Micro May Day 4: Postgame Special
This story's prompt was: Unaware in a locker room. Someone gets more than he bargained for when the game ends early .
It was a little before the end of the college football game. I was in the locker room. I shrunk down using my own invention: the shrink belt. I had a habit of doing this, but I tried to not be as disruptive as I did. Sneaking in for a show was more than enough for me. As I was looking for some place to hide, something was different. I could hear a group approaching. Did it end sooner than I thought? I scramble for any kind of shelter. I couldn't just go back to normal and get out of here because the belt needed to recharge after changing sizes.
The doors fly open as the rowdy men seem to be in a good mood. Assuming they won the game. I hide under a locker, getting the ground shaking as they take their massive steps. I was pretty small size to avoid detection. Someone would have to be actively looking for me to find me.
"Oh, if only I paid more attention to the sports ball." I say, cursing myself for this oversight. I was as the men started changing and talking with each other. The huge amount of giant voices makes it impossible to focus on a single conversation.
Eye candy aside, I had to try to get out of here. I try to walk, but being on the floor makes it hard with the tremors. I fall forward and end up smashing my belt.
"No!" I yell as I try to pick up the pieces that flew off. I now had no choice but to try to get help. I walk out and try to wave someone down, hoping they could hear me by some stroke of luck.
"Hey! Down here! Anyone?!"
Someone is coming my way, but they aren't looking down. A human guy is coming back to his locker, naked. I run as fast as my legs can take me, but I'm too late, and he steps on me. My senses are assaulted with his sweaty warmth as I stick a little to his foot. I try my best to peel myself off and, with some effort, finally do so.
I try once more to run, but the man comes back and kicks me accidentally. I'm flung into his gym bag as he stuffs more dirty clothes inside and zips it up. I try to dig my way out and call for help, but it was no use; I was just a tiny speck along for the ride at this point.
