"Hi there, girls." Tenchi waved to the two jaranyxes sitting and having their morning meals, both of them waving back to her before resuming their previous activity. Tenchi gave a smile that both of them had begun to tolerate each others' company, which had not been possible to guess when they had first arrived to the castle. Taking her time to look through the books, she was pushing a few aside to put back the one she had previously read, forcing it into the open slot that she had made, but found it rather hard to get in there, "Come on now, go in there."
Giving the book a hard push, she soon had the bookshelf tilting backwards and then coming forward quickly, her reflexes quickly making her catch the bookshelf and pushing it back up again, but not without a book hitting her right on the head and landing on the floor, "Ow. That was not nice of you." Leaning over to pick the book up, Tenchi noticed that the book did not look like the rest. Instead of the normal scarlet red or navy blue that usually were used, this one was actually viridian green, "What is this?"
Flipping it over to check the title, Tenchi's curiosity was peeked, "Experiment 001-Alpha Draconis Primus Strain. Sounds like she tried to create some kind of super being." Tenchi opened up the first page and only read the first part before her eyes widened and as both jaranyxes looked confused, Tenchi stormed out the lab and towards the grand hall, roaring out loudly in anger, "Family meeting. Now!"
In just the span of two minutes, the entire family had gathered, most yawning from being woken up by the rather loud roar. Sasha was the first one to ask, "Okay, we are here. Who has died?" Tenchi lifted the book and Sasha quickly lowered the earfins as she realized what it was, "Oh no." Tenchi growled, "I found this book in the lab and I can not believe what has been hidden from me!" Most looked confused, but Sasha was quickly moving over and held out her hand to Tenchi, "Give me the book, now." Tenchi's response was a punch striking Sasha right in solar plexus, making her fly back a short distance and gasping for air, "Stay away from me!"
Before anyone could question Tenchi's action, she had already opened the book and began to read, "Entry one. The genetic sequence has been produced and the host has been chosen. Plans to cause a chemically induced heat which will lead to the client getting herself a rough time, producing the strongest possible offspring." Everyone was silent as Tenchi kept on reading, "Entry two. The Primus Strain has been implemented and the client, one Elizabeth Blackheart, has been impregnated with the product from Azula Snowheart. Still haven't received payment for job."
Everyone's eyes began to grow wider and Azula mostly had her eyes widened in pure shock as Tenchi kept on reading, "Entry three. Its been 3 years since the experiment started, but still I haven't received the payment." She then added in, "Entry four. Amendment payment received in the form of 5 million Swedish crowns, although subject's egg was apparently stolen before I was even born. Time manipulation was clearly used by the client, yet client is happy. Draconian Elite presence tripled in Russia, Ukraine and Northern Europe, likely cause subject is in this area."
The eyes all turned to Sasha now and Tenchi flipped over to the next page, "Entry five. Five years after experiment starts, Peridot meets one Tenchi Arizonia during her heat and becomes pregnant. 5 years and 6 months after the start of the experiment, Tenchi is attacked and disfigured by Elizabeth Blackheart. DNA test during replacement of lost right eye confirms Tenchi is 001-Alpha Draconis Primus Strain. Elizabeth found to have lied about wanting a daughter, instead wanting the power of a prime dragon. Damage to subject is my deepest regret. Once healed, will commence training Tenchi, my prime of prime daughters, to eradicate Draconian Elite and Elizabeth. The girl is strong beyond her years. Probability of success in reforming Frostclaw Tribe is 150.5%. Sense of justice is beyond reproach. Will confide the truth to her once that cunt Elizabeth lays in a grave designed to prevent resurrection. End logs."
Sasha was looking pale as all this was brought up, but she was soon snapped out of it when Tenchi hit her in the face with the book as Tenchi cried out, "So I am nothing but a puppet to you? An experiment for you to bend as you wish?! Has my whole life been a lie?" Sasha was about to answer, but Tenchi quickly punched her gut again, causing her to bend over in pain before Peridot walked over, "Mom? How could you?!" Sasha cried out as Peridot had brought out her chain whip and struck her over the back, but the pain was not over as now everyone present gave Sasha a beating of their own for all this.
Tenchi and Peridot had given her the most painful beatings, but when no one had watched, Tenchi had run off crying, something Peridot noticed when she had no reply coming from her wife, her extrasensory for aura and life energy itself making her capable of picking up the traces left by Tenchi. Rushing off to catch up to Tenchi, she turned around to look a final time just in time to see Sasha being sent through the floor by Alex, the entirely castle shaking from the many impacts. Heading to her room to pick up a portal device, Peridot quickly attempted to sense the location of Tenchi before taking a wild guess on what she thought.
Meanwhile, in the outskirts of Chernobyl, Tenchi was leaning against a cave wall that she had previously used as a hiding place back when she was hunted, but now it served as her hopeful final resting place, "How could she? I was happy and had a wonderful family. Why did she have to write a book like that to reveal my past? It was all a lie. I am just a freak!" Tenchi began to cry as she covered her face, feeling the polluted air filling her lungs little by little. "I will never go back. I will die here where no one can find me. I will die unwanted by anyone."
It was then that she heard someone coming closer and soon that familiar voice of Peridot could be heard, "No, you are wanted by someone. You are wanted by me and our kids. And also by our family." Tenchi looked at Peridot and cries. "Peri, do not bother with me. Go home and take care of the kids. I am just a freak." Peridot shook her head before taking a seat near Tenchi, "No, I am not going back without you, Ten-Ten. I do not care about your past, I only care about the one I fell in love with. So what if you were created through science? Lyra was created through science too and she knows that and just lives her life. Why can't you do the same?"
Tenchi began to cry, "Because she had no plans to even come and get me away, that is what! She only cared for popularity and science. I am not coming back. I will die here! Now go home and take care of our kids. They do not wanna have a freak as their..." Peridot quickly silenced Tenchi with a kiss before nodding, "Okay then, Ten-Ten. I can see your mind is made up already. But I stand with what I said before." Peridot reached into the pocket of her jacket and soon brought out a grenade. "I am not going home without you. If you wanna die, then I go with you. I cannot live without you." Tenchi looked as Peridot pulled the safety pin on the grenade and soon found herself pulled close to her as Tenchi saw that sincerity in the eyes of her wife. Quickly pulling away and grabbing the grenade, she threw it out into the wasteland before the sound of an explosion was heard.
Looking each other in the eyes, Tenchi was beginning to cry, "I am the luckiest freak in the world." Peridot slapped Tenchi's cheek hard, "No, you are the luckiest dragoness in the world. You may be made in a lab by a stupid scientist who happens to be the one who made you into what you are today, but you are still a proud dragoness. Now, lets go home." Tenchi was shocked by the slap, but she did not get mad at Peridot, because she had a point. Bringing out the device, Peridot opened up a portal for them both back to the castle, but the portal looked nothing like what she had left, "What is this?!?"
Going through the portal back to the castle, they were seeing most of the family laying on the ground semi-conscious. Running over to Alex, they helped him up, "What happened?" Alex looked at them both and gasped out, "She has lost it! Her own grief has manifested and taken control of her." Tenchi shook him hard, "Who? WHO?!" Alex whimpered and pointed out to a barren field, "Sasha." Tenchi and Peridot looked in the direction he was pointing, seeing Sasha standing against a stone with a ritual symbol against her back, six daggers already pierced into her eyes, hands and legs as she was chanting a dark ritual. Moving closer to her quickly, both Peridot and Tenchi grabbed onto the last dagger, Sasha ceasing her chanting for a moment, "Stop... I will not allow you to interfere with my duty."
Peridot cried, "Mom! Wake up! I brought Tenchi back. All is okay." Sasha began to cry bloody tears, "Lies! My sins are never to be forgiven! I have soiled the reputation of the family. I do not deserve to live for it!" Tenchi stepped closer before nodding, "Indeed, you do not deserve to live for it. But you have to. You always taught me to believe in my strength. Now it is time for you to believe in your own strength." Tenchi nodded to Peridot, who let the dagger go before Tenchi took a more solid hold of it and soon growled out, "After all, you cannot surrender now or you will forever abandon a world that you swore to defend!" Tenchi's strength increased and soon she threw the dagger into the wall behind herself and she drew her own sword before Sasha gasped out and most of the family watched in shock as Tenchi had swung her katana three times, each swing cutting the daggers apart before they fell to the ground and green blood squirted out of the wounds left on her body.
As the silence filled the air, Tenchi soon spoke up, "A wise teacher once told me. Some times you got to hurt someone to save them." Sasha slowly slumped onto the ground before Peridot began to heal her up as the rest of the family just watched this. Tenchi looked at Alex who gave her a thumb up before she looked across the rest of the family and smiled, "Peri, you were right. I am not a freak, I am just special." Peridot nodded with a smile, "Exactly. Next time you ever think about calling yourself a freak, I will give you a slap on the cheek again." Tenchi growled a little and leaned down to bite Peridot on the back of the neck, "That one I will have to be compensated for later." Peridot just giggled and winked, "Bedroom?" Tenchi nodded, "Bedroom." As the sun stood at its highest in the sky, the darkness that once clouded the sky was blown away by the sun's rays finally warming the ground, revealing a shadow hiding behind a tree, "Soon you will lose the war, Prime of the Frostclaws." No one did notice as the shadow disappeared like a ghost to pure sunlight.
The End.
