Chapter II - Saki Le'Lune
#2 of Walking down the path of life - James and Saki
James meets Saki. They have a rough start, but you can't fight against fate. Just hope James can deal with Sakis feelings for him.
I'm standing in front of the mirror, and like every morning, I look horrible. 'I don't know you, but I still going to wash you at least...' runs through my head. I pick up the toothbrush and put some paste on it, and start doing my morning ritual. While still having my toothbrush in my mouth, I pull down my panties and step into the hot stream. It doesn't take very long and I can feel my purple fur soaks full of water and my white hair starts flowing into my view. I need to get my hair cut again. I but my head back and let the water run over my face. Nice and warm... and so relaxing. Someone knocks on my door. Well... not really knocking more trying to kick it in. "Commander Le'Lune, you are needed in the office. ASAP! They have a new one." I sigh deeply. 'One fucking day. Can't I have a calm morning at least ONE FUCKING DAY!' I turn off the water and put some shampoo on my fur. 'Fuck this shit. ASAP does not mean I can't finish my shower. I am already wet so what does five more minutes make a difference. I put the water on again and rinse the soap off. I step out of the shower and grab my towel, lay my toothbrush aside and dry me off as fast as possible. I put my toothbrush back into my mouth and start scrubbing my teeth wile I step into the full body dryer. Warm air plays about my naked body and soon I am completely finished. I spit the toothpaste into the sink and wash off my toothbrush, watching the toothpaste getting flushed, too. Then I get dressed and leave my small room. Living at the training camp has at least one benefit: I don't have to pay rent and it's only a few steps to my work.
I am at my boss's office, knock and walk in without waiting for an answer. "Commander Le'Lune on duty, sir." I don't salute we are still the same rank. "Good morning Saki." My boss hands me a small folder. "We got a new job for you. This person is responsible for at least twelve attacks on the servers of the BND, the Bundestag and several political parties. He made a mistake and we know where he is. Operation starts in two hours." I open the folder. "Sir? That's a teenager. He's nineteen and looks like my nana could catch him. Why is my team sent to take him into custody?" My boss smiles. "Because we are going to scare the living shit out of him. He tried to break into several governmental IT systems, and he is classified as terrorist. Someone from the new ACC unit will brief you in thirty minutes on Room F-14C." I nod. "Ok sir, understood. And Matt, next time, please give me something more interesting. Hunting nerds is not very thrilling.". Matt smiles, but doesn't reply. I take the folder with me and slowly walk towards the said room. F-14C is about twenty minutes from here. Enough time to walk past the small bakery and get a coffee.
I am still holding my coffee in my paw when I walk past the reception in building F. "Morning" I mumble and nod to the lady at the desk, chewing on a small cheese baked roll and pass the turnstile. I put the roll in my mouth and open the door to the rooms 1-20. I turn my head back to the reception, having a look at the new face sitting there, and bump into someone. A red panda? What is he... she(?) doing here. Then I see the access card on his chest. '>>James Cinci, AAC IT Forensics<< - James? So... a guy. Wow. He really looks like a woman. Kind of cute, somehow.' "Sorry, my bad." I spilled a bit of my coffee, but nothing serious. My fingers feel hot, but my coffee is already cooled off, so it's not painful. "My bad... I didn't see you". James looks down while, for some reason, I can't take my eyes of him. He looks like he's VERY uncomfortable with this situation, like he's afraid of someone points with a finger on him and exposes him to an unknown crowd, cheering and making a fun out of him. He is a bit chubby, but not too much, and a little bit shorter than me. His hair looks a bit fuzzy, but still good. Then he looks up and... DAMN! I nearly dropped my coffee. Those eyes... He looks like they have seen some very bad things, like they are afraid of something but still... They are the mother-of-all beauty. James turns his head and looks down again. "I need to go to a briefing. So... I am sorry. I will buy you a new coffee later." He turns around and walks down the hallway. "Hey..." 'his name... his name... damn...' "...James!" He stops and turns around. "Yah?" those eyes again... I walk up to him, choking the bite of the roll down. "F-14C?" He looks at me a bit surprised. "Yes. How do you..." I smiled. "I'm also in for this briefing." James eyes widened. "You?" He continued walking down the hallway and I followed him, right next to him. "Yes. I'm Saki. Saki Le'Lune." James stopped again. "You are Commander Le'Lune?" He looked at me with big, surprised eyes, but only for a second then they darkened and showed... shyness? "Yes. I am. You look a bit surprised." James continued walking. "Well... I was told Commander Le'Lune is a very strict person. A soldier and a 'badass'. I'd expect someone... else." His voice sounded a bit like he was disappointed. "Someone else? Who did you expect, if I am allowed to ask." I smiled at him again. For some reason, I really liked that guy. Even If he looked like a very young boy. "Well... I don't know. I think some huge muscly and more of a bear kind of man. At least not a lady." He said this in a... strange kind of voice I couldn't figure out if it was meant to be as a compliment or not. But nevertheless, I felt a small stitch to my heart. He called me a lady. No one ever thought of me in that way. I was always a comrade, best could be... a buddy. "A lady?" I instantly regret saying this. I was excited and my voice made me sound like I was offended. James pulled his head between his shoulders. "Y-Yes?" His behavior made me feel bad about myself. Then I smiled at him, trying to fix my mistake. "Thank you. No one ever called me a lady." I tried to sound happy, but even if I did, he was not getting it, but he smiled a bit. At least I thought it was a smile. We walked up the stairs to the second floor. "So, you work for the Anti Cyber Crime Unit?" I tried to start a new conversation. James nodded. "Yes." I waited if he continued, but he remained silent. "Since when?" James was still staring at the stairs in front of him. "I don't know. Two years?" Silence again. Maybe I had to take the lead. "It's true what you heard about me. I joined the military when I was eighteen. I served for eight years and then I resigned. I joined the special forces because it seemed to be fun. Instead of driving through deserts, I can fight in cities and catch criminals instead of killing people." James nodded. "I hate soldiers. I hate the military. If someone uses violence, they are too stupid to settle their differences with words. Nothing, absolutely nothing has the right to hurt someone or to end someone else's life." I was puzzled. "But we are only defending ourselves. I never attacked..." James cut me off. "And the other side? Everyone sees his actions as legit and reasonable. It doesn't matter who threw the first stone. Violence only brings more violence. No matter who or why it started." I was surprised. 'This is how the first impression can lie to you. He is a shy one, but he has his views.' "So, you say we just shall let the bad guys go on as planned?" James stopped again and looked at me. "No. As I said, whoever uses violence is too simple minded, too stupid to settle his problems in a civilized way. They behave like... savages. Brainless idiots. But still, there is no need to kill them. We should stop them, yes. Stop them before they hurt someone in their blind rage. But as I said, no one has the right to take someone else's life." We reached the end of the stairs and James turned left. "I agree with you. Killing someone is not a good thing. But what would you do if someone attacks you with a knife, clearly trying to hurt you?" James looked down again. "I run away." The room we were heading to was coming closer and I wanted to end this conversation, but I couldn't. I didn't want to accept him seeing me as an evil person. I didn't want him to hate me. "Sometimes violence is needed. Sometimes you can only fight fire with fire." James opened the door to the Briefing room. "Maybe."
The briefing was not very interesting. It was more a short summary of what our target had done and why he was classified as terrorist. Nineteen years old, and his life was already over. But quite impressive anyways. Attacked the German intelligence service, hacked into the servers of some political parties, stole their credit card data or bank accounts and even managed it to make them pay for his life without them knowing of. Maybe because he always picked those which had to hide something. Like an affair? Some of the presented credit card bills showed things like costs for hotel rooms and jewelry. 'Social Engineering' - his victims never reported these sums, because they were afraid of their dirty little secret went public. Clever guy. "... and this is where he made his first mistake." James showed another picture. "He made a typo, the bank investigated this and contacted us." The picture showed a credit card bill. 3000€ for a stay at the hotel 'tRitz'? That was a bad typo. "We had a look into this and found a lot of... contradictions. Payments which didn't make any sense. In one case the owner of the credit card paid for two weekly shopping's, one in Berlin one in Karlsruhe. Time between the payments was five minutes..." It was quite boring to hear all of this. For some reason, I couldn't take my eyes of James. While he was briefing us, his shyness seemed to be gone. He got lost in details when he explained on how he tracked him down and followed his steps. 'He's a cute one. I'm wondering on how he is if he's not standing in front of twelve heavily armed and armored members of the GSG9. I listened to James briefing for the rest of the time we had until we got the exact situation how and when we had to take him into custody. And then I realized why we got the job. "He's sitting in front of our door at the moment. But it's not an easy catch. He works for some organized criminals in Mannheim. He knows we are after him and so he hired some protection, offering him to work for them. I could tap his phone since he has a weakness for clash of clans so we know his GPS location, as long as he doesn't go to his phone settings and turns it off. He can't and then he will realize what's going on. We track him for three weeks now. I really hope this will end today." James closed his laptop. "Any questions?" I raised my hand. "Want to make a bet?" James looked a bit surprised. "A bet?" I grinned. "Yes. If we catch this guy, you will have to celebrate with us." James looked not very happy about it. "No thanks. I think we all should do our job as good as we can." He picked up his laptop and left the room. We did same. "Ten minutes, commander". My squad leader looked at me and I nodded.
Half an hour later we were on site. Our van drove into the street while the police were blocking the roads. Mannheim. I visited this city a few times. Quite nice and organized, but not where I wanted to live. We parked our van at the side. An unsuspicious, white and unlabeled, but armored transporter. The squad leader nodded. Nothing suspicious outside. No one at the windows and no guards. At least it looked like it. We opened the door, and got out. We pressed against the wall next to the entrance. I gave the sign and we went in.
Two of my team opened the door and went inside. I entered right after them and the rest of my team followed. Our in-ear headphones crackled and I could hear a digitally morphed voice. >>Second floor, ten meters on the right hallway, second door to the left. <<. I was confused. Bad reception from our mission lead? Anyways. They got newer data. We sneaked up the stairs and besides a very shocked looking elder lady there was no one seeing of us. Second floor was completely empty. Like a typical Wednesday afternoon everyone's at work and the houses are empty. We arrived at the door and got in position. >>Wait. One guy at the other side of the wall of yours literally standing next to you. Armed. Shotgun or rifle. One person at the other side of the door, also at the wall. Armed. Uzi or smaller sized automatic weapon. In the Apartment, room to the left. One person. Unarmed but weapon on the table. Distance about one and a half meters. Target in the room to the right. Two guards. Armed, armored with a bulletproof vest. - They got warned! << FUCK! I bit my lip. We were about to get fucked. I tapped my receiver. >>Mission control, is there another entry? << I heard the voice of my mission lead as clear as day. >> Keep your radio silenced damn << I was surprised. What the heck was going on? >>In the next apartment is a locked door. It leads to the left room of this apartment. If we synchronize our actions, there is a chance to surprise them. << I laid my hand on my ear again >> Who the fuck is talking there? << I got an immediate reply. Just not the one I was hoping for. >> Saki shut your muzzle! You put the whole operation on a risk! << I bit my lower lip in anger. >> I will help you. You can trust me. I unlock the door to the next apartment. << I turned around. Whoever that voice was, I heard him before. Or her. The way of speaking... I sneaked to the next door. It WAS unlocked. After I slipped inside I walked over to the room on the right. There was a huge double-winged door in the room. I kneeled down and used my fiber-optics. One person sitting on a chair, reading something on a tablet and a table about a meter on his left. I turned to my team, gesturing them to get in position. We loaded our weapons, filled with rubber bullets. They wouldn't kill, but they could knock someone out if you hit them. I took a flashbang onto my hand and pulled the ring. As soon as I would throw it, I would have five seconds to cover. I was ready. I could hear something inside the other apartment. "Hey, what is this?" I heard steps from the room behind the door to the living room. "Looks like a drone. But that one looks badass." More steps, then a bright flash, reflected from the windows. "FUCK! That thing nearly blinded me! Who the fuck is controlling it?" >>NOW! <<
I kicked the door and the old wood gave in. The doors were slamming against the walls inside the other apartment and my team instantly opened fire on the on the huge tiger standing in the living room while I threw the flashbang through the door into the living room. "FLASHBANG!" I yelled and turned around, covering my ears. I could feel the bang and see the flash through my closed eyes. I instantly turned around and aimed into the room with my gun. I slowly walked into the living room, still dust flying through the air from the explosion. The two guys next to the door were sill laying there, their hands on their ears and screaming in pain. The flashbang broke their eardrums so they were not able to tell where's up and down. They were no harm. The huge tiger was laying in the middle of the room. One of the rubber bullets hit the back of his head and he was also passed out, bleeding from his ears. Just the two guards in the room in front of us. "THIS IS THE POLICE. LEAVE THIS ROOM IMMEDIATELY!" I knew they wouldn't come out. >>They are aiming at the door. << "Hey, what's this?" I heard one of the guards. Then a shot and glass breaking. I knew it. If I wasn't going in now, this mission would fail. I kicked the door and instantly fired my gun, I hit the right guard at his arm, causing him do drop his weapon for a moment, the other guard was still aiming at the window with his shotgun and I got him while he was turning his gun to shoot at us. This time it was an aimed shot and I hit his forehead. The bear was falling backwards and hit the floor. "SAKI!" One of my team members fired his gun. I could feel the bullet flying just millimeters away from my neck and knocking out the first guard which got his gun back up ready to shoot. The wolf also hit the floor.
After things calming down my team cuffed the people in the apartment, while I laid my hand on my ear. >> Mission control, Commander Le'Lune. Mission succeeded. We need the cleaning unit. << I put my hand away. >> Target in custody? << I looked around. >>Wardrobe. << I grinned. And walked over to the old wardrobe. Built into the wall. I opened the doors and found a young husky, his tail between his legs, his arms raised. "Please... I give up!" he was shaking heavily. >> Target in custody. << I put my hand down again. "Dude, now you are in trouble." I put my cuffs on the boy's wrists and lead him outside. I gave him to the police officers which pushed him into a car, locking the doors. I turned my helmet off, shaking my hair. Then I saw it. The little drone was laying on the footpath right under the bursted window. I walked over a picked it up, turning the not so small quadcopter in my hand and eyed it from all ankles. Then I saw the small camera at the bottom. The small red light was still on. >>Congratulations Commander Le'Lune.<< I smiled, reading the small Logo next to the camera. ACCU-JC1 - Anti Cyber Crime Unit. I laid my hand on my ear again. >> Thank you. Were you watching us all the time? << A short pause. >>Yah. This drone has a full surveillance set, recording infrared and other ranges. << I grinned. Now I knew who helped us. >> Thank you... James. << I smiled at the camera and blew him a kittenish kiss to the camera. The clicking in my ear told me, someone cut the line very quickly. My grin went bigger.
Back in the office, my boss congratulated me. "Well done Saki. It's not just about your instinct, looking for the target in the second floor instead of the first one, you also avoided their trap and managed to smoke them out without killing one of them. A few injuries, but according to their weaponry... damn. That was outstanding." I blushed a bit. "Thank you, sir." He turned around and faced me. "But there is also something which worries me a bit. Mission control said you broke the radio silence?" I looked down. "Sorry sir. Must have been some kind of Jammer. For a second I heard a voice in my ears. I thought it was Mission control, but it was all fuzzing and sound like a jammed radio signal." He nodded. "There was some strange signal sending near our frequency. We will give this to our specialists to have a look into this. You can leave Saki. If someone earned a few days, then it's you." He pointed to the door and nodded. "Have a nice evening." HE said to me in a calm, warm voice. "Thank you, Matt. I could need some sleep. But I have to do something first." I checked my smartphone. It was a few minutes past 4pm. "One question Matt. Do you know how long the Cybercrime unit is here?" Matt looked up from his papers in his hand. "I think around five. Why?" I smiled. "That's what I have to do sir." I turned around and left. I closed the door behind me and walked down the hallway. I had almost one hour left. I picked up the little drone from my room. The red light was still on. "Are you spying on me?" I said to the camera. The camera was moving from left to right and to the left again, repeating its movements. "So, you leave the camera on for fun?" The camera was making its movements again." I was heading towards my car. "Then why do you keep it running?" The camera wasn't moving. Then I realized. How could he. "Is it broken?" again the camera was shaking from one side to another. "You can't turn it off?" The camera was moving up and down now. "Let me guess you have to turn it off by hand, don't you?" Again, the camera 'nodded'. Shall I turn it off?" No movement. Then slowly the camera moved from side to side. I grinned. "Like my face huh?" Silence. No movement. Then... slowly... the camera moved up and down. I nearly hit a tree by staring at the little drone without watching the street. He likes my face? How damn cute. And using a drone to tell me. Such a nerd. My right foot pushed the pedal down a bit more and my car picked up speed. Just thirty minutes left.
I parked my car on one of the visitors spots next to the entrance of the ACC building. I jumped up the stairs and entered the building. "Commander Le'Lune, GSG9" I told the grumpy looking lion at the reception and showed him my ID card. He nodded and pressed a button. The heavy metal door was buzzing and I could enter. I followed the lines on the floor, leading me to different sections. Online scammers, phishing, Dark web... Damn I was totally lost. Then I saw something moving in an office at the very end of the hallway. I hurried up and knocked at the door, opened it and put my head inside. "Excuse me, I am a bit lost. Can someone give me hand?" I smiled at the three quite young hyenas in there. One of them got up from his chair and walked over to me. "How can I help you miss...?" I smiled at him. "Le'Lune. I am looking for..." - "Le'Lune? Commander Le'Lune?" He interrupted and surprised me. "Yes... why..." - "OH!" He took my hand, shaking it happy. "Commander Le'Lune. Congratulations on your today's success. We all are so happy this is over now. Wo worked the last six Weeks on this case. And then, seeing it in the news that this tiny little bastard was caught..." He seemed to talk forever. I raised my hand. "Sir... I need to..." - "Oh of course. Sorry. I tend to talk a lot. And especially if I meet someone like you, I..." he realized it and stopped. "How can I help you, Commander?" I smiled at him. "I am looking for James Shinshi." I hope I pronounced the name right. The hyenas face lightened up. Obviously because he could help me. "James?" He grinned. "What does a lady like you want from our femme fatale?" I was a bit confused. "Femme fatale?" the hyena was wishing his paw around like he did a bad joke. "Oh. That's just how we call him sometimes. Because he looks like a woman." He bended a bit closer to me, whispering. "And to be honest, he is at least a half one." He winked at me. "James is in the network tracers team. They are down in the basement. Next to the server room. Down the stairs, left hallway down to the end." He smiled at me and I nodded. "Thank you." I made a step back and closed the door. 'Well, that was awkward... What did he meant by 'at least a half woman'... strange' I heard my own thoughts in my head and walked down the stairs. It was dark down here. Just a few lights tried to scare the shadows away but the room at the end was surprising me. It looked like the inside of a spaceship. Thick cables running over the floor like snakes, biting into Computers and monitors. And there was James. I spotted the red panda at the very end of the room, hidden behind a huge wall of electronic devices. I cleared my throat and he looked up.
"Commander Le'Lune." He got up from his screaming green rubber ball he used as a seat and walked over to me. "I didn't expect to see you here." I moved my arm from behind my back and presented him the drone. "I had the feeling you might want this back." He looked at the drone in my hand and then straight into my eyes. GOD. I could stare into these deep dark eyes all day and night. Loosing myself into them and I would be happy, never finding back and be there forever. His words pulled me back to reality. "I thought you send it here by a courier..." He took the drone from my paw and turned it around. He flicked a small switch and the red light went off. Then his eyes and fingers were wandering over the small wings of the propellers. "Damn I knew it." He ripped one of the propellers off and looked at the cables. "That guy hit the control unit." I followed his eyes and saw it too. The green card module underneath the propeller showed a small hole. "Can you fix it?" I asked. "Yes. It's not a big deal. I am just frustrated that my little eyes here always get hit by these idiots. I mean... a Pump gun. Seriously? It's a drone. Unarmed. Harmless." He put the drone on the table, trying to stick his fingers into the small metal frame to get the electronics out. "Did you meant what you said earlier?" James stopped. "What do you mean?" From one moment to another, he was a completely different person. The energic nerd, pissed about some bogans damaging his toy was gone and switched places with a very shy young boy, not able to focus on what he's doing. "I mean when I asked you if you liked my face. You put the camera up and down." My words were hanging in the air like some kind of smog. Then... very shy. James looked at me. Ashamed, like I caught him secretly masturbating to pictures of me. I smiled at this image in my mind. For a second I wish I would have caught him by doing this. What was going on with me. Why did I feel such strong feelings towards this guy I barely knew? "Yes..." his voice was nearly a whisper. "I think you are... a... pretty lady." He turned his face away. For one moment, I felt my heart literally melting. I wasn't speaking a single word. I know If I let one word, one tone leave my lips, the moment was gone. I made a step closer to him and laid my hands on his chin. His fur was so soft... I slowly turned his head. Forcing him to look at me again. His eyes... were looking into mine. So much shyness and cuteness... I laid my other paw on his cheek, caressed it a bit and then I laid my lips on his'. Gently. Carefully like if you want to kiss a flower. I let my fingers run through his hair, caressing the back of his head and his neck. I could feel him shivering and shaking. His heart racing in his chest. And I felt the same. My own heart was racing, hot and cold shivers ran down my spine when my lips touched his'. I let my tongue slide over his lips, asking for it without words and my heart skipped a beat when he opened his mouth and I pushed my tongue into his muzzle. I was pulling him a bit closer. I could feel how he wanted to wrap his arms around me like I wanted to pull him into me and turn this kiss into a never-ending experience. MY hands caressed his neck while I explored his muzzle with my tongue, searching and yearning for him. Why was I so damn into this guy... What happened to me that I felt such a huge addiction to him? I finally found his tongue and tried to play with him. My heart got heavier when I realized he was not picking up the moment and his shyness still kept him in her claws. I caressed his back. Pulled him more into me and wrapped my other arm around him, holding him close into me. Then it happened. James laid his fingers on my cheek and stroke me. Slowly he got a bit more into it. He licked my tongue and soon we both were caught in a moment of ecstasy, of pure bliss. I opened my muzzle a bit more, inviting him to explore my muzzle the same way I explored his'. And he did. He still was shivery and shaky and I could feel him wanting more. He kissed me like no one ever did. And I forget about everything else. Sharing a moment like this, with a guy like him. After I met him not even twelve hours ago... If someone told me yesterday that I would stand in a dark room in the basement of a building full of nerds, totally lost in a never-ending kiss and feeling like I was melting away, I would have bursted out in laugher. But now... I still hold this red panda in my arms. Hearing the sounds of our kiss and the dance our tongues perform together. My paw slides down his back while my other one still caresses his neck. His arms wrapped around me. Shyly holding me... I purr deeply into the kiss. My paw reaches its destination, and the tingling feeling in my crotch demands it. I grab James butt and squeeze it lightly. I can hear a muffled moan into my muzzle and now it's about me to shiver. Slowly... I start to see what just happened. It sinks in. I get aware of it. And I can't deny it anymore.
I fell in love with this cute red panda with the most beautiful eyes I ever saw.
...and I want him in my bed.
