This is my second story that I have chosen to post. It is based off a re-occurring dream that I have, so don't expect it to be great. I can assure you though that all of the science in it is well founded and completely possible to implement if only I could get a research grant and access to a lab... ((Highly unlikely as that is...)) I don't have an editor for this one, so don't expect an epic here. I just wanted to get this down so that I can see where it will go as my dream progresses. Yes, I have liner dreams, hard as it is to believe. I plan to fix it and re-posting as I think of ways to make it better, so please pm me with an idea to make it better, but I don't need it in the form of a review. If you like it, rate and review please. If not, oh well...

Disclaimer: I own all the characters in this story so no copywriting please. Feel free to illustrate if you get the bug to do it. If you can't read this because of age laws or if it is illegal to read a story containing graphic descriptions of underage sex between two males, then disregard this story in it's entirety. In fact, don't even read it. If not, then have fun and enjoy it. Remember, it's mine and I didn't have help, so it's not an epic.

Chapter 1: Murphy was an optimist. ((Pm me and I'll tell you what he said.))

I sat in my car panting, my hands gripping the wheel so tight that my knuckles were white. My watch dug into my wrist slightly as my arm tensed up while the two black bands on each wrist still hung loosely. The bus that had forced me off the road was still swerving all over the place, the drivers exploded head pouring out the open window. My white t-shirt was plastered to my chest with sweat, my zip front dark blue hoody not helping to cool me off in the least.

I was supposed to be at a friend's house nearly a half hour ago, but I was running late due to a flat tire and the fact that my transmission was out of fluid again. I always hated that about my car since the day I had bought it from my grandparents. "The transmission leaks a little, but it's still a good car." I remembered those words as I was dumping what had to be the thirtieth bottle of fluid into it this year. "Thanks gramps..." I muttered as I shoved the dipstick back down the hole and closed the hood, wiping what had spilled on my hands onto my pants.

The car had killed two deer at sixty-five miles per hour, then still drove to work and home before it anyone looked at it seriously, let alone worked on. I had replaced the hood, quarter-panel, and headlight to make the outside look better, but they were of a different color. I also replaced the a/c condenser, a condenser line, and a few other things to make it work. That was just the tip of the iceberg, but I'll just leave that out so I don't bore you to death.

Now I had what looked like a thick splatter of juice and grey jello across my windshield and hood and I knew that it would probably never come off completely A weird thing to think about when you just saw somebody's head explode I know, but I wasn't thinking strait at the time. I knew what it was even before the bus started to swerve because I had seen where it came from.

There was no reason to think there was anything wrong when I saw the man standing next to the driver, knowing that most field trips had chaperones, but I didn't expect it when the man brought a gun up and blew the driver's head apart. I could hear screams from the kids on the bus even over the wind and the sound of the tires on the road. I didn't have time to think about it as the bus started to turn in my direction, the killer grabbing the wheel as the bus began to swerve.

I swerved into the ditch to avoid being hit, and now I was sitting in park trying to decide out what to do. I couldn't really figure out what was going on, but I was going to find out. I dropped my car into gear and drove back onto the road before flooring it, the three point eight liter engine under the hood humming contently as it got up to seventy-five.

It didn't take long before I saw the bus again, it's swerving stopped as it lumbered down the road at the speed limit. I slowed down so I could keep it in view without being noticed as I recalled the story I had read in the paper that morning.

"Local students missing, Police baffled at disappearances." I couldn't really believe that twenty students could just disappear without a trace so easily, and now I realized that they hadn't. They'd been kidnapped, and I had just witnessed the second batch being taken.

I considered my options as best I could, deciding that following them was the only way that I could help. If I just went to the police, then they wouldn't know where to look for the bus, and it would be pointless. If I followed them, I could remember where they were and lead the police there.

It wasn't long before I watched them turn onto what I had assumed was an abandoned dirt road because it was poorly maintained and grass was growing high along the edges. I had to be careful not to follow too closely so that they wouldn't see me as I pulled onto the road. My eighty-seven Buick LeSaber wasn't the best vehicle to try and follow with, but I had driven through worse before, so I knew that it would make it fine.

It seemed like forever until I finally caught sight of the bus again before I lost it around a turn in the road. I slowed down slightly, making sure to give them plenty of time while still being able to see if they turned again. I wasn't expecting to have to slam on the brakes to keep from plowing into the back bumper of the yellow behemoth of a bus where it had stopped in the road.

I also didn't expect to be staring down the barrel of a gun as two men walked up and tapped on my window. They were dressed in simple black jumpsuits, a sign that they were organized and not just some idiots taking kids hostage for money. I slowly put the car in park and rolled down the window before turning off the engine. "C-can I help you?" I asked as I tried to smile innocently.

"What the hell do you think you're doing here, boy?" I looked up to the man who shot the second man across from him a quick glance of amusement. "Well, you nearly ran me over when you killed the driver..." I tried to act as innocent and uncaring as I could to get them off balance. I knew right away that psychology was going to be my only weapon for getting out of the situation.

The first man gave another look to the second, this time a questioning one. "How old are you boy?" He asked when he looked back down at me. "I-I'm seventeen." He was obviously surprised by my answer, mostly because it was only ten thirty in the morning on a school day and I wasn't in class. "I'm home schooled..." I explained before he could ask a question.

"Wait here. You try to leave and we'll fill you so full of lead you'll be pissing it." I wanted so bad to come back at him with a smart ass remark, but the barrel of the gun convinced me that telling them that would kill me before I could take a piss was not the best idea.

They walked behind my car so I couldn't hear there conversation, but I could tell it was about me because they waved their hands in my direction a few times as they talked. I started to get even more nervous when they walked back to my window again. "Get out. You're coming for a little ride..."

I could tell that there was no of talking my way out of the situation, so I tried the next best option. "I'll go with you, but I want to bring my car. One of you could ride with me while I follow the bus." They started with the questioning looks again at my answer. I decided that I should stop acting stupid, hopefully getting my way in the proses.

"You obviously are abducting those kids in the bus, and I can't help but want to rescue them. It'll be kind of hard to do that if I don't know where you're taking them, so I have no choice but to follow. I just want to bring my car so it doesn't get messed up sitting out here." They were obviously dumbfounded at my newfound confidence, but relented after a quick bout of glances at each other.

The first motioned to the second to get in before he walked back to the bus. I started my car when the second man climbed in, then followed the bus when it pulled away again. "I hope I have enough gas..." I joked as I looked at the gage, reading that I only had a quarter of a tank left.

It took what seemed like hours before we reached our destination, but it was most likely only about twenty minutes. I pulled up behind the bus when it stopped, about to shut my car down again when the man motioned for me to wait. What I saw next astounded me.

I watched as a fairly large section of the ground began to lift up at an angle. It rose to what I guessed was about fifteen feet high, easily making enough room for the bus to pass into the tunnel it had reviled.

I switched on my lights and followed as the bus pulled into the hole, creeping along while mentally cursing to myself. If we were going underground, then it would be much harder to get out, especially considering that I had no idea what controlled the door that now closed behind me. When we finally reached level ground, I saw that there where three other busses parked down there. Obviously, they had big plans for us if they were willing to take this many people.

I pulled up next to the bus and shut off my engine when it parked and then got out. The second man came around the car and pushed me over to the doors of the bus as they opened, the first man hopping out and walking behind me to block any attempt at escape.

I noticed that there were two more men on the bus. One was obviously the man who took over for the dead driver, and the second was herding the other students off the bus. When they were all off, they directed us to what I recognized were a large set of blast doors, having seen many examples in movies and historical army documentaries I watched with my dad. They slowly began to open as we approached, allowing us to walk through when we got to them. I tried to stay at the back of the pack of kids while we shuffled into a large room, the light from within almost blinding.

When my eyes finally adjusted to the light, I saw that we were in a fairly old facility, judging by the dusty floor and the faded paint that was flecking off the walls. I was too caught up in examining the room to notice that a few other men had shuffled into the room, one of them very different from the others. I turned to look when I heard the gasps from the other students.

"Well, this is definitely a decent bunch of specimens to work with, but there is one more then I had on the list..."

I was in aw as I looked at the man... no, the thing that had spoken. It was obviously a man judging by the gruff voice that he had, but that was the only thing that I could tell for sure about him. He was at least six and a half feet tall, towering over my five foot ten inch frame, with broad shoulders and a well-toned body. That wasn't what had my attention though. What did have me captivated with him was the fact that he didn't look like any man I had ever seen before. He didn't look human at all really.

The man had what appeared to be a panther like head, complete with fur, ears, and a muzzle. I started to shake as I continued to look him over. He was covered from head to toe with a thick black fur that only thinned at his hands, but I was unable to see his chest or most of his legs because he wore a jumpsuit similar to the other men. He also had a tail that was swaying back and forth as he looked us over.

"I want you all to line up against the wall so I can look you over." I was amazed that everyone complied almost instantly, probably out of fear. I couldn't move though, frozen by my fascination with the incredible being. When he saw that I hadn't complied, he walked over to me with an annoyed look, as much of one that his animals face would allow, anyway.

"I said line up, now move it boy!" I could do nothing but gawk as I realized that this... thing was actually talking, to me! I snapped to my senses as he backhanded me, making me stumble back against the wall. "Next time, do what I say or I'll do worse to you...." My fear was only minimal as I tried to understand just what exactly was going on.

"That's the one that followed us here, boss." I looked over to the man who rode in my car as he spoke to the panther man. "He said that he was going to try and rescue the others, so he had no reason to try and escape on his own. We thought it'd be better then just killing him in the middle of the road." The panther man growled at him slightly before he turned back to us.

"You have all been chosen to participate in a little experiment. If you comply and behave, you won't be hurt. If you resist however, you will be punished horribly." That got a few gasps of surprise and a few tears of fear from the girls. I however, wasn't exactly amused. My confidence and arrogance got the better of me as I stepped forward to confront the cat.

"Now just hold on one dam minute!" I started. "You can't hold..." I was cut off by a backhand again, this time knocking me down. When the haze cleared from my eyes, I was looking up at a very angry cat. I was going to try and get up, but he changed my mind with a quick kick to the ribs.

"This is a fine example of what I mean when I say punished..." He continued while he stomped my ribs again. I whimpered in pain for a few seconds because my side screamed in pain, then used the wall for support to push myself to my feet again. I turned around and leaned against it while the cat spoke.

"You have been chosen to participate in an experiment with human gene manipulation. You are going to be used as breeding stock to see if the mutation you will receive will be passed down to your offspring." Even I gasped at this, but quickly started to laugh. That didn't go over well with the panther either.

"Just what the hell is so dam funny?" He asked as he got up in my face to try and scare me. "Your arrogance..." Was my chuckled reply. "You think that these kids are going to breed for you just because you said too? Well, there are a few things that you need to consider first, dumb ass." I gasped as his claws dung into my neck as he quickly grabbed my throat, then coughed when he slowly released his grip. "Just what exactly is it that I need to know, smartass?" He asked when he finally let his hand drop.

When my breathing had clamed enough that I could talk, I continued. "First of all, I doubt that everyone is going to survive the mutation, no matter if you use nanites or a retrovirus. That is going to leave you with either too man males or females." He seemed obviously surprised that I knew anything about the subject as I continued.

"Second of all, you need to realize that most of these kids aren't going to let you force them to bear a child just for your experiments." That didn't seem to bother him nearly as much as the last thing I had to say.

"Thirdly, you have to realize that at least one of the kids here has got to be gay. It's statistically impossible that there isn't at least one." He was obviously enraged by that, but he quickly smiled at me.

"Well, I guess it's a good thing that my henchmen didn't kill you, now isn't it. I could use someone with some smarts to help me in my research. You obviously know something about this, and you'll make an excellent breeder with your confidence."

I couldn't help but laugh at that. I was almost in tears when I finally calmed down, my light gold eyes getting darker with my amusement. The panther's questioning look was all it took to have me laughing again. "Like I said, what will you do when you find out one of us are gay?" He still hadn't figured it out by then, so I thought that I'd give him a little help. "The reason I'm asking is because I'm gay. I'm not going to breed for you because I am not going to fuck a girl."

I wasn't sure how he would react to my statement, but I was amused that he was that stupid. I regretted laughing though when he started to pound his fists into my face. "Does this answer your question you little fag?" That was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.

Chapter 2: The times, they are a changing.

I groaned as I woke up, my head pounding almost as bad as my face was throbbing. It took me a while to realize that I was on some kind of mattress, my head slanted at an obscene angle because of a pillow shoved under it. I slowly pushed myself up onto my elbows to look around. It took me a few seconds before I remembered what had happened, my eyes immediately drawn to the door made out of bars that kept me in what I realized was a cell.

I slowly climbed to my feet and walked over to the door, my legs resisting my every movement like they were still asleep. "Well, it's good to see you're finally awake, fagot." I pushed back from the bars as the panther man stepped into view. I was surprised to say the least that I was still alive, but having him there waiting for me to wake up gave me the creeps.

"What the hell do you want with me? I told you that I'm not going to breed for you." I did my best to act tough through my fear so I wouldn't seem so weak. The cat man just chuckled. "My name is Kokada Inumari. I am the owner of this little facility and you are now my prisoner. You are mine to do with as I see fit." A shiver ran up my spine as his words sunk in.

"I'm of no use to you, so why are you keeping me?" I was trying to figure it out myself, but drawing a big fat blank too what purpose I could possibly serve. "You obviously don't need me for your research with as many people that you already have, so what is it that you could possibly need me for?"

"You aren't the first fagot I've come across. I've decided that you will be a good companion for another that I have here." I immediately became infuriated, my eyes that had retuned to there normal light gold now a dark brown. This asshole was going to give me to someone? "I'll let you two get acquainted..." He muttered while gesturing behind me.

"Father, please..." My jaw dropped as I saw what he was gesturing too. On the bed that I was just laying on, there was another animal man sitting, apparently just woken up.

"Enjoy him son. He is the only one you get. You should take him before I change him tomorrow." I turned back to Kokada as he walked away, my surprise still evident on my face. I turned back to the other boy in the bed behind me, my eyes as wide as saucers while I looked him over.

The boy in the cell with me was not a cat like his father, but judging from his fur and markings, I pegged him for more of a fox. He had a similar animal like head and body of his father, though not nearly as well muscled. His fur was a deep rust red that shined in the light as he moved. He slowly rose to his feet, revealing that he too had a tail, only it was shorter and had much longer fur on it as most fox had. He was also only wearing a simple white t-shirt and slightly tight grey shorts.

"Please, don't be afraid. I'm not going to do anything to you." That wasn't what had me worried, but hearing him say it did clam me slightly. "My name is Koshi. I am very sorry that my father has treated you like he has, but he is very homophobic." The fox walked forward and gently placed his mostly human like hand on my face to examine the damage that was inflicted.

For some reason, I felt at ease with the fox, completely different from the fear I felt around the panther. "My name is Lygger." I said meekly as he gently ran a finger across a small cut on my cheek. "I hope you don't mind my asking, but what the hell is going on here?" Koshi shied away at the question, a look of sadness in his eyes that made me regret the question.

"My father is doing research in gene splicing. That's all I know..." His voice was soft and quiet, pleasing while almost saddening. "He says that it's for the betterment of mankind, and that he will be famous for it."

"Or condemned for it..." I couldn't help but mumble. He shied away further as I kicked myself mentally. I needed his help if I was going to figure out what was going on and escape, and all I was doing was making him feel bad.

"Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean anything about you by that. You seem like a good kid." He smiled slightly at that, maybe even blushing a little under his fur. "It's not your fault that he's like this..." I did a quick glance around the room, noticing that the only window, while not quite big enough for even someone with a small frame like his to fit through, only about five foot six, it still had bars across it. "Besides, he's not exactly giving you the star treatment..."

I couldn't help but feel sorry for the kid, treated like he was, but I had to admit that it could have been worse. "Look, as long as we work together, I think we can get out of here. I can't do it alone, and it looks like maybe you could use a vacation for a few years..." Koshi looked up at me with surprise, his eyes glittering a soft teal. For something that wasn't human, he was actually kind of attractive.

"Why would you want to get me out of here...?" He questioned. "I'm not human, so I wouldn't be able to go anywhere." I couldn't help but chuckle slightly. "I would just be a burden on you cause you'd have to take care of me." He finished.

"That, or I could make you human again..." Koshi cringed away at that. "What's wrong? Don't you want to be human again? There's a chance that I could reverse the mutation so you can have a life outside of here."

Koshi looked like he had just been shot in the gut. I couldn't understand why until I heard the door unlatch behind me. I spun around to see Kokada enter the cell. I knew that I was not going to enjoy whatever happened next, but there was no way to avoid it.

"I knew that there was a reason that I kept you alive other than a play thing for Koshi..." I felt my anger rising again as he looked past me to his son. "If you knew enough to tell that I had mutated myself, I figured that you must know enough to be able to do it yourself. Now all I have to do is find something to dangle over your head so that I can force you to help me."

I hadn't expected to hit Kokada, but I was glad I did. I watched as my fist subconsciously came up and made contact with the side of his muzzle ,knocking him down. "You don't have anything to hold over my head asshole, so don't even try. I'll never help you do this to people."

Kokada wiped a small bit of blood off his maw before standing up again. "You'll pay for that you little shit." I didn't really care what he intended to do to me. I would have rather been dead than help him take away peoples children and turn them into... whatever the hell he was.

"Father, please...don't hurt him. You gave him to me, remember. You said I could have him." I was surprised that Koshi would be defending me so readily even though he had just met me. "I told you that you could have him. I never said that he was yours to keep." I could see that Kokada was grinning like an ass to his son behind me.

"WOULD YOU QUIT TALKING ABOUT ME LIKE I'M NOT HERE?!" I was more than a little angry that they were talking about me as if I were a commodity, but I was more angry that they were planning what was going to happen to me. "For your information Kokada, I'm not going to let you do anything to me regardless of weather I'm your son's plaything or not."

Kokada laughed as he grabbed me by the throat again and pulled me so that we were nose to muzzle. "You don't have a choice little one..." I pounded on his arm and chest as hard as I could as he choked me into unconsciousness again, my arms dropping to my side as I drifted off.

"Father! Please don't do this! You don't need him for your research. You already know that your method works fine..." Unfortunately for me, his please fell on deaf ears. Kokada carried me down to his lab, my limp body cradled in his arms as he walked.

When I awoke, my head was pounding anew. I tried to rub it, but found that I couldn't move my arms. A quick check told me that my arms, my legs, and my neck were strapped down on what I assumed was a table by the fact that it was not cushioned in the least. "Being choked out gives you one hell of a headache, huh?" I slowly opened my eyes, groaning as a needle pierced my arm. "Unfortunately for you, I'm going to give you a dose of my new batch of mutation serum. I can't give you any pain killers, so it's going to be excruciatingly painful."

I looked over to Kokada who was sporting a large grin. He was obviously enjoying this a little too much. I didn't have time to think about it too much though, as a strong burning sensation was crawling up my right arm. It hurt like hell, but I had been through much worse, so it didn't bother me too much.

"How the hell are you able to stand this?" Kokada was staring at me with an obvious question that had me grinning, even though the pain was getting much worse. "This is nothing...compared to...what I go through...when my shoulder gets squeezed hard." I was grunting at the pan now, but had yet to start screaming. I knew that I would eventually because the pain was steadily getting worse.

"I'll remember that little one, but for now I need to make sure you survive the mutation." My eyes widened at that statement. He really didn't know if it would kill me or not? If he didn't, then I was in big trouble. "You shouldn't try to fight the urge to scream. It just makes the pain worse..."

He was right, as I soon found out. My arm felt like it was on fire, literally. The only time that I had ever experienced a pain like that was when I had a gel candle explode in my hands. ((They burn a hell of a lot hotter than any wax candle you have ever seen, trust me kiddies. I had third degree burns on my hands for weeks after that, and I still have a strong urge to avoid them.))

Now I was remembering exactly what it felt like, only up my entire arm and across my chest. I was doing fine fighting the pain of the burning, but then my bones started to crack and shift into a new form, and that's when I started to scream. "Why is it that they always try to act tuff until the shifting starts?" I cursed as best I could at Kokada between my screams of anguish. I was sure that someone outside the compound would have heard me if they listened hard enough.

When the pain finally subsided, I was panting, on the verge of passing out again. Kokada came over to me and started babbling as he checked me over. "It worked out better than I could have hoped. The serum mutated you all at once, instead of in increments. This is a major advancement!" Kokada quickly started to stick me with more needles, drawing blood here, injecting strange things there. He leaned over me as he stuck a final needle into my arm, whispering into my ear.

"You need to sleep and let your body adjust to the change. I don't know what the after affects will be, but the less you move for the first few hours, the better."

I couldn't help but try to hit him again as I drifted off. I wasn't sure, but it felt like the strap on my wrist broke, but my arm just flailed wildly instead of hitting him before dropping to my chest as I passed out again.
