Pokémon meets Final Fantasy 11 (A Myth and a Young Maiden) (Reforged)

The show had been a complete success, and of course they had won. The result of that was that the prices in the cafeteria stood still for one more year, and everyone was happy about it.

Nearly 1 year later, somewhere in a little park

It had been a nice year for Yamato and Natascha. Their love for each other had grown more and more, and in school they had become the number 1 love pair, but till now they hadn't shared some exchanges of love like a kiss or even sex. Each time they came this far, Yamato had broken it by looking or going away a bit, saying that he couldn't do it.

Natascha was always mad about it, and she always asked him why, and today he gave her some kind of an answer that she couldn't understand until now.

„Why can´t you just kiss me like every other pair? It's nothing this hard, is it?" She asked while they were both sitting on a little bank, which was standing next to a little lake.

"If I tell you... would you just stop asking me about it?" He answered while he looked at the ground.

„Of course. Why not?“

He looked up straight in the direction of the lake. Then, after some seconds of silence, he said.

„Do you know that there´s a myth being told over this lake?“

„No. But what does..". She was cut by him.

"Well... that myth says that within this lake a mighty creature of darkness has been sealed and that it will return someday to bring the darkness over the whole world."

"O..... K..... "

"It's also been said that a young maiden would be the one who will break its seal and that maiden would be the queen of Arthur Pendragon."

„ÄÄÄÄHHHHH..... Are you telling me that you are...?"

He nodded a yes.

"OHHH.... Then.... Thank you, Your Majesty, that you let me be your queen." Natascha said with some fun in her voice and did some joking moves.

„Tsk.... Always the same.“ He said in return.

„Come on... I wanted to know the truth, but you are still telling me some fake stories... Even if they are good... Well... that's one part of you that I like very much."

She took his right paw and brought him to get up from the bank, together with her.

„Come on now. Let us go home. I'm getting hungry."

„OK. Just give me a few minutes. I'll need to check on something."

„OK. See you later." She said and ran home.

Luckily she was not able to hear him say it while he looked into the lake.

„I wish that it would be a fake story. Damn Bahamut of Darkness!“

For a second a red seal was seen in the lake once he had said that.

The next morning, a week before today,

The rest of the day hadn't been special, but today was.

All over the day, Yamato had felt sick or some kind of it. As if a shadow of darkness was hunting him or something. He was nervous and not so concentrated as always, and he always thought that someone was watching him. That was the reason why he had told Natascha to go alone when she asked him if he wanted to go shopping for some food with her, but now he wished that he had said yes because all of a sudden he felt a stinging pain deep inside his heart. As if someone had stung it with a Gunblade.

He became really nervous, and he tried to call her.

*PIEP, PIEP *

„Come on! Get on the phone!“

*PIEP, PIEP *

*PIEP, CLICK *

„Natascha? It's me. Where...". He was cut by a loud...

"HELP ME!!!! I AM..." *CLICK* "Your connection was terminated by User," a computer voice said.

His heart began to bump faster and faster while he tried again to call her, but he only got the following.

„The person you´ve called is temporarily not available. Please call again later."

"HOLY HELL!!!" He screamed while he ran along the main floor and put on his blade and his shoes.

Once he had them on, he ran out of the house while he screamed into his headphones.

„ACTIVATE GPS TRACKING SYSTEM!!!“

"Target?" Came back as an answer from it.

"MATE!!!" He again screamed after he had reached the road in front of his house.

A few seconds passed with nothing happening. Then he heard the voice again.

„No sign of Mate found.“

"OH NO!!!" He said while his heart began to beat countless times.

"Search for my Knights!!!" He said, after some seconds later.

„Which one?“

„Everyone!!!“

Again, a few seconds passed without anything happening. Then...

„Signs found.“

„Show it on the arm display.“ He said while he moved up his right arm.

A metallic glove formed on it, and a second later a screen showed above it. On the screen was a map to be seen, and Yamato's eyes became big because each sign of his Knights was gathered in one place.

„Show Life indicator.“ Was his next command, but only a second later he deeply wished that he hadn't asked for it.

A list with each knight's name became visible, and next to the name was a green life bar, but not each one was green anymore. Only 4 were green. The rest were only red or black, which meant that the person was dead, and already 3 were black.

Right after he had seen that, he began to run like a greyhound, and while he ran, he only thought. I'm coming, my friends!!! Please hold out!!!

Normally, he had needed around 30 minutes to reach the park, but thanks to the fact that he had trained like a berserk all over the year, he made it within 10 minutes. While he ran, his glove made a beeping sound 2 times, and he did a quick look only to become angrier because on each peep, one life indicator had become black while the 4 green ones had become red one by one.

At the park, or better said, at the battlefield

Once he had reached the park entrance, he did another quick look at the map screen to look for the right positions of his friends.

„In the middle of the park, next to this fucking lake!!! DAMN!!! Why now?" He said to himself while he set off to run again.

He ran up a little hill, and once he was standing on top, he saw what he had deeply hoped to never see. His friends were lying all around the place, next to the lake, covered in their blood. He did a quick look around, and then his eyes became fixed and his heart stopped beating because he saw a scene that was only to be seen in a horror movie normally.

Victor, his best friend , was standing in front of Natascha, who was kneeling on the ground with fear in her eyes because something bad had happened to Victor.

An adult-looking human, who was engulfed in a dark aura, had pushed his gunblade through Victor's body, and while Yamato tried to hold his pure anger back, that human threw Victor to the side like it was a piece of trash.

At that moment he became insane, and he used his special ability for the first time in this fight.

30 minutes earlier at Natascha's side

She had finished shopping and was on her way back when she decided to move through the park, even if she didn't know why, and once she reached the lake, she stopped to let her paws get a bit of rest.

"OOOOHHHH.... My paws are burning like hell."

"Good for me!" A male voice suddenly said from somewhere, making her jump up in surprise.

"WHAT THE... WHO'S THERE??? SHOW YOURSELF!!!" She screamed out while she looked around and had her right paw on her blade.

First, no one was to be seen, but then suddenly, someone appeared behind her, letting her do another jump when he said, and grabbed her blade.

„You don´t need this!“

It worked perfectly. With the jump she disarmed herself, and once she landed, the person hammered his fist into her stomach, letting her vision fade for some seconds.

Once she got it back, she saw a human male standing in front of her, holding his exposed blade under her chin.

„Damn!!! What do you want from me?" She managed to say it without getting hurt by that blade.

„That's what your friend told you.“ The human said while he moved up his blade slowly.

"What the... hell do you mean?" Natascha now said while she had moved her head back as far as she could.

„OH come on.... You know the story of this lake. Or should I say myth, as your friend called it?"

„NNNNGGGHHHHH......" She felt the tip of his blade on her chin, and she tried to move herself out of the way, but her body didn't move.

„HAHA.... Trying to figure out why you can't move anymore? Let me show you."

Suddenly, 2 dark wings became visible on each side of Natascha, and the base of them was that human who became a dark aura around himself.

"Who the fuck are... N…" The human had pushed his blade a bit further, but luckily, she didn't start bleeding, even if his blade tip was already very far.

„That doesn´t matter. NOW DIE!!!" The human screamed and made himself ready to strike, but then something happened.

Another Blade came out of nowhere, and a loud scream was heard.

„NOW KNIGHTS ATTACK!“

The human quickly dodged the attack, but by doing so, he lost his grip on Natascha.

Once free, Natascha took a deep breath of relief, and then she heard a familiar voice saying,.

„Are you alright? Are you hurt?"

It was Victor's voice, and she answered him while she still had her eyes closed.

„I´m fine, doc. I´m not wounded."

Then she opened her eyes. First slowly, but then fast because she couldn't believe them.

Right in front of her were 6 armored Morphs standing and Victor, also wearing armor.

"Good. Now leave the rest to us." Victor said while he turned to face the human.

"HAH.... It seems like he has sent his guard dogs to do his work." The human said once he had regrouped. "Well then. Let us have some fun then before I kill her."

„The only blood you will see is yours. NOW!!!" Victor said and screamed.

The moment he screamed, 2 paws came out of the ground under the human, grabbing its legs. At the same moment, the last 4 knights came out of nowhere from behind him by jumping, aiming for his back with their blades.

"OHO.... It seems like you have learned from the past, but still…." The human said, and then an impact was heard.

The 4 Knights had been hit by a dark shadow and landed on their backs on the ground.

„You are still worthless, like your precursor. Now to you down there! GET OFF MY FEET!“

The human hammered his blade into the ground, and then both hands immediately retreated. Then the human moved the blade out of the ground again, and on its tip was Gawain hanging.

The blade had moved through his left shoulder and had destroyed the artery there, letting his blood flow in streams and him scream in pure pain.

„GAWAIN NO!!! YOU BASTARD!!!" Parzival screamed while he did a charge attack towards the human, but he was prepared for that.

He swung his blade around, and in the right moment he tossed it back, letting the Body of Gawain fly towards his friend.

Parzival caught him before the impact, but right at that moment the human suddenly appeared in front of them and slammed his blade straight into Parzival's and Gawain's hearts.

„2 down. Many more to go." The human said afterwards he had pushed the blade of the Death Bodies.

"You... You think that this is... A GAME?" Tristan now screamed while he attacked together with the others. Except Victor, who still stood at Natascha's side.

„Of course it is a game. More worthy are you not to be called." The human answered, and then he did a quick move around himself.

That move let each one of the attackers bounce, and then the shadow appeared while the human said with a smile.

„Now you are next.“

„AAAAAAHHHHHHH!“

The shadow, which now turned out to be a tail or something, buried itself into Tristan's body and straight through his heart.

„That makes 3, and I´m not even warm.“

The shadow reappeared, and Tristan's dead body dropped down to the earth.

„YOU FUCKING SON OF A BITCH!“

Now each knight began to fight with the human in close combat, but no one managed to even do a scratch on him. Meanwhile, Natascha looked at the whole scenario with pure terror.

"Why......? Why are you doing this??? Please... give up!!! Stop this meaningless fighting." She said to Victor, but he only answered.

„We will not. We have sworn to protect the people, and we have sworn to our king that we would protect his queen with our lives.“

"You... your king?" She asked in shock, and right at that moment her phone rang.

First she didn't realize it until Victor said.

„Take the call. It's surely him. Tell him what happened. Quick!"

She then took her phone into her paw, but once she was able to see who was calling, the phone became silent.

Then, a second later, a message was shown, telling that Yamato had called. She then wanted to call him, but right at that moment Yamato called her again when she nearly wanted to press the wrong button, but luckily she didn't. She pressed the button to take on the call, and then she wanted to speak, but then she heard him saying something.

He was talking, but then she burst out and cut him off.

„HELP ME!!! I AM AT THE PARK AND... FUCK!“

"What?" Victor asked while he still targeted the human.

„I have totally forgotten to load my phone, and now it went out while I talked!“

„Did you manage to say something?“

„I don´t know!“

„Damn!!! Now our monitors are our only hope left."

"What monitors and who is your king? It cannot be my Yamato."

„Why not?“

„He is... too kind for that. He is just a... normal guy."

„HAH.... Believe it or not. He is our king, and the monitors are some kind of a GPS system."

Around 20 minutes later

The fight had gone bad for the Knights. One by one they had fallen to the human's blade, and now only Victor was left as a last fortress between the human and Natascha.

"Only you are left, so... make room, or you will follow your friends." The human said, triumphing.

"Forget it. I will stay put and save her." Victor answered and prepared himself for his attack.

"TSK.... Why are you all so persistent in saving a useless female?"

„She isn´t useless!!! She is the one that our king wants as his mate, but that is something that you will never understand, you ghost of the past."

Right after he had said that, Victor attacked, but he followed the same fate as his friends.

The human simply did a quick uppercut with his blade to hammer Victor's blade aside, and then he hammered Victor away with the knob.

Victor flew to the side, and once he landed, he spilled out some blood, but only a second later, he moved up and jumped towards the human again.

"Useless!" The human only said and gave him the next hammer into Victor's face once he was close enough. This time Victor kissed the ground hardly right in front of the human.

„You Morphs are all the same. You were all the results of a failure, and you are only worthy to get killed. Now die!“

The human then moved his blade up and then straight down to kill Victor, but he quickly dodged it and placed himself again in front of Natascha.

"You must talk... *COUGH*.... Look at yourself... *COUGH*... You have given up your human body to a creature that doesn't even exist in this world... *COUGH*... But you still call yourself a human, you freak." Victor said while he spilled out more blood.

„Shut up, you trash! Even if I´m an Eon now, I´m still a human, and that means I´m still better than you!" The human answered, but now its voice had changed. It was now as if he would speak with 2 voices at the same time.

„You are the trash! Saying that you are... GGGGGGGAAAAAAHHHHHH!" The human had hammered his blade into Victor's body and moved him upwards afterwards, letting his blood run along the blade.

"Get out of my sight!" The Human said and moved the blade quickly to the side, letting Victor's body fly away.

„Nerving pests... Thinking that they could do something against me ... Now, where were we? AHHH, yes! Give me your blood, and then die like the rest of your worthless beings!“

Then the human made a move towards Natascha, and then he moved his blade for the final strike, but then something happened.

Natascha, who was still on her knees, had her eyes closed and prayed that someone would save her. Then, after some seconds of hoping, she heard a voice that she had deeply wished to hear, and she opened her eyes to see her savior. Her friend Yamato.

„Excuse me. Mind if I join the fun?" Yamato said, and then he grabbed the human's blade.

Next he pushed the blade up hard and exposed the human's middle, which he immediately targeted with a roundhouse kick.

The human flew around 10 feet backwards and then landed on its ass hardly.

„AAAHHHH....... DAMN YOU!!! WHO THE HELL... AHA... Finally! The king is here to follow his knights. Excellent!" The human said while it got back to its feet.

„Natascha. Are you hurt, my dear?" Yamato asked, paying no attention to the human, and that nearly got him freaking out.

„HEY YOU!!! ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME???" The human asked but didn't get an answer.

„I´m fine.“ Natascha said back to Yamato.

"YOU DAMN ........ WWWWWAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" The human had attacked again, but he got the same result as last time.

Yamato had simply pushed the blade away with his flat hand, and then he had given him a much harder roundhouse kick. Letting the human now fly back around 15 feet and onto a stone.

"C.... Crap.... You get this back!" The human said while it shook his head. „Come and face me, you... HEY!“

Yamato had ignored him again by simply turning towards his knights and then walking in their direction.

„What does that mean? Do you already give up? OK! Then I'll take her blood now." The human said and did a charge attack towards Natascha, who looked in disbelief at Yamato.

"Now die....... GGGGGGGAAAAAAHHHHHHH......... "

The human had come near Natascha, but once he had been close enough, he was suddenly hammered backwards by an invisible force, straight into the stone again.

"What the... What was that?" The human said, wondering, and looked at Yamato, who had reached Victor's body.

"I'm sorry... NNNNHHHHH... I couldn't... NNNNHHHH..." Victor said to Yamato while his life faded.

„You did what I had expected from you, my friend. Now hold still. I take care of you." Yamato said back while he began to heal Victor's wounds with his highest Heal magic. Vigara LVL. 3“

„Shit! I don't know what that was, but now I will not fail! DIE!“

The human had attacked again. This time much more quickly than last time, but once he reached Natascha...

"....…TTTTTTHHHHHAAAAAA........ "

*CRASH*

..... He was pushed back again, and this time he crashed into the stone and broke it.

All over the process, Natascha hadn't moved an inch. She had only looked onto Yamato first, but right after the attack, she had only faced the human.

"DOUW..... Why.... What...." The human said while he slowly got back up.

Once he was up, he attacked without a word, but the result was the same again. Yet this time Natascha thought that she had seen something for a split second.

Meanwhile, Yamato had healed Victor so far that he could stand up again.

"Can you move?" Yamato asked.

„Think so.... But I'm not a help with fighting him."

„Don´t worry. I'll take care of him. Here... take this. You know what to do with them."

Yamato had handed Victor some strange-looking feathers.

„Yamato! From where do you have them? These feathers are phoenix feathers."

„From where do you think I have them? I asked, and he gave them to me."

Yamato spoke from the Phoenix itself.

„B..... But..... It never gave any to anyone. How....."

"Stop it. Heal our friends with it."

And so he did. Together with Yamato, he began to heal each knight one by one.

In between, the human tried his luck by attacking nonstop, but it always ended the same. As if Natascha was protected by a wall, but it was no wall.

Each time the human was hit, Natascha could see a shadow appear for some seconds, and that shadow became more and more visible to her each time. Now she could already tell that it was a person, but she still couldn't see what person it was until the human changed his tactics.

„HHHMMMMM.... It seems like something or someone is protecting you, little bitch. Well... let's see if it can be at 2 places at the same time!"

The human then moved his arm straight towards Victor's current position and fired a big, black fireball at him. Then he attacked Natascha again, who was still, for her sake, in her place.

„HAH!“ The human shouted once near. "Seems like I wwww....... NNNNOOOOOOOOO!"

The human was knocked back again, and once it landed, it got a big and hot surprise.

„This cannot...... AAAAHHHHHH! HOT! HOT!“

His fireball had been blocked as well, and it had been sent back to its sender. Plus, Natascha had now seen who it had been that was protecting her.

It was Yamato who protected her somehow, and she had even seen that he had said something, but she hadn't heard a word.

Now Victor and Yamato had reviewed each of the Knights, and Yamato wanted to give them some orders, but he had to act again. This time, however, it became different.

He moved with his time-stop ability in front of Natascha and knocked the human back, but then he saw that she was fixing him with her eyes and even followed every movement he did. Because of that and the fact that every knight was healed, he stayed in place till time ran normally again.

„AAAAHHHHH...... FUCK! What is that...? AHA! It was you!" The human said to Yamato.

„Of course I was it! Did you expect something different?" Yamato answered with a smirk.

„Well, well... It looks like you can manipulate time, then. And what now? Have you already run out of mana, or do you want to quit?“

„PAH! Guess again!“

„No? Then come and face me and end like each of your knights did."

„Why do you think that I would end up like them, HÄH?“

„TTTTSSSSSS..... Still the same ignorant....... Stop playing it cool!" The human suddenly said, letting Yamato get stunned for some seconds. Then he said.

„Now I remember you! You were that human that I fought on the first school day last year."

„Yeah. That was me, and now I will pay you back for what you did to me. PREPARE YOURSELF!" The human shouted and attacked.

Yamato moved himself into a defensive position, and once the human was close, he moved his blade upwards to protect himself.

The blade of the Human hit the Sheath of Yamato's Blade and was moved upwards by the impact. Next, Yamato hammered his blade into the stomach of the human, and then he screamed while he gave him another hard kick.

„GET BACK TO YOUR PLACE!“

The Human flew backwards again and landed on his last landing spot. Once landed, Yamato shouted over to him.

"HAS NOBODY TAUGHT YOU SOME MANNERS? HAS NOBODY TOLD YOU THAT A SWORDFIGHT IS A FAIR AND HONORABLE FIGHT? IF NOT, THEN YOU KNOW NOW!“

Yamato then took his blade in both of his paws, and then he said lowly to the blade.

„Please!!! Grant me your strength to protect the weak. Please grant me your strength to give my enemy a lesson. Please... grant me... your strength to... protect... the one I love."

He then began to drag the blade out of its protection, and while he did it, he began to change.

First, there was only a white light to be seen on his body, but the more he dragged out the blade, the more his body was filled in with the white light.

It became so bright that everyone had to cover their eyes to not get blinded, but the light quickly faded, and everyone could open their eyes again.

Once Natascha did that, she couldn't believe her eyes and did some quick rubbings on them to really make sure that she wasn't dreaming. Right in front of her was another knight standing, but his armor was different from the others.

The helmet had a crown on it. The body armor was looking light-made, but on his shoulders were sharp prongs coming out, and he had a long red cloak on his back.

"Y.... Yamato..... Is that... really you? A... Are you really…?" She managed to stumble out.

„Yes. It's me. I´m sorry that I never told you that I´m... well... King Arthur." He answered while he moved himself into a more comfortable position.

"And... this blade... is it really... Excalibur? The Sword of Odin“?

„Sure.“

„C.... Can I.... See it? “

„No.... Not now. Gawain! COME OVER HERE AND TAKE HER AWAY!" Yamato said and shouted over to his knights.

Next, Gawain appeared close to Natascha, but she didn't want to go away and said to Yamato,.

„Please.... I know it is dangerous, but....... NNNNNNGGGGGGHHHHHH!“

Yamato had cut her by turning in place and giving her a light but placed fist strike into her stomach, which let her fade away immediately.

She collapsed into his arms, and he then handed her over to Gawain while he said,.

„Take her to safety and evacuate the city.“

Gawain took her in his hands while he asked back.

„Do you think that you ...“ Yamato cut him off with a more serious voice.

„Stop asking and go.“

"UUUUHHHH....... Yes, My Lord."

Gawain then began to fly together with Natascha on his shoulder.

Halfway to the other Knights, he had to stop because the Human attacked them.

„WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?“ The human shouted and raised his blade high only to let it drop down a second later to strike.

* CLASH * A metallic impact sound was heard for a second.

Yamato had blocked the Human Blade with his own, and now they were staying blade on blade while he said,.

„I´m your enemy.“

He then pushed the human back so far that Gawain could set on his flight.

Only a few seconds later he reached the other knights, and once he reached them, he said,.

„We are ordered to bring her away, and we should evacuate the city.“

Each knight did a quick yes nod, and then they started to run towards the city.

The sword battle between the human and Yamato began once the knights had left.

First it was only something like banter, but the more time the fight took, the more it became intense.

After 5 minutes, they heard some alarm sirens running through the entire town, and shortly after, they heard a voice saying over some speakers.

„Evacuation Alarm! Evacuation Alarm! This is not a drill! Evacuate the city immediately! I repeat! Evacuation Alarm! Evacuation Alarm! This is not a drill! Evacuate the city immediately!"

Luckily, they had trained for that situation all year together with the people, and everybody followed the instructions.

Outside of the city was a plateau standing on a high hill, and there the people went. Even if some of them hated to go because it had already come late and they wanted to go to bed.

Once everyone was there, Victor spoke to them to calm down the situation.

„Please, everyone. I know that it is late, but we had no other choice. We had to evacuate the city because... the Black Bahamut will return shortly."

Everyone became silent from one second to another because each one knew what that meant, or at least the adult once did.

"What is the black Bahamut Mama?" A little child asked his mother, and she answered.

„Nothing that you should know. Come. Let us play something."

Meanwhile in the park

The fight between Yamato and the human had reached its highest level till now.

They crossed their blades, and each time they did, a shockwave flew away from them.

„Why do you not give up...? PANT... I'm far better than you!" The human said, In a short break. Breathing hardly.

„Me? Give up? Why should I? I'm not even warmed up yet." Yamato answered, showing no signs of breathlessness.

That was no wonder. He had only parried till now, while the human had always attacked with full strength.

„YOU! I KILL YOU!“

The fight went on, but now it became different because Yamato became sick of it. That was why he began to attack and pushed the human into a defensive position.

„COME ON! WAS THAT ALL YOU COULD DO?" Yamato shouted while he attacked, letting the human make a big mistake.

"NO!" It screamed back and tried to counter, but that was what Yamato had wanted.

He dodged the attack by doing a side step, and then he let his blade fly directly into the human's body. Leaving a long and bloody line on it.

The human then broke in, and Yamato wanted to give it the crushing blow, but then he got distracted by a call from the side.

A bit earlier at Hillside

Natascha had woken up, and now she was acting madly around.

„How could he do that? Why did you let it happen? I wanted to help and stop him!“

*SLAP * Victor had slapped her to silence her. Once done, he said straight into her face.

„You know why he did that. He loves you more than his entire life, which he would gladly give to and for you. And if he hadn't done what he did, you would have thrown yourself into the fight and surely gotten hurt or even killed, like the last females of the Kings did."

She broke down to her knees, and some tears began to fill her eyes.

„He wants to end this madness forever, but that is only possible if you are not there to give your blood to open the seal. He......"

Victor then closed his eyes and looked away while he said,.

"..... He wants to give his blood instead of yours."

Her heart stopped at that moment while everything inside her said only one thing. „NO.“

At that moment she heard a voice inside of her head saying something that she had already forgotten over time.

"Who are you?" She heard and answered lowly.

„A Fool.“

"What do you want?"

„Help.“

„Who do you want to save?“

„Yamato.“

Some kind of picture formed in front of her. Or, better said, something like a gate.

„Who do you want to save?“

„My beloved Yamato.“

The Gate became clearer for her, but somehow no one else was able to see it.

„SAY IT! WHO IS THE ONE THAT YOUR HEART BELONGS TO?"

„MY MATE YAMATO!“ She screamed out, giving everyone a shock.

The gate was now sharp in her view, and she could see Yamato standing next to the human. Before she could even think, she moved out a paw and touched the gate, only to disappear in the next second.

Victor saw that she began to vanish and shouted out before she was gone.

"NO! WAIT !"
