My eyes flashed open as I heard something creeping around my tent. Quickly grabbing my spear. My body is covered in sweat, Must have been having a bad dream. The sounds got closer to the front of my tent. Then I heard someone whisper something. Confused I call out. “Who's out there?” Talking louder now, I could tell it was Bill. “Its me, Brook snores like a hippo and there isn't any room in Lee and Lances tent. I was wondering if I could sleep in your tent?” This was bad. I am in heat and being alone with a male all night was a bad idea. But at the same time I didn't want to tell him no, He had been nothing but nice… “Yeah come in but uh overlook me, I can't sleep with clothes on.”

Bill lifted the flap to the tent and walked in. “Thank you Ash, I wouldn't have gotten any sleep if I would of stayed. So uh where should I Lay down?” I looked around the tent, there wasn't much there other than my bed and my few belongings on the ground. “With me.” Wait what? That wasn't what I meant, dammit I knew this was a bad idea. “Uh are you sure your dad…” I covered my face and spoke. “Im sorry im not myself at the moment. I uh… What all do you know about animals?” He looked at me confused and . “Not much Lee is the smart one.” I nodded. “Well We Kuia females have this thing every month called a heat… Do you know what that is?” His face got pale. and nodded. “Yeah uhm should I leave then? I can get Lee to go with Brook.” I shook my head no. “You can stay just uh try not touch me or… what's that smell?” I look around sniffing the air. until I see what the smell is coming from Bill has a slight bulge In his sleep pants. “Oh… Uh maybe you should go Its kinda getting hard not to jump you… Gods your hot… yeah go i'm sorry!” He looks down and see what i am looking at. “Oh my gosh i'm sorry, Yeah I’ll go!” We both stand and I walk to open the flap but ending tripping over my spear landing right on Bill knocking us both over. Letting out a gasp as something grabs my left breast. Moaning as It rubs over my nipple, Looking up I see Bill dazed under me. “H-Hey you ok?” I ask trying to hold back another moan. He looks at me confused then his brain began to process what he was doing to me. I couldn't hold the moan back anymore. His smell was much stronger this close to him, I couldn't hold back any longer. My body drove me not my mind. Planting a kiss on his confused lips gets him still. When I lift up his eyes are closed and his face is that of bliss. but then it changes into concern. “Uhm Ash I don't think this is a good id-” I cut him off with another kiss. “Shut up and kiss me” He gave up and reached up behind me and pulled my face closer, His lips were soft and felt nice against my maw, It was sorta awkward but it worked and I loved it. He moved his other hand to my other breast. Moaning into his mouth he slipped his tongue into my mouth. The feral pull in my lower body reached to my very core and I ground my groin into his leg covering his pant leg with my fluids. Lifting from his face I bark a command. “undress.” Still in the afterglow of our kiss he didn't hear me, running on pure instinct I grab either side of his pants and pull outwards until they rip exposing his under garments. Jolting back to reality he realizes my plan. “Hey! wait, wait, we barely know each other, This is a bit fast. I really don't think your father would approve of this. I do want to continue it's just I feel it might be a bad idea.” He had a point my dad would have a heart attack if he knew I had chose a stranger from another land as my life partner. I nodded and backed off him. “Y-Yeah you're right i'm sorry… Uh you can take my bed i'll sleep over here.” I pointed to the other end of the tent and began to walk over to the spot I planned on sleeping. “Ok uh thanks, But won't you get cold?” I turned back to him and shook my head. “No my fur can keep me warm.” He nods and lays down. in my bed as i curl up near the edge of the tent.

I woke up to yelling and thrashing the sun poured into the tent because the flap was open. Bill was being dragged out of my tent by a guard and could hear the rest of his team yelling in distress. I quickly jump up put on my breast plate and other armor and race out of the tent looking around. Lance, Lee and Brook were in their sleep wear one of the guards were holding Lil’ Byte and Lance seemed to be freaking out. “You let him go! Leave him alone, give him back!” Lee and Brook struggled to hold him back. The other guard had ahold of Bill yelling at him. I couldn't process what was going on. “Everyone just shut up!” I yell. Now all eyes on me I speak. “Tide Let it go before he pummels you into the ground. What the heck is going on with you Bill?” He shook his head and replied. “I have no idea one of them came to wake you saw me and this all happened.” I nodded and looked around, where was my father he would be the one out here taking care of all this. Maybe this was a test? “Guard let him go I don't know what you think he did but he didn't.” The guard loosened his grip but still held him. “But princess Ash Your father has fell ill. It must be them.” Confused and concerned I look at Bill. “Is what he says true?” Bill viciously shakes his head. “No! i would never do something like that! We came here to explore and learn new things, not overthrow a village.”his story made sense to me. Forcibly separating the guard and Bill I make my way to my father's tent.

Silk my best friend on the island was already there helping him. She was always good with this kind of stuff. “whats going on silk? Is he going to be ok?” She turned to me grim faced. “I do not know Ash, he says his chest hurts and burn and that his head feels like it is going to explode.” Rushing over to my father's side I try to comfort him. Then I get an idea. “Wait here I have an idea!” Before she could question me I was out the tent. Things seemed to have gotten worse after I left. Tide had ahold of Lil’ Byte again and Brook and Lee were not enough to hold him back. He ran into the guard knocking him to the ground freeing the little thing but Lance was pissed now. After a few punches to the face Brook was able to get him off him. Lee was back behind them scared out of his wits. Bill was walking over to Lee and I ran over to the both of them. “Lee! Bill said you were smart! My father! He's sick. Please help.” I was out of breath from running as fast as I did. “Uh I don't know much about medicine. But I could give him a look over. I'm pretty sure I have a book on common illnesses on the ship. Bill go grab it it's in my desk bottom drawer.” Bill nodded and ran off to their ship. I nodded and we made our way to my father's tent. “Here he is please help!” Lee nodded and softly whispered a hello to silk. “Uh hello stranger. Are you here to help?” Lee nodded and asked his, syemptomns? semptoms? whatever it was we didn't know what it meant. “My bad, what things are wrong with him?” Silk told him what she told me. My father squirmed and held his stomach in pain. “A-A-Ash c-come here.” I scoot closer to him “Yes father?” He tries to talk but nothing comes out. “What?” He tries again “I-if i die here today… Take care of the village.” his voice crocked and his body convulsed. I grab his hand. my eyes begin to tear up. “Father!” He could no longer talk his body tightened then laxed all at once. His hand fell limp. “Father?... Father!” I broke down into tears. Why did this have to happen! Silk put a hand on me as I wept over my father's body. “should I go?” I shook my head and launched myself onto him into a hug. He slowly wrapped his arms around me. “Uh? There there, It's gonna be alright?” He had no idea how to react and I just pushed this whole thing on him, I felt awful. Holding Lee tightly I cried my eyes out into Lee’s shirt. Lifting up sniffing. “Sorry I got your shirt wet.” He shook his head. “It's fine you do whatever you need. I remember when brook lost her mother she wouldn't leave her room for a week, she would only let me into her room.” I smiled and spoke. “You do know she likes you right?” In shock he looked at me to see if I was lying. “Really? how do you know? Did she say something!?” Laughing I shook my head. “I can just tell from how she acts.” He blushed and thanked me. Standing. I walk outside the tent Lee and Silk following behind me. Looking at one of the Tent guards I tell them to get everyone out of their tents and in front of me.” He nodded and did as he was told. Silk nudged me. “does this mean your chief now?” I didn't know. I guess I was. I nodded as everyone began to pile up in front of the tent. Lance cradled an injured Lil’ Byte, Brook lead him over to me and Lee. “Ey Ash what the heck's going on now? why is everyone gatherin up?” I just gestured for them to stand behind me with Lee. “My people! I have Grim news, My father has Passed away. And I guess that means i'm in charge. So…” I turn to Silk and grab her hand and pull her to be next to me. “I don't think myself fit… but someone who i have known all my life and i treat her as if she was my sister. I see her fit to be chief, So here she is your new chief.” Wide eyed she looks at me and mouths to me “Really?” I nod and she walks up in front of me. “Uh hi my name is Silk’ eye for those who may not know me… Uh go back to your lives I guess, we will have a burial later tonight.” My mother came out of their tent red eyed and wet matted fur around her face. “Hey dear. How are you doing?” I thought for a second. “I think i'm going to be ok. I just need some time.” She nodded and went back into the tent to mourn. two of my father's friends walked in as well. I didn't want to be around this any more so I went to my tent. Followed by the team they walk into my tent behind. then Bill follows in with a book. “I got th-... the book. I'm to late aren't I?” We all nodded and I tumbled onto my bed. Lance still has Byte in his hands but I can her him set the small thing down and it walks up to me. “I'm sorry sorry for your loss miss Ash. I send my condolences.” It chirped and limped away, it's broken leg drug behind it. “Come here buddy.” Lance said sitting down while picking him up. Bill comes and sits next to me. “Hey Ash, look at me.” I look up and stare into his green eyes. “I know it hurts not and i'm not saying it will fully go away but the hurt will lessen over time. On my way to the boat i had an idea. What if we take you back with us. to where we live. You don't have to accept but it's an offer.” They would really take me?! But what about the village? Silk had it handled they didn't need me anymore. “Really? you would take me?” Bill nodded and I smiled and softly kissed him. Brook oooed. and Lee laughed at her. I pulled back and smiled. “Yes I would love to go with you guys. I would need to pack the little amount of stuff, and there's a lot more of the island to explore.” Bill thought for a moment. “I think it would be best if we left. With the tragedy i don't think your people will want us here anymore.” I nodded and grabbed my few items and my spear. “uh how can i store my stuff?” I asked and Lee walked over. “I have a bunch of sample bags, since we didn't get any I could store your stuff in them and once we get to the ship im sure we have a spare chest in storage.” I nodded and handed him my things. holstering my spear on my back I stand and so does Bill. Looking at Bill I get an idea. “Go gather your stuff from your tents and meet me back here when you're done i'm going to change into that set that Bill gave me.” They nodded and walked out of the tent. Bill was the last to exit and I grabbed his arm before he could get to far. I pulled him back into the tent. “Woah uh yeah what do you need Ash?” Giving him a kiss and pulling back I speak. “If ‘us’ is going to work i have to let you know something… We Kuia breed for life, so If we become mates… yeah” He took in the information and nodded and he kissed me this time. “I understand and accept.” I nod “Ok go get your stuff.” He Kisses my cheek and walks out. I grab up the simi damp clothes and put them on. Stepping out of the tent I could see every one was there. Nodding to them I spoke. “Im going to go tell my mother what I plan on doing If you think it would be better if you were there then follow me.” Turning towards her tent I walk I hear one set of footsteps behind me I see someone i didnt expect. Lance and Byte were right behind me. Smiling to him and mouthings thanks. He just giggles and when we make it to her tent I call in. “Mother may I come in?” She doesn't respond. Walking in I see blood. a lot of blood and a hole in the back of the tent, rushing in i catch a glimpse of a tail flowing through the hole. running out spear now in hand, I see Tide running into the woods. Running after him Lance right behind me he powers ahead and scoops me up in his large arms. Looking up I notice something different about him his face is more serious and he has some kind of head wear and goggles. Looking at his other hand I see some sort of gauntlet. As he is running I spot Tide his reddish orange fur makes him easy to spot. “Over there Lance!” Bytes voice comes out his mouth. “I see him, I have a plan Miss Ash.” What the hell? was Lil’ Byte controlling him? i didn't have time to think about it as I saw we were heading right for a tree. instead of moving he held up his other arm. “Uh Lan- I mean Byte were heading right for a tree.” He grunts and runs faster. “I know” We were about a foot away from it when he let his arm fly sending the entire tree flying landing right in the path of Tide stopping him in his tracks. Catching up quick we corner him. “What the hell did you do tide!” Looking from me to Lance He realizes he's screwed. “Your family's reign needed to end. I just helped it along. Now that silk is in charge I can easily manipulate her to do everything I want. Like banish you and these flesh creatures.” taking it all in I tell Lance to hold him still. “This is for the village.” I slam my spear into his side, a few satisfying cracks can be heard. He yells in pain. “And THIS” I say as i stab my spear through his thigh. “Is for my family” He screams in pure agony. One swift knock to the head and he is out cold. “we should get him back to your village, Miss Ash” I nod and we walk back to the village Lance dragging Tide behind him. When we get back to the tent. Silk has the entire village gathered tears in her eyes. “I am afraid to say Lotus’ Mind has been murdered we don't know who it was bu-” I yelled to her and Lance held Tide up. “We Have the culprit.” Silk looked as if she could kill and that was scary. All of the adrenaline has pumped the sadness out of me and now all I wanted was revenge. “I may not be chief but I decree we hang him.” Silk nods and Lance hand him over to the guards. “Here you are officer” Byte chirps as he deconstructs back into his original body and Lance comes to. The others rush over. “Are you ok?! DId he hurt you?!” Bill yelled as he ran up and hugged me. “Miss Ash Is fine Bill, But I believe it would be a good idea to leave, The politics of the village have been flipped on its head, We can come back later in the year if the king will fund us.” I looked at bill and he nodded. “Yeah we should be leaving.” Brook stands beside me and places an arm around my shoulder. “I can understand how you feel, I lost my mother when I was younger. Lee is the only way I got through it. You have friends here for you. If you need to talk Just come to one of us, ok?” I nod at her and lick her cheek. “thank you. I’ll keep that in mind.” Smiling she wiped her cheek. “No problem girly” Lee walked up to us and put his arms around both of us pulling us in for a hug. I never realized how short Lee was until his face was compressed between mine and Brooks breasts. Quickly pulling back. “Oh my gosh i'm so sorry! I-I didn't mean to do that i was just…” Laughing at how red his face was, speaking through my laughter. “Sure you weren't just trying to get close to Brooks boobs?” Laughing more because his entire face was red. Brook was holding back laughter. “ No! Wait brook, That wasn't… I'm sorry.” Brook smiled at him and pulled him into a hug pressing his face into her chest. “It's ok ya dumbo, Wasn't like i was complaining.” Letting him go his faced was dazed and full of bliss. then his face freezes. “Wait what?” Everyone but Lee laughs. It seems all the ruckus brought Silk over. “Uh hey ash, Whats going on with these guys. Im sure you have already guess the village wants them gone, They don't blame them, They just need time to mourn.” They all nodded and gestured to there packed bags. “Uh Silk I gotta tell ya something, I… I plan on leaving with them, Staying here is just going to remind me of my parents death, So i'm leaving.” Taking the information in she nods her head. “I understand I will tell the people, Are you leaving before the burial. Im sure the people would want you to say some words.” Looking at the group They shrugged. “Up to you, It doesn't matter to us, we could take our stuff to the boat and you could meet us there afterwards.” Thinking about the plan I nod. “Yeah, ok let's do that, I will see you all on the boat after the burial.” The picked up their bags and left. Following Silk she led me to the door of our families tomb. Looking at me she Lights a torch and six guards carrying my parents coffins We all walk in and down the stairs of the tomb. going through the many rooms we finally get to the one for my parents, The guards lower the coffins into their respective holes and slide the tomb cover over them. Nodding We turn and we exit after I saw a few words. “Father, Mother, Im going to miss you but I also can't stay, If I do I will be constantly reminded of your deaths, But dont think Im going to forget you, I have Grandpas Spear body and I have your old hair brush mom.” Tears begin to roll down my cheeks. “Ok lets go, Im done.” Silk wraps her arm around me and pulls me tight. “Im gonna miss you.” hugging her back I kiss her forehead. We make our way out of the tomb. Saying my goodbyes I grab the bags that Lee provided me with packing my things up and putting my armor on over my clothes. Placing my spear on my back I walk out of my tent and tell the village goodbye.

Pushing my way past the outer brush that leads to the beach I see the boat with Bill waiting by the ladder. Getting closer He notices me. “Hey Ash, did everything go ok?” nodding I grab his hand and pull him into a hug. Pulling our heads back he puts a hand on the back of my head running it through my hair. Softly kissing me he lets go and gestures for me to climb. I grab onto the ladder and pull myself up, Bill following behind me. On board I can see there there are a lot more of these people then just Bills team. “Woah… I was unaware that you had so many other people on here… What if they don't like me? Oh maybe this is a bad idea…” Bill walks behind me and Hugs me from behind, kissing my neck. whispering he says. “they will love you, you don't have anything to worry about. I have already told everyone that you would be joining us.” I nod and he lets me go. “So where am I going to sleep? because this has been a draining day I could use some sleep.” He goes to speak but then he stops to think. “You're still in heat I presume?” I nod “Yeah I will be for another week or so or until… you know… happens” Nodding he thinks some more. “Well You could sleep with me my bed is plenty big enough, Or I could make a Cot in the storage room, I'm gonna leave that up to you. Because for the whole sex thing i don't mind helping you with your heat.” Nodding I giggle “Really now, I'm pretty sure any male wouldn't mind helping me, But I would rather it be you. So I’ll sleep with you.” nodding while stifling his laughter. “So uh could you take me to your room? Im tired.” Grabbing my hand he starts to lead me but someone walks over. “Hey Bill, this one of the natives? Damn she ain't half bad looking either.” Blushing I shuffle on the spot, are all of them this forward? “Uh yeah she's also going to be joining us, where were you when I announced this?” Shrugging the man says he doesn't know that he's glad for me to join the crew. Bill told him goodbye and we walked below deck, after a short walk Bill opened a door on the left and inside was a large bed a desk covered in papers and other thing, other then that there was a box in the corner with clothes and other kinds of cloth sticking from it. “Sorry for the mess, I’ll clean it up later.” Shaking my head I say it's fine and to take my armor off, As i'm pulling my shirt off someone knocks on the door and walks in. “Uh hey Bill wants to see… you uhm I’ll tell him you're busy with your new friend.” And She walks out. I look at Bill and his face is red as a beet. “Uh oops” I say before walking over and kissing Bill on the cheek and grabbing his hand and pulling him to the bed. Sitting down on the bed I pull him on top of me and pull the covers over us.
