A Helping Hand From a Friend
It was around nine when Alesta started to awaken. She stretched and realized she was still dressed. She got up and started to remember the evening with Holis and a smile over her lips and then thought back to the blurry memories of him carrying her back to the apartment. She gasped as she remembered kissing him trying to lure him to bed with her. She felt so ashamed of herself , she had been drunk but that wasn't a good excuse. She suddenly gasped again as she realized the plant wasn't in her room. She rushed out into the main room and stopped surprise over taking her.
The sight that Alesta saw caught her off guard and surprised her but she was very happy to see it. The plant was on the dolly next to the couch its feeding vine in Holis's mouth who seemed to be suckling on it like a baby. He was asleep on the couch and was covered in vines that were loosely laying over him. The plant seemed quite calm and content. Holis was laying on his side asleep, in a robe and completely covered. The plant pulled the vine free and it went back to the pot. As she walked over the plant extended its vines to her the others leaving Holis to go back to the pot.
Alesta smiled and walked to the couch kneeling down to Holis's sleeping form and ran her paw down his cheek. He seemed happy and content as she slowly woke him up smiling softly at him. Holis yawned and slowly woke up stretching. He smiled looking over to Alesta her paw rubbing through his mane.
"Morning sleepy horsie," Alesta smiled.
"Why thank you, I'm glad to see your having a good morning," Holis answered.
Alesta looked to the plant and back to him, "finally making friends are we?"
Holis sat up and patted the plant on the pod, "well I didn't want you to think I couldn't get along with the plant. I also decided you could use your sleep last night so I umm fed it, and before you say it no I fed it from a pitcher."
Alesta blushed, "well I am happy that your getting along well," Alesta sighed lightly looking down, "About last night, I really need to apologize."
Alesta was cut off by Holis's paw on her chin turning her back towards him, "no you don't," Alesta was surprised as her muzzle was brought to Holis's as he kissed her softly. She almost instantly melted into his muzzle murring as her eyes closed and she continued the kiss. After a minute they pulled back Holis blushing now.
Alesta shivered in bliss, "Umm that was very nice Holis."
Holis smiled and stood up helping her to her feet, "I like you Alesta, I don't want you to think otherwise. I want to pursue a relationship with you but only if your ready. I have been given the hint that things with your last partner did not end well. You already know that my last relationship didn't end well either."
Alesta stopped his speech by bringing his muzzle down into another kiss which she held long enough to stop him, she giggled as she felt his cock starting to harden under his robe. As she pulled back, "Thank you for your concern Holis but I'm a big girl, I loved Drake very much but he left and as much as it hurt I am not going to live in the past. I know how forward I am and I am going to be up front in saying I'm not going to change. I will take this at any speed you want, please be patient with me."
Holis smiled and hugged her tightly, "Thank you Alesta I'll be patient, in the mean time I need to get ready to go."
Alesta murred at the hug and walked over to the plant as Holis went to his room to change, "Holis where are you going?"
Holis yelled out from his room as he put on his old work uniform, "I am going to see the engineering staff today in my spare time I am going to help fix some of the issues with the power system."
Holis walked back out and said goodbye to Alesta as he went out the door going to the transports to go down to engineering. Alesta went back to the plant and opened her robe stretching out on the couch. She closed her eyes as she spread her legs slightly and waited for the plant to pleasure her. After a few minutes she noticed she wasn't being touched and looked over to the plant noticing it wasn't making any effort to go to her. She quickly stood up a bit worried that the plant wasn't acting normal. It was confirmed when she went to the pot and the plant made no effort to move at all.
Alesta looked the plant over it seemed ok but wasn't being active at all. She decided it would be best to consult one of the older feeders that had more experience then her. She was one of the best but even an expert doesn't know absolutely everything. It was about an hour later that an older badger knocked on her door and was let in. Alesta smiled at her friend and brought her into the main room.
Lova sat down on the couch next to the plant which sent a few vines over to her before they retracted back. She noted the plants curiosity and its lack of appetite. Lova carefully examined the plant from end to end, it seemed very healthy, the pod was good the vines good. She did notice the recently growth to one of the vines and as she felt the base of the pot she found the dirt very tight and as she dug a little she found the problem.
"So Lova do you know what's wrong with my plant?" Alesta asked hopefully.
Lova smiled, "yes dear its more simple than you think, but why don't you make us some tea, the plant will be fine."
Alesta smiled happily and made some tea in the kitchen, "would you like lemon with yours?"
Lova smiled, "yes dear, so tell me what happened to the vine that recently healed."
Alesta smirked, "well it's a long story but in essence it was an accident, my new partner was surprised and kind of cut it off with a laser cutter."
"Oh so your new partner arrived, I am sorry things didn't work out with Drake."
Alesta sighed looking down at her tea, "Yeah its been a bit hard on me but my new partner," Alesta began to smile at her tea, "Holis has been very supportive and despite his past pains, he is very wonderful."
Lova smiled softly, "so tell me a bit about him."
Alesta seemed to perk up and enthusiastic, "well he only recently started to work again he has been on medical leave for much of the last year. He was an engineer, a really good one from what I understand, he saved hundreds of people in some sort of disaster but he lost his sister. He is a very large stallion, he's a bit timid around woman. He is very strong and handsome, he has soft green eyes."
Lova interrupted, "I think you're very much infatuated with your new partner."
Alesta looked up surprised, "no I mean well we did kiss this morning but we just barely met I wouldn't assume, I mean we have only known each other for a few days."
Lova giggled, "I'm an old woman Alesta and I know a case of love at first sight when I see one. You and Drake mistook lust for love I always knew that and it was even more obvious when he left after all the time you two had been together but this one is different."
Alesta just sat there stunned, "what do you mean?"
"Your perky, you should see the shine in your eyes when you talk about him. You talk about his eyes like they hypnotize you, you talk about him like your ready to get married. If he feels the same for you I would say you found yourself a true mate."
Alesta blushed, "well that's a bit fast but I hope the future is bright."
Lova stood and walked over to Alesta smiling as she took her hand and brought her to the plant and moved showing her the tightness of the soil and the size of the storage sack of the plant, "unless you have been feeding this plant non stop for the last few days I am guessing your new partner is really well...lets say impressive."
Alesta gasped, "Lova I can't believe you just said that!"
Lova giggled, "Alesta the plant is not sick, its overfed. Its not interested in anyone because it can't store anymore it has no more room. Take it to your feeding room and let it share with the other plants and it should be back to normal in four or five hours."
Alesta blushed, "I can't believe it was that simple, I never thought you could overfeed them?"
"Well in nature it doesn't normally happen because the plants will share food but a single plant has no where to distribute the food too. On top of which male seed is much more potent then female fluids. Still he must of feed the plant three or four times to get it this full I'm surprised it didn't stop earlier," Lova commented.
Alesta giggled, "well actually he fed it for the first time last night and only once."
Lova gasped, "your joking he couldn't possibly be that umm impressive."
Alesta smiled, "actually."
Lova smiled again, "wow what is he like in bed."
Alesta blushed, "I don't know, god Lova I just met him."
Lova smiled and rubbed down to Alesta's tummy feeling the seeds, "well if you don't get him in bed by the time your done dealing with the seeds, you tell him to call me. I'll die in the attempt to have sex with him but what a way to go!"
Lova and Alesta laughed a lot over that joke but soon after said there goodbyes. Lova went back to her area as Alesta brought the plant back up to her feed room. She said hello to her friends that were feeding her other seven plants while she had been gone. As the plant she had was moved in all the plants sent vines over to it and it sent vines back out to familiarize it self with the others again. Soon it sent out its feeder to connect with several of the other plants one by one feeding them. After two others the storage area seemed much more manageable and after three it was under half what it had been.
The three other female plants reached out to her rubbing her affectionately they seemed to have missed her. It had been a couple weeks since she was on seed leave so it didn't surprise her. The plant was still content but the seeds were starting to hurt a bit they hadn't been moved since the previous morning and she didn't know if it would be good to let them sit for another four or five hours. The others said goodbye seeing as how the plants were well fed today and she decided to stay for a bit to let them have some fun and help her.
