As usual with the commissions from FA: Taiko , this one ends up running a bit on the silly side rather than completely sexy, but it's still one of those things I had a lot of fun writing, and I think works out as pretty fun to read. Enjoy Nor the mule and the first appearance of my tertiary character, Treble.

Nor's Night with the Naga For Taiko By Draconicon

Treble slithered along the streets of Novus Ager, the black and blue costume he wore getting somewhat sticky after a day out on patrol. Thankfully, most of his serpentine body was uncovered, so the earlier rainstorm had kept that from becoming a problem. The naga rubbed at his forehead, shaking some of the residual rain off of him, and clearing his scales around his eyes. His tongue slithered free in a soft hiss of annoyance.

"Such a...strange city. Always changing..."

Still, at least it gave him and the other members of his squad plenty of work. Heroes seemed to be in constant demand, despite the plethora of them already present in the city, and he was glad for it. Most places were just as happy to see his tail slithering out as any of the others coming in.

There was so much demand, in fact, that the costumed naga didn't even have to stick with the team. Everyone was off doing something else. He, himself, had just dealt with a rather annoying wolf - someone letting out sonic howls all over the place, too minor to really have a name yet - and was on the lookout for something else to do.

Heh...well, I'm never going to run out of that here, he thought, pausing at a small intersection to glance up and down the streets. Not much going on out here, but that always seemed to be the case before something -

Boooooooom!

The explosion didn't happen anywhere near him, but it was big enough that he doubted that anyone could have missed it. He turned towards the sunset - where it seemed to have gone off - and spotted several things. First, that there were over a dozen heroes heading in that direction. Two, that the top of a building was on fire. And three...

That a mule-shaped missile was shooting through the sky almost straight towards him.

"Oooooh boy!"

The naga slithered backwards, about twenty feet back, and pulled his long, powerful body upwards. He spiraled himself around and around, until he'd formed a tight funnel-shaped net with his coils. And just in time, too, as the mule came shooting at him.

Hot, hot, hot!

Treble hissed rapidly, almost spinning like a top as soon as the mule's forward momentum had been halted. He shook out his tail - all twenty plus feet of it - as the mule spun out of his grip, halfway down an alley before coming to a halt.

"Hot, hot, pain, hot...hoooooo, that's why you don't go catching flying heroes. Always messes up the scales..."

On the plus side, at least his costume was still spotless. That was a thing.

Shaking his head as the heat started fading off of his scales - though not completely, as he swore the mule had been on fire before hitting him - he looked back at the former missile. The mule was covered in red and blue patterns, and looked...surprisingly less out of it than most people would be, considering he'd just been launched across the length of a city. Yes, a little bit off-balance, but...

Treble slithered over to him, wincing a bit with some of the burned spots as they moved over the asphalt. He adjusted his slithering pattern, and by the time he reached the costumed equine, he was moving without too much discomfort.

"So, you must have had one heck of a ride, I bet."

"Um..."

"Yes, flying through the skies, landing in a snake, bouncing down the alley; quite a ride for anyone. Usually a lethal one, for that matter. So, introductions, I bet. Heh, I'm Treble, snake and singer of some talent. You probably have heard of me?"

"Um...well..."

"Hmm, we'll fix that. But you, what's your name?"

"..."

"Come on, come on, it doesn't have to be the real one. Hero to hero?"

"I, well..."

Treble arched an eyeridge for a moment before he realized what must have been going on. Amnesia, temporary or permanent, had been the end of more than one hero's work, and it happened more often than the unions were likely to say. Or, well, guilds were. Or whatever they used here. He couldn't imagine that they were savage enough to keep everyone freelance; what sort of organization would do that?

But he recognized the way that the eyes were a bit glazed over. Definitely a few blows to the head there, and probably enough to make identifying himself a little bit difficult for the mule at the moment.

"Heh, don't worry about it. You'll figure it out in a bit. Or...not."

"What was that?"

"Nothing, nothing."

He smiled, slowly slithering around the rather confused mule. It wasn't too hard to get a few coils around his legs, after all, and he kept patting the big guy on the shoulder, keeping him focused on the snake's upper body.

Hmmm, pretty nicely built, shiny sort of musculature. Shimmering from a hard day's work, probably pretty tired, and really, really wanting to relax...

He'd already done a lot of work. Stopping that wolf had only been the latest exploit of the day; two other villains had been arrested and a hostage situation stopped before that, and he felt he deserved a bit of fun. Particularly with everyone else already dealing with the source of the explosion. The naga chuckled to himself, circling the mule twice more until his coils had gone above his knees.

"What do you say about going to get a little...privacy?"

"I...I don't know. I should be doing something. Somewhere."

The mule started to take a step, but Treble was ready for that. He squeezed, the muscles tightening all the way down his tail. It was so extreme that the mule almost toppled over, and would have if the naga hadn't been nice enough to grab him by the arm, steadying him.

"Oh please, you don't need to run. We can stay right here, if it feels better...My sexy little stud..."

"Please, I'm not...Let me just...have a minute."

"Oh, have several. And in the meantime, I'll give you an example of my powers..."

Treble smiled, and slowly stuck out his tongue. A vibrant, shimmering hiss slipped past his lips. Normally, such a sound was a danger signal for anyone around, but as he started bobbing his head back and forth, changing the angle of his tongue, the sound slowly started to alter. It had a vibrato quality to it, one that made the air tingle and tremble along with him, almost like a pleasant tingle that went up and down the skin.

As the air changed, the mule started to relax, his body going limp like he was getting a massage. Of course, he was, in a way. The sound waves that the naga was putting off worked on different parts of the body, making it so much more sensitive, so much more relaxed, like a million tiny massages working through the muscle.

And then, then, he started to sing.

"Slowly fall the eyes, slowly dims the light Falling into darkness, falling to my might Let the daylight fade, let the evening come Never need to fear, never need to run

For I'll hold you, hold you in my coils Never let you hurt, no matter how you toil For I'll hold you, hold you in my arms Never let you fade, never come to harm

So let the daylight go, throw your mind away And be mine, mine, for a year, a month, or -"

"That's far enough, Treble."

Oh, come on, I was almost done...

The naga slithered a few more lengths around the big mule, his tail reaching up almost to the hero's middle. The song had done so much to relax him that his coils were almost the only thing keeping the equine standing up, and he doubted that he'd be able to come out of it too quickly, even with...his help.

Down the alley strode a badger, older than most of the other members of the squad. Treble rolled his eyes a bit, flicking his tail tip up and idly stroking it over the mule's crotch. Arousal was but one of the means that one could use to keep a hypnotic effect going, but it was one of the easier ones. He found the bulge and wrapped the tip around it, shaking his head.

"What's the matter, Thimas? Looking for a new boy toy now that a lion's taken over for you?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about, Treble. I'm here because that mule's got a lot of baggage you'll have to deal with if you finish that song."

"Oh? What song may that be?"

Thimas arched an eyebrow, and started humming it. Precisely. Line for line, the old coot had the tune down perfectly, and the naga grumbled.

"Fine, fine, so you know what I composed. What's the big deal? It would only be for a few weeks."

"A few weeks during which a great deal of super villains would be after the guy that took their favorite punching bag and plaything. I don't think you want that heat on you, old friend."

"Hmmm...Perhaps not."

He looked down at the mule again. If Thimas wasn't lying to him - and that was pretty unlikely, considering the badger's morals - that would mean he'd have to lock himself in their headquarters for a while. There'd be no privacy, then...

The mule's cock seemed to have slipped free during their conversation, and he turned his tail to it again. The thick length was quite easy for him to grip, and the soft moans of the mule from the tail-job he was getting...heh, it was quite pleasant on the ears.

"So what do you suggest, old friend?"

"I'd suggest limiting it to a night with him. And then take him off to Bwhooom. Get him a chance to get his head back on straight."

"You actually know where he is?"

"Pick up a phone book sometime; you'd be surprised what you find in there."

"Hmmph."

"Now, what was that about a lion taking over for me?"

"Heh. So you haven't been talking much with Kaito for a while, huh? What's the matter, your new tutoring job keeping you busy?"

The badger rolled his eyes.

They settled into more conversation than Treble would have liked, but it was good to catch up with an old friend, even if they didn't see eye to eye. Not to mention that Thimas had a couple of ideas for keeping the tune of his new song from getting off-beat, and from going too strong.

After all, he wanted a song to entice one-night stands, not boyfriends.

By the time that the badger let him alone, it was past sunset, and he needed to get to a hotel. He gathered up the now-nude mule - more and more of the costume had disappeared as they'd kept talking, he noticed, which seemed a useful feature - in his coils and started slithering off. The feeling of the big guy humping his tail all the way to the hotel was only one more incentive to get there as quickly as possible...
