Domino's been looking forward to attending a concert for quite some time now. Ironically, he won't be focusing on the stage too much - instead, all his attention will be aimed towards a really handsome wolf that seems too interested on making eye contact with him...

This one is a Patreon reward for Kodi (https://bsky.app/profile/did:plc:uexdipqoktozbxvovskl666i)) featuring Domino (https://bsky.app/profile/dominohyena.bsky.social))! Hope you guys enjoy it.

I wish he’d turn to look at me again. One more time.

Domino’s head had been swirling with weird thoughts ever since he’d first laid his eyes on the burly black wolf just a few rows ahead. The nonsensical storm of incoherent thoughts in his mind had only intensified when the handsome guy had turned to look at him – right at him, yellow eyes piercing straight through his soul like an arrow. The hyena had felt extremely seen then, in a way he wasn’t entirely sure he could understand.

But he knew, of course, that was extremely unlikely. Even though the concert he was attending to wasn’t particularly large-scale, the idea that a total stranger would turn on the stage just to search for his gaze in the middle of a feverish, slam-dancing multitude was ridiculous. It was the first time he’d ever seen that wolf – so it was only fair to assume that it was the first time the wolf had seen him as well. Why would he be so interested on him, of all the things going on?

Domino tried to get rid of those thoughts and turned his attention back to the stage, where the singer was announcing the second song and gaining a round of applause and general cheering in the process. Domino had been a fan of the band for quite some time now and the slender, cinnamon-furred tiger lead had been a big crush of his for a long time. In fact, Domino could blushingly admit he’d gone as far as simping for the attractive feline in the past… buying all kinds of merch that had the singer’s face on it.

But now, however, his attention was moving in different directions. As much as he tried to keep his eyes on the stage, as much as he tried to focus on the songs he’d learned by heart a long time ago … his mind kept moving back to the yellow eyed wolf, which had turned to look at him with that indescribable gaze just a few minutes before. The wolf, and not the hot singer that he’d spent most of his teen years fantasizing about.

It’s not like he was looking at you specifically, idiot, Domino reminded himself. Just in your direction. He was probably making sure a friend was coming their way or something like that. Who knows.

But it didn’t look like the wolf had any company. Even now, as the band started playing the next song and the crowd erupted in a deafening roar, the black wolf just stood there… and before Domino could really get ready for it, he turned to look at him again.

His heart skipped a beat.

There was no doubt now. The black wolf’s magnetic eyes were glued to his, an invisible thread woven across all the bouncing people that separated us. Even Domino, who had started sort of dancing a few seconds ago, forgot to move. What? That couldn’t be right. There was no way a simple stranger held so much power over him.

And yet he did.

Perhaps he knows me, he thought. Perhaps he knows me and I’ve forgotten who he is. Should he try and approach the black wolf now that he was still looking at him? That felt like a sensible idea, even though it probably wasn’t. But what else could he do? Whether they knew each other or not, it was practically obvious by now that the wolf was handing him a non-verbal invitation to get closer to him.

And he was really, really hot.

Domino didn’t need to be told twice.

He stepped away from the towering rhino he’d been dancing in front of – a really kind fellow, actually, who had offered to step back so that he could enjoy a better view of the show – and began walking towards the wolf, whose gaze kept drawing him closer, like an enticing melody.

Domino had always found it hard to move through a crowd. It wasn’t only that he found it hard physically, but it also made him extremely self-conscious. Those people had been waiting for hours in order to see the concert up close and they deserved to have that spot after all their effort. Who did he think he was, getting in the middle and sneaking his way through them in order to get closer to the stage?

Except he wasn’t getting closer to the stage.

He was getting closer to him.

Domino couldn’t see him now, as a barrier of taller people blocked his view, but he had a feeling the wolf was still looking his way, making sure he was still moving closer. The loud music vibrating deep within his chest and the unusual amount of bodies touching him all over made everything feel slightly… dreamy. Domino wasn’t entirely sure he could think straight, even though he hadn’t been drinking or smoking anything.

His head was simply working like that.

Someone else turned to complain at him for trying to sneak past them and Domino uttered a simple apologize before moving in a different direction, looking for a shortcut. He was getting closer. He could feel the handsome stranger was there, waiting for him, and the idea that the wolf was simply standing still as he moved closer made him feel like a really disoriented lamb who refused to follow the flock and was instead walking straight to a dangerous predator.

But he didn’t really mind the worrying feeling.

Or at least, he didn’t until he moved past another hyena and he was suddenly standing right in front of the wolf, their bodies merely twenty centimeters apart from each other. It was then when reality hit Domino like a train.

What the hell am I doing?

He had no idea who that wolf was or why he was looking at him. It could all be a joke, for all he knew. So why had he walked all the way from his initial position, guided only by…

… by what, exactly? It wasn’t like he’d had any goals in mind, other than thinking the wolf was kinda hot.

“I’m sorry!” he shouted, trying to make himself heard above the roaring crowd. “I don’t know what’s got into me!”

That, for some reason, seemed to draw a smile on the wolf’s face. He walked a step closer to Domino, who had the sudden urge to step back and flee, like the sheep who’d just discovered he’d gotten too close to the wolf’s mouth.

But Domino didn’t flee. Instead, he remained there. Looking at those eyes that seemed to make his soul vibrate in a completely new, perplexingly different kind of way. They were much more beautiful now that he was staring at them from a close distance. The wolf licked a pointy fang teasingly and Domino felt he was melting.

If he was a sheep, if he was prey… Well, he didn’t mind, as long as the hunting was good.

Before he could really understand what was going on, one of the wolf’s arms had wrapped around his shoulders, bringing him close. Domino felt his footpaws dragging clumsily along the ground as he was pressed against the wolf’s chest. Red, hot blush covered his cheeks. He tried to vocalize a comment that dangled between a complaint and an apology, but nothing came out of his throat except a muffled, pleasured moan. He could still see those eyes in his mind. Going all the way through his body.

Resonating.

The next few minutes or hours were extremely confusing. Domino wasn’t entirely sure he knew what was up or down. His glassy eyes moved to the stage a few times, focusing momentarily on the old object of his desire, that handsome singer, before moving back to him – the wolf that had suddenly grabbed him by the neck. And then staying there, on the wolf.

At some point they were dancing. Domino could feel the wolf’s fur against him, the heat that emanated from his body. Their heartbeats, almost in perfect sync. Those big paws touching him, and stroking his fur and… perhaps growing a bit too adventurous.

Another moan escaped Domino’s lips when he felt the wolf grinding against him shamelessly. They’d reached that part of the concert where the band pretended to be about to leave and the crowd was supposed to ask for an encore, and Domino had no idea how they could have already listened to more than ten songs. Everything had sort of happened in a blur and the only thing he knew now was that he was…

… extremely horny.

The arousal building up inside him was telling – probably just as telling as the firm pressure against his back that he could perfectly feel whenever the wolf grinded against him. His cheeks felt so red and hot that the hyena assumed anyone who’d look their way would notice.

Fortunately for them, everyone seemed to be looking at the stage instead. Like they should.

“This is…” he began, his tongue heavy, his thoughts scrambled. “This is maybe… a bit too… much?”

He wasn’t entirely sure he meant it. He wanted this. The wolf was so fucking hot that he’d have followed him to a different venue if asked. There was a chuckle near his ear and Domino shuddered.

“Bit too much, you say?” someone whispered in his ear. “The concert may be at the encore, pretty boy, but we’ve barely reached the intro.”

A different song began playing. Warm furry bodies moved like a smooth ocean and Domino’s frame was pushed and pressed against the wolf’s by their disorienting motion. He was made to look up. Into those eyes. His brain melted again and whatever remained of his resistance cracked like broken glass.

“I… I…” he mumbled, spellbound.

The wolf grinned and kissed him passionately, wrapping his arms around him. Domino wasn’t entirely sure of the sound he made, if any. His mind scattered like frightened fireflies. His body gave in to the alluring grip. He let the wolf do whatever he wanted to do with him, because whatever he did was whatever he wanted to happen. He was certain of that by now.

One of his paws weakly moved to the wolf’s chest and stroked it. The kiss became deeper, fiercer – rougher. There was a bite on his lip and Domino’s body tensed like a string being tuned. The hug he found himself trapped in felt as tight as the crowd around him, even though he still didn’t know who the wolf was, or what he was doing there, in his arms. The world was so hazy that Domino couldn’t pretend to care anymore.

His ears filled with noise and music and pleasured growls until some words were poured inside, with a sultry whisper.

“The concert’s almost over. Want to take this somewhere… private?”

And Domino nodded. Eagerly. Yes. There was nothing he wanted more than that. The wolf laughed and the sound made him squirm as if it’d been designed to play him like an instrument. Parts of his body reacted to the sound of his words, to the touch of his hands, as if that was all Domino was meant to do.

“Good. Well, I hope you haven’t been waiting for long to see this guy playing. You barely paid any attention to him, heh.”

For a second, a glorious second, Domino didn’t have the slightest idea what the wolf was talking about.

And then he sort of knew. But it made no difference.
