Dungeon Master Toy: Session Three

“I’m late… I’m late, I am really, really late!” mutters Silent under her breath as the purple sergal rushes down the street, maneuvering herself through the crowd away from the college campus, till she reaches an alleyway a few blocks away where a simple sign points in that reads “Toys-4-U store, this way.” She takes a deep breath and darts in, “I’m not sure when I’ll get used to that… but I hope soon,” she thinks as she makes it to the store, stepping inside, getting the gleeful greeting of a rubber fuck toy.

“Hello! Welcome to Toys-4-U convenience store, please look around, enjoy yourself and don’t be afraid to ask this one, or any other toy for assistance.”

“Hey J-3531,” she says, as her heterochromia eyes of pink and green read over the toy’s tag. The sleek hot pink and black rubber vixen toy is a sight to behold, “I’m sorry I am running a bit late, did they start without me?” she asks, brushing off the awkward feeling, “I’ll just head in the back if that’s okay?”

The human cashier nearby snickers, “Yeah, it's fine. I was told to expect you.”

She blushes a bit, rubbing the back of her head, “Ah, thanks,” she replies, slipping into the backroom where things have been moved around and set up for the tabletop game.

There’s K-2003, a sleek black and cyan rubber fuck toy, with its iconic cyan fancy cursive lettering on its cuffs that reads Fuck Toy, silver tag that reads its designation K-2003. It sits at the head of the table with a dungeon Master screen. A model boat with a bunch of figurines, and three other rubber fuck toys at the table leaving just one seat left unfilled, “Hey toy, I-toy, M-toy, and other K-toy. Sorry I’m late, I was held up by a group project.” I-toy is a silver and black female rubber shark toy with a dangerous looking spiked collar around its neck, with a black and blue female sergal beside it. The other, K toy is a silver and hot pink sergal toy that has a slightly unamused look on its face.

K-2003 giggles squeaks, wiggling its butt in the chair, “That is alright. We haven’t started yet, and it amuses this one you’re greeting was so much like last week.”

“Like last week?” she asks, tilting her head as she sits down.

“Yup!”

“And you waited for me? You didn’t have to,” she says, pulling out her character sheet.

“But we have to. Toys can’t simply play with themselves, you are the only user at the table, therefore we can’t play without you,” it says with an affirmative nod.

K-2493 rests its head on its hand with a loud squeak, gently drumming the side of its cheek, “This one told Toy Mistress that we could. But would it listen to this one? Nope.”

Silent’s ears lower, “I’m sorry about that. I sent you a text K-2003 to let you know you could.”

“This one got it,” the black and cyan sergal toy replies with an affirmative nod.

“Then why didn’t you?”

It tilts its head, “It thought it explained why already.”

She sighs, “What in the world is anyone going to do with you toy.”

K-2493 smirks, “This one thinks the same thing.”

I-toy stretches with a loud squeak, showing off its breasts, “All this one cares about that it gets to smash something.” It gives off a big toothy fiendish grin.

K-2003 wiggles rump, “All good toys love to smash, and we’ll have a smashing good time here today! Lets get our math rocks on!” it states with a pleasant smile.

M-toy remarks, “Uh, Toy Mistress, are you sure you aren’t getting the right definitions of smash?”

I-toy elbows M-toy.

“Ow, that hurt,” M-toy says, rubbing its side with a loud squeak.

I-toy chuckles, “It didn’t and you know it.”

“Well this one thinks it did.”

K-2003 clears its throat, “Before we begin, did everyone level to level three?” it ask as it gets a confirmation from everyone, “Wonderful, all four of you are now the threesome fearsome in level.”

Silent blushes a bit, “Just let it slide… it's not worth it,” she thinks as she looks over her character sheet.

“Now, you have your new goblin crew members that you convinced to stay with you on the cursed vessel of the White Pearl Necklace. What do you all want to do now?”

I-toy remarks, “Weak goblins…” but when asked what ot do next she grins, as her character exclaims, “I say as one of the captains of the ship that we go raiding, pillaging. We are immortal. We can amass a vast wealth and we can use that money to buy a cure.”

M-toy with their character Marquis comments, “This o-- I don’t think that will matter at all Ivy.”

The barbarian shark turns to the red dragonborn in a black cloak, slamming her killing anchor to the ground making the wood creak, “And why is that?” she huffs.

“One, we aren’t immortal. We killed the previous captain and there were more before them, isn’t that right Violeta?” he asks, looking at the black scaled first mate kobold for back up.

The kobold nods, “Aye, yes. That is true, we’ve had many captains, and many different crew members. We stop aging, but it doesn’t stop us from dying,” she explains.

Ivy remarks, “Good.”

The party responds, “Good?!”

“Life is no fun without risk of death!” she cackles.

“There is something wrong with you,” remarks Marquis.

I-toy elbows M-toy.

“Hey! That was this one’s character saying it, not itself!”

I-toy remarks, “It was this one’s character elbowing Marquis, not toy.”

M-toy looks to K-2003, “Toy Mistress…”

K-2003 leans forward with glee, “Oh, such immersion! This one loves it, please continue. It wants to know what you all intend to do next.”

Ivy slams her anchor on the deck of the ship, “Pillaging, squeaking, taking what is rightfully ours as the sea is a tough Mistress and we’ll make her bend to our will through ropes and tough seamen and so much more. That is what I think we should do.”

Pyslan the purple gem dragonborn twirls a dagger in his claws showing off just how dextrous he is, “I think we should…”

K-2003 interrupts, “Make a dexterity check.”

K-2493 cocks its head to the side, “Why?”

“To see how dextrous you are with the dagger as you talk.”

“But toy is a rogue, it should be able to do it just fine.”

“The DC is low for you. But it's fun to see what happens.”

The toy rolls and stares at the number, “Of course… toy got a two.”

M-toy remarks, “Yes, this one isn’t the only one!” it cackles.

K-2003 giggle squeaks, “As you spin the dagger through your dragonborn claws, looking rather nice, your fingers get caught and the dagger slips from your claws. Marquis, make a reflex save.”

M-toy comments, “But why…”

K-2493 snickers.

M-toy rolls and lowers its head, “Nat one.”

“You take…” K-2003 rolls the dice, “Two points of piercing damage as the dagger lands blade end into your foot.”

“God damn it!” exclaims Marquis, “Watch how you spin those things.”

Pyslan snickers, “Sorry, it just slipped.”

Rave cackles, “I don’t know about all of you but I found it hilarious! Caw haw!”

The gem dragonborn clears his through, “Now, what I was saying before I was interrupted by the Gods,” he says, pulling the blade from Marquis’ foot, “I think we should try to find a way to remove the curse. The ship has all the gold one could ever want. The reward of dozen of lifetimes worth of thieving and stealing is right there, and what’s the point of having all that wealth that we couldn’t even spend in our lifetime if we can’t enjoy it?”

Marquis nods, “I agree, a life without any pleasure or delights, without feeling is not a life worth living.”

I-toy huffs as Ivy says, “We still have the thrill and risk of being our last day as we go onto adventure.”

Silent thinks, “These toys really give it their all… I still feel a bit intimidated.”

“Lady Isabel Fortempt, what do you make of all this? You have been rather quiet,” says K-2003, the toy leaning forward as its breasts are pushed up to touch the dungeon Master screen.

Silent’s ears perk as she sits up straight, as Lady Isabel Fortempt replies, “I was thinking, and we should focus on lifting the curse. That in itself will be an adventure. Full of risks and dangerous that we could hardly fathom. What is the nature of this curse? If this ship has been around for so long there has to be historical records about it. Perhaps we should start with some research.”

Ivy grumps, “Books are for wimps!”

Silent looks to K-2003, “Toy… ah, GM. What would I have to roll to determine a good place to look up the history of curses, in particular this ship? Or do I recall anything about this cursed vessel?”

K-2003 wiggles its rump with a squeak, “An excellent question! This one would like all of you to make a knowledge history check.”

Silent, “Seventeen.”

M-toy, “Twelve.”

K-2493, “Fifteen.”

I-toy, “Negative two.”

The other three look at the shark toy, “Negative two?!”

M-toy chuckles, “Ha! Dumb as a bag of rocks!” Suddenly the sergal toy’s chair tips over and it flunks onto the ground with a squeak. “Ahhh!”

I-toy gasps in fake shock, “Oh no. How could that have happened? Careful, this one thinks you may have forgotten how to sit correctly in a chair.”

K-toy looks over to the fallen toy, “Did you forget how to sit in a chair? That would be a problem if that’s the case.”

M-toy looks up at I-toy, catching its gaze then looking over at K-2003, “This one just slipped, that’s all.”

I-toy smirks.

“Oh, take it easy, those chairs can break,” says K-2003 with an affirmative nod.

“What about this one?” it asks, sitting back up.

“We toys are hearty, we can take a lot of ups and downs, and falls. It knows you are just spiffy.”

Silent looks at he toy curiously, “What in the world.”

M-toy brushes itself off with a squeak, “Toy Mistress, it thinks you are using your words off again.”

“How? This one is very much turned on when it uses its words,” it says with an affirmative nod.

K-2493 interjects, “So, the results of our rolls?”

“Right, right,” says K-2003 getting back into the game, “Pyslan and Isabel, you both have heard rumors of this cursed ship. It has been used to explain many ships disappearances over the seven seas though most contribute it to being just other pirates, misfortune of the seas or ghost ships. You both think the great harbor city Chastity. Where vast amounts of knowledge are kept under lock and key. And due to its strategic location its full of a lot of seamen waiting to be released into the grand open ocean.”

The sergal toy shifts to M-toy, “You’ve heard of the cursed vessel, though where to find such knowledge on it does escape you at the moment. And Ivy? You don’t even believe there is such things as curses or a repository of knowledge of such things. Those are all lies, those flimsy things with symbols inside? Nothing but a distraction!”

I-toy grunts, “Why waste our time on such frivolous things. This is a sea curse if it is such a thing, and the only way to break it is on the sea! Not in some place that doesn’t exist,” she states confidently, her chest puffed out in the game and real life.

Silent blushes, “It’s a place to look. Do I happen to know where the city of Chastity is located?”

“In the Nether islands to the south of here, past the torrent belly button. A dangerous place where the seas are harsh and the people harsher.”

Silent smirks, “Let me guess… to the north of here is the great bosom of the world?”

“Oh yes, it's a great fertile land with bountiful harvests, full of milk and honey… Hey, how did you know that? Have you been reading toy’s notes?” K-2003 asks, looking at Silent with scrutiny.

“Call it a lucky guess. I promise you toy I haven’t been looking at your notes.”

“Okay!” K-2003’s scrutiny turns to glee, “This one will have to be extra good on creating new things, but it won’t change something just because you guessed it. It wants to reward those who are clever,” it says with an affirmative nod.

The silver and pink sergal toy remarks, “This one doesn’t think that will be too difficult with you Toy Mistress,” it gives a sly smirk, shifting back into character, “I like the idea of going to Chastity. We are rather locked to a life of no pleasure till we find the key to free us from the curse…” Pyslan says as the player hangs its head, “Oh… toy sees what you did there.”

Isabel sighs softly, “It’s settled then. We’ll head off to Chastity.”

The crew exclaims in their enthralled state, “To CHASTITY!”

Isabel facepalms, “Dear lord. If we make it through this, I swear I will do something… not sure what. But it will be something,” she says, looking up at the crow’s nest, where Rave has taken nest at the top.

“Ha caw! I am up here looking down at you all!” exclaims Rave.

Marquis looks up, “Rave! Get down here and back on my shoulder like a good undead familiar minion!”

“No!”

“Why?”

“I like the view and you have no more crackers!”

“You don’t even… we’ll get you crackers as soon as we can…” he turns to the kobold, “Do we have crackers on board?”

She shakes her head, “We do not.”

“God damn it! We’ll need to get some crackers on board this ship. I can’t have my familiar getting uppity on me.”

“Haw caw!”

Pyslan raises an eye ridge, “Wasn’t Caw haw earlier?”

Rave yells from his high perched position, “I laugh however I want, Caw Haw!”

“Right…”

Isabel shakes her head, and mutters, “We’re doomed,” she turns to the first mate, “Do you know how to get to Chastity?”

Violeta nods, “I am very familiar with Chastity.”

“I…” she blushes, “Right, plot the safest route there.”

Ivy grunts, “Safest? Hogwash! We need to take the most dangerous route! To test our mettle and build up our strength!”

Marquis nods, “I say one that gives us a bit of experience will be good for us. We can always get stronger.”

Pyslan, “Perhaps not the most dangerous route but one that we could build a name for ourselves? If we do some good maybe we can find allies to help us out?”

Ivy grunts, “What you want us to be good pirates? Who ever heard of a good pirate, I haven’t!”

“We could be privateers.”

K-2003 giggles, “Oh what a lovely idea.”

Everyone eyes the toy Mistress, ignoring what it is clearly thinking and continues, with Pyslan saying, “We’d be people who hunt pirates. Instead of simple and easy, rather weak merchant ships. We’d hunt dangerous and strong enemies that be worth of someone with your strength Ivy.”

Ivy puts her anchor down for a moment, mulling over the idea, “Yeah… I do like that idea. We are pirate hunters. We’ll let them take all the booty, get the rap and then we’ll take al their treasure for ourselves while being declared heroes in the process!” she declares with a devious cackle.

Marquis looks at her with concern, “Ahh…”

The tiefling nods to the idea, “That’s not a bad idea. Pirates who hunt other pirates. Real pirate hunters, swords for higher.”

“Excuse me, I use an anchor,” states Ivy, showing off her oversized anchor.

She clears her throat, “Anchors for hire.”

“Better,” Ivy nods.

M-toy remarks, “You’re really good at being a dumb barbarian I-toy.”

The shark toy responds with a hard elbow in the side, almost knocking the toy over, “Thank you.”

“Ack! What was that for?”

“Appreciation,” I-toy says with a grin.

“Toy Mistress, you can’t have it do that to this one, can you?”

K-2003 sighs happily, “It’s so great to see paired toys really complement each other and get into the spirit of the game.

M-toy hangs its head, “Why does this one even try…”

“This one thinks you are doing a wonderful job. Now that you have gotten your heading, this one wants one of you to roll a dice and tell this one what you get.”

Silent inquires, “Any of us?”

“Just one, it has a nice handy dandy chart to see what’s going to happen on your voyage as you travel the high seas, battling the motions of the ocean as you leave a white misty trail in your wake, cutting through this harsh world.”

“This one thinks we should let the user roll. The one that has the true power over us toys,” suggested K-2493, looking over at Silent, giving her a playful wink,

Silent blushes a bit, averting her gaze, “I wouldn’t say that, but I can roll this time and we can go round robin for any future rolls? That way we keep it fair. As players no one is above anyone else in this.”

K-2003 nods, “This one couldn’t agree more. We are here to give our user pleasure, but there is little of it if the players aren’t on a level fair playing field. We are all here to have fun with Silent,” the toy says, as it leans closer with a loud squeak, “Now roll your fate.”

Silent blushes a bit, “No pressure huh?” she replies, rolling the dice, “Three.”

“Three?” it leans back looking over at its notes, “Oh, how very interesting, this should be fun,” the toy says with a devious grin, “Can you roll a six-sided die for it?”

“Ah, sure,” she replies, “Three again.”

“Double three? Oh, this one, that is just very fascinating,” the toy giggles, looking over its notes.

M-toy looks over at Silent, “It knew we shouldn’t have let the user roll!”

“Hey, can’t blame me, blame the dice.”

“But you rolled them!”

K-2493 smirks, “Relax, it can be a good thing. Toy Mistress is very good with toying with people.”

K-2003 gasps, “What? This one doesn’t turn people into toys. Those are just silly rumors.”

Silent shakes her head, “That’s not what he toy meant… wait there are rumors?”

The sergal toy continues, “So over the next three days you have clear skies, a little overcast. Rather pleasant actually, is there anything any of you would like to do during this time?”

I-toy says, “It’s working out with my killing anchor.”

K-2493 answers, “Pyslan will be trying to study any maps the ship may have, to get a better understanding of the ship’s history. Maps change over time, and seeing what the ship has in its holds will be invaluable.”

K-2003 eyes glow, “Oh, how interesting, roll an investigation check.”

“A dirty twenty.”

“You find a lot of maps, which will engross you for some time. We’ll have you roll at the end of a week to see what you make of all the maps you have. And there are a lot of maps to peruse within the ship. One can say it will really be a good guide for you.”

M-toy ponders for a moment, “Toy would like to see if there are any books, magical ones that would better enhance my necromantic powers through the better understanding of the pact I have with my patron.”

“Oh, that is going to be tricky, that is going to require two rolls. First, roll this one an investigation check to see how well you search through the ship to be able to find such a book on this cursed vessel.”

“Alright a natural twenty! Suck it all! Suck it Maker, this one got the big two o!”

K-2003 grins, “Now, high or low?”

“High.”

“Roll this one a d one hundred.”

“A d one hundred what for?”

“The odds of something so rare to be found on the ship.”

“Alright…” the toy grabs a giant hundred sided die and rolls it… “What?! These dice are rigged! Twelve,” it says with a huff, crossing its arms with a squeak.

“Searching through the ship, you do a thorough search of the ship, and find books about necromancy, but nothing substantial that would be of any use to you. Though you do locate a battered book about pacts with other entities but its really beat up. It will take a lot of time to go through it to gleen anything out of it. Though question, what languages do you speak?”

“Draconic, common, elven.”

“It’s in a language you do not know. Which will really slow you down till you can find a way to translate.”

Silent speaks up, “Perhaps I can help?”

“That depends on a few things, one what are you doing during this time?”

“I think I’ll be with the first mate, learning the ins and out of captaining a ship. My character has never done anything like that before, but coming from a place of some nobility, she understands the responsibility that entails and she wants to be ready for how that goes.”

“Alright, roll an intelligence check to see how well you pick up on it. And M-toy, does Marquis show anyone else the books he found?”

M-toy responds, “Not right away.”

Silent notes, “I rolled a sixteen.”

K-2003 nods, “Well Isabel, you won’t know about the books to help with any kind of translation, which isn’t a big deal as you are spending a lot of time learning how to captain the ship, and to the first mate’s genuine surprise you are picking it up fairly well.”

“Wonderful. It looks like smooth sailing from here on out.”

M-toy and K-2493 both give Silent a look.

“What?”

“Why did you say that,” remarks K-2493.

“You’ve cursed us!”

K-2003 giggles, “Actually you are already cursed, in case you have forgotten.”

“Sheesh, how could we forget, toy Mistress,” says K-2493.

M-toy shakes head, “This one hasn’t Toy Mistress. It was referring to out of game.”

“That’s silly, Silent can’t curse…” the toy gasps, “Can you?”

Silent smirks, “Well I can swear, but I don’t think you mean that kind of cursing.”

“Hmm… this one will have to be careful if you can curse us, this one doesn’t want to be cursed. It needs to do well in school,” it says with an affirmative nod.

Silent sighs and thinks, “Of which I am still trying to figure out how that works.”

K-2003 clears its throat with a squeak. It leans forward, breasts squeezed together, “Now… as those words roll off your tongue Lady Isabel, Rave yells out from the crow’s nest…”

“Dark clouds ahead! It looks like a storm is coming!”

Marquis groans, “God damn it!”

“The sky quickly begins to darken, lightning cracks over the horizon as a rather powerful storm seems to be quickly approaching your ship, which lurches forward as the increased wind catches the sales. What do you all do?”

Silent says, “I’m going to see if there is any way to avoid the storm.”

“Make a nature check.”

“Damn it, six.”

“It doesn’t appear you can see anyway to navigate the ship away from the storm.

“Dang, I’ll try to take the helm and see what I can do as I yell…”

Isabela exclaims, “We have a storm coming guys! We better do what we can to keep this ship afloat. It may be a cursed ship, but I don’t want to test if it's unsinkable or not!”

Ivy comes cackles, rushing toward the bow of the ship, slamming her anchor down, “The great challenges of the sea! How I will relish in defeating this mighty Mistress and show her who the real boss is! Forward toward victory!”

M-toy winces, “This one is suddenly scared.”

K-2003 grins, “You should be as the ship’s hull groans as waves smash against the sides, the storm will be upon you very soon.”

Marquis after securing the books he found will get up deck, using my connection with Rave to see through his eyes to better understand the storm’s nature and how to best navigate through it.

“Oh, what a clever idea. Please roll a perception and then a nature check.”

“Sixteen on perception, twelve on nature.”

“Seeing through Rave’s eyes, you think you might be able to help whoever is captaining the ship to navigate through some of the storm’s deadlier waves, as long as you stay near them during this challenge.”

“This one will do that.”

Isabel will remark, “Finally that skeleton bird is being useful for something!”

“You don’t have to tell me twice!” yells Marquis.

Pyslan rubs his chin, “I want to use my dexterous skills to try to help with the rigging, tying ropes down as they need to, try to make navigating the storm a bit easier.”

“Roll a dexterity check.”

“Gah, a six, and I have such good dex too.”

“As the rain hits across your body, your hands become slippery and it's difficult for you to tie any knots. At the moment you aren’t being much help, but there’s enough work going on initially that as the storm gets worse, you'll be able to keep the ship from rolling over.”

Silent sighs, “That’s a relief.”

K-2003 grinds, wiggling its rump, “But it was just the beginning of the storm. It starts to get even stronger, the masts of the ship creak and groan under the gale force winds. Water crashes over the deck, I want everyone to either make a strength check or a dexterity check if you can come up with a creative reason as to why you can dodge the waves crashing across the ship.”

I-toy declares, “Ivy will drop her anchor down and hold onto it with her mighty strength, laughing manically at the waves yelling…”

“Is this all you got! You won’t take anything more from me!”

Silent says, “I’m going to wrap my arm around the steering wheel and hold on for my dear life.”

M-toy thinks for a moment, then says, “This one will hold onto the steering wheel too.”

K-2003 says, “Make a perception check.”

“But why?”

“Because you are currently looking through Rave’s eyes and you are blind to the world around you. It wants to see if Rave sees the waves coming.”

“Gawd damn it! A seven.”

“Ohh, that will change your DC. And what about your Pyslan?”

K-2439 declares, “I jump over the waves.”

“That will be a difficult DC but alright. Everyone make your rolls.”

I-toy, “Alright! A twenty-two.”

K-2439 smirked, “This one up you, twenty-three.”

Silent tensed, “I got a twelve.”

“Gawd damn it!” exclaimed M-toy, “Eight. The dice hate this one today.”

K-2003 nods and says, “So… here’s what happens…”

Pyslan leaps over the waves, grabbing onto ropes with deft ease to avoid the crashing waves while Ivy takes it head on, with nary a care in the world, with gear fierceness in her face, while Isabel’s arms are strained but just manages to hold on thanks to the steering wheel as she sees Marquis be swept up by the waves.”

“I want to reach out for Marquis!”

“Roll a dexterity check.”

“Twelve.”

Isabel reaches for Marquis, blinded and unsure what’s going on, suddenly feels a hand grab him from behind. The red scaled dragonborn comes out of his magic vision to see that Lady Isabel Fortempt holding tightly onto the scruff of his collar, and together they manage to keep themselves safe.

Silent sighs, “That was close.”

M-toy remarks, “Very close.”

K-toy comments, “Squeaky close.”

Everyone at the table eyes the toy, while K-2493 eats some snacks with a loud crunch, “Hmm good snacks,” it comments.

Silent says, “I’ll take a bag and something to drink.”

“Here you go.”

“Thanks,” she replies.

The sergal toy dungeon Master wiggles its rump, “You’re not out of the storm yet. The masts are creaking and looks like some might break under the strain.”

Pyslan calls out, “Ivy! I need your strength to get the sails pulled up. If we don’t furl the sails we could be sunk.”

Ivy smirks, rushing over the ship, grabbing some rigging, pulling on the rigging.

“Strength check,” says K-2003.

“Twelve.”

The ropes slip through your hands making it difficult to pull but you are making some progress.

“Pyslan is going to go up the rigging and try to work on it from above,” explains K-2493.

“Acrobatics check,” the black and cyan sergal toy ask.

“Eighteen. Alright, rolling really well today.”

Pyslan deftly moves up the rigging, its like home to the purple gem dragonborn as helps pull the sails up with Ivy’s help there is little other trouble while Isabell still commands the wheel, helping guide the ship through the rest of the storm over the next hour, the ship suffering some damage but nothing too significant.

“You all take one point of exhaustion from the storm,” says K-2003 as there is a round of complaints from the party, “This one thought you did very well. The ship only took some HP damage, way less than what it could have. And all the sails are still intact which means you’ll be sailing at normal pace. Good job all.”

Isabel sighs as she finds the first mate, “Tell me, can this ship be sunk?”

The kobold looks around nervously, “Possibly?”

“What do you mean?”

“We try to avoid trying to get the ship sunk, but damage is only repaired from the wrecks of other vessels. So, if we suffer major damage it’ll stay till, we find a way to feed the ship as it were. There was one time, half the crew was on bilge duty to keep the ship afloat for three weeks. And as the ship got lower and lower in the water, we all had this sinking feeling that it could be the end of us all.”

“So, if the ship is sunk so are we.”

“That’s what we think.”

“Oh boy, that will make things even more complicated.”

“Part of the ship.”

The crew exclaims, “Part of the crew!”

Violeta looks over at the crew nervously “Our fates are tied to the ship as it were.”

Isabel sighs, “That is what I was afraid of,” she remarks, relaying this information to the party.

Pyslan nods along, “I figured as much. It wouldn’t be so easy as to destroy the ship, to lift the curse. But now to figure where are we?”

K-2003 says, “Roll a survival or nature check.”

“Toy’s survival is better than its nature… thirteen. Not too bad.”

Pyslan looks over the maps, “I think we are about a week or two away from reaching the first stage of our journey, the tormentors waters and peoples of the belly button torrents! Also known as the Torrential Tidals.”

K-2003 tilts its head, “It didn’t name it that…”

K-2493 remarks, “It’s what the locals call it. Basically, everyone calls it that except nerdy folk who want to correct everyone on it, with the ‘like actually it’s really called…’ if you catch this one’s drift.”

K-2003 nods, “Toy doesn’t think anything is drifting but it can understand that. Well now you have to prepare for the next leg of your journey and try to make a good name for yourselves, create allies to help you trying to lift the curse before it's too late.”

Silent asks, “Too late?”

“You know before something bad happens, of course,” it says with a smile.

“Toy…”

“Yes?”

She shakes her head, “Never mind, let’s continue playing. I rather keep the mystery like that and learn it naturally,” she says with a grin.
