Power Rangers Neo
Chapter 3
(All Tied Up)
Made possible by my generous Patrons.
Dust hung in the air of the old loft, glittering in the sunshine as if time itself had stopped. It may as well have. Kenji lay on the wood floor of the upper level, his almond brown eyes closed, his cheeks streaked with the salt of dried tears. The loft, like many other places in Oak Valley, were constant reminders to what he'd lost. Like Icarus, he'd soared high in the sky only to come crashing down to despair. His guitar sat at home unplayed, his car covered in the pollen dust of the countless different types of trees that filled the Valley. All Kenji knew was that his friends were gone and he just didn't have it in him anymore.
Kenji didn't even move, knowing that his long flowing hair was wound around his shoulders and arm like a blanket and it would tug and pull if he tried. He had surrendered to the painful bliss of nostalgia and memory, thinking back to when he and four of his friends had been recruited as teenagers with attitude, poised to put that energy to use fighting back against a constant onslaught of monsters and aliens and creatures that defied description - and it had been constant.
Max had fallen first, followed shortly after by their leader Kiero. TK had bowed out when the team of Power Rangers seemed directionless. He had remained with Rowan and Cole and, for a time, they'd held back the tide. If anything, it had felt like they had made it through the worst and were mopping up the final dregs… but then after months of success, Rowan had disappeared, then Cole. Worse, Cole had disappeared after getting sick from the pollution that had been loosed on Oak Valley. No effort by any force, terrestrial or otherwise, had been able to find any trace. All Kenji knew for sure was that he hadn't used Theta's teleportation grid, but any other form of teleportation wouldn't have left a trace.
So where did one begin when there were no clues to follow? Kenji's dark eyebrow rose behind light lavender colored hair as a thought occurred to him. Maybe he couldn't follow after Cole, even with Theta's help, but what about the rest of them? Why had Kierro had to sacrifice himself? Why had TK abandoned them? Where had Rowan gone? Why were they starting to see repeats of monsters they had faced in their earliest days as Rangers together? Why-
The communicator sitting on the top step of the ladder chirped far too cheerfully for the situation. Kenji winced a little. He'd silenced it for as long as it allowed, but Theta was notoriously persistent given his mechanical construction. Kenji took a long breath and sat up, swinging his legs over the edge of the loft as he reached to pick up the communicator. Pressing the side to activate it, he took one more long breath to steel himself.
“What is it, Theta?" Kenji asked.
“There you are, ai-yi-yi! I have been trying to reach you for hours!" Theta proclaimed. The corner of Kenji's lip twisted with a mixture of annoyance and affection.
“I'm sorry Theta, but what is it?" Kenji asked.
“Several things, actually… It might be best for you to come to the command center at once, but I know you prefer notes from the edge of a rock face so I will say that the power coins for the Orange and Teal rangers have… manifested back here… They are awaiting new heroes to take up the mantle, and a leader to lead them." Theta said with an uncommon amount of tenderness in his voice. Kenji twitched a little. The idea of replacing his friends and leading their replacements made him feel incredibly old.
“You said several things. What was the rest?" Kenji asked. There was a mild disapproving murmur from Theta over the line but the robot continued a moment later.
“There's a strange energy building at Angel Park library. The reports are unsubstantiated since so few people visit the library, but it could be-" Theta was cut off.
“I'm on my way to investigate. I'll report back. Kenji out." Kenji said before switching off his communicator and returning it to his wrist as he strapped it. Perhaps a new mystery was just what he needed to get his mind off of everything and maybe brace himself to lead some new team with the powers they had been given. After all, ankylosaurs were supposed to have tough shells. Kenji slipped off the edge of the loft, dropping one story to the ground floor of the clubhouse he and his friends had shared in middle and high school. There were tarps over the games and electronics, dust over the rest. He crossed the space, stepped out of the door and into the light.

The Angel Park library was usually a ghost town. The advent of cellphones and the internet had put the sum of all human knowledge into the pocket of every person. Still, the library had remained as a service to the people. It rented out objects people used for everyday life. It gave a place for community events, meetings, and for those on the wrong side of the digital divide to have access to the internet. Even then, it was uncommon for more than one or two people to be using the library at a time. That being said, something was clearly going on…
Kenji stood on the cement path that meandered through Angel Park like a serpent. It had been a path Rowan loved to skateboard down. It had also been the site of countless putty attacks over the years. Now the library and every sculpture and lamp post around it were covered in strange strips of cloth. The cloth seemed old, the color of desert sand. The edges were ragged and torn. They fluttered in an unseasonable breeze, swaying ominously. Kenji looked around to make sure there was no one that could see him in any direction before he retrieved a hexagonal device from the belt buckle hidden beneath his purple shirt.
“It's Morphin' time! Ankylosaurus!" He proclaimed to the universe. The universe responded by pouring energy and power into his body until it overflowed. His body felt the familiar embrace of skin tight stretchy metamaterial that cupped his muscles and joints. A firmer helmet formed around his head, his long hair pulled up into a simple coiled ponytail that kept it out of the way inside. Little horn nubs glistened silver against the otherwise purple helmet, a small beak like extension dipping down into the black visor. The generic silver mouth was frozen in a neutral expression that mirrored exactly how Kenji felt.
As the excess energy ebbed and leaked away, Kenji was left standing there in his purple and white suit. His gloves and boots were pristine, the lines where the white diamonds met the purple fabric absolutely perfectly defined. Kenji pressed forward, pushing back the long strips of cloth that seemed to brush against him, coiling ever so slightly around his wrists, his ankles and his elbows. Making it up the steps and into the library proper, Kenji's eyebrows rose inside his helmet. The interior of the library had been completely transformed.
The concrete and wood walls of the library had been replaced with stone blocks, each intricately carved with hieroglyphics. Long runs of bookshelves were gone, replaced with offers and tributes stacked on pillars, filling vases and interspersed with torches. Welcome placards were now small obelisks. A sudden loud shudder echoed through the space, causing Kenji to spin around. The doors of the library had swung shut behind him and then disappeared entirely. Kenji was trapped. When he spun back forward, he gasped at the sudden presence of a looming form before him.
At a moment's glance, the creature had to be at least seven feet tall. Its silver, canine-like face was framed by a yellow and turquoise striped headdress with lappets running down the creature's muscular chest. Huge angel-like wings stretched out behind his shoulders with silver feathers glistening in the firelight. Aside from a gold waistband and loin cloth and gold coloring to the being's knee caps, the rest of his body was cast in the same silver. A long wrapped goatee hung down from the dog-like muzzle of the creature. What caught Kenji most off guard, however, was the fact that this creature looked so similar to Goldar who had been a general in their first major battles. It was as if he had been cast in the same mold and then given the accessories of a sphinx.
“Ahhhh, a Ranger… Searching for answers in the great library!" The King Sphinx said with mirth in his deep voice.
“The first answer I'm looking for is what it'll take to get you to check out of this library. Remember, you must return it in the same condition you found it." Kenji quipped. The response only made the King Sphinx laugh loudly.
“I will leave when you have solved my riddles! Fail them, and you will pay the ultimate price!!!" The Sphinx exclaimed. Kenji couldn't help but smile a little. He had essentially been the smartest of the Rangers when they had been gathered, and the King Sphinx was so cliched that it was likely to be child's play.
“I thought the Sphinx only had one riddle?" Kenji asked. Again the massive creature broke out laughing.
“I never was, am always to be. No one ever saw me, nor ever will. And yet I am the certainty of all, to live and breathe on this terrestrial ball. What am I?" The Sphinx asked. Kenji's mirth faded a little. The riddle was an answer to his comment.
“The future… You've adapted." Kenji said. The Sphinx raised his hand and the air crackled with energy as a gold staff appeared capped by a turquoise question mark. As he slammed the staff down, the library shifted and reorganized around them. The Sphinx was gone and Kenji was standing at the opening of a long tunnel. More of those strips of cloth hung and swayed in an unseen breeze. Kenji looked to his left and right. While the passages would have led off to the rest of the complex in any physical space, they grew brighter and brighter until they were completely saturated in bright light.
“Probably best not to look for the light at the end of the tunnel this time…" Kenji said softly, taking one more breath. The air was pleasantly cool and dry, lacking the scent of anything other than sand and what was used as fuel for the torches. Kenji started to walk forward, stepping side to side to avoid the strips of cloth hanging from the ceiling like cobwebs made of flax. As Kenji walked, he felt a faint vibration start passing through the stone before the Sphinx's gravely bass voice returned.
“Your first riddle; what walks on four legs in the morning, two legs in the afternoon and three legs in the evening?" The Sphinx's disembodied voice asked. Kenji couldn't help but suppress his smile. That wasn't just the first riddle he was being asked, it was the first riddle he'd ever learned. It was notoriously called the Sphinx's riddle. It had been repeated and iterated in television shows and movies. Kenji's heart swelled a bit.
“Man." Kenji replied with a smile.
“Incorrect." The Sphinx replied. The closest strip of cloth whipped out, coiling around Kenji's right arm. It wrapped and snared, compressing and tightening, winding itself around with a life of its own. Kenji grunted hard, trying to bend or flex or pull his arm back. As the cloth tightened, the purple coloring of his suit drained out, leaving his shoulder looking as if he'd spilled water on a watercolor painting and his arm was unfinished paper. The pressure grew so great that he started to grunt and groan, feeling his biceps and triceps rebel against the pressure by pressing outward, swelling, even bulging beyond their normal limits.
“What do you mean, incorrect?" Kenji hissed, his hand tightening and flexing inside his glove. As the cloth wrapped around his wrist and tied itself off, his fingers felt like they were going to explode as they stretched and grew outward. The fabric did its best to contain his hand, but tiny pinpricks began to poke and cut through the tips of his gloves. As new claws emerged, anchored deep in his fingers. More stitching popped and tore and snapped, pulling away from thick, strong silver digits connected to a wide silver palm.
“The answer to the riddle I posed was… a bear." The Sphinx replied, “It awakes from its slumber in the morning and roams on four legs, stands tall on two legs in the afternoon to claim its food, and then wanders back on three legs while using the fourth to eat." The Sphinx said. Kenji was horrified, not only because the Sphinx was technically correct, but because that meant that any answer might be deemed wrong by this creature even if his answer made sense. As if to punctuate the point, the Sphinx spoke up again, “You only have four more chances…"
“As long as you play fair, I'll make it through this." Kenji said. He looked down at his right arm again, seeing how much larger and more muscular it was than his left. In fact, it looked like the Sphinx's arm. Was he being turned into a monster like the Sphinx?
“What's next, big guy?" Kenji asked, trying to put on a brave face. Again he felt that vibration passing through his feet.
“I am always hungry, must always feed. What am I? The finger that feeds me will soon be red." The Sphinx intoned. The answer bubbled to the surface, but he hesitated this time. Fire always needed fuel and was vital to nearly every civilization that had existed. Fire was as much feared as it was revered, though, and the warning in the riddle about being burned was implicit. Kenji knew he could overthink it, but what was the point? He could only do his best and hope the first answer was a one off.
“Fire." Kenji replied.
“Incorrect!" The Sphinx called out. Another cloth whipped out of the wall, slinking and coiling around his left arm and shoulder, stretching out to latch onto the right shoulder. Kenji doubled forward, calling out in pain and discomfort, though a strange surge of power was building up from his core. He panted and gasped as his left arm grew and stretched, tearing his Ranger suit apart. Glistening bulbs of silver muscle broke out of the tight material, followed shortly after by another huge silver paw tipped with short claws.
“It was fire, you're twisting the riddle!" Kenji howled. He threw his head back, groaning more in pleasure than pain as his chest grew thicker. Blood poured into his pectorals as his muscles swelled and divided. He had already been in peak shape to begin with as a Power Ranger, but this was mutating him far beyond human standard. The eight pack on his stomach became a ten pack. While the suit held to the onslaught, the purple faded from around the white diamond on his chest, leaving his torso silver and white instead. A deep laugh echoed through the tunnel.
“It was a lion! It must always feed, but even the most tamed creatures may still bite the finger that feeds it, leaving it red. I can relate, honestly." The Sphinx laughed again. Kenji straightened himself up, though he felt a bit top heavy. His two huge meaty paws reached his knees and his shoulders were at least a full two feet wider than they had been. He had to be mindful of his center of gravity to keep from falling over. Saying nothing, Kenji pressed on. The Sphinx's laughter shifted to a contemplative musing. “When young, I am sweet in the sun. When middle-aged, I make you gay. When old, I am valued more than ever." The Sphinx called out.
Kenji couldn't even put words to his dread. He'd been the smart one of his friends his whole life. He'd gone to debate meets across the state. He'd done puzzles and crosswords for fun. Now here he was in some sort of bizarre twisted game where the right answers were wrong. He couldn't even begin to guess what the Sphinx might say instead of the right answer. He wasn't sure yet if the Sphinx was just choosing riddles with more than one answer, or if his view was so slanted that it made it hard to guess. Kenji's heart was pounding in his chest, pounding so much harder than it usually did. His heart had grown inside his expanded chest, as had his lungs.
“W… Wine." Kenji murmured. The Sphinx belted out another resounding wave of laughter.
“Incorrect!" The monster bellowed. This time the strip of cloth that came at him shot up from where it had pooled on the ground. It slipped up around his left leg, compressing and tightening. Kenji tried to jump to the side, to break free, but lifting his foot only gave it access to continue down around the arch of his foot and the toes. The flaxen fabric tore where it came out from beneath the stones, but it was already working its magic.
“Ungh!" Kenji roared, hearing his knee pop and snap, followed by crunching noises in his ankles. He fell against the wall of the tunnel, bracing himself. His knee suddenly bulged outward, followed by his calf muscle. New ligaments anchored and connected. The purple fabric quickly drained of color as it stretched tighter and tighter. A sudden tearing noise echoed as silvery flesh burst free, but that was hardly the end of the changes. Kenji's roars grew even more desperate as his boot began to groan under increasing pressure pushing outwards.
“This is my favorite part…" The Sphinx growled, “I'm really sort of a paw guy." he chuckled more to himself than his victim. Kenji hissed beneath the emotionless mask he wore, the helmet one of the few parts of his uniform retaining color.
“What was the answer?!" Kenji asked, his voice forced and strained. Before the Sphinx could respond, a tearing sound came as the front of the boot split out. Five plump, perfect toes slid out across the stone. They remained human - at least for the moment. Without the confines of the boot to hold his foot back, it stretched even more rapidly. The fleshy pad on the ball of his foot grew fatter, wider, longer and thicker. His toes plumped and extended, growing outward. The skin drained of color, frothy silver-white epidermis growing over the top of his toenails, only to have them burst forward as ivory white claws that curved down to the stone floor. His heel broadened, his arch reshaped. Tendons pressed against tight flesh, but his foot continued to grow and grow and grow.
“Romance…" The Sphinx replied at last, sounding as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. “Sweet when young, gay when middle aged, and valuable in old age." he repeated. Yet again, Kenji couldn't deny that also fit the riddle, although he wasn't sure which meaning of the word 'gay' the Sphinx meant. Kenji held his ankle as the last of the pain died away, looking down at a massive foot paw. It was so big, so strong, so… Kenji hesitated, realizing that his ass cheek had swollen on the left as well… and a bulge was forming in the groin of his over-strained uniform. He swallowed and forced himself upright.
“If I answered one of these riddles correctly, would you actually tell me?" Kenji asked.
“Of course, though you have only two more chances… Are you ready?" The Sphinx questioned. Kenji grimaced beneath his mask. Only his right leg, waist and helmet were unchanged. He was hobbling along with two heavy arms and one leg that was longer and stronger than the other.
“As ready as I'm going to be." Kenji said in resignation.
“The more you take, the more you leave behind. What is it?" The Sphinx asked. Kenji kept walking, trying not to drift to one side due to the asymmetric size of his legs. He wasn't even sure why he was playing the monster's game. Maybe it was best to drag it out, to keep the monster's focus on him rather than the library. Most of the monsters they had faced weren't able to focus on two things at once, but that was no guarantee. Perhaps the librarian and any patrons of the library were lost in a similar labyrinth. Kenji wasn't even sure why he was continuing to walk forward down the tunnel since it was likely symbolic. Then it came to him.
“Footsteps… The more you take, the more you leave behind." Kenji said, coming to a stop. There was a long silence. Kenji's larger heart was pounding. The silence seemed to drag on and on until finally the reverberating answer came.
“Incorrect." The Sphinx said darkly. Again the long strips of cloth snapped out, whirling around his right leg before squeezing and confining him, wrapping him up like a mummy. Where it squeezed, his body rebelled by growing and swelling. His right foot felt like it was enduring the worst form of a foot cramp he'd ever experienced, yet somehow in that pain was an odd tinge of pleasure. Every cramp pushed his toes out further, made his heel wider, his arch broader. His toenails disappeared beneath the skin only to emerge as fresh claws. Again those sickening crunches and pops and snaps echoed up through his bones, coming from his swelling knee, his ankle, his hip. His ass twitched as it filled out to match the other side. Kenji's eyes widened suddenly as he gasped, falling forward onto both huge knees.
The fabric stretched over his groin began to expand like a silver water balloon. It rounded and plumped, sagging forward, curving down. The fabric grew so tight that it found the perfect outline to his manhood, squeezing and reshaping it, molding it, stretching it. Veins pulsed against the silver fabric and the thick mushroom shaped head grew to the size of Kenji's fist. As if his dick weren't big enough, it was curved over balls that quickly outpaced the size of avocados. His eyes rolled back into his head, trying not to drool.
While the strips of fabric that had wrapped around his arms and legs had relaxed after transforming his limbs, becoming little more than loose wraps draped over him, the cloth that latched across his shoulders and waist remained tighter, almost like belts. Where the fabric now ran along the belt of his Morpher, there were crackles of energy. A faint chirping came from the Morpher as it tried to fend off this evil energy, but its reserves and its connection to the morphing grid were fading fast.
Kenji knelt there, panting harder, feeling so… aroused. His cock was huge, his balls even bigger. His large ass protected an undulating passage of its own, leading to a swollen prostate begging for release. His nipples were thick, puffy and silver, sticking out from a chest so big it might have belonged to a bodybuilder. What had been the pain of defeat was quickly turning into a shameful pleasure. He hadn't felt that powerful since he'd first become a Power Ranger. Why was this monster giving him such a gift for his loss? What… what happened when he lost the final riddle?
“The more you have of it, the less you see. What is it?" The Sphinx asked, apparently tired of playing with his food. Kenju continued kneeling there, feeling the ragged bottom edges of the sand-colored cloth drifting forward and back across his shoulders in the faint breeze.
“If I lose this next one, you have to give me a consolation prize." Kenji said, watching his pectorals rise and fall with each breath, his nipples looking so succulent. He wriggled his huge toes behind him, the arches of the massive feet kissed with the faintest dust that accentuated the natural folds where his arches met the balls of his feet. There was a soft purr from the Sphinx. He was intrigued at the proposition.
“And what might that consolation prize be?" The Sphinx asked. Kenji's black visor was fogging up before him, the helmet failing to regulate his own body temperature and the humidity of his breath as the power was drained from the suit.
“You tell me what happened to my friends." Kenji said. Again the Sphinx laughed.
“That… would be a very easy prize. Very well, you shall have it… after you answer the final riddle." The Sphinx's voice echoed. “The more you have of it, the less you see. What is it?" he repeated. Kenji continued kneeling there. It was an old riddle too, one that had been shared in spoken word, print and text for eons. Again, Kenji felt he knew the answer, but what did that mean exactly? What did any of it mean? If he won, would he have to fight this monster in hand to hand combat or would he just disappear? Would the next monster sent after them be even more challenging? Would it ever stop? What was the point anymore?
“Darkness…" Kenji muttered, already closing his eyes to accept his fate. This time there was only a moment before the Sphinx spoke.
“Incorrect." He responded. Kenji's body stiffened as the strip of cloth wrapped around his helmet, squeezing and crushing it. He grunted as more strips of cloth snaked around his shoulders, hoisting him back up to his feet, arms outstretched to his sides. There was a terrible groaning that screamed into Kenji's head, then a deafening snap as the helmet suddenly exploded into shards of purple light. One last purple flash came from the power coin as it disappeared from his belt, melting back into the morphing grid or teleporting away.
Every last scrap of Kenji's Ranger suit disappeared, leaving him back in torn up street clothes. His long violet hair hung back across his monstrous shoulders. The cloth that had wrapped around his helmet now slashed across his face like a blindfold. As Kenji was held there, standing atop huge feet that were not his own, he felt energy surging upward, pouring through his neck and skull and face. His skin tingled, the pigment draining from his throat.
A strange prickling sensation came from his chin as thick black stubble broke through the flesh. What started as a few strands soon doubled, quadrupled, and then became even more numerous. The dark hair matched Kenji's eyebrows but contrasted with his violet hair. It pushed out of his chin, emerging centimeter by centimeter, then inch by inch. It was long but strong, pliable and yet fluttered in the breeze. It grew down longer and longer, throbbing as it did. Kenji could feel it more than he could feel his own hair. It felt like an extension of himself, like a source of pride and power - which made it even more shocking when he felt strong, powerful fingers slowly close around the goatee.
“My little prince, you really should take better care of your appearance." The Sphinx growled, his breath hot on Kenji's nose. Kenji said nothing, feeling conflicting emotions surge and crash into one another. His manhood, no longer restrained by spandex, was already lifting away from his body, stretching out before him, throbbing in its strange silver flesh. The Sphinx took great care to start braiding Kenji's goatee into a plait, using some gold twine to zig zag along its length, curving the very tip forward into a crook before he tied the thread back up.
“Wh…" Kenji tried to speak but he couldn't manage it.
“So handsome, but I think I can help bring out your masculine side." The Sphinx said before he leaned in, tilting his head. Kenji felt the embrace of a lionine muzzle lined with fangs. He felt leathery lips, a moist dog-like nose, and a powerful sandpaper tongue. It was rough and callous against his, and he loved it. Kenji began raking his tongue across that gritty surface, feeling his own tongue swell and bloat in his mouth. As he drank in the Sphinx's saliva, his teeth began to feel hot and numb, stretching into points. As the fangs filled his mouth, he felt his reservations rapidly melting away.
Energy both new and ancient coursed through the kiss into Kenji's body. Every moment they kissed encouraged the former Purple Ranger's mouth to push forward into a short muzzle. His nose tilted up, bearing the nostrils as the flesh turned to tough leather. His jaw creaked and popped as it pushed forward. Kenji tilted his head to the other side, letting their muzzles interlock as their meaty tongues wrestled. Silver pigment spilled across his cheeks, his broadening nose, his forehead and circled his eyes. The Sphinx growled happily, using one hand to heft up Kenji's heavy, thick dick and used the other to pinch and claw at his nipples.
Kenji growled and roared, straining until the strips of cloth holding him up snapped. He pressed forward, pinning the King Sphinx to the wall. He continued to kiss him several more times before, acting on instinct, he moved his head and came down to bite him on the shoulder, fangs piercing that tough hide. The King Sphinx howled out in as much pleasure as pain, holding out his hand. The air crackled with electricity as a headdress appeared. He brought it behind Kenji's head and lowered it.
As the headdress settled into place, Kenji had never felt more complete. The lappets rested against his thick pectorals, the gold coloring of the cloth interspersed with stripes of purple. Likewise, Kenji's battered and bloated knees turned purple as well. Kenji didn't care, he grabbed onto the Sphinx, kissing him madly, pawing at his loincloth to push the fabric out of the way. He leaned forward until their thick cocks were squeezed and pressed between their bodies. He began to hump his captor, grinding and frotting with mad passion as they both made lewd noises.
Muffled sounds echoed through Kenji's mutating body as bones, ligaments, sinews and cartilage reformed. Pound after pound of muscle added on, but even his tough skin was growing heavier. He settled into his huge, clawed feet as his massive hands groped and roamed across the King Sphinx's body. The most perverse change, however, came from Kenji's face. As his brow bone swelled to give his brows that sinister arch, his cheeks rounded and his chin came to a point, every bit of humanity shed from him both in body and soul. Kenji felt strength coursing through his veins, a pride for himself and his partner, a certainty that the forces of good could never win. Kenji broke their kiss, his eyes shifting to glassy red orbs.
“I build up castles. I tear down mountains. I make some men blind, I help others to see. What am I?" Kenji asked in a newly rough, gritty voice. The King Sphinx grinned wide.
“A Sphinx!" He said before grabbing Kenji, flipping him to face the wall and pinning him. Kenji roared out as the King Sphinx's fat cock speared between his ass cheeks, sliding in roughly and with warm friction. The Sphinx began to move forward and back, building momentum, thrusting faster and faster. Kenji's clawed paws splayed on the wall as he started to moan and groan, humping against the stone wall, using the pressure of his own body to please himself. Unlike humans, their grunts and groans were unrestrained and animalistic, echoing down the stone corridor.
As the King Sphinx got into his new prize, his large silver wings began to expand and spread behind him. He bore his fangs from his short lionine muzzle, starting to flap the wings slowly. The movement made it easier for him to pull back from the thrusts, allowing his powerful legs to slam in again. As the Sphinx leaned forward, the blue eye tattoo on his sternum pressed against Kenji's back. A flash of light erupted from the point of contact, shimmering outward before fading into sparkles.
Kenji nearly barked out in confusion, although he suddenly gasped as his back began to ripple and shift. The skin stretched and tugged a little as something began to reshape and grow beneath it. The skin of his huge shoulder blades went from silver to white until there was a crackling sound. Wisps of older silver skin turned to dust as newly grown pair of humerus and radius stretched outward, expanding a fleshy membrane that began to bead with waxy keratin. As the beads grew into pinfeathers, then fully fledged feathers, the keratin sheath dissolved away to sand that fell to the floor of the hallway. Kenji's wings grew in rapidly, unfurling behind him up until they were pinned by the King Sphinx's huge arms.
What had already been a rough and tumble love making session boiled over. The creatures writhed and flexed, aware of their power and prestige. Their lionine muzzles snarled, betraying their sharp fangs. Long royal beards hung down from extended chins, lion tails whipped and flicked across muscular ass cheeks, toe claws scraped and scored the stone beneath. Kenju was the first to cross the edge, pressing harder against the wall, tipping his head back to let out a roar as he came.
A few white drops of human seed spurted out from his huge silver monster dick before a far more potent silver seed began to spray and splatter out. As his strong posterior began to flutter and massage the King Sphinx, Kenji's partner reared his head back to join into the roar as well. They both stood there, predators in their den, enjoying the mad rush of primal pleasure coursing through their evil, corrupted minds. Kenji held on for dear life as he felt his belly filled with seed, feeling the searing sizzle of a purple eye tattoo burning itself into his sternum. He had lost the power of the Rangers, but he had gained something far more sinister.
“Now that you've taken your rightful form as a Sphinx, it is time to take your rightful place…" The King Sphinx proclaimed. Kenji's newly reshaped face wrinkled and shifted into an expression of confusion. The King Sphinx tapped one of his large foot paws on the floor of the temple and Kenji recalled what he'd said about being a paw guy. Honestly, looking down at those big, strong, handsome feet? He got it. In fact, how had he ever not gotten it? They were so big, so manly, so succulent, so strong.
There was a flutter of breeze as Kenji dropped forward onto all fours. He leaned down to nuzzle at the foot, feeling the long toes across his cheek before he tilted his head. The split upper lip pulled back, a sandpapery tongue emerging from his short muzzle. As he began to lick and drag along the large, long, silver foot, the King Sphinx shuddered and moaned. He wriggled his toes a little, giving Kenji incentive to keep going. Feeling the contrast of hard and soft, of firm and pliant, Kenji worked his way across the top of the Sphinx's foot, down each toe. He slurped gently at each of them, letting his lips part as he popped one in to suckle, his tongue careful around the claw tip protruding from the end.
It was a credit to their virility at how fast they each regained their erections. There was something primal about the new recruit worshiping the King's feet. Kenji made his way across each toe, savoring the experience before he reached out with one hand and encouraged the King to lift his foot. With more access, he rubbed his cheek and then his tongue across the underside of his partner's sloping arch. The King Sphinx moaned and groaned, feeling waves of pleasure wash over him, but it was more than that. He had done it. He had brought down a Power Ranger. The mighty human was now a Sphinx, ready to be by his side… or under his foot… for the rest of time.

As far as electrical work went, having a command center inside an ancient meteoric geode was far from ideal. Cables and conduits had been pulled out of ducts and entire consoles were throbbing with inconsistent power flow. Theta's chrome-silver pancake shaped head shone with the diffused blue light that radiated out of the geode around the platform while his blue vision sensors shone with a moving beam of light sweeping side to side. There were grease smears on his purple body plating and his turquoise limb tubing stretched beyond the normal limits of human anatomy as he worked on numerous repairs simultaneously.
“Ai-yi-yi…" Theta moaned plaintively, “Power surges, interference, headstrong teenagers with attitude - well, the last one was by design I suppose." Theta complained to no one in particular. He continued to solder, weld and rewire until a few moments later there was a sizzle in the air that was decidedly not electrical. Pulling back from the underside of the table, he looked up to see something resting on the counter that had not been there prior. The burnished, aged gold was nearly bronze in coloring but the edges were still pristine. The thick coin had a border running around the edge, but inside was the head and shoulders of an ankylosaur mid-roar, a club tail swinging behind in the partial view.
Theta slowly rose to his large, clunky feet, the pancake shaped head drooping forward as his turquoise tube arms sagged. For once his trademark words did not rise to his vocorder. There simply were no words. He had been created for a specific purpose and, one by one, he had failed. His creator was gone, as were those that he had been sworn to support. They had all fallen to the forces of evil. Theta regretted the lack of tear ducts to express the true and aching sorrow he felt.
For a long moment, the glowing blue lights on his visual panel went dark. He was not turning himself off, though he certainly felt the logic of doing so. He took a moment to process the loss, to relive the good times, to imagine what might have been before it was time to get back to work. The lights snapped back on, as bright as ever. Moving over to the counter, Theta scooped up the power coin and began walking to where he had placed the others. Aside from the Red Ranger, the rest of the coins had returned to the command center when their heroes had fallen. Clearly the morphing grid wished to carry on and he would do his best to support it by finding new heroes to take on the mantle. After all, all it took was one flicker of light to push back darkness.

The moon had been considered a dead place for so many centuries, and for the last several years the Moon palace had seemed dead as well. It had been absolutely isolating when the Nagai had been wiped out and Max had been left there all alone, but now life had returned… Pumpkin vines stretched and curled along the black stone walls. A heady fog of pollution drifted along the floor, coiling around the feet that walked through it. A crackle of energy added the two sphinxes to the mix, depositing them in the Void Ranger's throne room.
A smile crossed Max's lips, revealing his Nagai fangs while a glitter crossed his serpentine slit eyes. He reached out, running a clawed finger along the chin of his boyfriend Cole, currently in his hybrid polluticorn form. Cole looked up with a sex-drunk smile, although a flicker of recognition started to pass through his face as he looked at the sphinxes. Max stood up and strode across the throne room, looking at them more closely.
“Fantastic! Absolutely fantastic…" Max said, circling around them both, the moonlight glittering in the oil in his dense, black beard, “Rowan, you better get out here to see this!" Max called. The younger Sphinx looked up as a pumpkin headed creature moved out of the back of the palace, his long arms extended into vines, a dribbling, throbbing orange cock hanging from his groin. There were leaves adhered to a muscled orange fleshy chest like a bandolier and his toes were fibrous and stretched out like roots.
Max held out his hand and the air snapped as his staff appeared. He held his staff out toward Rowan and the pumpkin head seemed to shrink and contract, leaving Rowan looking somewhat human again. His hair was still unnaturally orange, his skin with an off-tinge to it. His eyes were dark and his tongue was an unsettling green, but his grin was more natural now. Max all but skipped over, putting one hand around Rowan, bringing him forward until he slung an arm around Kenji with the other.
“Look at us… a team again! We're reunited and it feels so good!" Max exhaled, “I've waited so long for this moment." Max said. Cole smiled sweetly as he hopped off of the throne, coming over on his hooves. He snuggled into Max's chest, trying not to stab anyone with his polluticorn horn. Max closed his eyes, moving his hand from Rowan's shoulder to pet Cole and hold him close. “I knew… I knew if I persevered, we could achieve this…. Defending what was right and good only put us at risk, but now we've taken the reign of power ourselves. Together we will truly be mighty, and the world will bend over before us." Max purred.
“We are inevitable!" Kenji declared in his gruff, dark, heavy lionine voice. Rowan grinned, wrapping long, gangly arms around the back of all of them with a wider span than the rest could achieve. It had been so long since the team had been reunited, but it somehow felt even more delicious that they were the villains now… four bad boys with nothing standing between them and world domination, except perhaps embracing in a far more intimate way. As if sensing the current flowing through them all, Max let out a lewd groan.
“Oh, yes… and we are forever." Max said, leaning down to give Cole another kiss, hoping to ignite the spark that they were all feeling.
