A Party With Milkshakes
#3 of Gifts
Silent Hunter is a very close friend of mine and even calls me Master sometimes. He requested a story that would involve a very specific fetish and a very specific bat-like creature from an old film. His character is perfect test material, and food, so I decided to utilize this story in my company labs in an encounter with one of our studies, a winged devourer/birdman from the film Beastmaster. A very specific fetish, but it was kind of fun to write something so different.
A Party with Milkshakes

"Where are we going, Master?" Silent-Hunter asked curiously as he stepped into the lift. He and his Master, the black gargoyle, were in the LM Technologies building, getting into a lift from a personal stop in the gargoyle's office. The gargoyle entered a level code into the lift's touch panel, "I want to introduce you to another alien species we picked up." Silent grinned, "ooh, maybe we can have a party or something!" The gargoyle smirked wryly, "With milkshakes..." The lift took off and Silent-Hunter grinned, "That sounds fun!" As the lift traveled rapidly through the building's magnetic levitation system, he fidgeted mildly in excitement, "Are we there yet?" he asked, feeling very excited about meeting another alien. "We will be in a few moments." The gargoyle replied as he reviewed some data on his PPT.
After what seemed like an interminable time in the lift, which was actually only about a minute or so, the lift stopped and the doors opened. The hallway was a typical one seen across the deeper labs of the company, sterile and modern, with a reserved styling, but had number of warning signs about not directly interacting with specimens and hazard signs about caustic chemicals. Silent-Hunter followed the gargoyle out and down the hallway to one of the secured doorways. Unlike most of the other doors this one looked rather heavily reinforced and featured an airlock system with a standard sterilization sequence involving spray and laser scanning. "What's with all the warning signs, Master?" Silent-Hunter asked, feeling a bit bored as the chamber cycled. "Just precautionary reminders, you know how I'm careful with my employees." Silent-Hunter smirked, "What about test subjects?" The gargoyle smirked back, "Those aren't really employees. Those are more like test-fodder." Silent snickered, "Like this one!" The gargoyle smirked, "Yes, in a way...except they don't come back like you do." Silent-Hunter grinned. The doors on the other end finally opened, revealing a room with larger cargo-door type aperture on the wall and a smaller one to the side. "Okay Silent," The gargoyle said, "Just wait here in-front of this door and you can meet the alien we have in here. I have to go to the control room and get the door open." Silent-Hunter nodded, "But what about the party?" The gargoyle was halfway through the other door when he answered, "I'm pretty certain you'll have a good deal of fun as it is." Silent-Hunter scratched his head as he looked up at the big door, wondering what they were keeping in there.
The gargoyle clearly knew what was in there, but wanted to surprise the Vanguard with exactly what was in there. After letting himself into the control room he checked on the status of the chamber's occupant, and did a couple of other checks on various systems. Finally he set himself in the control chair and prepared to open the doors. The Vanguard waited, fidgeting, rather excited, thinking about what kind of games and whatnot he could try to introduce this new friend too. He also found himself wishing he had stopped by the cafeteria and picked up some food to help introduce himself. Finally, the gargoyle's voice sounded over a speaker, "Okay Silent, Opening the door now, go ahead and go in and introduce yourself." Silent grinned, "Oh good!" and moved up to the door. A moment later a smaller sub-door in the big one slid open to allow him through. It was dark through the door but he figured his Master had forgotten to turn the lights on, or the alien was sensitive to light. Either way, he eagerly stepped through the door, which slid shut behind him, almost catching his tail in the process. He dismissed that and walked out into the room cautiously, not wanting to trip on anything. Fortunately a spotlight came on, illuminating a section of floor, which he stepped over to and looked around in the darkness. The Vanguard cheerfully announced, "Hello! This one is called Silent-Hunter! This one's Master brought this one here to meet you!" And waited for a reply. All was quiet, however, and the Vanguard scratched his head, "Uh, So, You can take your time, this one guesses... This one means, if you're shy or anything..." Finally he did get a response, a strange chittering noise. The Vanguard blinked, "Uh? Hello?" The chittering noise repeated, from a different angle and he turned to orient on it, but still couldn't see anything, especially not with his bright desert-light evolved eyes. Things were silent for a few moments, then Silent-Hunter asked, "Uh so, are you light sensitive?" Another chitter came in reply, this time close behind him. He couldn't help but feel a little tingle of nervousness go up his spine as he turned again, this time coming face-to-face with an unusual creature he had never seen before. It was a tannish grey color and had an unusual head structure that seemed to lack any real mouth and had some slot openings instead. The yellow eyes appeared to be firmly fixated on him, and he barely managed to get out a "Hi!" before it opened it's wings up. The spotlight highlighted them nicely, revealing their semi-transparent membrane nature, and a thick web of veins inside them. Silent-Hunter didn't know what to make of this, but figured the creature was going to give him a welcoming hug. That was confirmed as it approached him and wrapped it's wings firmly around the vanguard. "This one likes hugs!" He announced, but a moment later he was shocked, stunned, and surprised, by the fact that it started vomiting on him. "Ewww!" He grunted in surprise, but he was cut off by the fact that it started to burn and tingle sharply. Having been through a number of digestion scenarios before he realizes that it was spitting acid on him and he started to struggle, "Hey!" he protested, but he was locked tight in the firm grip of the creature as he vomited up more acids onto him. The acids were extremely effective and his flesh started to melt right off his bones after a few moments, initially starting with excruciating pain but the nerve endings were quickly dissolved under the power of the fluid. Silent couldn't help but yell in pain but that was cut off after a minute or two as the fluids progressed to peel away the skin from his skull, ribcage, and other parts of his body. They progressed further to begin dissolving his internal organs and his yell diminished into a sort of gurgling noise. Before his senses started fully giving out he could smell the sharp and pungent odor of acids digesting his skin, and as it leaked into his mouth his taste buds lit on fire and he got a confusing series of flavors that were sharp and bitter at the same time. His tongue literally dissolved inside of his own mouth and a pool of fluids was leaking out from underneath the creature's wings If the Vanguard had paid any attention he might have noticed the acid burn marks on the floor where the spotlight had been highlighting but he was too focused on the darkness to spot them. The mysterious winged creature spit more and more acid onto the Vanguard, creating a mess of dissolved vanguard flesh and organs, with the bones still intact at the bottom. The Vanguard's sensations and consciousness quickly faded as the digestive fluids penetrated his skull and dissolved his brain quickly, leaving him nothing to think with. The eyes went quickly, and were probably one of the first things to dissolve, while the skeletal structure remained intact for the most part but fell apart due to the fact that all the connective tissue was dissolved as well. Blood was instantly turned into a kind of unrecognizable base fluid for the rest of the vanguard to melt into.
The creature finished dissolving it's meal, and proceeded to lewdly slurp it up eagerly from the pouch it's wings were partially forming. A good deal of it leaked out the bottom, but that was no problem as once it finished sucking up most of what it could, it got down on the floor to slurp up the rest, leaving only a thin residue on the floor, a strangely discolored yellow-orange appearing fluid with a few lumps in it, and a pile of bones on top of it. The creature, satisfied, returned to the darkness to await it's next meal.
