Into the Demon's Den
A commission for osmond
Alex meets an old friend Joseph who is haunted by terrifying, but somewhat arousing dreams of something stalking him. As the reality of magic and the real world begin to coalesce Alex and Archibald realize that this might be far more than simple night terrors.
“Into the Demon's Den"
“Joseph... Joseph..."
The night had blanketed the bedroom in a complete layer of darkness, even the humming sounds from his computer, that little green light indicating his monitor was asleep, the hallway light that led out to his apartment, everything was black. “The power must have gone out again..." He said to himself, trying to ignore the voices in his head as he turned over and wrapped his pillow over his ears, letting out a puff of frustration trying to get to sleep. The sound of his name had awoken him, and he lay there terrified. As if something had come into his room and had still not left it. He tucked himself harder under the bed, the cold outside making his room unbearably frigid, but every time he did that he felt like he was being cooked alive. Every night this week, some strange sound in his room had awoken him, and thus made him completely ill suited to go to his job the next day. He'd only gotten more and more exhausted as the days passed and he grew more and more restless during his waking hours.
He ignored the pool of sweat pressing cold against his back his eyes were so heavy, he just needed to get some sleep. Just has he dozed off again, he could feel something graze his leg, even the sound of what...seemed like laughter whispering through the darkness.
Joseph cried out and bolted upright in his bed, throwing his blankets to the side, only to see nothing there. His heart was pounding and his exhaustion was showing clearly through the buzzing in his head. He'd been up for over fourteen hours, and that was after a night of getting about four hours of sleep. He ran a hand over his face, rubbing off the sweat that had accumulated on his brow and he slowly slid toward the edge of the bed. Still trembling as his bare feet touched the floor. An ominous feeling crept up through his skin and he pulled his feet back up under him. He rolled forward and looked under the bed; but again, nothing was there.
The light of his bathroom made Joseph wince in pain as it came on and he stood in the mirror looking at his reflection. He was gaunt in appearance, he'd lost several pounds over the last week or two and was practically scrawny looking at himself. Staring into his chestnut colored eyes, his shoulder-length raven hair that dangled over his face as well as down the back of his neck, he managed to pull it back and breathed deep. “Jesus there's nothing wrong with you Joey...nothing that a little sleep won't cure. Stop acting like a fucking five year old... there's no such things as monsters...no such thing as monsters under your bed, get ahold of yourself!"
He placed his hands under the cold tap and leaned down to splash water in his face. As he looked up, he could have sworn he saw something reflected in the mirror. He let out a scream of panic and whirled around only to find he was alone in the bathroom. He groaned aloud and slumped down against the sink. He needed a shower before he could even go back to bed. As he looked toward the clock in the hallway, he realized it was quarter to three in the morning, and he was exhausted. He turned on the shower and stripped down out of his boxers. He stepped in and let the water hit him full on in the face as he began to bathe and wash his body down, he still couldn't shake off the strange sensation he was being watched. As he looked up he was shocked to see that what was coming out of the shower head was not water; it was red and it was pouring over his body, coating it in a thick, crimson color. His heart began pounding again as he felt like something was close. As he moved to turn off the shower, the liquid began to pour with even more force, pushing him down. As the familiar smell and taste washed over his face and his lips, he was horrified to realize that it wasn't water at all; it was blood. He began to panic, standing up again, he could see a reflection in the shower wall of something standing directly behind him. A massive beast with a goat-like head, tall horns and creepy red eyes. It suddenly grabbed Joseph around the waist, pulling him hard against an erect cock that slid perfectly along the shape of his ass. “Come to me Joseph!" It growled in his ear with a voice full of lust and desire. Joseph screamed.
“NOOOOOOOO!" Joseph awoke in his own bed, jolting upright, covered in sweat as his alarm rang out from behind him.
Falling back onto his pillow he emitted a frantic sigh, trembling as he looked around the room, which looked perfectly normal at this early hour of the morning. He looked at his ceiling and a wave of exhaustion washed over him; he'd only gone to bed about three hours ago and it felt like he'd actually slept about fifteen minutes out of that. He put his hands over his face and groaned. “What the fuck is happening to me?" He asked in frustration.
Morning had come on a lot faster than he expected, as the sun came up and began to filter into his room, Joseph got up and climbed out of his bed. He made his way into the bathroom, noticing at the same time that there was a strange tear in his underwear. He took them off to investigate them, but it looked like a simple snag on something in the night had caused the damage and discarded them before getting into the shower.
Joseph worked as a mechanic on the other end of town, he dressed in his typical work coveralls and put on a hat for his trip out for the day. By the time he got to work it was already almost nine o'clock. Not really enough time for him to set up everything he needed for the day, but enough to catch his boss' ire. As Mr. Mack called Joseph into the office, a sense of dread washed over him. He didn't like being just barely on time, but Mack made more of a stink about it; being his dad's cousin, he always felt like it was natural for him to stick to the family business and he was actually pretty good at being a mechanic. So when he reached the dreaded office and Mack closed the door, he gestured for Joseph to sit down; and he did so, without question.
“Joey...what am I gonna do with you?" He asked, pacing back and forth. “You're a good worker when you're around, but lately you've been slacking off pretty bad."
“It's not my fault..." Joseph started to say, but was quickly cut off by the burly man.
“You don't think I'm running a charity, do you? I hired you to actually work when I needed you. Come on..."
“You're right boss. It won't happen again." Joseph sighed, rubbing his hand through his hair in frustration.
Mack's expression seemed to relent and he smirked. “Good. Now get to work, we'll talk about this later okay?"
“Sure thing."
Joseph spent the next five hours working on cars and motorcycles, changing oil, repairing damages, helping gather estimates for other types of repairs. He was good at what he did, but he often times found his mind was wandering to the last few nights, the last several nights. Exactly what or... who was enticing him like this? Teasing him from the darkness? He had no idea, but something about the whole thing felt so odd...
As he turned toward the raising garage doors to head out to the next customer, he grunted as he ran into a massive guy standing just on the other side of the door. He grunted and pulled away. “S-sorry sir I didn't mean to...why are you standing so close to...?" He stopped speaking, noticing in an instant who the guy was he was talking to.
“Alex?!" He exclaimed in surprise.
He didn't know how he recognized him; the last time he saw Alex he was scrawny, skinny, gangly, even gaunt in appearance. Alex had always been the runt of their litter of friends and seeing him like this was both a shock and a surprise at the same time.
Alex looked down at him, and his face turned about as red as the hair still holding onto his body. He laughed and put a hand behind his neck as he looked Joseph over. “Joey?! Haha! Holy shit! I can't believe it! How the hell have you been?!"
“I've been good! Wow! How long has it been? Two years?"
“Just about! You look--different!"
Alex smiled, and then flexed his arms in a showoffy kind of way. “Is that a good thing?" He asked.
“Hell yeah! You always looked so malnourished when we were kids, I'm glad to see you finally got your growth spurt going on."
Alex laughed loudly. “Oh jeez. Yeah, I guess things have changed around. Would you believe six months ago I probably wouldn't even have imagined being this way?"
“What? Bald, beautiful and muscular? I'm sure that took years of work."
“Yeah well." Alex replied with a shrug. “I guess that's just kind of how things are going. So...you're a mechanic now?"
Joseph looked down at his grease monkey outfit, covered in stains and smelling heavily of car fluids, he smiled and blushed, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. “It's not obvious enough?"
Alex smiled. “Well you know...I didn't want to point it out. You wanna have lunch?"
“Sure, let me let my boss know and I'll meet you."
The afternoon seemed brighter after that, Joseph and Alex made their way a block over from where he was working and met at a Chinese restaurant; it was more a hole-in-the-wall place, not really high profile food, but they both enjoyed that. Less to worry about in a place that casual. The pair slid into a booth, still chatting about how they hadn't even seen each other in over six years; not since Alex had gone to join a street gang. After they ordered, the pair chatted for several minutes over the intricacies of their lives.
“So...you know I'm a mechanic these days. What the hell have you been up to?" Joseph asked as their meal arrived and he snagged a pair of chopsticks while Alex fumbled messily with his fork to twirl up his chow mein like spaghetti.
“Me?" Alex replied, stammering a little bit as he took a bite. “Well...I work in retail. A shop in my neighborhood, the guy running it is really nice. Sort of took me in. You know?"
“Some guy took you in? That doesn't sound like you."
“I...ah... a lot's changed in the past year, Joseph. I mean...well obviously." He said, gesturing to himself.
Joseph froze mid-bite, his mouth hanging open for a moment before he put his fork down. “Hold up. Hold up. You're saying that...this...all this happened in the last year?"
“Well yeah! I mean...sort of. It's been an...interesting job to say the least."
“So what do you do?"
Alex pondered the answer to the question for a few minutes before shifting his attention back to the conversation. “I'm in sales. I-I mean I sell stuff at that Corner Crystal store downtown."
“You mean the one run by that old kook you and I never took seriously?"
“Well hey, Archie ain't half bad. You should meet him sometime, you might like--" His lips were covered by Joseph's hand stopping his words from continuing.
“No. Thanks." He said. “I've had enough mysticism and crap rammed down my throat my entire life. I'm not about to meet a guy who thinks he's the world's greatest Merlin or whatever." He sighed. “Trust me, I've got my own demons to deal with." He looked down into his cup of coffee and felt his throat tighten up; an eye--or something that looked like an eye was looking at him. Its red glow bubbling beneath the bubbles of the cream in the drink. He let out an audible gasp and threw the cup from the table, sending it shattering to the floor and a wave of silence followed as Joseph clapped his hands over his head in panic.
“Holy shit, are you okay?" Alex asked.
“I'm fine... I'm fine." Joseph said, unable to keep from glancing at the broken glass and the brown liquid now sitting in a puddle at their feet. “I-I've got to go...what do I owe you?"
“Hold up, I'll come with-"
“No." Joseph said, assertively dropping a twenty on the table. “I can't deal with this right now, okay? Just...do me a favor and stay away from me, there's something I've got to go and deal with. I don't need you to get involved. I just...I need to go."
Before Alex could say anything more, Joseph stormed off. He disappeared into the crowd on his way to the door, leaving the muscled brute sitting at the table in confusion.
After leaving the restaurant, Alex made his way back downtown; stopping at the shop where Joseph worked, his boss said that Joseph suddenly called out sick and would not be in for the rest of the day. Alex continued the remainder of his trip to the shop and entered, but did not immediately take his place on the register. He put his hands in his pockets and continued into the stacks behind the shop's back wall and watched as the world warped around him, as the rows continued endlessly into the dark, he could hear the sound of someone's familiar voice humming in the darkness. As he turned a corner, he encountered Archibald; neatly organizing one of the shelves with a set of books, he looked up and saw his apprentice approaching. “Oh, Alexander. I wasn't expecting you here so early, are you still on your lunch break."
“For a few minutes, yeah." Alex nodded. “Look boss, I had a question for ya."
“A question?" Archie raised an eyebrow and glanced at the man. “Well color me intrigued! What can I do for you?"
“Are there such things as demons?"
Archibald's hand slowed as he was inserting another book to the pile, coming to a stand still as he looked at Alex again. “Demons? Why would you ask such a thing?"
“I was having lunch with an old friend of mine. He started acting all...bizarrely and defensive. He even threw his coffee to the floor out of nowhere, just freaking out over ...well, nothing I could see. But then he mentioned he had something he needed to deal with. It was totally out of character from how I remembered him."
“And you immediately thought... 'demon'?"
Alex shrugged slightly. “I know, weirdly out of context. But I've seen some strange shit since I met you and I sort of hoped you'd know or you'd be able to tell me."
Archibald could see in Alex's eyes he was serious about having this conversation and as he emptied his hands out to fill up the shelf he turned to meet his eye. Taking his glasses off, he huffed onto the glass and began to absently clean the lenses as he spoke. “Well...yes, demons are quite real. Quite real, but quite rare. They almost exclusively avoid our realm."
“Our realm?"
“The realm of humans, dear boy." He said as he put his glasses back on. “They prefer to remain in the worlds between our own and whatever fiery pits spawned them. But they almost never our domain. Our sun, our air, many of the things that make up the nature of our world can be quite painful to them if they aren't careful. And usually such invasions are immediately detected by my superiors."
“You said... usually?"
Archie sighed and cocked his head slightly. “What is your interest in this subject, Alex? I am certain your friend is not being possessed by demons or something."
“Just...humor me, will you?"
“Occasionally if there's a powerful enough demon, they are able to manipulate their universe where it converges with ours. They leave cracks between the dimensions and even more rarely some humans that are sensitive to these cracks might accidentally slip through them. But you have to understand the magnitude of something like this. It's extremely rare, and my superiors in magic would certainly tell me if something came up. I would not worry about it."
Alex rubbed the back of his neck. “You're sure?"
Archibald gave a stare of “Did you really just ask me that?" before giving a sigh. “I am." He said. “But if you would like, I could check for you."
“I'd...hate to ask but..." Alex frowned.
Archie smiled softly and gave his muscled assistant a pat on the shoulder. “Think nothing of it my boy, I'd be happy to help." He laughed. “But I am certain there is nothing to worry about..."

Joseph was still a bit unnerved as he turned down the block toward his apartment; the sun was getting lower, but it was probably still not even three o'clock in the afternoon. But at least he was almost home, that creepy image was looming in his mind, He still felt like he was being watched, he took a breath and began to walk a little bit faster--
Suddenly, a feeling washed over Joseph; a dizzying buzz that made him stagger backwards a couple steps and a cold wash of air shot up his back before realizing that he was no longer on the street he recognized:
The land had an almost eerie silence as it surrounded him, shapes and buildings and even the road seemed similar, but they were covered in a blanket of blackness that he couldn't recognize. He looked up and saw what appeared to be a dome resting upside down in the sky overhead. As he stared into it, he realized that that was where he had come from. He recognized his street, his apartment building, even that stupid green awning of an ice cream store he passed every day as he headed for the bus stop. All miniscule in size and at least a mile over his head. His back felt the pressure of a building behind him as he backed into a wall and suddenly a strange visage appeared in front of him. At first, it was only a whisper of color, and very quickly the colors turned a glowing crimson red which formed into a pair of eyes. The eyes quickly spilled out black fur which became a muscular body that pushed him hard against the brick wall. A pair of ebony horns sprouted from its head and its thick, ebon cock was suddenly pressed flush against his clothes as it pulsed involuntarily against him. Joseph gasped in shock as he tried to pull away, but found himself pinned against the wall as the demonic visage loomed down over him, a strange smell of smoke and cinnamon flooding his lungs as the creature's long, curved fingernails glided along his skin.
“Do not be afraaaaaid..." He said, his voice deep, resonant, but not even above a whisper. His lips hovering by Joseph's ears, hot air washing over it. “I mean you no harm, human. I only mean...pleasure..." His claws dragged down Joseph's trembling body; the soft sound of nails dragging along fabric forcing him to turn his gaze away. “Come now...you know this is something you want, Joseph. Something you've always wanted..." His claw continued downward until his fingers grasped at the bulge swelling in Joseph's jeans. He gave a satisfied moan of pleasure, his tongue moving along his cheek. “Yesss that's what I was hoping for." He urged as he rotated his hand, fondling Joseph's junk outside his jeans before slipping his hand completely into them and grabbing the flesh from the inside. “Give in to the pleasure you've denied yourself for so long."
“Wh-what... what's happening...?" He let out a gasp for air only to feel the demon's tongue against his lips and then push inward, wrapping around his tongue as he was pulled into a hard, heavy kiss. Surprised by this, Joseph felt his arms wrap around the goat-faced demon's shoulders and he pulled him in, giving into the kiss. He let out a growl of pleasure and in turn, groped freely with one hand while his other tightened around his waist. “Mmmph!"
“Yes... yes feed me with your pleasure, give into your passion." The creature growled as his grip tightened.
“N-no...this...this isn't happening!" Joseph pulled his lips away and tried to push the demon away from him, only to find it was like trying to push a five-hundred pound weight off of his body. Joseph felt his hard cock pushing against his pants, aching to be let out, aching to let this... creature take his ass. Take everything. He wanted him. It was a desperate need to feel this beast's cock buried deep with him, to have their flesh slap together, and to feel filled by him. But...no he couldn't give in. “St-stop!" He gasped pleading on deaf ears as the demon grew more aggressive, biting his neck and sending shocks of pleasure throughout his body. “Ahh! F-fuck!" He could feel his chest swell up at the beast's touch, like his fingers were sending bolts of fire along his skin, he realized that it was more than the feeling of his chest filling up as he looked down and could see it growing large enough to threaten to rip through.
“Give. In." He urged again.
“Get away from me!"
Joseph shoved as hard as he could to push the demon away and as soon as he felt his feet touch the ground again, he ran hard. He wasn't sure where he was going, but he knew he needed to get away from the creature. He looked behind him as he ran and could see him getting smaller and smaller as he ran away from him. Those fiery red eyes still glowing in the back of his vision as he turned to face the direction he was running, only to find himself suddenly running into him again. Joseph let out a scream of shock as he skidded to a halt and pushed past the beast, running to the right; the only way open to him. He ran harder this time, trying his best to escape. His feet felt heavy, as though it was taking him a considerable greater effort to run from him. This time, he paid attention to what was in front of him as so not to run into him again. He turned down a smaller alley, and then down another one that was half the size. This alley barely fit him, and for some of it, he had to turn sideways and slip through the small gap into another area. He turned to go left, and then realized that his foot was not touching anything. He screamed in panic once again as he fell forward, tumbling down through the concrete of the ground below him which shattered like glass all around him.
This space was new; the sky faced sideways and downward at the same time, great domes housing buildings, streets, roads, even entire cities were floating past him as he fell downward. He rotated slowly as he dropped, somehow defying gravity as he fell past world after world as they tumbled upward defying all senses of reality and physics. They were like little snow globes, each one containing a strange world and worlds he was more familiar with. He could see his home town that was once on the border of the United States and Canada; a quaint little mountain town, one of their last refuges. As he listened, he could hear his mother singing. But she'd died ten years ago...how could he?
A sudden thud thrust Joseph back into reality as he landed on what could be described as solid ground. As he regained his footing, he looked up to see that it too was tumbling through this galaxy of snow globes he'd just witnessed floating up into the sky. “Where...am I?" He asked himself as he looked around, turning toward these snow globes that were now becoming mini-sunlamps in the sky surrounding him; growing indistinguishable from the stars themselves as he looked at the mish-mash of landscapes now meeting him on this lone desert highway he found himself on. Here, there was no answer. Here, he could only speculate at what he was seeing. This was some kind of dream? Some kind of space that connected all other spaces around him? He couldn't quite figure it out.
“You will find your way back to me...you cannot resist..."
The voice was a disembodied sound that echoed through the space, the sound of that demon that had trapped him here. But as Joseph's mind began to seek an escape, he began to think of his work, his family and... “Alex..." He whispered.
Suddenly, the realm around him exploded into a thousand brightly colored sparkles that filled the sky and swarmed him like a tornado. In an instant, he found himself now back at his apartment. His hands were still trembling from this strange trip he had been on; and he began to wonder if this was actually a trip of the mind or maybe something he'd eaten having a bad effect on him.
Joseph's knees felt weak, he had to rest against the wall and he looked around his apartment, unable to resist wondering what had just happened. He breathed softly as he tried to recollect exactly what he'd seen. His eyes were burning now, he needed to throw some cold water on his face, he rushed into the bathroom. He was almost sick to his stomach and he didn't know why. Turning the cold water on full blast he threw his hands under the faucet, collected it between his palms and brought his face down to splash it off. For a moment he felt relief, then that faded as his face began to feel warm. Looking at his hands he could see a small amount of steam rising from the cold water in them, he emptied his palms and again grabbed more, splashing his face once again before pulling his head up to look at his reflection. As he looked in his eyes he could see they were glowing a bright gold color and his pupils were only tiny dots in the sea of yellow. He screamed and threw himself backward, hitting his head against the wall as he put his hands over his eyes. “What the fuck is happening?!" He shouted at himself before rubbing his eyes and returning to look at his reflection only to see that his eyes were again back to normal. He moved toward his reflection and groped his face and his cheeks with his fingers trembling against the skin. He felt his knees finally give out and Joseph suddenly found himself collapsed on the floor, feeling the cold tile under himself as he lay across the bathroom, his hands held over his burning hot face. “Alex...help..."

Archibald brought his staff in front of him and tapped the floor, allowing the hall in front of him and Alex collapse in on itself, then invert to reveal a shiny white path that went upward into a strange starry sky in the middle of the room. As the two of them made their way up the path and through this portal, Alex stopped for a moment and looked behind him. A strange feeling had washed over him, something desperate, something...calling him.
“Archie can...can you feel that?"
“I can." Archibald said softly as he led the way. “Let's see what the counsel has to say about this. Come."
The pair climbed even higher and as the portal closed behind them, they found themselves now floating in a strange, unnatural space. The cosmos bright and flashing before them as several stars like comets came flashing out of the distance and came into formation as six individuals now standing on all sides of them.
“Archibald." A female voice emitted from one of the shapes. “You have not been summoned to us, why are you here?"
“Your counsel is requested." Archie said as he bowed his head.
“It has not been long since last you visited." A male voice spoke with a booming voice. “Why make this sudden appearance?"
“I'm worried about a friend of mine." Alex started, but was stayed by Archie's staff blocking his path.
“Who is this...mortal that intrudes on our realm?" Another's voice more grizzled and older spoke as he turned to face Alex. “Archibald. Explain yourself. Mortals are not permitted to--"
“He is my assistant. And he is trusted." Archie said softly, but sternly. “What I may see, he sees. I trust him, and his instincts on these matters."
“Very well. What is your concern?" A fourth spoke, her voice velvet and relaxing on their ears.
Archibald breathed through his nose and momentarily looked at Alex, gauging his concern before speaking. “Some days ago a friend of Alex's raised some of his concerns and he began to worry about ...about demons plaguing him. I assured him that this is not something you would allow slip into our realm, but to help dissuade his worries I agreed to speak to you on these matters."
“As is our way." The fifth one spoke, his voice sounding like a normal man's voice, still hidden underneath his shroud. “We monitor for significant threats to this world."
“You see?"
“However." The voice continued, interrupting Archie's calming reassurances. “We do not monitor individuals that may fall prey to the hands of a demon."
“What?"
“Our primary concern, Archibald is the facilitation and control of magical influences on a broader spectrum. Should a single demon slip through the cracks there is little that can be done to prevent their influence in the realm of humans."
“Should the threat be greater, we would take action. But these demons have gotten clever and have learned to disguise their influence from us very well."
“Wait. You're saying that it's possible? And that there's nothing we could have done to prevent it?" Alex was outraged, his massive fists clenched as he stood up behind Archibald, still towering over him, he did not disrespect his teacher by brushing past him. “Joseph could be in danger can't you see!?"
“We see all." The final, more ethereal voice said to them. “Once the demon is satisfied, they generally slip back into their own domain, leaving ours alone. It is a small price to pay for the sanctity of the human realm."
“Did you know about this?!" He shouted angrily at Archibald, who looked back at him.
“No. I had no idea." He turned to the counsel. “And you allow this?"
“It is for the betterment of humanity."
“How convenient." He sneered in frustration.
“Joseph has made his choice." The third voice spoke again. “Whether it is in his control or not, he has already begun to accept his fate."
“You can't DO this!"
“It is for the benefit of others that we allow this..."
Archibald slammed his staff into the floor, causing an eruption of white flame to explode out from where it struck. “ENOUGH!" He roared, his voice overtaking all other sounds in the room as the counsel and Alex stopped arguing to look at him. “Alex make ready we will be leaving."
“You will be unable to stop the possession." The lofty female voice spoke. “It has already taken hold. If you allow it to complete the demon will be gone..."
“As will his friend." Archibald said angrily. “And you allowing innocent humans to suffer these fates should not be tolerated. You should in fact be ashamed of yourselves for allowing evil to take root in our world."
“We do not make these choices lightly."
Archie glared at the first speaker and narrowed his eyes. “Nor do I." He said as he brought his staff down again in anger and the entire galactic space began to shake violently as it collapsed in on itself once more. And just as suddenly, the pair were standing in the storeroom of the shop. Night had fallen and silence filled the room. The softest boom of thunder could be heard in the distance. “Alex, do you know where your friend is right now?"
“I-I don't know! We didn't even discuss it much. We just met for lunch."
Archibald breathed softly through his nose. “Very well then...I guess we'll have to go out and find him." He said with a sharp breath as he twirled his staff in his hand and began to walk out to the shop. “Let's see if we can't track him down."
“Please..." Alex said to his teacher. “Let's hurry I feel like something's after him."
“Well no time to lose then."

“Joseph? Jooooooseph..."
Joseph could hear his name being whispered as he lay in his bed; he turned onto his side, his eyes still closed as he could feel a warmth radiating through his body. He hadn't even remembered getting into his bed, but there was something warm and comforting about how he was positioned. He almost didn't feel the fingers massaging the center of his feet, or the strange feeling of something warm and wet being dragged along it.
It took him a moment to realize that he really didn't remember going to bed, and as he opened his eyes he realized he wasn't even in his bedroom anymore. He gasped as he looked up at the alien landscape; it was the same vision he'd seen earlier in the day, a long desert landscape with floating baubles of different places layered through the air. He rolled on to his back and could see clearly up into the purples and blues of deep space now hanging over his head. But somehow he could still breathe, he was still...here.
Joseph bolted upright and looked around. It was still his bed, but somehow he found himself sitting on what looked like an old desert highway; the wind blowing through the air bringing a blanket of blackened energy that swirled around him as it shuffled off into the distance. It was in this moment he realized that he really was feeling something at his feet, he gasped as he felt a tongue wrap around his large toe and on impulse he kicked at it, feeling the ticklish nature of the touch and instantly he began to regret it as a shape suddenly appeared at the foot of his bed, suddenly rising, looming high up over him, dragging his blankets with it as a massive goat-headed demon's horns pushed the blanket aside and he stood with dark black fur and deep red eyes staring down at him as he towered over the man. Joseph felt his jaw drop in shock as it stared at him, his massive claws encompassing the entirety of his naked chest. He loomed in, his nose coming to within inches of Joseph's face as he stared into his eyes. Joseph's heart was pounding hard in his chest as he tried to think of the words to say to him.
“I...ahh..."
“Mmmm...you are delicious." The beast growled, his voice deep and resonant as he spoke, vibrating through his body as it pressed into him. That raw, mass of muscle resting on top of him. “Does this pleasure you, Joseph?" He asked gruffly, his free hand moving south and grasping hard onto his balls and making the man gasp again. The demon's claws taking his impressive girth and tightening his grip around it. “It does." He answered himself. “Doesn't it?"
“Ahh ye-yes what--are you?"
The demon cracked a smirk, his sharp white teeth showing beneath that blackened muzzle of his. “It does not matter. What matter is my desire to give you pleasure. Give in to the pleasure, Joseph...enjoy...my touch." He leaned in again, his tongue sliding along Joseph's chest as he drew himself downward again. His face came to a rest again by Joseph's feet, Joseph looking down, but unable to move of his own volition as he watched helplessly. The demon's tongue wrestling around his toes, his lips sliding over his feet as he sucked them closer one at a time. As his lips pulled back, a strong intense pleasure washed over him, Joseph looked down to see that each toe that was released from this creature's mouth had become a black talon, and the skin had turned a deep, rusty red as he growled to him. “I am your liberator. No longer will you need to be shackled by the constrictions of humanity, all you need to do is give in." He spoke as he began to run his tongue over the length of Joseph's foot before moving to the other one, making him feel an intense pleasure on that side as well. He could see his skin rising under the touch and as the strange red coloring reached his ankles he could see that they had each risen into what looked like pointed nubs along his skin.
Slowly the demon worked his way over each of Joseph's toes, each one of them turning into black claws like his other foot. As the demon then brought his claws up Joseph's legs, the change in skin color followed. Spines forming like a helix around his thighs until they spread across his balls and crowned the tip of his wet, aroused cock. The intensity was so strong that he could feel every drop of his precum and every drop resulted in a pulse of pleasure that shot through his body. The demon's breath washed over his flesh and caused the flesh to thicken and grow, Joseph could feel every muscle in his body writhe and pop as the other demon's claws raked over his skin. He looked down and could see his chest rising much larger than he'd ever thought possible. He felt the demon's claws grab his arms, forcing them upward as he pinned him down. The demon's tongue continued to travel up his stomach, and over his chest, every curve becoming littered in shorter spikes and nubs as his skin continued to discolor he felt the demon's cock rest against his own, equally hard and pulsing in time with his own as their faces met. “Give in, Joseph and this pleasure can be yours eternally..."
The demon didn't wait for Joseph to respond before driving their lips together, flooding his mouth with an enormous fiery heat that radiated through his face and head. Joseph let out a muffled cry, but it was more out of shock than actual pain. He could see the fire flooding his eyes, the bubbling of his skin as the demon grasped his face, holding him still as his tongue ravaged the depths of his mouth. Joseph felt his eyes roll back, he felt the shape of his face changing and as the demon's claws glided over the surface he could feel the bumps and bony jutting of it shaping into something completely different. His nose cracked back, but still retained its general shape, all he could see in his eyesight for the moment was fire and colors as his eyebrow ridge shifted. The demon's claws grasped at his forehead, still refusing the surrender the kiss as an intense burning began to focus along his temples. He felt his jaw crack and pop under the pressure of the growing fire in his mouth. His teeth were getting longer, his tongue could feel them growing sharper as it wrestled with the demonic tongue deep down his throat. He felt the demon's hands push back on his cheeks, shaping them as if he was nothing but putty. That was when a sudden punch against his skull blurred his vision even more.
It wasn't any kind of injury the demon was causing, it came from the inside, he looked up just in time to see a pair of thick, massive, ebony horns sweep into view. The demon's claws dragged over them and he could feel them burning, the sensation of his touch like electricity as he dragged his claws from hilt to tip.
Finally the demon slowed his kiss, dragging his tongue from Joseph's mouth and admiring his newly demonic visage; fiery gold eyes spikes an horns that jutted out along the frame of his face, longer ones that adorned the crest of his head, Joseph's hair had been replaced by a thick mantle of ebony and rusted flesh, like scales that adorned his features. His face was gaunt compared to before, his cheek bones had risen higher in his face, giving him a refined, almost dignified demonic look and the demon couldn't resist dragging his long dark tongue along Joseph's newly defined features, their bodies still pressed together, their cocks still hard and pulsing against one another as their flesh crossed and their bodies now wicked and muscular. “Yessss Joseph..." He hissed, his voice deep as he moaned the man's name. “You are so delicious."
Without warning, the demon then displayed an impressive feat of strength by effortlessly flipping Joseph on to his stomach. His cock dragged along the contours of Joseph's ass, the heat of his precum causing the flesh to glisten as his claws moved down his still-expanding spine until one cupped each ass cheek and he spread them apart. Joseph felt the demon's tongue slither into him, without warning, eliciting a sudden moan of pleasure. It was the same fiery heat he'd experienced with he kissed him. Only this time it flooded his entire lower body. The demon's claws worked against his balls, dragging over the spines that had emerged from his sack like someone dragging a pick over the strings of a guitar. Every sensation made his body quake and as he looked back, the demon seemed fully invested in it. His face buried into Joseph's round cheeks which seemed to get bigger and rounder as the heat in his body grew more intense. He gasped and went to bite his finger, only to remember his teeth were now pretty sharp, so instead he raised his hips and let the demon in deeper, the heat intensifying until he felt himself cumming hard into the mattress under them. He howled into his pillows, his horns catching against them and penetrating them the harder he pressed his face into it. But when the flood of molten-hot cum had subsided, he could still feel the demon working his ass. Deeper and harder as he growled into it enthusiastically. His hands tightened against the flesh and he finally released Joseph's hole from his lips. He grabbed him and pulled him back.
“Now it's my turn to complete your journey." He growled as he dragged his thick cock along Joseph's ass, teasing him as precum trailed warm down the contours. With a grunt of pleasure, he grabbed Joseph's hips and pulled him back, driving his cock hard and fast into the man's hole.
Joseph gasped and let out a loud cry, he felt the demon's grasp on his waist tighten as he was pulled upward, his back colliding with the demon's massive, furry chest. His tongue sliding over Joseph's spiny cheek bones as his other hand grabbed the top of his head, making it burn with electricity to his touch, his horns intensely sensitive now as they pulsed through his scalp and made him hard again. Not that he hadn't lost his arousal, but this surely intensified it. It bounced back and slapped against Joseph's stomach, leaving a trail of wet precum to drip down his abdomen. His cum was hot and it too tingled as it worked its way down his new dark skin. The demon thrust into him harder, his grip tightening leaving claw marks along Joseph's chest. He growled and bit Joseph's neck with a powerful need and the delight of taking a human soul and turning it to a demon. His length brought pressure to Joseph's abdomen, the two of them writhing in bliss and lust, the heat rising more and more. Joseph could feel himself losing himself to the pleasure, his heart pounding as the demon took him body and soul and as he looked up, he could almost see Alex looking down at them through a swirling storm in the sky; an old man was with him as well and for a moment; a brief moment, he had wondered if this were real. He felt the pleasure envelop him again and as the beast bit down on his neck again, he drew blood. A fiery pleasure re-took Joseph and he roared out as he came again, feeling a flood of molten cum fill his body and his abdomen with its torrent, he spewed his seed all over the bed under them, and whatever this was, it caused the fabric to catch aflame, and both were enveloped in a whirlwind of fire.

“No! NO! Joseph!" Alex shouted through the fiery vortex that had once been the floor of Joseph's bedroom. He went to jump into the spiral, but a hand grabbed his shoulder. He looked back at Archibald, who slowly shook his head. “We have to help him! Archie!"
“I-I'm sorry my boy...he's...he's lost to the pleasure."
As the two looked into the vortex, the spiral of fire that had surrounded him had caused the entire entry to be consumed by fire and suddenly the entire floor returned to normal below them, leaving the pair standing in an empty bedroom. Alex was lost for words, he simply fell to his knees, a slight cloud of smoke rose from the carpet as he did so and he put his hands onto the still-warm floor. “No...it can't be...not Joseph..."
Archibald frowned and crouched next to him. “This is what happens when a demon picks their target, their souls are lost to the pleasure. They...cannot come back as they once were. And you saw his eyes, his face. Joseph had completely given in."
Alex's eyes welled with tears as his fingers dragged along the carpet. “I'll find a way to bring him back." He said as he looked at Archibald. “I want to learn the demonic arts of magic, I want to save him."
Archibald's eyes widened. “Alex...you are asking for something that is...for all intents and purposes illegal in our coven. Learning the demonic arts is extremely dangerous--"
“You asked me what class of magic I would like to learn, and made it clear that it's my choice." He looked at Archibald, a fire of determination burning in his green eyes. “I choose this."
There was a long period of silence as Archie and Alex looked at one another, then Archibald gave a soft smile and stood up, reaching his hand out to Alex to help him stand. “If that is your decision...then I will not stand in your way, I will support you. But I want you to understand that this in no way guarantees you'll be able to bring him back."
“I know." Alex said as he stood up and looked into Archie's deep blue eyes. “But I'd like to try. And this way...perhaps I can help prevent others from slipping through the cracks."
