War on Freddy's Chapter 5

Story by JasonVUK on SoFurry

This chapter was particular hard for me for a few reasons;

1: I wanted it to be tense and scary like an old slasher movie

and

B: I wanted the action to be good and people to be grossed out by the gore

Did I succeed?

“God damn it, what the hell happened?” Rufus demanded angrily.

Rufus and his boys had regrouped at the security office after dealing with the animatronics, the wolf had been taken down but the rest were hidden away. While the other three had turned away and ran the wolf had fought back; animatronics weren’t supposed to attack humans, it was against their programming.

“The damn Wolf just kept coming boss, it didn’t give no flying fuck, and just body slammed into Carlos.” Adrian told him as he looked at their wounded member.

None of them were doctors, or medics, but the problem was obvious, Carlos had nearly been crushed under an incredibly heavy rampaging animatronic.

“Alright, alright.” Rufus calmed down and turned towards Matthew, “you’re the science guy Matt, what you make of this?” he asked as he pointed to the tablet.

“Tablet connected to the cameras, we can keep an eye on them.” He said as he used the tablet to flick through the cameras, the Pirate’s Cove camera wasn’t sending any feed due to the chaos that ensured in the Cove. “I can’t see them right now, though we know where they went” he paused and switched the tablet to a different setting and began to rewind the footage, “give me some time and I’ll get a better idea of where they are exactly.”

“Alright,” Rufus replied before turning to the others, “I want these fucking things destroyed, you boys get me?” he received several nods in reply, “we fuck ‘em up, then I say we burn this place down.”

“The duck is somewhere in the kitchen boss.” Trevor spoke up as he slung his Uzi 9mm over his shoulder by the strap. “You got anymore grenades boss?”

Rufus shook his head, “only had the one.” He looked towards Matthew, “show me the kitchen,” it took a few seconds but the kitchen was brought up on screen, “alright the duck has got to be in there somewhere, Lucan…” he turned his attention to a pale faced, lanky man, “take Carlos’ shotgun, take a radio and go with Trevor and Adrian, find that duck and waste it!” he ordered.

The lanky man pulled down his balaclava and picked up the automatic shotgun and some spare ammunition, Trevor reloaded his Ak-47 rifle and the pair followed Adrian out of the security room and down to the kitchen. The old style radios were needed as with the wires cut and the signal jammer, these were the only forms of long range communication that would work. Cue ball and his boss man had thought of everything.

“The bear is somewhere in the parts and services area, went in through Pirates Cove.” Matthew spoke up as he looked through the camera feed.

Rufus turned his attention to his other boys, “Alright then, Ricky, Antonio, Sam, you three deal with the bear.”

The three men checked their individual weapons, grabbed some of the old styled radios, then nodded to Rufus.

“Well get goin’!” he ordered and the three men went out of the room. “How long should it take to find the bunny?” he asked as he looked to Matthew.

“Not long.” He replied.

An exposed optical sensor illuminated a deep blood red.

Three figures converged on Pirates Cove.

“Alright listen, if we all go one way, the bear’ll get out, so Antonio you go through the other door on the stage, and me and Ricky will go this way, capiche?” Sam told him.

“Yeah, kay.” The larger man replied and ran towards the stage with the shotgun in hands.

“Come on, let’s go.” Ricky knocked Sam’s arm and they pair stepped inside, they paused momentarily to assess the damage to the area. A lot of it was black and burnt, from the grenade explosion. On the floor lay the large figure of the wolf animatronic, fur suit smouldering and parts of the metal endoskeleton exposed for all to see, the smell of burnt flesh in the air.

“Fuckin’ ugly thing.” Ricky scowled as he and Sam moved quickly towards the far door.

The door opened with ease, Sam and Ricky stepped through with Sam taking point, the cut-down double barrelled shotgun in his hands, raised high as he aimed down the middle of the barrels, Ricky was behind him, short chunky revolver in hand.

The pair remained quiet as they walked further into the parts and services area behind the cove, on the walls were more pirate themed costumes, a broken plastic sword against the wall, and the tin hook dismantled and laid carefully on a dressing table. They were both put off and confused by how it seemed more like an actress’ dressing room, than a workshop for a machine. There was no sign of any spare suits, no spare parts, why did a Machine have no spare parts? Perhaps Freddy’s was already doing badly.

Ricky took note of the small tools on what appeared to be another dressing table, this one with a large mirror in front of it with another chair beside it, plyers, forceps, a small surgical blade, tweezers and a simple screwdriver. He exhaled slowly keeping the revolver up aiming over Sam’s shoulder.

“Hey man,” Ricky whispered getting Sam’s attention, “we split up, check more of the room, then meet up at the end.” Ricky didn’t wait for a reply before turning right and moving to another area of the room.

Sam watched him from the corner of his eyes and continued onwards slowly. He hadn’t liked what he saw when they dragged Carlos into the security room, poor guy could barely breathe, could barely make any sound other than his pain filled cries. He’d need a doctor to check his wounds and all of that because an animatronic had decided; fuck yo’ programmin’, and gone psycho. Thank god that think was smoking out in that cove, but still … it gave him the creeps.

He turned a corner and aimed the gun down his vision. Nothing, no bear, it probably went in deeper. He hated animatronics, they always creeped him out when he saw them in old pictures, or in museums, fuckin’ creepy ass shit. Then Freddy Fazbear’s brought back the ones that could walk by themselves like super robots from Japan. From little he’d seen already they scared the fuck out of him, but more so these things moved at night like they were alive, shit like that was terrifying. Did the guard know, did the robots try and kill the guard? Shit maybe they were doin’ the little guy a favour.

He converged on the passageway towards the rest of the parts and services he turned and cursed sharply as Ricky pointed his gun at him all the while cursing himself.

“Damn it man, chill we got this.” Ricky barked at him quietly.

“Sorry, this place is freaking me out, nightmare city here.” Sam replied.

“Grow up man, robots can’t hurt people.” Ricky said with frustration.

“That wolf one got Carlos.” Sam reminded him.

That made Ricky go quiet momentarily, he shrugged it off with frustration and glared at Sam before walking up to him. “Whatever man, let’s go.” Ricky grabbed a hold of Sam and pushed him down the hallway. Ricky pulled out his radio and lifted it to his face, “Antonio, where you at?”

“Looking through the parts place, no sign of the bear.” Came the static muffled reply.

“How’s things going Matt?” Rufus asked as he sat upon the guard’s chair, baseball bat resting lazily in his grasp with the thicker end touching the floor, all the while he eyes were still focussed on the unconscious guard, whom had swollen bruise on the side of his head.

“Ricky and Sam are in the parts and services passageway from the Pirate place, Antonio is behind the stage, poking around … nothin’ yet.” Matthew said as he checked through the cameras then moved to the kitchen camera. “Adrian and the others are trying to get the kitchen door unlocked, it’s steel and its strong, could take ‘em a while.”

Rufus cursed under his breath as he rolled his head back, this was taking too long, all it took was someone too close to hear the gunshots and then the police would be breathing down their necks.

“Keys.” Rufus suddenly said as he straightened his head. “Fuckin’ keys!” he cursed and got up from his chair and began to check the guards belt for a set of keys. “Should of thought about fuckin keys.” He grimaced and cursed his own stupidity. He cursed loudly when he couldn’t find them. “Matt, check the desk for keys.”

Matthew made a move to search the desk when a metallic whirring came from the tablet followed by the sound of a door shutting.

“The fuck?” he wondered and looked back at the camera, nothing seemed amiss but he knew what he heard. “Something’s going on.” Matt picked up the radio as he scanned through the parts and services cameras. “Boy you may have a problem I think something just hi-tailed it out of there and is campin’ out in the Cove.”

“What make you say that?” Sam’s voice came over the radio.

“Heard some machinery then the door shut, better check it out in case the bear slipped past you.” Matt replied.

“No fuckin’ seven-foot robot got past us without us knowin’ it.” Ricky said back snappily with irritation.

Rufus pulled the radio from Matt’s hand and brought it to his mouth “Just check it!” Rufus ordered.

“Alright, alright I’ll go check.” Ricky grumbled over the radio and complied.

Matthew and Rufus looked between one another, on one camera they could see Ricky moving through the hallway, Matthew then began to cycle through the parts and services camera and paused upon a startling discovery.

“I’ve lost feed to parts and services entrance.” Matthew said to alarm.

“Ricky keep an eye out; we can’t see shit.” Rufus warned him through the radio.

“No problem boss.” Ricky replied then went quiet.

Rufus and Matthew waited with bated breath, the audio systems in the cameras were still operational but nothing could be heard.

“Ricky?” Rufus spoke into the radio.

“Still here boss, I tell ya I can’t see SHIT!” Ricky suddenly cried out in alarm and gun shots were heard over the radio.

“Ricky? RICKY!” Sam’s voice was heard through the radios.

“Ricky talk to me!” Rufus demanded.

There was a pause.

“Ahh shit, sorry boss, fuckin’ rat.” Ricky replied over the radio.

They all breathed a collective sigh.

“Ricky you jumpy mother fucker, you see anything or what?” Rufus asked.

They heard the sound of a door opening then shutting. “Nothin’ boss. Super nerd must’a been hearing shit.”

“Alright fine, go meet up back with Sam and look for that fucking bear.”

“No problemo.” Ricky replied. The radio went quiet.

“Antonio, you got the bear yet?” Sam asked over the radio.

“Nothing, moving into passageway now, I barracked the door in case it slip by me.” The man replied.

“Good thinkin’.” Rufus said and put down his radio, “Alright we gotta keep lookin’ for those keys.”

Matthew put down the tablet and began aiding Rufus in his search for the keys, which were quickly found in the bottom right draw.

“Alright, I’ll go give these to Trevor.” Matt told Rufus as he picked up the keys.

“Ricky the hell you doin’ takin’ a dump?” Sam called out loudly, no response. He looked back to where he came, there was no sign of Ricky.

“Guys can get you get a look see on Ricky?”

“Ssshhhh.” Ricky replied over the radio, “I got a bead on the bear, he musta slipped past us or blended in with some shit, I can see him sat on his fat lard ass.”

“Right, alright, I’ll be there quickly.” Sam replied over the radio.

Rufus looked through the camera footage, another camera was down. “Fuck,” he cursed with annoyance and got onto his radio, “Ricky what’s goin’ on I can’t see shit.” Silence. “Ricky?”

“Sam, you see Ricky?” Rufus ordered.

“No boss, the lights out, I can’t see anything.” There was a pause over the radio feed “Ricky, where you at?” Sam called out, “Where’s the bear?”

“I see him, on the ground in the corner, it aint movin’.” Ricky replied, “I can hear you close by, keep comin’.”

“Rufus we got the kitchen unlocked, we’re lookin around.” Trevor’s voice came over the radio.

Rufus quickly switched to the kitchen camera and saw the three armed men enter into the room.

his voice quiet from the distance from the radio, “not sure where a big robot can hide boss.” Adrian’s quiet voice from the distance from the radio.

“Got a freezer here in the back!” Rufus saw Lucan on the camera feed point to something off screen.

“Get it open!” Trevor ordered.

“There’s a ton of meat in the way.” Lucan called out.

“Then move it!” Trevor ordered.

Trevor and the boys seemed to have the duck cornered he flicked through the cameras and saw Antonio making his way down the parts and services passageway, he was alone.

“Ricky, Sam, where you at?” Rufus demanded to know with frustration.

“Shit man I can’t see shit in here, the lights are out.” Sam’s voice came over the radio. “Ricky man where are you?” Sam’s voice came muffled over the camera’s audio.

“Right behind you.”

There was a sudden explosive sound of gunfire then utter silence.

Rufus stared at the damaged camera footage not noticing Matthew as he walked in.

“Sam?” Rufus spoke into the radio … “Ricky?” nothing. “Someone say something!” he demanded.

Matthew looked at the footage then carefully took in from Rufus’ hand.

“We’re here.” Sam spoke into the radio.

“Where the fuck were you when I called you?” Rufus demanded.

“Sorry boss, my mistake, it wasn’t the bear, just a spare suit.” Ricky replied. “We’re goin’ to meet up with Sam now.”

Matthew and Rufus looked at each other with confused expressions.

“Ricky your already with Sam.” Matthew said into the radio.

Silence. A bone chilling silence.

A look of horror and realisation flashed across Matthew’s face … they’d been had, which seemed to the reinforced by the grinding of heavy machinery and repeated poundings of metal against concrete as something moved further into the passageway at an accelerated rate.

“ANTONIO YOU GOT COMPANY!” Rufus yelled into the radio.

“Antonio, I hear it, I hear it!” the man replied and hefted his shotgun as he stepped into the main parts and services area, all around the place were spare parts for carbon endoskeletons and spare suits.

The pounding grew closer, grew louder then all of a sudden stopped.

“Do you see it?” Rufus demanded to know.

“I don’t see it boss.” Antonio replied, fear edging into his voice, a gunshot rang out and the lights were destroyed, the camera automatically shifted to a form of night vision, though things were rather blurry. “Now I don’t see nothin’.” Antonio spoke once more as he began to panic.

“We got you covered Antonio.” Rufus told him as he and Matthew switched between the cameras in the large room.

“We should tell him to get out of there.” Matthew told Rufus.

“He’s got this.” Rufus replied.

“And it got Ricky and Sam.” Matthew shot back.

Gunfire and muzzle flashes drew their attention back to the camera.

“Antonio!” Rufus barked out.

“I saw it! … I saw it!” Antonio yelled, his voice being picked up by the camera feed. “I think I got it.”

Antonio shakily reached into his pocket fumbling for more shells, gripping a few he pulled his hand out inadvertently spilling shells onto the ground, he loaded in the two rounds as he slowly crept further into the room, his breathing slow and shuddering in his rising fear.

“I don’t see anythin’.” He whispered quietly while taking a firm grip on the shotgun’s fore-end and racked it chambering a round, he saw movement in the corner of his eye, he spun around and fired. The fur suit jiggled from impact and fell from its hook.

“Antonio talk to me.” Rufus said through the radio.

Antonio didn’t reply, this wasn’t how it was supposed to go down, the robots can’t hurt people, they couldn’t, they couldn’t! He swallowed hard and reached back into his pocket for more shells.

“ANTONIO LEFT!” Matthew yelled.

Antonio spun catching sight of the burning red optic he fired without a second thought and the machine recoiled back viciously but didn’t fall.

“GET OUT OF THERE!” Rufus ordered in panic.

Antonio gripped the shotgun like a club and brought it across the machine’s snout knocking its head to the side, he turned on his heel and ran back the way he came dropping his gun in the process. The machine righted its head then stomped after him, pausing only briefly to the dropped shotgun shells on the floor, the machine reached out picking two up between its fingers before marching on after Antonio. The machine pulled Sam’s sawn off from its belt with its right hand, pushing open the lever with its thumb then with a flick of its wrist gun broke open, tilting back its hand it let gravity pull the empty shells from the barrels before tilting the gun down again, loading the two fresh shells inside then closing it up with a second flick of its wrist. It lifted its arm and pulled the trigger.

Matthew and Rufus stared in horror as Antonio dropped to the floor, only to lift his head up and cry out in agony.

“TONY MOVE! ITS BEHIND YOU!” Rufus yelled down the radio.

Antonio whimpered where he lay, the sound from behind him became louder as the metal monster grew closer, his panic grew tenfold, he grimaced; his leg, the fucking thing had shot him, with a cry of agony he pushed himself up onto his good knee all the while using the passageway wall as support and continued on his path towards the exit. He cried out in pain and terror, muttering silent prayers to the creator and his son begging for forgiveness and promising to change if he survived the night.

“Jesus please, please, please, don’t let me die.” He mumbled pathetically as poured from his eyes like tiny waterfalls.

“KEEP GOING TONY!” Rufus’ voice cried out over the radio.

Antonio turned the corner and almost felt his heart stop in dread. The exit; he’d barricaded it! He pushed forward, crying out as he put too much weight on his leg and almost fell to the floor if it weren’t for the wall keeping him steady. “Mother fu…” his words died away, as he struggled for breath. He knew he couldn’t stop; the Machine was getting closer he had to get away, he bit his lip trying to ask the sound of his cries and limped quickly towards the barricade and began to pull the items away from the door; a turned over chair, a few long and large spare parts.

“HURRY MAN, HURRY!” Matthew’s voice yelled over the radio.

Antonio cursed as reached a larger piece of the barricade, a metal shelf, when he put it there it was heavy but doable but now?

“TONY MOVE!” Rufus called out.

The Machine entered the room and stormed right up to him, Antonio spun around just as the machine’s metallic fingers wrapped around his throat and hoisted him a foot in the air effortlessly, his cries of agony were muted by the machine’s grip as the still hot metal burned into his skin.

The Machine stared at the man who tried to back get the Machine’s fingers from around his throat while gurgling out something unintelligible. He was pathetic, expendable, the human race wouldn’t miss him.

“PUT HIM DOWN YOU FUCK!” Rufus yelled over the radio that dropped from Antonio’s person.

The Machine turned her attention to the radio on the floor, giving Antonio enough time to reach behind his back and draw a pistol from the back of his pants and bring the weapon bearing down on the machine’s head and pulled the trigger. A single .45 calibre bullet ricocheted off the machine’s cheek, it turned its head to face him once again as he unloaded the entire magazine point blank into the machine’s face. The bullets pinged and bounced off of the metallic alloy without leaving any damage, one particular bullet struck the Machine’s optical sensor, the bullet flattened and fell to the ground.

The pistol’s slide locked back after the final bullet casing was ejected. Antonio stared in horror as the Machine’s furred brow lowered as it glared at him with malice. It reached out and wrapped its other hand around his shooting hand’s wrist and effortlessly crushed the bone with an audible snap. The man wailed out as his body shook in her grasp.

“I’M GUNNA KILL YOU BITCH!” Rufus declared furiously over the radio.

The machine gave a pause, ignoring the parasite in her grasp, she turned her gaze and focused on the camera in the corner of the room. The Machine turned, took a few steps closer to the camera, using her other hand she took a firm grip on the back of Antonio’s neck and pointed his face directly at the camera.

“Antonio! Antonio, we’re gunna get you outta there! Boys fuck the duck get to the parts and service now!” Rufus demanded. “You hear that you metal bitch!? You’re gunna die!

The Machine ignored Rufus’ threat before clamping her hands around Antonio’s head, with one hand under his jaw and the other over his scalp, then she began to apply pressure the man in her grasp tried to scream but her hands forced his mouth shut, this could have been quick, but she wanted them all to suffer! She felt the structure of his skull give way to her increasing force she felt hot life burst from his flesh and dribble down her metal fingers. He groaned deeply his body flailing trying to get her to drop him, his hands grasping at her wrists pathetically trying to pull her hands from his head, to stop or slow his fate. Nothing could save him now, blood was building up in his face, pressing against his flesh, sooner or later something would give either his soft tender flesh or the quickly crumbling skull.

There was a high pitched squeal emanating from the man in her hands moments before his flesh burst open like a zit spilling crimson life all over her floor, moments later sis jaw cracked in her left hand and began to buckle under the pressure, his skull caved in as she forced her hands closer together with the object of his head in between them, His skull broke open with ease, delicious gooey grey matter began to seep between her fingers mixed in with clumps of hair and shattered bone. His hands lost their focused grip but never released her wrists as he began to twitch, his body’s last instinctual movements before all life left him, but she wasn’t done, the corpse she held before her would feel no pain but still has its use. Her hands continued to apply pressure to the mush of bone, flesh and muscle in her grasp till it was nothing more than an orgy of gore between her fingers, seeping through her hydraulics.

She held the body still for a few moments longer before dropping it letting the camera take a long good look at her damaged face.

“We’re gunna fucking kill you. DO YOU FUCKING HEAR ME!” Rufus screamed through the radio.

She turned and picked up the radio, before turning back to the camera as she brought the radio to her mouth, she opened her jaws;

SCCCRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!

The radios internal parts shattered from the feedback, the dropped the radio and made her way back through the parts and services.

No one had noticed Freddy huddled in the corner in the maid parts room, having seen just about everything and heard much more than he ever wanted to, all the while a look of sheer horror seemed frozen on his face.
