breaking. The demon is in pieces, he truly did not believe something like this would happen. Once his head and arms are gone it will take time for those to regrow, he must be using every ounce of his strength to keep himself together. Yanking the rib cage out I can see it, where the heart should be there is a strange black mass, a stain on reality. His soul was so dark I could see it with my own two eyes. Pointing it out Killian wastes no time, he pierces the demon's soul with the spear. The resulting sound is indescribable, an otherworldly screech rings out in our ears making them literally bleed. We can no longer hear, so I talk to Killian in our heads once again. “Keep stabbing."

He composes himself and does just that, piercing that vile black mass over and over again. Filling it full of holes that would not heal. The bone was regrowing, arms were reforming, the head was nearly back. I smash the ribcage open and wrap my paw around his very soul, digging my claws in then tearing off a piece. Bringing it to my mouth I do not hesitate, just like so many innocent souls he has devoured I would now devour his. The taste is just as bad as I remember, but I swallow it nonetheless. It makes me sick, but I keep it down as I light a fire in my belly, he burns into nothingness in my gut. I keep going, piece after piece, Killian keeps cutting off his limbs as they regrow and discarding them into the lake of fire.

About ¾ of the way there I feel like I'm about to puke, I can't bring myself to eat another bite. Killian notices this as his spear finally gives in to the heat. It melts in his hands and drips into the lake mixing with the liquid fire. I retch and heave but his paw wraps around my muzzle as I hear him in my head once more. “There is no more time, my spear is gone. The demon heals, and you can no longer eat. So I will."

Before I can stop him his foot smashes the rib cage once more exposing what was left of the demon's soul. He grabs it with one smooth motion and yanks it free, stuffing it into his waiting maw. I can see the shock on his face, the taste is truly revolting but he swallows it hard nonetheless. Without thinking I do the same for him, I light a fire in his belly to incinerate that evil now trapped inside him. Looking into his eyes I can see that he is still with me, it worked. It felt like it was truly over. Letting out a sigh of relief we lay back and float on the lake of fire that now flows from the gaping wound in the earth. The job done, I focus as the flow recedes then stops completely. It will take ages for all of this to cool completely, the tidal wave is now gone along with the waters behind it as they recede back to the ocean where they belong. Such a torrent of destruction will take many years to heal. I speak out loud my ears having healed “Can you hear me Killian?"

He responds to my delight “I can hear you."

“We actually did it, the demon is dead." I get up and yank the remainder of his charred bones from the lake of fire, Heimal's remains more than anything now that the black soul is gone. All that was left was a shattered torso, spine, two stubs for arms, a pair of legs, and no head. “I guess we can consider these Heimal's remains now. I still haven't forgotten my promise." Just then I retch and heave, something was forcing its way out of my gut. It didn't feel like Draegor but Killian's paw wraps itself around my muzzle instinctively. “Keep it down, don't you dare throw any of it up."

I hate myself for it but I break his hold on me forcefully, and cough up a small white sliver. “It's not part of the demon, what is this thing?" Examining it in my paw the thing is so small and pure white with little specks of gray mixed in. “No it can't be … I think this is Heimal's soul. I guess the demon ate him after all."

Killian looks at me funny “What are you talking about? There's nothing in your paw?"

I suppose he couldn't see it for whatever reason, I clasp it tightly and don't let it go. “How are you feeling by the way, any different now that you ate part of him?"

Killian flexes, tests his muscles and tries to see any difference “I don't feel any different, but I guess time will tell. I have you to help me after all, you know more about this stuff than I do."

There would be time to figure all of that out later, a thought occurs to me as I stare at the tiny soul I hold. Pulling up the skeleton from the hardening liquid beneath our feet it collapses into a small pile, the unholy energy keeping it together now completely dissipated. Placing the soul into the pile I give it a shot, what's the worst that could happen? I bite off one of my own fingers. Killian yells at me in shock “What the FUCK?" I hold up my bleeding paw as the finger regrows. “Relax, just watch."

Placing my flesh into the bone pile I infuse it with that soul, then will it to heal just as I would. The body begins to reform and regrow. Bones rearrange themselves into the proper places, Killian moves to smash them to pieces. “NO! I am trying to revive Heimal, it is in my power to do so now."

He looks at me bewildered “You can't be serious."

With a warm smile I reassure him “I am, for what I did to him this is the least I can do. The demon is gone forever now, we ate him together. There is nothing to fear."

We sit and watch, the process is painfully slow. The flesh does not burn as it regrows, the bones turn back to white and regain volume. Nerve, tendon, muscle, vessels, organs all come back one by one. Killian looks grossed out by the process “This is unnatural, would you do this if you lost a limb or two?"

I nod “Yeah, would you like to see? I can tear one off for you." He shakes his head, looks like he regrets asking. Eventually the head skin and fur are fully grown back, and what is laying on the ground definitely looks like the beautiful white wolf I brutally sacrificed. Killian leans down to examine him “He is quite beautiful, I can see why you would want to fuck him."

I blush beneath my fur “Hey it wasn't like that, I was using him you know that. You are all the wolf I need." With a smirk he teases me “You won't cheat on me again, not after the things I am going to do to you once things have calmed down."

Our conversation is interrupted by a groan coming from the recently revived wolf, he sits up rubs his eyes and opens them to look at us. Two large black wolves staring down at him, he looks around then shouts in a panic, screaming as he realizes that he's sitting on scalding hot rocks. We do nothing, he realizes his situation soon enough as he does not burn. “What happened, where am I, who are you, why am I not on fire, where is this place?" Killian gets an annoyed look on his face and wraps his paw around Heimal's muzzle to shut him up. “We will answer one question at a time."

Nodding to me Killian releases his hold on him and I scoot forward so we're face to face. “Welcome back Heimal, what's the last thing you remember?"

He rubs his head in thought “It was dark, there were so many voices, all of them screaming. I tried to hide but there was nowhere to go. I think I died and went to a bad place."

Nodding to confirm his suspicions I continue “Yes, you died. Welcome back to the land of the living. As for where you are, this is the plains of Kassa, freshly buried once more."

He looks around confused “Did you bring me back? Why?"

There was no easy way to say it. “I brought you back, because I am the one who killed you."

His demeanor changes as he backs away in fear “No… it can't be. You stay away from me, demon."

I chuckle “I am no demon, that dark place you were, that was a demon. I don't expect forgiveness, but your father misses you dearly. I promised him I would return your body, but now he can have his son back. We have places to be." I lay my hand on Killian's shoulder. “Think you can find your way home?"

He looks at himself completely naked but alive “Y-yeah, I'll be glad to never see you again, Daniel." Now that puts a smile on my face.

“Glad to know your mind is still intact, sorry about the city though. Most of the people there believe me to be the mountain king from the old stories."

We look around at the scenery before us, countless lives were no doubt lost as collateral damage during this conflict. But the liquid fire was cooling and turning into glass, just like in the old stories. No doubt there would be veins of mithril locked within them. Heimal shakily looks back at me trembling now. “Are you?"

I give him one last smile “I am."

There is a nagging feeling in the back of my skull, I am supposed to do something here. Looking up at the sky I can barely make out the north star shining through the orange glow around us. Then it hits me, one last act here before we leave. Placing my paw on a sharp tooth I pull hard slicing it open. There is a small vein of mithril bubbling at our feet a few paces away. I drip my blood into the liquid metal. The words of that old fortune teller strike me once again, I am supposed to craft something here. A sword? No, my fate is my own. I smile and let the wound heal walking away, we are already free.

With that I pull Killian with me, and we start walking to the east. Leaving the young wolf with his life, he was a resourceful young man he would be fine. “That's it then?" my mate asks me.

“That's it, where should we go next?"

“Just like we agreed upon, I have the rest of the world to show you. We might be naked, broke, without a weapon, but we have each other. We will make it work somehow." The orange glow from the lake of fire dies down as we look up, it has been night for quite a while. Our feet touch the warm soil as we leave the plains behind us.

Three years later.

I return to our sizable home in the capital, after a long time we had finally done it. Killian had shown me all the wonders he had discovered in his life and I kept my end of the bargain. We now had a large fine house, with plumbing and delicacies to eat each day. Turns out being a living deity in the eyes of some makes it easy to collect coin. We drink, we spar, we travel, we fuck, we do whatever we want with our lives now. Walking into the door I see him naked as he prefers, my mate lounging on a large couch. We keep each other in shape, not wanting to lose muscle mass due to being rich and lazy. “Good you're home, there's a present waiting for you upstairs .. pup."

That perks my ears up “Pup eh? I can't remember the last time you called me that." Eager to find out what it was I head upstairs to our bedroom, what I find in there is truly surprising. A set of mithril chains now adorns the bed, hangs from the ceiling, all affixed to rather sturdy looking mounts that have been installed all around the room. My mate is upon me instantly, placing my hands behind my back and locking them together with mithril cuffs. “You think I forgot what you said all those years ago? We need chains of mithril for you are too strong for anything else. Go ahead try your hardest to break them."

Smiling I try, but find that indeed they are just strong enough to prevent me from brute forcing my way out of them. If I really wanted to I probably could, but in the throes of ecstasy they would definitely suffice. “I can't love." That elicits a feral growl from behind me, his muzzle coming next to my ear. “Good."

He handles me roughly, pushing me forward toward the bed. Pushing me roughly onto it I fall face first, my ass in the air. “I hope you don't mind pup, but I've been looking forward to doing something like this for a while now." His paws are all over me, and he starts to rip and tear at my nice outfit.

“Hey! These are- MMF." His paw closes my muzzle shutting me up, and he brings a small chain of mithril in front of my face letting me see what it was before he wraps it around locking my jaws shut tight. Without another word he keeps working, literally ripping my clothes off like a feral beast. My cock is already stirring between my legs as I feel the tip push out. Soon enough I'm fully naked surrounded by a pile of my once expensive garment. My mate brings my arms under my legs around to my front then pins them above my head, affixing the cuffs to a large chain. I couldn't break free from this easily. I felt so vulnerable and exposed just like when we first met, the ravenous beast about to use my body. He takes his time, slowly exploring me with his paws playing with my nipples, still avoiding my sheath at all costs which drives me mad. A paw finds its way to my balls, then travels lower to tease my hole rubbing it in slow circles as I get hard between my legs. I look between his and his cock is doing the same, he was going to really fuck me hard tonight.

I let out a surprised grunt when he gets on the bed with me and straddles my hips, lifting his tail and placing my tip right at his entrance. It was so warm and inviting already I get hard very quickly. “Yeah that's right, it's been a while since I've let you fuck me. Ever since that first time I let you knot my ass you could never get enough. I've had to put you in your place one too many times. Lucky for you, I'm craving it tonight."

I watch as Killian reaches over to a nearby night stand and takes out a jar of lube, we were running low on the stuff once again. My cock instantly responds throbbing with need and pushing all the way out to smear my pre against his firm cheeks and under that fluffy tail. That just makes him get that smug grin on his face again as he dips his fingers into the liquid, reach behind and smearing it all over my throbbing dick. I literally couldn't wait any longer, the chains rattled as I pulled on them in response. A firm paw wraps around my shaft making me throb, feeling the tip pressed right against that perfect hole under my mate's tail. He lets it slip out of place, with a devilish grin. He does it again and again to tease me, I try to hump up and force it into him but it's not the first time I've tried that. “No no, you control yourself." I grunt and groan, a fiery gaze in my eyes as I stare up at him.

He has mercy and lets the tip slip inside his perfect ass. I lean my head back and moan in ecstasy. My man always feels so damn tight and it drives me wild as my shaft sinks deeper into him. I let out a long drawn out breath once his hole is resting right on my throbbing knot. Killian's face is contorted in pleasure as well, he knows just the right pace and angle to use me for his own pleasure. Starting to ride me so agonizingly slowly I look down and watch his cock bounce with need each time my shaft slides past his special spot making him shudder and moan. He was dripping with need all over my stomach already wetting my fur. I pull on the chains once again, it's the room that creaks in response to my strength but it holds. I want to break free and fuck him hard so badly, but I am stuck.

Killian rides me faster and harder, panting and moaning loudly as the bed creaks, the headboard smacking the wall behind us. We don't care who listens to our sex, nobody has dared complain yet. I look at his cock point straight at me so incredibly hard, he rides me like that for what feels like hours. Just on the edge, until he us unable to stop himself anymore. Clenching his teeth and slamming down hard, my knot presses beautifully against his hole as it slips inside. I see nothing but white and stars as I cum inside him hard. I feel a warm liquid shooting all over my face and chest. It barely registers in my mind as I fill my mate's ass to the brim, my cock is throbbing so much it almost hurts. The way his hole squeezes my knot right at the base, the pleasure is truly indescribable. My entire body convulses involuntarily as the chains creak in protest once more, I can hear the sound of wood cracking and manage to stop myself. I hump up into him, trying to drive myself ever deeper. We lay there for minutes as our orgasms die down together. Killian removes the chain binding my muzzle shut and I breathe hard. “Oh fuck, that's so incredible every time."

He leans down and kisses me deeply, our tongues fight in each other's muzzles for a while before the kiss is broken. “It is, which is why most nights it's my job to knot your ass." He clenches hard on purpose making me shudder and moan for him. My legs start to shake as I swear I'm about to cum again. “Yeah that's right, enjoy it while you can. Next time I'm fucking you while you're all chained up." He produces a key from the nightstand and unlocks my cuffs releasing me. My paws immediately go to his hips and hold him, I love that feeling.

“We're going to be stuck like this for a while pup, I'll let you hold me again tonight. I know how much you've come to enjoy it." We manage to maneuver ourselves so we're laying on our side. I wrap my arms around him holding him against my chest. Just like he would do for me all those years ago. “I love you Killian, ready for sleep?"

He lets out a satisfied grumble as we get comfortable. I press a finger to both of our foreheads and force sleep upon us once again. We've gotten used to our new situation, neither of us needs to sleep but damn is it a good feeling to wake up to the one you love each morning.

The end.
