This takes place during the beast hunters saga before predicons rising.

Chapter One: The Reunion

Novaflame was out flying not far from his ship, when he spotted another seeker, one he recognized as an old friend of his, one who had been forced to join the Decepticons as Megatron's SiC. This was Starscream, he flew in low, lower than he was, as a show of good will and to ensure Starscream did not feel threatened by his sudden arrival.

Who is this? why are you here? Sputtered Starscream.

Do you really not recognize your old friend Screamer? Novaflame smirked.

Novaflame? What in the name of Primus are you doing here? Starscream asked, completely perplexed as he was that Novaflame had seemingly come out of nowhere.

Well if you must know, I had been here for vorns. What brings you here? Novaflame said.

I am here because of Megatron, he is here as is his flagship the Nemesis. Say, will you join up with us? Or are you still insistent on remaining neutral? Starscream asked.

You know full well what my answer is Starscream, it was and still is no, I just cannot do it, I do not know what side to fully trust. The Autobots had their own problems with corruption in the government, and I do not wish to run the risk of being forced to carry out a rotten order. Not to mention many Autobots do not like Seekers, no matter how kind the Seeker is, they still see us as vermin, so why should I join them if it means I will be bullied for not being a ground pounder? Do not get me wrong, I have a few friends who ARE autobots, and THAT is one more reason why I do not wish to join Megatron and his Decepticons, simply because I would have to hurt the very bots who rescued me during the Battle of Vos, for they were Autobots, they saw I was neutral and knew I was not hostile unless fired upon. The Autobots that helped me were Optimus Prime, Ratchet, and a bunch of Wreckers. As for my other reasons for not joining the Decepticons is that I saw what Megatron was becoming, and I did not wish to be apart of that, he was taking the war too far and I knew he would destroy everything if the war did not stop. Now do you understand why I am reluctant to join Starscream? Novaflame explained.

I see..... Well I do miss you none the less Novaflame. I really miss those amazing evenings with you, I would bring you onto the Nemesis, but I doubt Megatron would permit it. Starscream said,

Oh how he dearly missed Nova, he never had the chance to tell him how he felt, one day, he just disappeared off of the face of Cybertron, there was no record of his offlining, but there was record of his departure, and thus Starscream knew he had evacuated off world. Starscream was both saddened and glad at the same time that his friend had left, he was saddened that he may never see him again, but glad that he was safe.

Novaflame? There is something I have been meaning to ask you for so long, the last time I mustered up enough courage to ask this, you had taken refuge off world, which apparently led to you taking refuge right here on earth. Starscream said,

What is it old friend? You may tell me. Novaflame said.

Well, you see.... Oh frag it, I won't beat around the bush any longer, I love you Novaflame! I love you with all of my spark, please be my sparkmate. Starscream blurted out.

Starscream...... I didn't know, oh Starscream, why didn't you tell me? Oh this is going to complicate things, where will we stay together, you cannot leave the Nemesis at any given time, you have duties you must accomplish, not to mention I do not agree with what Megatron is doing here, oh scrap, I do hope you do not intend on going after the energon in the forest? That energon is already claimed. Plus, I do not wish to live with you on the Nemesis, I have nothing against Decepticons personally, its their ideals I am not too fond of. Novaflame explained.

Oh no..... Please Nova, please, I cannot bear to be rejected by you, we can make this work, I promise you, we need to make this work, I could not bear to loose you again. I can ask Megatron, if he approves, then you may live with me, you do not have to be a Decepticon, but I cannot guarantee the safety of your Autobot friends, you do not have to go after them, but you won't be able to protect them either, I am sure that Megatron will not mind you visiting them, at least it gives you a chance to see them before we exterminate them. Starscream explained.

I don't know Star, I trust you, but I do not wish to see my friends hurt. Novaflame said.

I know, and I understand, how about this, I bring you aboard the Nemesis, I explain that you are an old friend of mine who is of a neutral party, that while you have friends within the Autobots, you are also friends with a great deal of Decepticons as well. Including myself, and that I have had feelings for you for a long time now and wish to make you my sparkmate. Starscream said.

Just then, Megatron had messaged Starscream on his comlink.

Starscream, did you find the source of that energy reading? Megatron said in a brusque voice.

Yes my liege, it seems an old friend of mine is on Earth and has been here for some time, in fact I think he beat us here by many years. Anyways it seems he has gotten his hands on an energon mine. Starscream explained over his comlink.

Excellent, I assume he is a Decepticon? And I assume he is willing to share the energon with us if he is living out of his own ship. Megatron asked.

No, he isn't sir, nor is he an Autobot, I will ask him if he is willing though. Starscream said.

Ah, a neutral then, though that means he is likely to be friends with those accursed Autobots as well. Megatron said.

Yes, what is more as that I my spark beats for him, I want to claim him as my sparkmate Megatron, please? If you do this for me, I will not try to subvert you ever again, I promise you. Starscream begged.

Starscream, you know this is a risk that you are asking me to take, I will allow this, but under one condition, he is your responsibility, and if he does anything that jeopardizes our missions, it would be your fault for not keeping him in line, do I make myself clear Starscream? He may visit his friends, but if we attack, he is not to interfere, if he does, we may be forced to arrest him and place him in the brig for punishment, and you shall also share his fate, you two shall suffer together. Megatron said.

That is all I ask of you my lord and master, and I will accept all responsibility over him, and accept all punishment for our actions. Do not worry my liege, my sweetspark will be on his best behavior. Starscream explained.

Good, it is settled then, Also, if he has a ship, you may use it as a home for the two of you when you are on leave time, he may live here, but he may come and go as he so pleases, I may even send down parts to fix it up. Your friend may also help us around the ship, he does not have to take up an active combat role, but all Vehicons are authorized to protect him if needed. Megatron said.

Thank you Megatron, I will be sure to tell him all this, Starscream said, then closed his commlink.

Well Nova, we got our answer, he has approved on one condition, that you do NOT interfere with our operations, that means you must not try and protect the Autobots, even if your friends are among them, but that does not mean you may not visit, but if you find them under attack by our forces, you are to leave them be. Starscream explained to him.

I see, well I am grateful to say the least. Novaflame said.

He also is willing to send you parts to repair the Novaburst. Also, are you willing to provide some of the energon that you have in your mine? Starscream said, and asked.

Really? By Primus! Its been too long since The Novaburst was able to fly, I never thought I would see the day she would ever fly again. As for the energon, I don't know, I know you guys need it, but as long as your master promises to only use it as fuel and not to power a weapon of mass destruction. Novaflame said.

Very well I will let him know once we get home. Starscream said.

The two Seekers turned around and made their way to the Nemesis, where Megatron was waiting for them. Nova was nervous, especially with so many Vehicons around. Eventually they reached the main bridge.

Greetings Megatron, I have returned, and I want you to meet Novaflame, the Vosnian Flame, he will provide a valuable service for you, he will help keep me in line, because with all due respect, the reason why I did what I did was because while you may know a lot about Seeker anatomy, you lacked knowledge on Seeker psychological needs, we often travel in trines, and we often require the company of another Seeker, our EM fields are designed to sooth us and keep us calm, if we are separated from our kind for too long, we become stressed, despondent, and generally suffer from various emotional imbalances, which leads to rebellious behavior and makes us act out. So you might benefit from Nova being here, We also have certain needs that you just were not keeping up with. Having another Seeker around the Nemesis can ensure that my urges and needs are sated and satisfied, thus keeping me happy. Starscream proposed.

Very well, anything that keeps you in line and prevents you from overthrowing me is good enough a reason for me. Thus I will allow it. Novaflame. You do not have to be a Decepticon, but you absolutely must follow MY rules at all times, or else I will be forced to remove you from this ship, Starscream will be moved to your ship, it will be a supplementary ship in my fleet, meaning it will provide utilitarian services, primarily transporting goods from the mines and transporting troops, too and from battle. Do I make my self clear Novaflame? Also, you will be rewarded greatly for providing these services, for every time Starscream comes back from a successful mission bearing energon, we will reward you and Starscream with something really pleasant for the both of you. If absolutely must engage the Autobots, you do not have to kill, only discourage them, prevent them from getting into the mines, and you will be doubly rewarded. Megatron said.

Yes Lord Megatron, I understand completely, I do not agree with your methods, but I do suggest that if I do this, you must leave my friends on the Autobot side alive, I do not wish to lose them, Ratchet in particular, I owe him a life debt. It is all I ask of you, if you must terminate my friends, at least spare him your wrath, or even find some other way of sparing their lives. Novaflame asked.

I can not guarantee anything, nor do I promise, but if they survive, I can provide an ultimatum, and decree that they are to become Decepticons, be it by free will, or by becoming Decepticon property. They will be alive, and those who become property of the Decepticons will be well cared for. So do not worry my dear Seeker. Megatron proposed.

I suppose that is better than flat out killing them, I still do not like it, but I guess its better than what you intended to do before. I prefer to see peace where all have equal rights, no matter what they are, I want to see a day when Autobots and Decepticons live together peacefully, is that so much to ask of anyone? Novaflame asks.

Well if the Autobots are willing to make me the ruler of Cybertron and apologize for the way I was denied my destiny, then I would be more willing to give them my respect, but they continue to fight this futile fight against me, they are blinded by their own ideals, they preach that all are equal, that all are special, and yet I see poverty among the laborers, and adversity towards the Seeker Race, does that not sound right? Megatron said.

I understand where you are coming from, but stealing from this world when there are other sources of energon that are not so heavily populated is not right, this world does not have the understanding to handle our presence, it is no wonder that its government has not blown you out of the sky if they had their way? Novaflame said.

Listen Novaflame, that is the thing, the ARE trying to blow us out of the sky, and the Autobots are helping them. Megatron growled.

Wait, they are actually working WITH the Autobots? By all accounts, this planet was considered to be on the do not interfere list by various planetary alliances. Novaflame said, his eyes were as wide as can be.

Yes, they are. Megatron replied.

Well it is no wonder, you ARE trying to take their resources and by all accounts on the transmissions I have intercepted, also wanting to claim this world for yourself as well. Novaflame stated.

You were monitoring MY private communications? Starscream, why did you not tell me he was monitoring me? Megatron snarled.

Honestly my Lord, I did not know this, but please do not take it out on him or me, I do not think he would be bothering to harm us now that we are together. Starscream said in a soothing voice, trying to placate the angry warlord.

He better not, if this turns out to be an Autobot spy, I will have your spark Starscream. Megatron howled in anger.

My Lord, I assure you, he is neutral, he is not tied to any faction, I will keep an eye on him personally, and I will be able to not only do this, but also be able to keep him in line once we spark bond and trust me, I am not doing this just for the soul purpose for keeping a close eye on him, but also out of love. The ability to sense his thoughts and feelings is but a perk of the bond, but know this, if he dies, I die once this is done. Starscream purred into Megatrons audials.

I do hope your right Starscream, treacherous as you can be, you are still a valuable asset. I will give you two your space now, do what needs to be done and be done with it, that way you can do your duties. Megatron said, visibly calming down after his near outburst of anger.

I don't believe this Starscream, that is no way to use a spark mates bond, if that is how it is, then I cannot bond with you.... Novaflame said somberly.

No Nova, do not leave me, I...... I do not like it either, but if it means keeping you safe, and keeping Megatron from becoming suspicious of you, then we must do what is necessary to keep you alive. Starscream cried out.

I do not know anymore, there is too much risk, to be honest, I felt the same way about you that you do with me, but I did not know you actually returned those feelings. Now I learn that you intend on using that most sacred of bonds to spy on me, I know you mean well, but I just do not feel right about it. Novaflame said with a sad quaver in his voice.

I know how you feel about it, I really do Nova, but you must trust me, once Megatron is satisfied, I will not have to make occasional reports about you and what you were up to. I do not like it any more than you do, but please, do it for me, do it to prove you are no spy. Starscream begged.

Oh alright, clearly you mean well, and you only wish to show that I am not a spy, I will do it. Novaflame said.

Novaflame and Starscream exited the bridge and made their way to Starscreams berthroom, Novaflame reached up and caressed Starscreams face plate then leaned in for a passionate kiss, his glossa enters Starscreams waiting mouth as their dermas gently brushed and caressed each other. Starscream and Novaflame moaned softly into the tender kiss.

Novaflame finally broke away from the kiss and laid down and allowed Starscream to let his optics and servos roam his sensuous frame, each cord, each curve, each inch of his warm chassis drove Starscream into a frenzy of pleasure, he kissed Novaflame along his neck and worked his way down his chest plating, his abdominal plating, and eventually allowing his dermas to play and nibble along his spike plate, drawing a pleasured moan from Novaflame. Starscream's servo caressed Nova's valve plate, making him whimper and gasp like a desperate Seeker whore as the pleasure throbs through his pleasure nodes. Novaflame finally removed his spike and valve covers revealing Novaflames long, thick spike, making Starscream drool at the mere sight of it.

Oh Novaflame, your spike looks so big and juicy, I just want to suck it desperately, to taste you delicious transfluids on my glossa, and feel it trickling down my fuel intake system. I need it now. Starscream panted desperately.

Starscream wrapped a servo around Novaflames hot, hard spike, and began to stroke it slowly and gently, making Novaflame squirm under his expert touch.

Starscream took his survo off of Nova's spike and began to suck it gently, his skilled glossa working feverishly along the shaft and his overly sensitive tip, making Nova moan loudly. Megatron had ordered everyone that they are not to disturb Starscream for anything, if they must get a hold of him, they were to bring the news to Megatron, or a confidant of their choice and then they can pass the message along when Starscream is available. Starscream inserts a digit into his valve and Novaflame whimpered and gasped at the sudden intrusion, his valve was very ticklish and he loved it when anyone stimulated him there with their digits.

Starscream just kept rubbing the inside of his valve with his digits, as well as that one sensitive external node on the front of his valve, making him writhe in desperation, he wanted it badly, Nova's spark was engorged with energy and was desperate to feel Starscreams spark next to his. Nova was rubbing Starscream's valve and spike gently, making the silver seeker whimper and moan around the swollen spike in his mouth. Soon, Starscream was ready to begin, he took Nova's spike out of his mouth and positioned himself on top. This was it, it was really going to happen, he was about to finally do the one thing his spark desperately desired, he was about to take his beloved Novaflame as his mate. Novaflame was so loving and warm that it felt nice to be with him, and his spark was beating faster and faster with anticipation. Starscream slowly entered Novaflames valve, pushing gently, slowly, tenderly into the sensitive opening, spreading it open. Novaflame gasped as he realized that Starscream was actually entering him, this was it, he was about to feel his beloveds spark nestled next to his as he feels Starscreams warm body next to his.

Oh Starscream, I love you with all of my spark, I had always dreamed of this day, and I always dreamed of it being with you, and that dream is now true. Novaflame said, lubricant welling in his optics.

I love you too Novaflame, I always dreamed of bonding with you as well my dear. Starscream said, giving his vows of bonding to Novaflame.

After the vows, the miracle of love and life began as their spark chambers opened up to each other. Spark energies pulsed against each other as they interfaced, Starscream moaned as Novaflames tight valve clenched rhythmically around his spike, making it swell bigger and bigger, and Starscream began moaning louder, as the sudden contact between sparks had made them even more sensitive to pleasure. With each passing moment, their sparks resonated with energy, and they were working towards synchronicity. Starscreams spike was very engorged and almost ready to overload inside of Novaflame.

Oh Novaflame, NOVAFLAME! I...I.....I....Oh by Primus! I'm.....I'm OVERLOADING! Auuuuaaagh! Starscream overloaded inside of Novaflame, jets of hot transfluids spurted from the sensitive tip of his spike as he rammed it in and out of Nova's tight valve hard and fast.

Novaflame was very sensitive, his own spike was rubbing against Starscreams abdominal plating and was throbbing desperately at the tender rubs that Starscreams plating was giving his spike. And the intense pleasure that Starscreams spike was rubbing into his valve was exquisite. He felt his own overload building up.

Starscream nodded as they continued overloading, his hips were slamming in hard and fast, his glossa lulled to the side as the pleasure built up. His spike was bathed in hot fluids as Novaflame's valve became very wet with its own juices as they mixed with those of Starscream's. Nova's spike was shooting thick jets of transfluids as well from the hot overload Starscream is giving him, making Nova moan loudly and writhe in desperate ecstasy.

Novaflame wrapped his arms and legs around Starscream, holding him close to his spark, making him feel safe and secure. Nova could tell Starscream really needed this, he sensed stress that was the result of years of abuse finally lifting from his spark as he held him close.

Oh Starscream, you were abused weren't you....... don't worry, I won't allow that to happen again, you will not be hurt for no reason, never again. Novaflame promised.

You have no idea, do not get me wrong, I do have feelings for Megatron, but not the same as the feelings I feel for you, him and I were frag buddies, and I still wish to be his frag buddy if you will allow it, if not, well, there is always Soundwave or Knockout he can frag. But I do wish he would stop taking his frustrations out on me, I wouldn't be so conniving and treacherous were he to treat me with a bit more respect. If only he kept me sated and happy, I would have not been plotting his end for so long. Starscream explained.

Yeah, I understand, I won't stop you from continuing your little romps with Megatron, but I won't allow him to hurt you, I know how strong he is, he can seriously hurt you, badly. If he hurts you by accident, I am willing to forgive, because he didn't actually mean to hurt you. Mistakes happen, and I can not blame one for making mistakes. But to hurt you on purpose....that is too much to bear, though I do understand why he feels threatened by your presence at times, you have tried to betray him in the past, he cannot be blamed for it, but he still could have dealt with it in a much more civilized manner, the fact he was so cruel to you about it is inexcusable. I can not forgive his abusive methods, but I can forgive his reasoning.... Nggh oh Primus! I'm overloading again! That feels exquisite. Novaflame said.

Oh Novaflame, I knew you would understand, and I have no reason to try and subvert him anymore, I have you. As long as he does not hurt you for no reason. Starscream said, his spike growing very sensitive again.

Starscream cried out as he overloaded again, this time his spike was more sensitive than the last overload, and his overload began closer to when Nova's started, he could feel their sparks synching up with each other.

Oh Nova! I love you so much! Starscream cried out.

Ngggh Oh yes, more, please give me more, I love you my beloved Starscream. Nova moaned and caressed Starscreams wings gently, making him feel nice and tingly inside.

Starscream cooed at the soft touch, it wasn't the same effect as Megatron had on him, Megatron knew JUST where on his wings that the most sensitive nodes were located, and could easily locate them to be stimulated. However he did enjoy it never the less, This was Novaflame after all, his beloved seeker. He knew that once Novaflames spark was in synch with his, he would know all the most tender spots on his body and know just how to touch them to give Starscream the most intense pleasure.

Ohh my wings, that feels nice, that is actually helping me relax even more, its been too long since anyone, even Megatron, had touched them. Starscream cooed while nuzzling Novaflame.

I am glad that you are at least enjoying my touch, I know your wings are not as sensitive as others, but I am sure that there is some way I can make you overload just by merely touching them, I just got to figure out where those tender spots are. Novaflame panted, his own valve was still tingling with overloaded bliss.

His servos wandered every inch of Starscreams wings, noting each response every time he found a node, memorizing just where he touched to make his body stiffen and his spike jump inside him. Every time he hit such a node, his servos would linger there and make him writhe and whimper under the intense touch, Starscream realized that their sparks were growing more synchronized with every passing second, and with every thrust of his spike into his lovers quivering valve.

Oh Starscream, that seems to be very sensitive, I noticed that your sensitive wing nodes tend to be concentrated near the tips of your wings, with a few particularly sexy ones scattered about the main part of your wings, and those sub-wings are also quite tender, I think I could make you overload by simply running my digits along the edges of your wings, another pleasure spot on those wings, rubbing a few choice nodes in the middle of your wings, then tenderly stimulating the tips of your wings. He realized he was still overloading, suddenly he felt an explosion of ecstasy as he felt a long, thick, juicy jet of transfluid exiting his lusty spike.

Auuuuaaaagh, oh my Primus, I think my spike just exploded that felt so good. Starscream screeched in desperate lust.

Well, you were the first Seeker that I ever really expressed this kind of emotion for, I knew that I must have you from the moment I laid optics on you, I knew that if I didn't have you, I would never be happy until I did. I would however, never EVER force myself on you, I would have more than happy with just being friends, and possibly frag buddies. Chapter 2: The Lonely Seeker.

Novaflame and Knockout helped carry Starscream out to the med bay, where he was placed on spark support to keep him alive, Novaflame remained by Starscreams side while rubbing his chest plate gently, doing all he can to sooth his pain. Knockout brought out the tools they needed for the procedure and then they began the operation. After three hours, it was over. Starscream was alive, and will pull through, they carried Starscream back to his and Novaflames room, where Novaflame can take care of him.

Oh Starscream, I am glad you are going to ok my beloved. I will want to know what happened, but not now, you have to rest and heal my darling. Novaflame said.

Ooooh, it hurts so much, did you really risk your neck in leaving to help Knockout? Starscream asked.

I heard about what happened and that Starscream disobeyed me, he will not be beaten, his injuries are too great, but he needs to be placed in the med bay till he is healed, As for YOU! You were told to stay in your room, and you disobeyed me. Megatron Fumed.

Please. Megatron, I was asked to help him, please, he was not qualified to deal with the wounds Starscream was suffering, he needed my help, I was the only one here who had the know how to save him, Starscream needed me badly. Megatron took Starscream into his arms and carried him back into the med bay, once again, leaving Novaflame alone in his room, shortly after Megatron left, a Vehicon entered the room to bring him some energon to fuel himself up, the tray had three fairly large energon cubes. Novaflame took the tray and consumed the energon, savoring the flavor. After a few moments, all three were empty. He put the cubes back on the tray and handed it back to the vehicon who turned and left. Then Novaflame rolled over on the berth and began weeping, he felt really lonely, and needed companionship. He scanned for a few off duty vehicons so he could talk to one of them so he did not feel so lonely.

Hey, I know we do not know each other, but I need to talk to someone, I am lonely and confined to my room. Can we just talk for a bit? Novaflame asked.

Chapter 3: The Coming of the Seekerlings

Three megacycles later, his belly was starting to get that characteristic sparkling bump. Knockout entered the room to check up on him, and to check the condition of the sparkling growing within Novaflames gestation tank.

Oh thank Primus, he is ok. I was very worried for three megacycles about him, no one since then gave me any word as far as his condition went. Novaflame said.

Knockout went on to examine him and give him lots of soft touches over his sensitive plating. Novaflame chirred at the soft touches that he was receiving during his examination, Knockout scanned his gestation tank to see how the sparkling was developing. The scanner picked up three very healthy seekerlings growing within his body,

Well Nova, you and Starscream are going to be the proud parents of three very healthy seekerlings, Ohh I cannot wait till they are born, they are going to be adorable. Knockout congratulated Nova.

What? Are you telling me I am carrying triplets? Wow, I am very happy, I want you to tell Starscream the big news. Novaflame said.

Knockout finished up, stayed for a little while longer to provide some much needed affection so that he would be ok, Knockout informed him that in a few megacycles, the sparklings will be due and he will be free to leave the room as needed. Three more megacycles later, Nova comm-linked Knockout stating that he was in labor.

Ugh, Knockout, I need you, the sparkling is coming, and its coming now, please get Starscream, I wish for him to be there for me. I want him to bear witness to our little ones being born. Novaflame asked.

Oh my, that is wonderful, I really think Megatron needs to be there to bear witness to this as well, maybe the sight of an three beautiful and innocent sparklings being sparked will get him to calm down about Starscreams insubordination. Knockout said.

Knockout grabs his med kit, then grabbed Starscream and Megatron to bear witness to the sparking of three adorable sparklings. Starscream rubbed his tummy gently while giving Novaflame soft words of encouragement.

Knockout gently rubbed Novaflame's belly, as Novaflame cooed lovingly, he kissed Starscream deeply as he felt another contraction rippling through his abdomen, he intaked deeply and pushed down on the vent, he felt the first sparkling entering his birthing canal. He was feeling a lot of pain, but he was happy none the less, he had his mate with him who was offering great affection towards him. As time passed on, he sparked three, absolutely adorable seekerlings, two mechs and a femme, Starscream made a series of chirps, chirrs and clicks at the little seekerlings as he picked one up, allowing Nova and Knockout to hold a seekerling in their arms.

Awwww they are so adorable, I think they are perfect, Starscream, thank you, I had never thought I would be so blessed with three darling seekerlings, and blessed with a real darling spark mate like you. Novaflame cooed.

Mmmm yes, I know, they really are something, I think we should be moving back onto your ship to raise the little ones. I could stay with you and report in at the Nemesis once a megacycle and Megatron can easily contact me to give me missions, so you would you like that my darling? Starscream said.

Oh yes, that would be a great idea. Provided that Megatron would be so gracious? Novaflame asked.

I see no reason to not allow it, I agree that it would be a good idea. You, Starscream and the little ones would benefit from it. That way they can get a good place to live, and besides, The Nemesis is not an ideal place to raise sparklings. The Novaburst would be the ideal place for the little ones, its in a nice spot, fairly safe, has a huge supply of energon, well hidden, its defensible and it will be your rules, not mine, what you do in your ship is your problem. Just remember, you have obligations to me, and I do expect you to come and fulfill them. Megatron said.

Yes, I understand my liege, I intend to, but right now, I think Nova and I could use the rest and help raise the little ones. Starscream stated.

I will allow you to have some time off to spend time with your mate and sparklings, but once the triplets are old enough that they can be somewhat self sufficient, you will be given missions, but you can return home after the mission is over and you had been debriefed. Megatron said.

I should get some rest now, Knockout is getting the low grade to feed to the the sparklings, as they are chirring and peeping hungrily. Novaflame said.

Knockout came out with the low grade and some sparkling formula, as for how he acquired it, nobody knows and would not be inclined to inquire about it. Knockout prepares the bottles and the formula and hands it to each of the three seekerlings as they suckled hungrily, this being the very first meal they had ever had in their lives. Novaflame was fairly sleepy and held the three sparklings close to his spark as they fed, he felt very content and happy that the three little ones were close to him. Eventually he drifted off to recharge his spent energies that was expended during the sparking process.

Chapter 4:Settling Down.

It has been a megacycle since the triplets were born and Novaflame was now well enough to move them into his ship The Novaburst, and Starscream was now living with them, providing their Gestalt with support and love. He found himself actually enjoying family life, and really was loving the idea of settling down with Novaflame, he no longer desired to overthrow Megatron, and had a real spring in his step as he finally got someone he can voice his concerns and talk about seeker stuff with, stuff that Megatron or any other ground dweller usually did not understand. Live was good for the couple.

Mmmm, you know Novaflame, you are by far the best thing that has happened to me, though, what are you going to do when we take over this world? I know you, you would not stand for that, and I do not wish Megatron to come after either of us, I am torn by this, it is either we work for Megatron, or fight him, and I want to know what to do, because I will remain by your side, regardless of what you do. Starscream asked.

Hmmm, Well if I can guarentee that my friends on the Decepticon side will be safe and/or treated fairly, then I would side with the Autobots, if we can convince Megatron of the same thing, I would join with him. After all, to be honest, I am becoming rather fond of your liege, he has been very lenient, but he has a lot to learn. I think that if given the right situation, he could break free of his current madness and see the errors of his ways, and work towards unity as apposed to our people being divided by factions. I see, well whatever things come to, I will be with you all the way, because the Autobots I suppose would be a little more kinder in their dealings with us than our lord and master would be. And I trust you enough to convince Optimus Prime to take us in. Starscream said.

Well, that will help us then, now that we know friends of yours are around. I am sure you can convince them to accept me in if you told them we are spark bonded, and that we have sparklings, should stop them from killing me on the spot. Coming to think of it, it's a real miracle that they were even sparked, The Well of All Sparks shouldn't be spitting out sparks anymore, the All Spark was sent off world to keep it away from us, and yet, three darling seekerlings now snuggle into each other as they play in their little play area, this is truly an amazing feat, I suspect these three were the result of three wayward sparks that came to us as we spark bonded, its not an impossible thing to happen, but still an uncommon occurrence, making it even more special when it occurs. We are so lucky for this, we really need to come up with designations for these little seekerlings. Starscream purred contentedly.

Starscream and Novaflame relaxed and rested as the little ones played in the play area, Novaflame turned out to have a bunch of old toys from back when he was a sparkling, all of which was given to him for when he was blessed with little ones by his parents. He had built a lovely cradle for each of the little ones, and built a small barrier to keep the little ones from wandering off. Life had been very good for Starscream and Novaflame. Five Meta Cycle later, Megatron had ordered Starscream back, only to find out it was to do something that he could not possibly follow though, he realized Megatron was wanting to cyberform the earth, he realized he would have to defect now, he was scared for the little ones, he was glad that Megatron doesn't know where the ship landed, and he had recently increased the shielding even more from Decepticon detection. Starscream flew home, and informed Novaflame what Megatron intended on doing.

Damned that slagger! He has gone too far, he wants to Cyberform the earth! That is it, we are going to the Autobots, we will be safe there. We must get the little ones and go there, I wish Megatron wouldn't take things this far, I care for him, but this is getting out of hand. Starscream fumed.

Novaflame went to his communications console until Starscream put his hand in front of him, barring him from doing so.

I know a few tricks to discourage Soundwave from bothering with it, I can piggy back a risque video of Megatron and I being rather naughty with each other. Soundwave I heard always has to went to his room after intercepting it, and the vehicons always went into a giggling fit when ever they caught it when they are monitoring the communications, and Knockout, from what I heard from VC-409, was actually caught massaging his spike at his console, while he was on duty, while watching it, by Megatron, who promptly rolled his optics at the sports car. So I can assure you, it works every time, they will not know who it is, other than that it was encrypted with some rather naughty footage of their master. They assume that it is some Autobot spy that they cannot catch, and the day they figure out its me who created that encryption is the day that pink winged buffoloids fly forth from Unicrons heat exchange. Meanwhile, at the Autobot base, Rapheal noticed a message for the Autobots.

Hey Ratchet, theres a strange message, source is unknown, but it is on a similar frequency as the one Starscream used. Raph said.

What does he want now, I will open it, he's probably got himself hurt again and has info for us. Rachet said before opening the message.

Attention Autobots, this is Novaflame, I am sure you remember me, but I am need of assistance. By Primus, its Novaflame! I haven't seen him in ages and he is in need of help it looks like. Anyways continuing on, My spark mate and I are in dire straights, Spark mate? Since when did he have a spark mate, bah, he probably found a fellow seeker while traveling. I don't know, this could be a trick, he could be a Decepticon, you did say fellow seeker didn't you? Arcee said.

Hardly, he's neutral, and a very noble soul, and so what if he's from Vos, he is a sweet spark who remained neutral so he did not have to hurt his friends, even though some of them joined either the Decepticons or the Autobots. Jacky and I helped him out, along with Ratchet and even Optimus, the poor dear lost his trine as well as his family, and was so badly traumatized that Ratchet had to lay down some TLC for him. Bulkhead said.

That is true, he was so traumatized that I had to share a berth with him just so he could sleep comfortably, and I did this because he was not even touching his energon, he was distrusting of everyone, and everything, he jumped at the slightest noise, and was otherwise very scared. He eventually collapsed from hunger and I knew I had to intervene or he could go offline from lack of fuel. Ratchet explained.

Ratchet replied that he explained to his team mates the situation and asked who his spark mate is, and about his family.

Novaflame, its been a while, though I do wish to ask you something, why are you using an encryption frequently used by Starscream? Further more, who is this spark mate of yours You also mentioned a family, there is no possible way you have sparklings, the Well of All Sparks is not releasing any sparks at all, and the likely hood of you catching a wayward spark, while is not unheard of, its also incredibly uncommon, I presume that is how it happened. Anyways that is besides the point, you need to tell me who this mate of yours is. Ratchet replied using the same frequency.

I will not lie, the spark mate I speak of is Starscream, he is willing to defect, he is doing this for us, and you are very correct on how it happened, I suspect it was three wayward sparks that wound up finding there way into my gestation tank, it was the most loving thing I had experienced, and now I have three darling sparklings. I also have information that might chill your sparks, Megatron is planning on Cyberforming the earth, I do not know how, unless..... By the All Spark, he is going after the Omega keys! That has to be it, that filthy slagger, and to think, I was beginning to see him as a friend...... I was worried this would happen, I only wanted to see him change his ways, but that won't happen anytime soon........ Novaflame replied.

Ratchet read the message and decided that this could give them an advantage, Novaflame was joining the Autobots finally, and they will have Starscream on their side.

Very well, you may come over here, do you have the means of housing the little ones? Ratchet replied.

I have a ship, but its right out in the boonies and not to mention I have no problem keeping myself fueled, I crashed my ship right into a cave jam packed with energon, I don't even need to leave my ship to get to the cave, my prow is breached and is right inside the enterance. I am more than willing to provide some, Megatron is not going to get anymore from me. Not until he stops this madness. Novaflame replied.

That is great news, that is the energon, we actually have a fresh source, though the ship being out in the boonies? Where exactly are you located? Ratchet replied.

In a forest not far from a small city called Jasper Navada, I found the remains of another ship out there though, a Decepticon ship. I was glad I crashed here, simply because it was so peaceful here. However, I feel so vulnerable here, even if we have a ship that is easily defended, we still got sparklings that are vulnerable, and we cannot risk a battle here. Novaflame replied.

I understand Novaflame, I know where that is, Jack has noticed a bunch of trees piled up there, and I had noticed that something just wasn't right about it, it didn't seem.....real. Ratchet said.

That's where we are, that is the disguise my ship has taken, we will take turns in holding down the fort here at the Novaburst, and the other will take care of the sparklings. Should worse come to worse, we scatter to the winds, Screamer and I will take the younglings, making a quick stop to gather supplies before taking my own landbridge into a random spot here. I will not see our seekerlings go without, I love them too much to see them suffer. Novaflame explained.

Well good, that other ship believe it or not belonged to Airachnid, Anyways, we will be bridging you in, I expect you outside and waiting for us when we open the bridge in two minutes, just grab the kids, then grab the rest of your things as needed. Ratchet instructed Novaflame.

Actually, that 8 legged wench is marooned on one of the moons after a freak accident resulting in her being turned into an energon vampire from what I had learned. Ratchet said.

Ok Starscream, I want you to grab Miracle Skies, Sky Strike and Air Surge and bring them outside and await the land bridge. Novaflame instructed.

Ok, I will do that, come here little ones, we are going to be visiting Nova's friends for a while, its ok now, that's it, there you go, lets go darlings. Starscream cooed softly to the seekerlings.

They were out within two minutes and watched for the landbridge. As it opened, they ran through and into the Autobot base.

Ratchet, Bulkhead, where's Optimus? Novaflame asked.

He is out on a mission, he should be back soon, I will explain the situation to him, that Starscream wishes to join us, proving that a Decepticon can become an Autobot. Though may I see these sparklings I have heard about? Ratchet asked.

Starscream nodded and handed them to Ratchet, who in turn looked them over, and was smitten by how adorable they were. just then Optimus called for a landbridge, the land bridge opened and in came Smokescreen, Miko, Wheeljack, and Ultra Magnus.

Ratchet, why are those Decepticons here? Ultra Magnus asked.

Actually Ultra Magnus, there is only one Decepticon here, the other is neutral, and I know him, Novaflame? What is going on here, why is Starscream here? Optimus asked.

He is my spark mate, Optimus, please, he does not want to fight you anymore, I have humbled his spark and he has someone to live for who won't abuse him. Novaflame said.

I see, very well, he may stay, but he must behave himself and not try and rejoin the Decepticons...... Ratchet, where did you find those seekerlings? Optimus asked.

They are Novaflame's and Starscreams, this is one of those rare times that wayward sparks find there way into a breeding couples gestation tank, they are very precious and need protection. Ratchet explained.

Alright, then it is settled, the seekers and seekerlings may stay here, provided they have a bolt hole to run to should things go south. Optimus said.

Yes, we do have a bolt hole should we need it, also I need need to make a few errands to bring some stuff for Miracle Skies, Sky Strike and Air Surge. Novaflame said.

Novaflame went and bridged back to his ship and brought over an assortment of things, ranging from sparkling care equipment, toys, bottles, low grade energon, home made sparkling formula that Nova has been making, his portalab, and some new equipment for Ratchet and himself to use at the new base. Once he was done, they bridged him back for the day.

There, we have a good amount of supplies for us, and for you as well, because some of that energon is for your use, I brought some equipment that Ratchet and I can use, and stuff for the seekerlings. We will be safe here, I am sure of it. Novaflame said before preparing to put the seekerlings things away, and to distribute the resources he is sharing among the Autobots.

Novaflame went into his room and found Starscream stroking a tender talon over Sky Strike's soft flesh, his breathing was shallow and labored, and he was coughing.

Hey, what's wrong with Sky Strike? Why is his breathing so labored? Novaflame asked.

I don't know, I fear he is not well, we need to get him to Ratchet. Starscream said.

I agree, if anyone can help him, it would be Ratchet. Novaflame said.

Novaflame gently scooped Sky Strike up in his arms and held him close while caressing his back over his air filters, and went into the main room.

Ratchet? Novaflame asked

Yes Novaflame? Ratchet replied.

Something is wrong with Sky Strike, his breathing is labored and he is coughing and weezing. Novaflame explained.

Hmmmm, that does not sound too good, hand him here, I will take a look at him and see what I can do for him, I am sure that some medical grade energon will help him none the less. Ratchet said while taking the seekerling into his arms.

Hey there little one, lets just see whats wrong with you so we can fix you up. Ratchet said in a cooing voice.

Novaflame returned to the other room and pulled a blanket over him as he laid down onto his shared berth. The other two seekerlings are in their cradles and chirred softly as they snuggled into their blankets.

Starscream, I am really worried about Sky Strike. Novaflame said.

We both are hun, but I know that he will survive, it's a good thing we have joined the Autobots when we did, had he gotten sick while I was still a Decepticon, he would not have survived, because face it, Knockout is not bad for an unlicensed doctor, but he might not know what to do in this situation, Ratchet on the other hand is a very VERY competent doctor. Starscream said.

I agree, he is very competent, and I am glad he is a friend of mine, or else you would not be safe here. Novaflame said

Miko Nakadai was curious, she had never seen a baby cybertronian before and was fascinated by Sky Strike. Though she could tell that he was not well and knew she should leave Sky Strike be so that Ratchet could heal him.

Aww he is so cute, if it weren't for the fact he's not feeling well, I would have loved to spend some time holding him. Miko said.

Yes, yes, I know Miko, thank you for understanding that this little one seems to have some serious problems, I am currently prepping him for a minor procedure, I noticed one of his air intake valves is not opening right in his air filters, and we need to fix that or else he could go offline and become one with the all spark...... and I do not wish to break that bit of news to Novaflame, it would surely emotionally destroy him. Ratchet explained.

Aww, poor thing, I just know he will be ok, and will make a speedy recovery. Miko said.

That's the point, now tut tut tut, I need to concentrate on this, this is a very delicate procedure, and if I am distracted, I could make a serious mistake and lose my young patient. Ratchet said.

Ratchet began putting Sky Strike into stasis so that he could fix him, he had some new tools to work with, including some very fine tools, which he did hope Bulkhead does not even think of looking at lest he accidentally breaks it. Sky Strike was now deep into stasis and Ratchet was able to begin, he made the delicate incision above the effected valve so that he could do the repairs, within a half an hour, the operation was done and he patched Sky Strike up and brought him into Starscream and Novaflame's berth room so he could sleep off the stasis anesthetic.

Starscream, Novaflame, I have some good news, Sky Strikes operation was a huge success, he will be in quite a bit of pain when he wakes up, and quite cranky from it, so do keep that in mind, I will be giving you a special medicine that can help ease his pain so he can rest, but he will be sore for a while as he heals. Ratchet explained and presented the freshly repaired Sky Strike.

Oh Sky Strike, my darling little seekerling! Novaflame gasped as he gratefully took the seekerling into his arms and held him close to his spark chamber so that his energy field would sooth him.

Well, we should give Sky Strike his medicine so we could Recharge finally. Starscream said sleeply.

Yes, I agree. Novaflame said.

Novaflame had Starscream prepare a bottle of medicine mixed with low grade and formula and fed it to Sky Strike, who started to feel better shortly after drinking down his night time meal. He slept well after that, waking up sore and cranky, it was time for a second dose of the medicine, which kept him happy and comfortable between doses.
