He didn’t want to spend time searching for something that might not even show up in a search due to being so recent.
Corbin saw the iguana again at the park the following week. The iguana looked the same as last time, except possibly the clothes might have been different. Corbin didn’t have a photographic memory of the clothes due to being so distracted by the long thick tail. Corbin wanted to approach the iguana, but Corbin didn’t know what he would say to the lizard. Would Corbin say something embarrassing? What if Corbin said something that offends the iguana, which could lead to a fight! Corbin didn’t want to be in a pointless brawl. Besides, the iguana’s nails looked sharp and Corbin did not want to get scratched.
Another week went by. Corbin saw the iguana at the park for the third time. Corbin realized this happened too often for the iguana to be somebody cosplaying for a convention. The iguana was also not a one-time character or extra in a tv show, commercial, or movie. Corbin tried to eliminate all the possibilities in his head for why the iguana was dressed that way. Corbin knew he should simply go to the iguana and ask why the iguana is an iguana.
Corbin was sitting on a bench (that’s behind the iguana) when Corbin decided he was going to speak to the iguana. Corbin stood up and walked closer to the iguana.
