More Than Just an Adventure, Chapter 15

The next entry in the continuing adventures of n666 n666's OCs Lukas and Venxia. It's always a pleasure to write for this pair. After crossing the Kildare Plains, Lukas and Venxia find themselves running low on funds thanks to some questionable fees levied on them by the local baron. They are approached by a group looking to put a stop to the baron's unfair policies and Lukas and Venxia wouldn't mind a little payback.

As the caravan rolled across the Kildare Plains a mountain range started to poke its way up into the horizon. Lukas nudged Venxia with his shoulder.

“Hey, look! You can see the Farspire Mountains in the distance.”

“Hmm?” She looked up from her book and shaded her eyes with her hand. “Ah, it’s nice to see something that isn’t grass or grain.”

“We’ll be seeing more farms as we get closer to the city.”

“I’d wager.” Venxia looked back down to her grimoire. “Let me know when you can see Kline’s Gate, ok?’

It was late in the day when the caravan reached the toll gate outside the walls of Kline’s Gate. The city was a major trading hub built around the entrance to a safe pass through the Farspire Mountains. Two other major roads met at Kline’s Gate as well, and from what Lukas could see they also had large fortified toll gates set on them.

After waiting in line for the gate master, Aneirin was happy to be rid of his toll token. The bureaucrat took the small wooden token and inspected it for every seal before making a notation in his logbook.

“Everything seems in order here.” He dropped the token into a pouch hanging on his belt. “You and your caravan are free to continue on to the city.”

Aneirin gave a slight nod “Alright then.” Aneirin kept his comments to himself as he took his spot back at the head of the caravan.

By the time he was seated the gate was open and the caravan started to move out once more. The last cart had just cleared the tollgate when suddenly they were stopped by a guard on a horse. Before the wheels could grind to a halt, over a dozen men on foot surrounded the wagons.

Aneirin dropped his reins and stood up, “What is the meaning of this?”

“You are all to submit to inspection and registration as foreign armed persons.” The guard on horseback informed them.

The caravan master stared back blankly at the guard. “What? What does that even mean?”

“For the safety of the citizens of Kline’s Gate, visitors armed with weapons or spells need to pay the fees to be properly registered before entering the city.”

“This is outrageous! I’ve hired guards for my caravan because of how dangerous the roads are. You can forget about us entering the city. We’ll camp elsewhere for the night.”

The mounted guard was ready for this reaction. “Without being properly registered you will not be able to enter the city at all, which includes access to the mountain pass gate.”

Even from their cart, Lukas and Venxia could see Aneirin’s face going nearly purple with rage.

“Never in my life have I ever heard of such an affront to honest travel and trade! Who is the greedy idiot responsible for such an asinine policy?"

“This is the decree of Baron Chaufourier, so you will watch your tongue before insulting his proclamations.” The guard warned

“What? Were the tolls not making enough money for the good baron?”

“This is to ensure the safety of the citizens of Kline’s-”

“Spare me. How much more is this going to cost me?”

“You misunderstand, the registration is on an individual basis. Anyone who is not able to fully cover the cost of their own registration is subject to public service indenture until the cost is worked off.”

The mood of the caravan quickly went from annoyed to angry.

“Surely, I can cover any of my guards who are short on coin. We can’t afford to be stuck in the city for longer than we have too.”

The guard shook his head. “The Baron decreed that it is solely the responsibility of the individual, if they can not afford to be registered, they can’t be trusted with arms. Now, I ask that the members of your caravan to line up in an orderly fashion so they can be registered, or you turn around and go back the way you came.”

There was little choice at this point. Aneirin was already committed to the route through Kline’s Gate, and even if he was willing to lose the time to rerouting, he would end up back on another damnable toll road. The rest of the caravan realized there was nothing they could do either, other than swear to never return to the lands governed by Baron Chaufourier ever again.

“Have you ever seen anything like this before?” Venxia asked as they waited for their turn in line.

Lukas shook his head. “I’ve had my sword peace bound before, but nothing like this.”

Just ahead of them in line, Liuva discovered that being a cleric of the Light required the same magical registration as a mage. She dropped the additional gold coins into the registrar’s money box slowly.

“The Church will hear of this.” She said in a cold voice as she snatched her registration seal out of his hand.

Lukas sighed as he stepped up to the registrar. After giving his name, his weapons and armor were assessed. After paying an additional fee for having a bow as well as a blade he received his seal. As he looked down at the cheap piece of tin, he wondered just how many meals the gold could have bought them. Next up was Venxia. As a spellblade she needed to pay an additional fee as a magic user. They weren’t exactly left broke, but it stung seeing all the gold wasted on this petty tax.

“You can let your Baron know, I will never lead another caravan anywhere near his domain for the rest of my life, and I will be sure to share what’s going on here with every caravan, merchant, trader, and random traveler that I possibly can.”

“Move along, and don’t cause any trouble in the city during your stay.”

“This Baron Chaufourier is an idiot.” Venxia said once their cart was out of earshot of the guards. “He’ll make a lot of money in the short run, but ultimately no one is going to trade with him once everyone knows about the tolls and fees.”

“People like that can never look at the big picture, or admit they were wrong when everything goes to hell.”

“I was planning on a big dinner tonight while we were in town, now I have to make sure our money will last to Rebondao and we get the bulk of our pay from Aneirin.”

“So cheap ale and bread then, just like when I first started as an adventurer.” Lukas grumbled as they followed the caravan to the parking grounds.

After first arranging for Finbar’s stay in the city, they walked through the town. Being in the district frequented by travelers and caravans they could just feel the resentment in the crowds all around them. Lukas found The Dented Helmet Pub a bit off the main thoroughfare. It was a bit run down and smelled of cheap ale and stale pipeweed. However, it was full of disgruntled travelers. Venxia purchased two steins of thin bitter ale for a few coppers and they sat down at a recently vacated table. Lukas winced at the first taste, but swallowed.

“At least it isn’t watered down.” He sighed

“If it were, there would probably be a full on riot.” Venxia placed her stein down on the table. “Do you think we can make it Rebondao with the money we have left?”

“We’re not completely out of personal supplies,” he took another small sip, “and Aneirin will see that we have food on the road.”

“But we’re probably going to be sleeping in the cart tonight, aren’t we?” She asked before taking a slow sip of her own.

Lukas shrugged. “I’m sure Finbar will appreciate the company.”

Venxia rolled her eyes before taking another sip of her beer.

“It’s not as bad as when we reached Salandra, honestly, and we will have a payday when we make it to Rebondao. Just hold off on buying any magical components until we can pick up some adventuring work again.”

As they did their best to enjoy their ale, Lukas noticed a small group had entered the pub. Three men in cloaks that looked out of place in a run down pub full of travelers. His suspicion increased when the trio made their way to them.

“Good evening.” One of them said in a voice just loud enough to be heard over the ambient noise. “Would you mind if we join you for a few drinks?” He motioned towards his companions and the pitchers of lager they were holding.

“These aren’t the only empty seats, you know.” Lukas said, obviously wary of the three strangers.

“True, but these are the only seats next to Lukas and Venxia, I believe.”

Venxia shared a look with her partner before she spoke. “Perhaps, but still, why?”

“Because you come highly recommended by Aneirin, and we can at least offer you better drinks in exchange for your time.”

Hearing the name of the caravan master shifted Lukas from being suspicious to curious. He looked over to Venxia who nodded slightly.

“Alright, have a seat.” He said, motioning to the empty chairs.

The three cloaked men did so, filling up the small table.

“Allow me to introduce ourselves. My name is Abel, and these are my colleagues Gérard and Jasmin .” the other two nodded as they were introduced. “We are members of the merchant’s guild of Kline’s Gate.”

“And that’s how you know Aneirin?” Venxia questioned.

Abel nodded. “Yes, he has passed through our city many times, though he has never been as, ah, vocal as he was this evening when he visited our guild hall.”

“Not that we blame him.” Gérard sighed, “Everything has been a mess for months at this point.”

“And the word is starting to spread.” Jasmin added as he placed fresh steins of lager in front of the adventurers. “Already there is a decrease in the number of traders coming to our city or passing through the gate.”

Lukas downed what was left of his cheap ale. “Do you know why the Baron enacted all these fees?”

“Most just assume greed and shortsightedness, but I don’t think so, or at least there is more to it.” Abel shook his head. “Chaufourier is not a young inexperienced lord. He’s already a grandfather several times over. He has always been one to indulge in the finer things in life, but rent from his land and the sale of his own grains always seemed to keep his coffers filled until recently.”

“Whatever his reasons are, we need to do something before all trade slows to a stop.” Gérard said before taking a long drink.

Venxia pushed aside what was left of her original drink and took the fresh stein into her hand. “I don’t disagree with you, but how do we work into this?”

“We have exhausted ourselves trying to get Chaufourier to see sense, but the only thing bigger than the baron’s gut is his ego.” Jasmin smirked slightly. “At this point we’re done with diplomacy.”

“We’re not looking for assassins,” Abel quickly added. “That would only make the situation worse. What we need is information.”

Jasmin nodded. “We know the Baron isn’t completely clean, even before he started fleecing traders and adventurers. But knowledge and proof are different things. We need evidence of some shading dealings.”

“And what do you plan on doing with said evidence?” Lukas asked.

“Either get him to roll back his recent money collection efforts, or report him up the chain to the King.” Gérard stated.

Venxia raised an eyebrow. “Blackmail then?”

Abel smiled slightly. “To nobles, especially ones like Baron Chaufourier, losing face is a worse punishment than any fine or prison cell.”

“Not to mention, having the proof on hand can help dissuade him from any other ill-conserved schemes in the future.” Gérard added.

“We’d like to use outside agents for this mission, people who will no longer be in the city after we acquire the evidence.” Abel said as he slowly turned his stein on the table. “Aneirin recommended you both to us when we spoke. Of course we are not asking you to do this out of charity. The guild will gladly compensate you for your trouble.”

Venxia took a long drink as she contemplated the offer. “I’ll tell you what, you throw in a good bowl of stew and room for the next few nights and you have a deal.”

The three guild members were quiet at first, but then Abel laughed.

“We can agree to that.” He stood up and offered his hand.

Lukas and Venxia followed suit and shook their hands to seal the deal.

***

Venxia was alone in the room the merchant’s guild had provided for them. Lukas was out gathering more information on the Baron and his manor. She had stayed behind to study and work on her notes while at a desk instead of bumping along in a cart. Despite the fact that this was the perfect opportunity to study, Venxia just couldn’t focus on the arcane. Her mind was more distracted by other thoughts. After a good dinner, and probably a few too many lagers, Venxia and Lukas had just passed out in their soft warm bed. The lack of play time before sleep was starting to make Venxia feel a bit needy in that department.

She closed the grimoire with a heavy sigh and stood up from the desk. Being alone in the inn’s room meant she was able to lounge about in her preferred form at least. She stretched out her body and tail before moving towards the bed.

If I’m going to do this, I’m going to do it right. Venxia smiled as she started to unlace her bodice.

The top peeled away to reveal a pair of smiling lipples. With the tip of her finger she teased the plump lips on her chest before sliding her hands down to her leggings. She pushed the tight leather off her legs and draped them over the chair. Venxia flopped down onto her back on the bed. After many days on the road an actual bed felt amazing, but she wasn’t laying down for a nap.

Venxia spread her legs wide and started to gently tease her slit. She let out a long sigh as she felt the familiar tingle. After a bit she started to slide her finger with more force, rubbing and probing her sex. It felt good, but after all the time she had spent with Lukas there was just something lacking from the experience. She tried to think of a solution while rubbing her clit firmly with her thumb.

It’s just more fun when someone else is doing it. Venxia mused.

Then an idea popped into her head. Along with the books she had needed in the auction, there were several other tomes that had been included. One of them had a spell that was perfect for what Venxia needed at this moment. She stood up and started to cast the spell, chanting and moving her body through the arcane motions. A soft glowing orb formed directly in front of her. As she completed the spell, the orb started to rapidly change shape. It stretched and swelled, at first becoming vaguely humanoid before refining its shape. Venxia smiled as she looked at her handiwork. The lessor clone spell made a quick copy of herself. It was almost perfect, other than her colors looked slightly paler or washed out. It would only persist for a short time, but more than long enough for what Venxia had planned.

The clone smiled back, intrinsically knowing what its creator wanted. Venxia laid back down on the bed and her body was quickly covered by the clone. They shared a deep kiss, long prehensile tongues intertwining. Meanwhile both sets of lipples indulged in long slow kisses as well. The clone slowly slid down her body, ending up in between Venxia’s legs. She moaned and sighed as she felt the clone’s lips kissing and teasing her slit. She closed her eyes as she felt the long tongue flick over her clit before it slipped in between her folds.

Venxia nearly levitated off the bed when she felt the long tongue of the clone slip into her deeply. She grabbed the clone tightly by her horns and pulled her down tighter against her slit. Venxia was glad the wards she had cast would keep both outside sounds from entering the room and her own noise from spilling out. She could feel the clone’s tongue trusting in and out as it curled and flicked inside of her. All the while the wild tendrils of the clone’s hair wrapped around her legs, squeezing her delightfully.

Venxia felt a deep shudder run down her body. That seemed to trigger the clone to go even faster and harder. Venxia’s back arched off the bed as she cried out with her release. She collapsed back onto the bed. The clone took a moment to slow down and release her. They both wore matching smiles. Rather than dismiss the spell, Venxia opted to cuddle with her copy until she was ready to get up from the bed.

She was relaxing and enjoying the clone’s soft caresses when the door opened. She knew it was Lukas, as the wards would have repelled anyone else from entering without her permission.

“And just what were you getting up to?” Lukas smirked as he took in the scene.

“Mmm, just trying out a new spell.”

“Oh? You’ve pulled the twin trick before with me.”

“That works well enough with you, but with just me a lesser clone is the better option, I don’t have to focus on both of us.” As she spoke, the clone blew a kiss to Lukas.

“I thought you stayed back to study."

“It was just a little study break. She stretched out her body smiling widely with all three mouths. “If you’re feeling left out you could always just drop your pants and jump in the bed with me.”

Lukas laughed before sitting on the bed next to her. “Maybe later, but first we need to discuss the Barron.”

“Well that just kills the mood.” She smirked but sat up. “What have you found out?”

“I was looking for some way to get us into his manor through the front door, and I think I might have something. The good Barron’s court mage has recently retired. Therefore, he is looking to hire a new one.”

“Hmmm, yes that could be a way for me to get in at least.” Venxia draped an arm over Lukas’ shoulders, and the clone mirrored her actions.

“I did some more research on the man, if you can call him that. He’s the type of guy who can’t take orders or advice from women. He would never hire a woman to be his court mage, however…”

“Yes?”

“He is a notorious womanizer, relying on his wealth and station to make up for his looks and lack of charisma.”

“Oh really? So he would entertain an interview then?”

“I’m almost certain of it, and after seeing your clone here, I have an idea to make it even more effective, and give us both perfect disguises.”

Venxia looked at her clone then back to Lukas unsure of where he was going with this. “What do you have in mind?”

Lukas took a deep breath and let it out slowly. “You still have those outfits from the auction, right?

Venxia blinked slowly, and then it dawned on her exactly what Lukas was thinking. A wide smile slowly spread across her face.

“Is it time for the sisters Luca and Valerie to make an appearance then?”

Lukas nodded. “I think so”

***

Even though it was his idea in the first place, Lukas was still a little unsettled as Venxia made her preparations for her spells.

“Relax, things will be easier this time.” Venxia said as pushed off the blanket Lukas had wrapped around his naked body. “I can just cast the spell directly on you this time.”

“That may make things easier for you, but it’s still about the same for me.” He grumbled.

Venxia giggled slightly before she focused her mind to cast the spell. Lukas felt the transformative magic start to take hold of his body. His legs lengthened and torso shortened, so in the end his height remained unchanged. His shoulders rounded and his face softened slightly, the small bit of stubble on his face also vanished. The more obvious changes were to his chest and hips. His breasts swelled growing round and full as his hips flared out and his rear grew round and full. By the time the spell was completed the only thing left masculine on Lukas’ body was his manhood hanging in between his legs.

“There, I think that’s what you looked like last time.” Venxia slipped off the blanket she was using to keep warm and started to shift her own shape, shrinking down slightly to match Lukas’ height before taking on near identical proportions. “You’ll have to take care of that before getting dressed.” she said pointing to his cock.

“I know, I know.”

Lukas took a deep breath and focused. This wasn’t a trick he had practiced at all since last time, and it took a bit to get into the right headspace. His manhood at first simply shrank in size. That part was easy, even if he most often did the opposite when messing around with Venxia. The tricky part came next. His balls pulled up into his body as his cock shrank further, nestling into the folds that formed out of what used to be his sack. When he was done Lukas panted a bit, as much from the mental exertion as the change in sensations.

“That looks convincing. Hurry and get dressed so I can do your makeup.” She said as she spread out her things on the desk.

Lukas just nodded as he picked the pair of panties up off the bed.

“So,” Venxia said as she opened a makeup jar, “ is there any change to our story from last time?”

“No, I used the same story that we are sorcerer sisters from Dilmel in the reference letters I had Abel forge for us.”

“And you’re still the big sister, right?”

“Yes, but you’re the real magical talent, I’m more of an assistant.”

“You have gotten quite good at ritual magic along our journey, just so you know.”

“Thank you, but we both know I won’t be throwing a fireball anytime soon.”

Venxia laughed then picked up a hairbrush. “Come here, I need to make that tangled mop presentable.”

***

As ‘Luca’ and ‘Valerie’ made their way through the noble quarter they got more than a few looks. Lukas had originally picked the matching outfits to fit the tastes of Reiner Kirchweger, and they were more than a little over the top. However, given what he had heard about the Baron Milo Chaufourier, Lukas was pretty sure the dirty old man would get a kick out of them as well. Gérard had spread the rumor that two beautiful sorcerer sisters had entered the city and were looking for employment. It must have taken hold given some of the whispered comments Venxia heard as they made their way to the Baron’s manor.

They were greeted by a guard at the gate to the manor and they handed over the reference letter. That was all it took to be let in and have an audience with the Baron. Venxia had to do her best to smile at the old portly man as he smiled a lecherous smile at the pair of them. They bowed respectfully to the baron.

“Greetings, Baron Chaufourier,” Lukas said in what he hoped was an appealing tone. “My name is Luca and this is my sister Valerie. Thank you for granting us an audience.”

“Oh, I assure you, the pleasure is mine. Would you mind stepping closer, my old eyes aren’t as sharp as they used to be.”

They walked closer to the large ornate chair that was supporting the baron’s large form.

“Much better. Please, state your business.”

“We recently arrived in your fine city, and after arriving we heard you were looking to hire a new court mage.”

“That is true, Old Marvarius finally reached his limits I’m afraid. However I was only looking for one court mage, not twins.”

“Not to correct you, Baron, but we are just sisters, not twins. Luca is a full year older than I am.”

“It’s a common mistake given our family resemblance.” The other sister said with a smile.

The baron chuckled. “Perhaps you should dress differently to make the distinction more clear.”

“I try, but she always copies me.” Lukas replied with a smirk.

This time the baron flat out laughed. “As amusing as you are, Luka, Why should I consider hiring the both of you?”

“We work as a pair, we always have.” Venxia took Luka’s by the hand, “Luka is invaluable to me as an assistant.”

“The older sister serves the younger?”

“I may be the eldest, but Valerie has the bulk of the magical talent."

“But together we are greater than individuals. Perhaps we could demonstrate our teamwork to you in some manner?” Venxia raised her eyebrow and smiled.

They could see the gears turning in his dirty little mind, which was exactly what they both wanted.

“Yes, perhaps we could have a bit of a demonstration, perhaps in a more comfortable setting?

“That sounds lovely, Baron. We would be more than happy to demonstrate our full capabilities and talents to you in private.”

The Baron pulled his body up off his chair and motioned for them to follow. “Please, join me in the parlor, we can continue our conversation there.”

One servant opened the chamber doors while another rushed ahead to quickly prepare the parlor for guests. Lukas and Venxia followed behind the slow moving Baron. Seeing the obvious opulence on display, Venxia decided to further stroke the Baron’s ego.

“I have been in noble manors before, but this truly is impressive.”

“Why thank you. My grandfather originally built the manor, but I have expanded and improved on it over my years as Baron.”

“It’s beautiful, we would love to call it home.” Lukas added.

Chaufourier chuckled. “We shall see, we shall see.”

By the time they reached the Parlor the lamps had been lit and there were several bottles wine ready. Lukas noticed the heavy doors and lack of windows. Chances were this parlor was where the Baron conducted business he wanted kept secret.

The baron sat in the middle of a wide couch and then indicated to his sides. “Please, sit down and relax.”

Keeping their smiles, Lukas sat on his right while Venxia sat on his left.

“So first I must ask, are there any other sisters in the family?”

“It’s just us I’m afraid.”

“And what brings you all the way out here from Dilmel?”

“You know, the call of adventure. Of course, no one ever talks about sleeping on hard ground or being stuck in a leaky tent for a storm.” Lukas had enough rough nights out on the road to sell the story.

“After a while out on the road we decided to look for more permanent employment. When we arrived in Kline’s Gate the other day, we heard you were looking for a court mage.”

“We can be quite useful to you in many ways,” Lukas flicked a bit of dust off the baron’s lapel, “ given our experience.”

“I like a woman with experience.” He placed a meaty hand on Luca’s thigh.

Seeing that his attention was on Lucas, Venxia decided to just go with it. “It’s been a long road getting us here, perhaps I should get us some refreshment.”

“Ah yes, that sounds delightful.” Chaufourier responded without moving his eyes from Luca’s cleavage.

Lukas bit back his urge to slug the baron and instead put on the smoothest smile he could with his painted lips. Venxia opened one of the bottles. She could tell they were fine vintages, but she hoped they were strong as well. She filled a crystal wineglass with the deep red wine and brought it back to the couch.

“Thank you, Valerie, I like a woman who can anticipate my needs.”

“With us you get that twice over.” Lukas giggled and hoped the baron was falling for it.

In fact, he was. Of course Chaufourier had no intention of ever hiring a woman as his court mage and arcane advisor, let alone a pair of women. However, the sisters seemed to be willing to do whatever it would take to get the job and he would take full advantage of that. Chaufourier’s hand slid further up Lukas’ leg as he drank his wine.

He’s drinking that fine wine like a cheap cup from a street vendor. Venxia was only further disgusted by the noble. But maybe we can use that to our advantage. She retrieved the bottle and brought it back to where they were sitting. “You must be so stressed out from overseeing the city. Here, have some more to help you relax.” She quickly refilled the wine glass.

Lukas figured out what Venxia was doing, he just was worried about how handsy the Baron was getting and how bad it would get once he was fully lubricated. The baron’s hand moved from his thigh to around Lukas’ shoulders.

“Tell me, Luca, just how do you assist your sister?”

“Oh, many ways. I gather reagents and components, gather information and research, I even take care of the simpler ritual castings. Also I-” Lukas trailed off as he felt his breast getting fondled by the baron’s hand while he pretended to listen.

“Let me fetch another bottle, please keep the baron entertained sister.”

“Of course, sister.” Lukas choked back the bile in his throat and placed a hand gently on the Baron’s chest. “I’m sure there are things I can assist you with as well to earn my keep in your manor.

Venxia kept one eye on the pair sitting on the couch while she scanned the room. Something caught her eyes, several sheets of parchment sticking out from a hastily closed desk drawer. Venxia wanted a closer look, but she didn’t think Chaufourier was quite distracted enough. She hoped a second bottle of wine would push him over. Venxia sat back down and reached around the portly baron to refill his glass.

“We are both eager to find permanent employment. I can assure you of our skills. Would you like a demonstration of my magic?”

“I trust if you have made it so far from your home that you are competent in slinging spells.” He drained half of his cup and held out his glass for more. “But there is more to being a court mage than just being able to shoot lightning from your fingertips.”

“Do tell.” Venxia said as he topped off his glass once more.

“You need to be able to interact in, ah, social situations.”

Lukas leaned in closer. “Do you mean like this?”

“Err, Ah, yes, discussions with nobility, knowing the proper manners, attending dinners, balls and such.”

“If there is something we don’t know how to do, we are quick studies, especially my sister.” Venxia said with a smile.

“Is she now?” The baron smiled a wide lecherous grin before downing his current glass of wine. “We might just have to test that later.”

Lukas gave his best girlish giggle. Meanwhile Venxia slipped away for more wine, but in reality her goal was checking out what was in the drawer. She quietly made her way to the desk, keeping an eye on the baron. Fortunately the only thing he was paying attention to was Luca. As quietly as she could, Venxia opened the drawer. Once it was open she scanned the top page of the stack of parchment her eyes went wide as she took it in. She didn’t bother reading the rest, she merely folded them back up into the leather satchel they had come in and tucked it into her belt. As she closed the drawer quietly she looked back over at the couch.

The wine was definitely kicking in, and it was bringing out the worst in the baron. His empty wineglass was discarded to the floor. He was now fully groping Luca through her dress while leaning in closer and closer to her face. Venxia had what they came for, and it was time to get out. She walked quickly towards the couch, already casting a spell softly under her breath. When she reached the baron she reached out and softly touched the back of his skull, releasing the spell.

Lukas was just about to push the lecherous Baron away, if not right out punch him when the large man’s eyes rolled back up into his head and he passed out. The baron fell forward and ended up burying his face right into Lukas’ chest.

“Sleep spell.” Venxia said softly as she lowered her hand. “With the wine already in him it will be extra effective.

“I see.” Lukas grunted as he pushed the snoring baron off his chest.

Venxia covered her mouth and tried not to laugh at the situation.

“Next time, if we ever do this again, you get to be the distraction.”

“Oh calm down, at least you didn’t have to kiss him.

After laying down the Baron properly on the couch, They opened the door to the parlor. There was a servant standing by the door and they informed him the baron had a little too much wine and passed out. From the heavy sigh and expression on the servant’s face it was obvious this wasn’t the first time such a thing had happened.

The sisters were escorted out of the manor quickly and without incident and once they were clear of the gate they hurried back to the inn. They slipped in through the rear door and back up to their room. Once the door was closed and warded they both let out sighs of relief.

“What did you find?” Lukas asked as he adjusted the bodice of his dress.

“The Baron is apparently mixed up in some kind of land deal up north. Something about mines and forests in the frontier lands.”

“So that’s why he needed all the extra money. But what makes this blackmail?”

“It looks like this is being done underhandedly, I think they are trying to cut out the king from the dealings, or at least keep it a secret from the royal court. I’m sure Abel and the guild will be able to fully understand and utilize it against that horrid man.”

“I’ll send a message to Abel that we have something for him, after I change.”

“Hold up there.” Venxia stepped closer and wrapped her arms around Lukas. “I don’t get to see Luca very often, and I want a chance to play with her first.”

“Oh really?”

“Really.” Venxia leaned in and kissed Lukas deeply.

Even with his body in its current state, Lukas couldn’t resist and returned the kiss with equal passion. As they kissed, Venxia's hands flowed over her partner’s body. Deft fingers unlaced the bodice, unfastened the belt and pushed the so-called ‘slutty mage’ outfit off of Lukas’ shoulders. It pulled around his feet on the floor of their room. Lukas wasn’t quite as graceful, but soon Venxia was standing there in just stockings and panties as well.

As they kissed and held one another Venxia started to shift away from her Valerie disguise into her preferred form. Lukas didn’t even notice it until she was once again taller than him. Venxia pulled him to the bed and covered him with her body. He felt her lipples already kissing and licking his chest, but in this disguise, they were far more sensitive. Lukas gasped as his nipples were sucked hard into the lipples. His reaction made Venxia giggle.

“What’s the matter, love? Too much?”

“N-not exactly, it just surprised me, that’s all.”

“I’m sure.” She smirked before leaning back in for another kiss.

Her tongue slipped in deeply into his mouth as her lipples continued to tease and suck on his nipples. Lukas did his best not to squirm, but it was difficult. Venxia slid her hands teasingly slow down his sides before hooking the sides of his panties with her fingers. Slowly she pulled them down, Lukas wiggling his hips a bit to help. Venxia slid down his body, leaving a triple trail of kisses down past his naval. She finished pulling off the panties and tossed them aside.

At first she simply caressed his inner thighs, slowly spreading Lukas’ legs wider.

Lukas wasn’t sure exactly what she was thinking before she quickly moved on the bed. It was almost a blur to him, but Venxia was now facing the opposite direction and grabbing his legs by the ankles. Before he could ask, she pulled him down the bed until their legs were scissored together. Venxia smiled widely, and it was reflected by her lipples before she started to move.

Lukas let out a small gasp. He doubted he was fully functional down there, but the sensitive nerves were all still there. He shifted his hips slightly, trying to get the most from Venxia's grinding maneuvers. She was enjoying it as well, but her mind was already planning her next move.

She let her vaginal tongue slipped out a bit, just enough to give Lukas a little tickle. Venxia laughed as her partner let out a yelp of surprise.

“Oh come on, I’m just getting started.” She smiled widely.

He didn’t get much of a chance to complain before Venxia straddled his face and pushed her pussy down onto his face.

Lukas reached up and grabbed her hips firmly before madly licking and moaning into her slit. Venxia closed her eyes and enjoyed the sensations for a moment, before leaning forward in between his legs.

She ran her fingers teasingly along the sides of the imitation pussy, making Lukas squirm a bit beneath her. Encouraged by his reaction, Venxia lowered her head down. She ran her tongue slowly along the slit but just as her tongue slipped in between the folds she got a surprise.

Lukas’ didn't consciously decide, it was just a natural reaction of his body made manifest through his magic earring. Erupting from Lukas’ body his cock grew not only back into shape, but hard and ready to go.

Venxia’s eyes went wide as her mouth was suddenly filled with his hard shaft. But she only hesitated for a moment before she started to suck and bob her head on the cock. As she did so, Lukas doubled his own efforts. As he did so the vaginal tongue slipped into his mouth, entwining and dancing with his tongue as he worked.

Venxia’s long tongue wrapped around his cock, squeezing and stroking it while she sucked. She gently cupped the balls that had dropped once again, rolling them gently between her fingers. That seemed to be the final touch to push Lukas over the edge. She felt his climatic moan vibrate her own sex as her mouth was filled with his load.

Venxia continued to grind against Lukas as he came hard. Even though he was drained, he didn’t rest until she cried out in pleasure as well. Very slowly she moved off of her partner, just to cuddle up against him. They both laid there, side by side catching their breath. Lukas was the first to speak.’

“Can you change me back now?”

Venxia cuddled up closer, resting her head against Lukas’ full breasts. “Just a few more minutes."

***

The next morning the caravan was fully packed and waiting by the gate to the mountain pass.

Abel, Gérard, and Jasmin were there, first they spoke to Aneirin before they made their way down the line to Lukas and Venxia. Lukas was making a few last minute adjustments to Finbar’s harness as they approached.

“Ah, there you are.” Lukas said with a smile as he finished up with Finbar.

“Good morning. Your message last night said you had something good for us.”

“We sure do.” Venxia hopped down from the back of the cart and handed a leather satchel to Abel. “This should be enough to get the Baron out of everyone else's wallet.”

Abel opened the packet and quickly glanced over the pages within. His eyes went wide with shock.

“Gods…I can’t believe it, this is all for some hair brained land grab deal? We will need to look into this further, but at least we know where to look.” He folded the sheets back into the satchel and tucked it securely into an inner pocket. “Thank you for acquiring this information.” He then nodded to Gérard.

“Please accept this along with the thanks of the merchant guild.” He handed over a rather heavy sack of coins to Lukas.

“It was our pleasure.” Venxia smiled warmly. “I hate to be rude, but it looks like Aneirin is ready to get going.

“Safe travels, and good luck on your endeavors." Abel smiled as he stepped back from the cart.

By the time Lukas and Venxia were in their seats, the Caravan was starting to move through the gate. It was an impressive sight as they rolled out of the town and onto the mountain pass. The peaks and cliffs of the Farspire Mountains rose up along the sides of the relatively narrow mountain pass.

“I was worried there was going to be a final surprise toll before we passed through the gates.” Lukas shook his head.

“It wouldn’t have surprised me in the least.” Venxia sighed, “But now that we’re through Kline’s Gate we’re out of the Baron’s influence.

“Still, he’s probably going to figure out that the sisters are the ones who stole that letter from his parlor.”

“But will he figure out that Luca and Valerie are you and I?”

“It depends on just how much trouble the fat bastard gets into over that letter. Still, we probably want a lot of distance between us and Kline’s Gate before the sisters make another appearance.”

“What about a private appearance, maybe of just Luca in my tent?”

Lukas chuckled. “Maybe.”

“You laugh but I’ll keep you to that.” Venxia stretched out before reaching for her notebook. “So It should just be a straight shot to Rebondao from here, right?”

“Once we get through the pass, yes. We’re almost to the University, I hope they will have some useful information.”

“I’m sure they will. I’ve also gotten a lot out of those grimoires.” She ran a hand down over her notes. “I think I’m getting close to the answers I need.”

“And what do we do after that?”

Venxia shrugged. “I’m not in a rush to get anywhere really. I suppose we could slowly wind our way back home and see what kinds of adventure and excitement we can find on the way.”

“As long as we’re together, I’m sure we’ll find both.”
