A mewtwo Story Chapter 7
#7 of A Mewtwo Story
Chapter 7
Tag along
Both Mewtwo and molly heard the implosion of the facility. Mewtwo used his mind to
sense the area in the direction of the sound. He felt multiple minds in agony, as well as
anger and sadness. There were still people in that building when it went down. He then
looked back to Molly, who was now sitting against the gravestone with her head in her
arms. There was indeed a lot of distressing emotions flowing through the area. It was
almost more than Mewtwo could bear.
"What are you going to do now Molly?"
Molly lifted her head in her arms and stared up at Mewtwo.
"Why should you care? Didn't you defect from the cause of team Rocket?"
"It seems to me that you have as well. I was only wondering what you were going to do
now that you were no longer with Team Rocket."
Molly looked away from Mewtwo. She grabbed a blade of grass and began to crunch it in
her hands.
"I was going to try to continue on with my Pokémon. But they are both dead. Cassidy's
Pokémon Drowsee saw to the death of my Mr. Mime and I lost Golem here."
Mewtwo sat down beside her, wondering how he could cheer her up. Then it came to
him. He remembered what Joy had said about the way Chansey had given him a hug;
saying that such behavior was only displayed around humans. Mewtwo placed his hands
on her and hugged her close. This startled molly, but only briefly she then was confused
by Mewtwo's behavior, but she disregarded it and hugged him back.
She started to cry again. Mewtwo held her and he felt something hit his shoulder. He
touched it and it was like water.
Molly wiped her eyes.
"Oh, sorry, I was crying...my tears fell on you."
"Tears?"
"Yeah, they appear when we cry. Haven't you ever cried before?"
Mewtwo shook his head "not like that...I know this emotion you feel, but all I feel is the
pain. I haven't been alive very long and I only know what I have learned and have been
taught."
"What made you leave?"
Mewtwo looked back in the direction of the Facility.
"My father told me to leave saying that I couldn't come back till I killed Red. But when I
questioned why he wanted me to kill him he became angry and hurt me.
Molly got up and dusted off her Blazer Jacket with a large red "R" on it a look reminding
all who would look upon her the profession of which she pursued; she then looked into
the nearby river to attempt to use it as a mirror.
"God I look like shit." She said as she straightened her black hair. She then turned around
and looked Mewtwo up and down.
"So you are the secret weapon my Ex boss was working on. Quite a tall Pokémon you
are. I think he probably didn't even like the idea that you were taller than him. He hated
looking up to anyone."
Mewtwo looked towards the now smoldering facility once more.
"You were there...You were one of the rocket members who tended to me after my battle
with the Zapdos."
Molly Nodded and smiled. "I have always wanted to be one of the Pokémon Trainers at
the Facility, but all I could ever amount to was a lowly grunt. But then the old man,
Thaddeus asked me if I wanted to be one of the trainers in charge of you, so Without
hesitation I said yes, But I don't know if I will ever know why he wanted me among all
the others he could have picked.
Mewtwo suddenly felt a presence. It was a hostile one, and not familiar.
"Somebody is coming..."
Sure enough a figure stepped out from the trees. Molly recognized him immediately. It
was Butch. She was unaware of the fact that she had been followed. His rocket uniform
looked battered and burnt. And a bleeding wound was coming from his head where she
had knocked him with the fire extinguisher.
"Finally caught up to you, you Fucking Bitch...Nobody gets away from Butch, and
Cassidy, and you are going to pay for killing my partner!"
Butch raised a pistol and aimed it at molly. "You both are also going to pay for frying my
Pokémon in that Facility!
Molly stepped back
"Some trainer you are leaving your Pokémon behind...I hope they survive to piss on your
grave!"
Mewtwo felt Butch's anger elevating.
"Molly I don't think it is smart to say things like that to him...I feel him getting very
angry."
Butch turned his aim to the Mewtwo. "Get out of my head you freak! You go first!"
Butch pulled the trigger and the bullet hit Mewtwo in his arm. Mewtwo fell back and a
shrill squeak could be heard coming from his mouth. Another shot was fired and grazed
his cheek. The third bullet flew directly for his head, but stopped in mid flight and stayed
perfectly still in front of his head.
Molly ran to Mewtwo attempting to shield him form the gunfire, but it was no longer
needed. Mewtwo got up. The pain he felt in his arm was suppressed, as his eyes started to
glow a sinister pupil-less blue. The next bullet fired stopped short in front of molly and
hit the ground.
The bleeding wound that was in Mewtwo's arm suddenly spat out a bullet, and then the
wound stopped bleeding. It was still there but the blood flowed normally as the wound
began to be patched by Mewtwo's Psychic powers. Mewtwo got up and there were
electrical tendrils flying across his entire body.
Mewtwo put one hand up and looked on butch with anger in his heart and concentration
in his face.
Butch fired at Mewtwo and molly until his clip was empty. Every bullet fell to the ground
in front of Mewtwo. As Butch began to reload he did not notice that tiny pebbles and dirt
started to rise in a circle around him. Then as he raised the gun up to fire again, he lost
control of his hand. The pistol was wrenched from his hand and was slowly crushed.
Butch began to struggle, but it was fruitless as suddenly he felt every bone in his hand
fracture in multiple places as if it had been crushed by a sledgehammer.
His hand started to make several very unhealthy noises as it started to get compressed
into a small pulp. Molly turned her head away from what she started to see next as
Butches whole body began to be crushed like a tin can under the tire of a car. Butches
Screams of pain turned into grotesque gurgling noises as the Rocket member was reduced
to the size of a small baseball sized clump flesh and clothes floating in mid air. All the
blood was wrung out of the small, floating mass like a wet dish rag, which fell to the
ground with a sickening bloody splash.
The clump of compressed flesh fell to the ground and stayed tightly compacted.
Molly clung to Mewtwo and begged him to stop, and it was enough to get Mewtwo's
defensive rage instincts shut down, and his eyes went back to normal. He came back to
sanity as he slumped over and fell to the ground, again taxing his power to their limits.

"That monster" Red said to himself. "That disgusting criminal slime, and after I spared
his life!"
Red fell to his knees. Red's Espeon came over and nuzzled the frazzled trainer. Red took
out a Pokémon treat and handed it to the Espeon, who quickly ate it. He remembered that
he needed to treat his Charizard's wing.
"I'm out of potions. I guess it's time for me to head to Cinnabar city." As red walked
back to where Mewtwo and Molly were, he got a glimpse of footsteps that were not his
own.
He ran back to the camp site and found the end of the footsteps ended in a puddle of
blood, and a chunk of gun metal. Looking up he saw Molly cradling Mewtwo's head in
her lap.
Red approached her and Molly looked up to Red.
"What happened here?" asked Red.
Molly stroked Mewtwo's head and looked in the direction of the blood puddle. "That is
all that's left of Butch; Giovanni's right hand man. He tried to kill me, and Mewtwo
saved me from him."
Red looked down at the sleeping Pokémon. Again a slight amount of fear erupted inside
of Red. Never before has a Pokémon been capable of such power. This creature almost
has the powers of an ancient legendary he thought. Powers never meant to be harnessed
by man or Pokémon. He wondered what Giovanni had found. There were so many
questions and no answers.
Red reached in his backpack and pulled out a small yellow diamond-shaped crystal. He
then cracked it open and threw it at Mewtwo. The chemicals contained in the crystal
started to revitalize him, and soon Mewtwo stirred.
"There, that's better. Revives are expensive, but no Trainer should be without a couple."
Mewtwo looked up at Red. He then looked away from him. He had the look of shame.
"That's it Mewtwo, First I'm taking you to Bill. Then I think it would be wise if I showed
you to Professor Oak. He's the leading authority on all things Pokémon. His hometown is
my hometown. "
"Pallet town is a long way away form here Red." Said Molly.
Red chuckled. "I guess everybody around here knows about me. But don't worry; all I
have to do is have my Charizard use fly... oh..." Red looked down. "Well it might be a
good idea to get to a Pokémon center first. And also, what are you going to do Molly?"
Molly looked to Mewtwo. And for some reason there was something in his eyes that she
could not figure out the meaning of. "I was assigned as one of the three in direct charge
of Mewtwo. Thought I doubt I could do a better job than you could Red being who you
are. So may I request something of you?"
"Let me guess, you want to tag along? I gotta warn you I am never in one place too long,
and do not really call any one city my home."
"Well let me see...My organization wants me dead, I have no family, my Pokémon are
dead, and the only thing I ever wanted to be was a trainer. Tagging along with a trainer
great as you is actually a dream come true, so whatever road you travel, I wish to take it
as well."
Red smiled, and looked at Mewtwo again. "You fit to travel or do you need a break in the
ball I picked out for you?"
Mewtwo disliked the idea of being contained in a ball that could fit in a human's pocket.
But at the same time he really just wanted to have a nice place to rest alone.
"Yes Red, go ahead and let me rest."
This pleased Red, as Mewtwo was going to make all his other Pokémon quite jealous.
Having such an elegant and powerful creature among his party, but he would have to log
onto a PC to change him out for one of his other six, as it was a rule that only six could
be officially carried in the personal dimensional containment unit that all Trainers carry
to make sure there was no instability.
Mewtwo vanished into the ball, and found he was floating quickly off to sleep brought on
by the PC storage system's safety protocols.
