I get out of bed and charge downstairs "Mom can I walk around town?" I ask "Sure, Hun just be home
before dinner" "Thanks, mom" I say and walk out the door, I walk around Pottstown which is a city of basically
nothing but cracked sidewalks, smashed windows, rusted lampposts, way too many cars and drunks.
All I can think about is the buck and his... what am I saying, no not that anything but that...
I walk from one corner to another then another in search of what I have the slightest idea
I stumble into a bar and there he stands hunched over the bar drink in hand, I blush, back out slowly
and run as fast as I can back down the street I can't go back there...
I walk and walk and walk some more until I come upon a restaurant, content
I walk inside, sit down and order a coffee for some unknown reason and sip it gingerly,
oh god this is awful I think to myself, when the waiter passes by again I order a Coke-a-cola
suddenly the bell above the door clanks, and in the buck walks, he is then thrown out as soon as he walked in
the restaurant's owner yells "And stay out you d*mn filthy animal!" I stare out the window feeling bad for the buck.
I then watch as he dusts himself off and walks away...
