Terror in the Marshes

Finn and Rook are taking a shortcut through the marshes in order to make it to the next town in a timely manner. But hile the two are prepared for any sort of fight sometimes things come in more insidious means. Warning for bizarre themes. Labeled adult due to content, but no sex.

"Ugh, it's so humid out here."

As Rook turned from the campfire he could hear Finn once more complaining, the smaller dragon taking off his jacket and carefully lying on the stack of supplies that they had made once they finally reached land dry enough to set up camp. The two had been traveling though the marshes for over two days to get to the next town, opting to try the much shorter route then the marked travel route in order to head off a merchant cart that they had been chasing down. They thought that perhaps taking the route that everyone explicitly warned against going through might net them enough time to get to the town and prepare an ambush for their target, but as Rook settled in for another night in the insect-infested atmosphere both he and his counterpart were glad that they had scales that would at least protect them from getting eaten up by the local insect wildlife.

But that didn't make the other parts of their adventure any less miserable as Finn took off his pants as well and set them aside to sit only in his breeches and tunic, being mindful of the spines that ran down his back as he did to prevent ruining the garment. Rook had already taken off his armor and set it aside, but kept his leather pants and vest on as well as his sword by his side. The locals they had ran into before venturing into the marshlands warned of an ancient evil that was said to permeate the place, causing those who attempted to bypass the trade road to become lost forever. As they had continued to travel though the red-scaled dragon firmly believed that the only thing that ensnared those who ventured in this place was the thick muddy inlets and sopping marshlands as the fire he had managed to build already started to sputter.

"Why don't you go get some more wood for the night," Rook said to Finn as he watched the other man pace back and forth. "If the map is correct then this will be the last time we have to make camp before we push on to the town on the other side of the marsh lands, and if you go now then it won't be dark by the time you get back so you don't fall into a bog."

"Alright, though I don't know why we need to bother," Finn said as he picked up a small lantern to take with him. "Anything big enough to harm us we can probably hear sloshing their way towards us from a hundred feet away."

"The warmth drives away some of the nastier insects that might be out there," Rook replied while he leaned back on the log he had found to sit on. "Plus as I mentioned before if for some reason we need to move around this place I'd rather have light to guide us then stumble around in the marshes blindly before falling into a sink hole. Plus it will help take your mind off the heat."

Finn just rolled his eyes before heading out into the marshes, using the sun that was still streaming overhead through the canopy of leaves to guide him around the wetter parts of the area. Rook had been right that he needed to get out there quick as the shadows of the trees were already starting to grow long and navigation by lantern light would be far more treacherous then with the sun overhead. He quickly lost the light of the campfire and soon couldn't even see their small encampment as he picked up sticks that were dry enough to catch fire, which weren't many. As he managed to get a handful and thought about heading back however there was something just beyond a small mossy hill that had caught his attention.

It was a small hut, one that as he approached it looked to be in complete disrepair. With no one living inside it had become a hive for insect life to live in and Finn had no compulsion to evict them from their homes just to have a tattered roof over their head for one night. What shocked him more was that anyone even tried to live out here, especially since the wood didn't look ancient like other ruins that he and Rook had come across. He gave the structure a walk around to see if there was anything of value that might have been left behind and when he didn't see anything merely shrugged his shoulders at the curiosity and prepared to head back. Before he could even take a step though the dragon saw something in front of him that caused his arms to drop the pile of wood that he had been holding onto all this time and reach for his weapon.

The entity that had somehow snuck on him was only vaguely humanoid in nature, its body bigger than his with blank insectile features. Even with the light fading from above the rays of sun that his this creature revealed that the white skin wasn't actually skin, it appeared to be made completely of larvae that were somehow able to form itself into something inhuman in nature. The very sight of it had caused Finn to pause in shock at the revelation, and that was all it needed as the thick tentacles that were its arms reached out to him. When it charged towards him the dragon had little time to do anything more then unsheathe his sword and raise a cry of alarm, but as he was knocked backwards by the surprisingly powerful creature his weapon was dropped and clattered to the side of him.

The larval creature wasted no time in pushing on top of him and as the dragon continued to struggle he tried to call out for help again, only to have the tentacles which initially wrapped around him shove themselves into his muzzle and face. His entire body convulsed as he could feel the larvae and goo engulf him, its strength keeping him pinned to the ground as they took advantage of the loose clothing that he wore to spread over every inch of his scaly body. He could feel them crawling in everywhere and the more Finn attempted to get them out the more he felt pushing inside of him as they crawled in through every opening his body had.

At first Finn thought that he would be eaten, that Rook would eventually come looking for him and only find his skeleton and other remains on the ground outside of the hut, but as the larvae continued to envelop him there was something else happening to his body. the horror he felt from initially being covered by the wiggling mass began to abate, his body slowing in his thrashing about as something was happening not only to his scales but the muscles underneath. As the parasitic creature quickly pushed their way into his brain as well as the rest of his body the fear and trepidation he was having was causing the dragon to quickly calm down, to the point where he was hardly moving as the bizarre creature could be felt worming their way inside and somehow fusing to his flesh.

Though it was a bit of a struggle Finn managed to get on all-fours, though as he let out a loud, wet hurk from his throat the creature that was inside the mass of wiggling goo and larvae was starting to change. The next time his body twitched and convulsed it was in pleasure, his brain shifting from being repulsed by these things crawling over him to wanting more as he coughed up a torrent of goo and larvae that squirmed about on the ground. Though with more of them pushing inside his body every second the ones that had completely coated his scales only seemed to be growing more, the dragon's convulsions coming from his muscles as something was happening to them while he sat on his knees. As he leaned back to reveal his bloated stomach the corrupting larvae caused his spine to pop and stretch, Finn's cries turning from shock and anguish to desire as they fed him more pleasure while also having him desire this newfound strength.

Once more Finn fell back down on all fours when the sensations overwhelmed him, catching himself as the squirming of the larvae that had engulfed his body was now becoming it. Thick strands of goo dripped not only from his mouth but also the rest of his body as he was converted, muscles still stretching and swelling as every inch of him was assimilated by these creatures for one singular purpose. Spread... infest... it was the only thing that was filling Finn's thoughts as he let out another wet bellow that allowed him to hear his voice dropping from his transformation. These larvae needed a host... he was the one that would take care of them, spread them to others, and even as he continued to feel his frame bulking out there was one image that was manifesting in his mind from the larvae that infested it.

The thought processes of the dragon were quickly warped, his desires being pushed to what the larvae wanted as they continued to infest and spread over his body. It had grown impossible for him to know where the goo and larve ended and his body to start, and the more he felt them squirming inside the more his body was starting to swell out. Somehow this creature, or these amalagmation of creatures, were causing every aspect of his physique to stretch and grow. There was a spasm of pure desire that came from the dragon's corrupted mind as the last of the creature had been pumping into his throat, though the rest of his orifices weren't spared entry to get as much inside him at once as possible.

The clothing that Finn had worn was growing tight against his increasingly spongy flesh, the fabric wriggling from every inch of his scales being covered in the larvae. Though he had initially been trying to cough them out before Finn's convulsing quickly ceased, his body arching as he could feel them crawling deeper into him. It felt... so good, even with how horrific this should have been the dragon found himself groaning in delight. Each time he felt more crawling into him it caused his back to arch, and eventually as he did his clothing popped off of him. It had already tore in several areas and as he clutched his scaly stomach it was because the distended flesh was swelling from how much had started to bloat him out.

But Finn no longer cared about how grotesque he looked or how big he was getting, though somewhere in his corrupted mind he craved even more growth. As the former dragon started to move around aagain the last of his slimy clothing fell away from his form, revealing the throbbing muscles underneath that were still swelling. Those larvae that hadn't squirmed their way into the mutated creature continued to wiggle against the dripping scales as Finn slowly got to his feet. His limbs popped and snapped as his body dripped with goo and there was only one thing that his corrupted mind could think of, and that was to continue to serve the whims of the hive. The task that he had sent out into the marshes to do in the first place became forgotten as he leaned forward, goo and larvae dripping out of his maw as a wet growl escaped his lips.

As the increasingly monstrous creature slowly stood up the skin of the new beast began to settle, the larvae that had completely engulfed the dragon merging with his flesh to leave it grey with a shine from the goo that oozed from it. The corrupted Finn continued to grunt and snarl as he slowly flexed his huge hands, feeling the muscles still growing and stretching from the mass that had been assimilated into him. The larval swarm had completely integrated itself into every inch of him and as it caused his body to grow he found himself wanting even more. The former dragon's mind burned with need as the horror of what had just happened to him had become forgotten, replaced with an insatiable need to grow and spread.

With a loud, wet snarl Finn finally got back onto his feet, the tattered remains of his clothing falling away as the squirming larvae inside continued to thicken his muzzle. His massive draconic feet sank into the mud and were stopped only by the new wet mebranes that had formed between his toes. When he attempted to straighten himself back up he found that he had become so huge that his hulking form couldn't do so, but as he rolled his shoulders and felt the power in his meaty arms it didn't matter to him anymore. The glowing eyes of the new behemoth had already started to be pushed towards his new goal, the occasional mutated tentacle sliding out of his mouth as he slowly began to lumber back towards the campsite where he could sense his latest prey waiting for him...

************

Rook frowned as he sat by the dying light of the fire, watching the embers of the wood that he had managed to gather slowly going out. With the night growing his irritation at Finn not coming back was quickly turning to concern. He hadn't heard them sloshing around either so if they were trying to find their way and had gotten lost he probably would have heard it by that point. Though it would have caused him to chuckle to see the other dragon coming back covered in mud from his misfortunate trip the fact was that the bog was still potentially a dangerous place.

With the deep mud and pools of stagnet water he decided to leave his armor off for the moment, instead just grabbing his sword and standing up to see if he could find Finn. As he looked around in the darkness he found that with the haze overhead it blocked out a lot of the light from the stars and moon overhead, which meant that he would be potentially stumbling around in the dark. Fortunately as adventurers they did have a solution to that problem and he went to his pack and pulled out a torch. With the last of the flame dying out he managed to use the last of it in order to light the end of it.

The torch blazed to life and as he pulled back up from the makeshift firepit, and as he did his head suddenly darted up as he heard the sound of bushes rustling. It was too much to just be the wind and as he brought up his sword he flashed the light of the torch to try and illuminate what it was. For a few moments he thought that perhaps it was Finn that had come back, but when he looked around with the torch he didn't see the other dragon anywhere. It didn't make any sense for him to play coy like that and as he went over to the source of the noise he found himself taking a step back at shock as he saw a footprint in the mud, one that was way too big to be Finn or any other humanoid creature.

As he slowly brought the torch down to it to examine the strange footprint he noticed something else that was strange. At first he thought that it was just wetness of the mud, but bringing the flames down to it he saw something wiggling and squirming around within it. It was some sort of worm or larvae that was digging around in the mud, but as he was about to try and poke at it with a claw he heard a much louder noise coming from right behind him. This time as the dragon turned around he found himself standing face to face with a massive creature, but before he could even raise up his sword to take a swing at it one of those huge hands swiped him and knocked it out of his hand and him to the ground.

The torch clattered to the dirt beside him and as Rook tried to quickly get up to address the threat he was once more pinned into the mud, sinking slightly before he saw the creature hover on top of him. His eyes widened in pure horror as the light from the torch illuminated the monster that looked vaguely dragon shaped, its entire body completely covered in pulsating flesh that wiggled and writhed slightly. As he attempted to squirm out of the clutches of this creature Rook could only watch as stomach of the creature started to swell even more, and as the one pinning him down started to convulse in pleasure that bulging belly had something pushing its way up his thickly muscled chest. As goo began to pour out of the monster's maw Rook thought that he was about to get thrown up on only to see something start to swell out his neck and slowly slither upwards.

For a brief second it looked like the vaguely draconic monster had arched his back in a silent scream, but instead of noise that came out from the dripping maw the thing that bulged out his throat was pushing up instead. The entire body of the massive creature convulsed, its head arching back as the huge tubular creature wiggled its way out of it. It looked like some sort of slimy, grotesque worm with an opening at the end of it, but before Rook could even have a chance to cry out the emerging creature had darted down along with the head of the one that housed it, the rubbery jaws stertched out like some sort of sheath. With a squeeze of the gooey paw on his chest it had caused the dragon's maw to open in a gasp, which was more than enough for the parasitic entity to push inside while more larvae and slime began to drip out of the creature above him.

Rook's eyes squeezed shut as it immediately slid past his tongue, already stretching his jaws as the head of creature continued to push down towards him with the giant worm within it. The dragon could see what used to be horns on the monstrous head wiggling about excitedly, though at the moment the warrior was attempting to squeeze his throat muscles to try and keep it out. It was incredibly persistent though and as he began to feel the larvae and slime started to drip all over his body Rook's eyes began to roll back in his head. As a connection began to form in the mind of the dragon his body began to convulse in pleasure as the worm that was shared between their muzzle had managed to slide all the way down into his throat.

Like with what happened with Finn, whom it dawned on Rook that this monster was, a wave of powerful pleasurable corruption had flooded into his mind. A glut of the thick parasitic goo oozed out passed his lips and even out of his nostrils as the larvae's body swelled briefly from it being pumped into him. The very first one caused his scaled stomach to grow distended, his gut jiggling with the squirming creatures that he could actually feel inside of him. It felt... so good, and with the majority of what was dripping onto his scales and filtering into his body was in the chest he could feel them infiltrating his muscles and causing them to thicken.

Already the coloration of the scales was starting to bleed out as the parasite transformed them, turning into the same alien flesh as the one on top of him as the giant larvae wiggled and pulsated while rook remained laying there in the mud. There was nothing that the knight could do; even with his strength and training this monster had gotten the drop on him, and the more that the worm pushed down into his gullet the harder it was to focus on fighting back. The clawed hands that had been gripping the head of the creature to try and push it back slowly began to slide down its face, the larvae that had transferred from their touching flesh wiggling into the scaled palms and causing goo to ooze out over them. The eyes of the dragon on the ground began to flutter as his mind quickly succumbed to the corruption of the larvae, his own need to be strong and mighty being turned against him by the larvae continuing its invasion of his body as Finn's form suddenly tensed.

Suddenly Rook felt the worm that was practically distending his jaws thrash and bloat, his own eyes snapping open as he felt a rush of fluid roll through the alien creature. As the thick ooze gushed into his stomach it caused the scaly stomach to quickly inflate, growing distended like he had just swallowed a massive meal. It was accompanied by a powerful, orgasmic wave of pleasure that crashed through what few mental barrier remained between him and his fate of becoming a host. As his back arched and goo flooded back out of his maw and nostrils his entire body convulsed, then his arms and legs reached up to wrap around the creature. The sudden surge of alien thought in the mind of the dragon pushed him to get more, his head practically pushing forward to get more of the wiggling worm inside of him even with his entire neck being bloated out from how much was already inside of him.

The belly of the dragon didn't last long before it began to deflate once more, the goo suffusing into the transforming body of the latest larvae host. Already with their bodies rubbing together the slithering creatures had begun to push past the softening scales just like it had done with Finn. There was no stopping it, and the dragon didn't want to as his mind's eye showed him what he was about to become. The need to serve and protect was replaced with the need to infest and spread, and with it came the promise of pleasure and the show of power that was already showing in his musculature. With another thick deposit of goo from the alien creature on top of him Rook let out a muffled, gurgling roar as this round of goo found itself immediately rippling out, the previous barriers that had stopped its spread no longer there while his entire frame stretched and bloated with new growth.

Though the red coloration remained on the growing creature the scales that the dragon had were rapidly merging and being assimilated, becoming the same rubbery flesh as the one on top of him. It allowed for the easy passage of more of the life-giving larvae to squirm into the parasitic creature, who was quickly translating their invasion into his body as pleasure. More larvae meant more power, and as the goo continued to pour into the rest of his body it caused his legs and arms to swell out with muscle. The mutations were rapidly spreading through the growing creature, but Rook's mind was completely locked into the pleasure of the massive worm inside of him as his eyes and ears were encased and merged into the goo that had been pouring over his head from his muzzle.

There was one more push of transformative goo from the giant worm before it began to slither back into its original host, the deed done as the creature that had been rook continued to squirm and convulse in pleasure from his infestation. Unlike Finn who had to take some time to get used to his new body Rook's corruption had been accelerated through the use of the first host, the creature still growing even as he began to roll over and get on all fours. As his wings drooped Rook had to pause and arch back as his shoulders and back muscles popped and stretch, the larvae within mutating and growing the fibers within to make him even more massive. He had been bigger than Finn before they had run into these creatures and it appeared it would be the case once more as his head almost briefly disappeared from the massive swell of parasitic flesh that threatened to engulf it.

Rook's neck was quick to compensate as the fleshy tube looked like it was being stretched out from the huge worm that had invaded it being pulled out, the already parasitic dragon head thrashing back and forth in pure ecstasy. As he maw snapped shut once the worm had completely extradited itself from it there were still some larvae dripping from it, along with the goo that was causing his skull to swell like a balloon. With the primal feelings of raw power coursing through his corrupted thoughts Rook's hands went to his head to feel it grow bigger, which was also happening to his paws as the goo that was pushing through his huge, thick arms finally reached his hands. Thick claws pushed their way out from his fingers that merged from five to three, the remaining digits being connected by a slimy membrane as his feet twitched while becoming massive paws that slowly dug into the mud.

The smaller parasitic creature had taken a step back as the worm pulled back inside his body, watching the newest creation and host of the larvae slowly rise to his feet. As it stood back up it towered over the other one, the rubbery red flesh of his body stretching over its new form like it was a skinsuit while more of the goo dripped down the heavy musculature that comprised his form. His physique had been pushed well past the normal to the point of hulking, the behemoth's skin still wiggling and writhing with the larvae that were just underneath the new flesh. As he slowly took a step forward his entire leg nearly sank into the mud from all the mass and growth that made up his new monstrous form, and as the creature's jaws stretched open and several larger tongue-like worms slithered out into the air the only thing that he could think about was wanting more.

Not just more mass either, something that both creatures shared was the need to spread the larvae that had infested every inch of their bodies and their psyches. The old quest that these two had been on was forgotten, their old lives shattered from the powerful need and desire that was instilled into their parasite-infested minds. The swords and armor that the two had prided themselves on, what marked them as warriors and knights of the realm, were left in the mud with the rest of their gear in order to be forgotten. None of that mattered to the two, not when these blessed creatures that squrimed inside them gave them everything they needed to survive as their augmented vision scanned the bog.

With goo and larvae still dripping from their bodies they slowly began to lumber away from the campsite. Even with their transformations mostly complete the two creatures were still growing, the muscles within twitching as the larvae within continued to reward their new hosts with bigger bodies and better muscles. By the time they reached their destination they would potentially be unrecognizable as humanoid, much less draconic in nature. With each footstep they would continue to move towards their destination, the one thing that the two did retain in their memories was the town that they had been attempting to reach on the other side of the bog...

Those that were on the edge of the bog had no idea what had transpired within, though everyone that lived there knew that it was foolish to venture further in then the outskirts. None of them really knew why, all they were aware of was that something lurked out there that their ancestors warned about long ago. It was what made building the initial path through the marshes so problematic in the first place, but so far none of them really had any problems. That was until dawn had broke over the horizon and the bull left one of the houses to see that his farmhand that helped with the harvesting was not around.

It was not like the cheetah to have overslept, and as he stepped further out he could see the equipment that he usually used was out and on the edge of the bog where he would start his work. "Elijah?" the bull called out, only to get no response in return as he got closer to the edge of the bog where he saw a shadow. "Hey, what are you doing all the way out there?"

As the light from the sun grew brighter the bull was suddenly startled as someone came running from another side of the bog, looking over to see the terrified cheetah running towards him. He was shouting something about monsters while trying to brush something out of his wet, matted fur, the feline pointing out to the direction where the shadow had been. The bull gasped as he saw that one had become two, and that they were far more than shadows as the two massive monsters began to plod their way towards his direction. He pushed for the feline to run and get the town guard, but when the only thing he heard in response was a retching sound he turned to see that the cheetah's head was tilted back and that goo and larvae were pouring out of his mouth while his tunic began to tighten from the stretching muscles underneath...
