The day had subsided into a quiet afternoon, the sidewalks of the college full of the bustling bodies of undergrads coming off from their last classes for the day. For some, their homes and various dormitories were their destination, and for others it was time to study.

Being that the week had just come to an end, there was an air of excitement that had fallen over the campus. Various students talked happily among themselves as they grouped up and went along their way, discussions often turning to weekend plans and upcoming events. Fall was in full swing and the mid semester droll was well underway. All of the students were feeling the strain that a full load of classes was bringing on all of their shoulders.

Tests were being prepared for and semester long projects were being started in lieu of the end of the semester. Truly it was a busy time, and perhaps no one else felt this more than one buck that was racing across the campus, his backpack bouncing with each bounding step as he cut through lawns. His stride was well balanced and thorough, like a well trained track runner that was used to placing high among races.

Indeed he was a very fit individual, having a lean, runner's body that carried him gracefully. In all, he was quite handsome with a burgeoning ten point rack of antlers above his head. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt and form fitting jeans, both of which meaning to stave off the encroaching cold of the season.

He rushed with determination, his destination set at the far end of the campus for a building that was fairly hidden and not very often gone inside, save for the professors that had their offices out of it. It was also the only place in the entire college that the math tutoring room was located, a place that hardly anyone would ever visit. That fact was more so, now that no one wanted to be in a twenty mile radius of the campus. It was also the one place that he needed to be, as he was a tutor. A late one at that.

He hit the front door at full force, fully expecting it to be the kind that opened inward but instead bounced backwards onto his rear. Shaking his head to loosen his disorientation, he got back up and sauntered in like someone who didn't completely fuck up his entrance. Finally at the mercy of a few flights of stairs, he took two steps at a time as he rushed up through the stories with the same speed as before.

He was breathing incredibly hard by the time he got to the top flight, about four levels in the air. He took a moment to rest as he leisurely walked down the long hall towards the large, green door at the far end. While he was most certainly late for his school appointed job, there was another urgent matter to deal with at the moment. Early that morning he had received a text message from a number that he didn't recognized with a picture attached that shouldn't have been there.

Now thrown into a situation that was between a rock and a hard place, he had no choice but to comply with whoever's number had demanded they rendezvous at his place of work. He had wondered why at first, but he quickly realized the truth. The math tutoring room was an extremely remote location that doubled as a study room for anyone, of course, needing help on the subject. At this time it was likely the most abandoned place in the entire college, not even the professors that had their offices in the adjoining rooms had bothered to stick around for office hours.

His suspicions were confirmed when he nudged himself into the room and glanced around. While there wasn't much as far as space for the area, it felt larger than normal with all of the empty tables and desks. Off to the side there was another room, one that was a bit smaller and more remote, meant to be a quiet area for professors that allowed late tests to be taken. The buck recognized right away that the room was occupied as light beneath the door crevice escaped. He could also hear mumbling from the other side.

He swallowed hard and stepped closer, his hoofed hand reaching out to the round knob and turning it. It came away with a click, and as the door swung open, two others were revealed. Each was taller and more muscular than the deer, though that made sense, as they were very fit stallions. One was pure black with hardly an imperfection about him. The other was a snow white horse that tapered to a light brown on his forearms and nose. The two were lounging about, the black horse resting on his side and spread across the lone table of the room while the other sat reverse on a chair.

They had been chatting quietly among themselves until the newly arrived buck came in, making them both turn their eyes up and share a grin. "Well, it's about time!" the charcoal stallion laughed but didn't bother to move as he rested his cheek against his propped up hand. The white horse did get up though, and quickly stepped up to where the tutor stood, nervously frozen. The buck's body went rigid as if he were expecting to be hit, but instead found that the looming male had just bothered to close the door behind him.

"Ash, was it?" the black horse asked as he withdrew his cellphone from the pocket of his shorts and began to flip through the different apps on its screen.

"Y-yeah?" he mumbled, obviously intimidated. He had shrugged his backpack from his shoulders and clutched it tight to his chest. His eyes darted to the side and watched the white horse that continued to stay near, a knowing smirk plastered over his face and a hungry glint in his eye.
