Byin sighed as he pulled the bucket from the well, looking back his town in the distance, Byin had to hurry before his wife and daughter started dinner without him. Byin was born and raised in the village of WestWind, a settlement between Mongual and Parros. It was where he met his beautiful wife Ayia. After wedding she gave birth to a beautiful girl named Cyia. The life they shared was noting more then paradise. He then turned towards the settlement in the distance.
And Paradise died.
He saw a column of smoke raise up in the distance. Dropping both buckets of water and made a mad dash as the town burst into a wild inferno. Eventually after running through the war ruin streets he made it to his cottage and burst open the door, passing a recently planted Mongual flag. The smell of burning blood piece his nose.
"Gods...No...No!...Why did...Did..." Byin stumbled to his knees. His eyes watering before roaring out.
"MONSTERS!!!!"
Byin woke up, from that same nightmare. "Damn Mongual Humans...." He said clutching his head as he suppressed the pain. He then got up and slid his robes on before donning his mask. Byin left his room walking towards the main chapel. There on the step was his friend...The one who would help him let go.
"Good Morning Byin." Zoden said seeing one of his followers approaching him. Byin saw the chain leash and the pet at the end of it. Shidoh was now a sorry sight, the cat mask has completely fused to his flesh as he was on all fours, wearing only a loincloth.
"Good morning, Father... How is Guin's pet?" Byin said before kneeling down to scratch Shidoh's neck. The broken feline purred at the attention he was receiving, before Byin pulled away, the cat grabbed his hand before gently kissing Byin's knuckles.
"Well, trained. Soon young Nekoh will be ready to serve our lord and savor..." Zoden said before gesturing to Shidoh, now known as Nekoh. "Look, he now understands his place and courtesy, Although his mind has reset he began to learn basic language."
"I heard you were going to be reborn today, Master Byin." Nekoh suddenly spoke in a child like voice, and all rements of Shidoh's old personalty weren't present. "I hope you and I can serve our lord and savior to the fullest."
"A much better improvement then your old self..." Byin said before patting the boy's head.
