#4 of A Perfect Slave

Ton loved Japan. He'd loved it from his childhood, and he loved it now. It didn't matter that he'd learned everything he knew about it from videogames, movies and anime, nor did it matter that the Japan he romanticised about hadn't existed for over a thousand years. In his heart, he was a Samurai.

Today, Japan was known as Akijo-Suke. Shinji and Yuki had rebuilt the land out of the nuclear wasteland of the Old World. They liked anime too.

Ton wandered along the sidewalk, pausing to watch a mecha-walker stride by, the massive machine dwarfed by the even larger buildings around it. Flickers of light raced high above, and walkways criss-crossed the sky like spiderweb. His eyes flicked from one Fur to another, noting the oddness of them. The words "pokémon" and "digimon" would best describe the inhabitants of Akijo-Suke. Not that many people knew those words anymore. Only a handful. Only those who'd lived in the Human world.

Eventually, after having to explain at length to a rather pushy Gatomon that he was not interested in a tour of the city, he reached a quite ordinary looking doorway. Pressing the buzzer, the door was quickly opened, and he was visciously assaulted by a psychotic young woman in an apron.

"Ton, oooh it's so good to see you!" Yuki cried, dragging the somewhat shocked Ton through the doorway and slamming it behind her, "Shinji! Shinji! Ton's come to visit!"

Ton pushed Yuki away as politely as he could, "fruit loops, chill, you're scaring me."

Yuki gave a cute giggle, and wandered into the main room. She was short, four foot if that. If it weren't for the tail, ears and leathery pads on her hands and feet, you'd swear she was human.

It was also hard to believe that Yuki had a kill-count in the hundreds.

Shinji, not sharing his mate's explosive energy, swaggered casually into the room. An attractive lapin, his features only slightly spoiled by the scar across his right eye, he welcomed Ton with a nod. He didn't say anything, the two had said everything hundreds of years before.

Yuki bounced between them like a pinball, poking and pulling until both were seated on the cushions in the centre of the room. "So, Ton, what brings you to our neck of the woods, hmm? Been anywhere nice, done anything exciting, meet anyone c- OW!"

Her deluge was silenced by a jab in the ribs from Shinji, "talk less, and he might answer."

Ton smiled, "I'm here on business, as always."

The hosts shared a worried look. Shinji broke the silence, "Ton, I've heard rumours about you. I hear that you're back to the old ways. I hope it is not true."

"It is, I'm afraid."

Yuki sighed, Shinji simply shook his head.

"I know the two of you don't like it, but the fact is that the Humans left a lot of work still to do. I was in Caroma just two weeks ago, tracking a pickpocket ring who were packing heat. I got a dozen firearms, mostly American-made pistols, but they had some Ay-Kays too. There's worse than that out there still to find..."

Shinji nodded wordlessly to Yuki, who got up and headed for the kitchen. "I suppose it is to be expected, Ton. After all, just because we outlaw firearms doesn't mean the criminals won't get them. Even if nobody makes them anymore..." Shinji's eyes caught the merest flicker in Ton's gaze, "...who makes them, Ton?"

"Americans."

Shinji swore, "Bastards! Worthless human bastards! I told you, Ton! I told everyone! We should have erased the last of the human race when he had the chance! But no, your Council has to go all soppy on them!"

The silent anger hangs in the air. It takes a long time to dissipate, even with sake.

"Yuki, Shinji," Ton purrs, "I am sorry. I am sorry for what I have to do, and the grief I cause you because of it. You don't want trouble, but I bring it..."

Yuki smiled, shrugging dismissively. Shinji's gaze said enough.

"...I'll be gone in two days," he downed the cup in one gulp, "then I'm going home. There's a young women waiting for me to help pick a school for her sister."

He stood up, heading for the door. Shinji called to him just as he touched the handle.

"Ton... we aren't stupid. We keep track of how the world turns... and I know you've spent a lot of time in Sauria. Promise me, promise you won't break the Oaths we all made."

Ton opened the door, "only if Naga doesn't break them first."

The island of Lio was experiencing an unseasonably hot day.

Rin was enjoying the weather, lying naked on her stomach in the garden. Ton's house had huge gardens, and despite being there nearly two weeks now, she hadn't gotten around to seeing all of it. She'd picked a spot next to one of the fish ponds, and spent the morning tossing breadcrumbs to the large goldfish, giggling as they munched on the damp bread. Ashley wandered over, stroking Rin on the back to make her look up. Patches of the girl's fur were damp with sweat simply from being out in the heat.

"Do they have names?" Rin asked, referring to the fish.

Ashley shrugged, "why don't you name them yourself, hun?"

"I did," Rin giggled, "That one's called Chocolate, that's Goldie, that's Whitey, Skippy, Blinky..." she looked around the pond, "Hidey is here somewhere, but he hides a lot."

"Hence the name," Ashley laughed, "Oh, there he is!"

Sure enough, a white fish, its face flecked with brown and orange, darted from the reeds to swallow a lump of bread before vanishing from view once more.

"He's just shy."

"Well, shy or not kitten, I've got to go to work. You going to be okay here all by yourself?"

Rin nodded, "I'll be fine, sis. My friends will keep me company, right?" she dipped her fingers into the water, causing the fish to scatter.

Ashley kissed Rin's head, "I'll be back as soon as I can. There's sandwiches in the fridge, and ice cream too."

Rin smiled, "thanks, sis!"

Ashley wandered back into the house. A few minutes later, she emerged at the back door again, "Hey, Rin, if you see Ton's watch, let me know. It's the silver one with the blue ring around the face. He wanted me to get it fixed, but I don't know where he left it."

Rin nodded, but didn't look up from the fish. "I will!" she answered.

The Oath... Ton couldn't help but wonder how long it would last.

We who stand here...

The sun had set at some point, hidden by the skyscrapers. Akijo-Suke did not sleep, it simply turned neon lights on.

Created for War...

He walked along, focussed entirely on his mission. By dawn, there would be blood spilt. Once more he had to drive steel into another man's flesh.

Shall usher forth a new era of peace...

Fate sucked.

By never again taking up arms against our fellows...

A rushing Ivysaur nearly knocked him to the ground. The giant staggered, as did he. The pair locked eyes for a moment before the Ivysaur managed an apology.

_he rushed in Akijan.

[Entirely my fault,] Ton replied diplomatically, giving the incident no further thought.

Never again shall Gestalt kill Gestalt...

He paused at an alleyway, looking down the unlit path. He could use it to cut across to Starre's house. He hadn't seen her in years. It would be nice to see another friendly face. Starre had a crush on him once, as he recalled. She'd welcome him. She'd understand him. She was a friend, and he needed one right now.

Let the age of Fursons be one that lasts forever._

Rin pushed the door open slowly, like an explorer opening a tomb. She was disobeying Ashley now, and that made her feel a little guilty, but she figured there was no harm in looking. Besides, Ashley said she couldn't find Ton's watch, so he must have left it in here. She was being helpful.

The room was a cross between a bedroom and an office. A desk was pushed against one wall, the drawers all locked. A blank notepad and a blue pen rested upon the desk, an empty waste-paper bin was next to it. On the far side of the wall was a dresser, sitting beneath the window. Adorning it was a sword-rack, holding three blades of increasing length. They were thin swords, slightly curved, each kept in a polished black sheath. Next to the blades was an old globe. Rin wandered over and span it gently. The names on it were strange, and she didn't recognise them.

"France... Germany... Russia... Australia..." she tilted her head to one side. This 'Europe' looked a lot like Aracia, and the other places matched up too. The Whitelands, the Black-Ash Wastes, Akijo-Suke... her finger traced across the world, running down to where Sauria should be. The two islands, Sauri-Major and Sauri-Minor, were labelled under different names as well.

She turned her attention to the pictures on the walls. Most had Ton in them, stood with people who Rin assumed where his friends. They were normally in some exotic looking place, and a lot of them involved a young woman. When Rin took a closer look, the woman seemed to look quite a lot like her, with red hair, white fur and a wide, happy smile on her face. It was almost creepy, and it made Rin want to know who the woman was. Was she an older sister? Or even her mother? She couldn't remember much about her family... she was sure they cared for her, but they'd sold her into slavery. Even now, when she was trying really hard, she couldn't picture their faces.

She slumped onto the floor, pressing her back against the bed. She wanted Ashley with her now. This discovery was upsetting her. She wanted answers, and all alone there was no one to give them. A though struck her, maybe the woman was related to her, and asked Ashley to buy her. Ashley did treat her like a little sister, and they lived with Ton, who knew the red-haired woman... it made sense.

Feeling a little better from this revelation, she turned to the dressing table, and noticed another photo. It was lying face down. Rin lifted it up, and looked curiously at the picture. It was of two young humans, both about fifteen, playing on a beach. This one puzzled her even more... and was enough to convince her it was time to get out. She closed the door behind her, and headed downstairs to get the ice cream Ashley left her. She could ask about the red-haired girl when her sis got back.

"You still think of Red, don't you?"

Ton nodded, reclining on a red-leather sofa, "I miss her every day."

The other speaker was a female Renamon named Starre. Her fur was fox-like in colour, with soft black fur on her stomach. A pair of half-moon spectacles rested on her muzzle. She peered over them at Ton.

"How long has it been since she..."

"Died?"

"...I would have preferred a softer word."

Ton smirked, "why? She's dead, what better word describes it..." his voice fell a little, taking on a hollow tone, "a long time. Three-hundred seventy four years, eight months, five days..."

Starre smiled, trying to lift the mood, "that's a long time to be mourning, Ton. You should move on."

Ton sighed, taking a drink from his glass, "I've tried, believe me. Red was my world, Starre... she was everything to me. You wouldn't understand. No offence, but you're not like the rest of us. You're the last, you never even saw the war."

Starre laughed, "Hence my name, right? Eve Starre... the Evening Star of the Gestalt." She gave Ton a warm smile, "Can't say I envy you guys. Killing people isn't my thing. I'm just glad I made it through that nightmare... anyway, let's not talk about the past. How about something more cheery?"

As if waiting for the cue, a young male entered. It was clear by his dress he was a slave, though he certainly didn't seem to be objecting to his position. He placed himself on Starre's lap, and snuggled into her fur. What seemed odd, to Ton at least, was that he was human.

"This is Thomas. He's been with me about a year now, much to my delight."

Ton gave his purring laugh, "Coincidence or design?"

"I like the name."

Ton laughed again, helping himself to another drink, "Be honest, did you have a crush on me?"

Starre paused, "...well... once, yes. It was different then. You were famous. You all were. I was only sixteen, and you know what young girls are like, fawning over celebrities. They only just had me Enhanced before it all kicked off. I'm glad of that..." she smirked, "but let me be clear, It's over. No offence, but I've outgrown my old fantasies."

"I would have slept with you."

Starre laughed, and threw a cushion at him, "get out! You're evil, you know that?"

Ton nodded, "Absolutely. Are human slaves legal here?"

"Yes, they are," Starre began to stroke Thomas' head, pausing the conversation to show the slave some affection, "I know they aren't legal in your neck of the woods, but we Akijans don't pretend the past never happened. We move with the times."

The clock chimed. Ton looked up at it and sighed, "I've got to go or I'll be late. Chobi sends his regards."

Starre watched her friend leave, and sighed. Thomas looked up at her, sensing his owner's concern.

[Mistress, what is wrong?]

[Someone's going to die tonight,] she replied sadly,

Rin was sat in the garden again, wondering what to do. Like many fursons before her, she began to get bored, and looking for something to do turned to her body. She'd been naked all day, which in itself had given her just enough of an excited tingle to make her want to try something more.

An idea formed in her head. She wandered over to the trees, picking one with a suitably low branch. Satisfied it would do, she went to the bedroom to collect a few toys. She took a soft, strong rope, her finger-vibrator, and the big yellow feather Ashley had tickled her with a few times. Taking it all back to the garden, she picked up an ornament, an odd little rocking figure made of wood. It was solar powered, from what she understood. She hadn't really liked it, but Ashley said Ton had found it, and kept it for the oddness of it. The ornament was placed underneath the branch, and Rin went to fetch some sellotape. Taping the feather to the rocking piece, the tickly feather swished back and forth. She stood on her tiptoes and waddled over it once to test it, and loved the feeling of being tickled on her privates.

With that in place, she tied a double noose in one end, then tossed the rope over the branch and secured it. All the while she sucked on her toy, getting it nicely lubed. Satisfied everything was ready, she slipped the vibrator from her mouth to her tail hole, pushing it in slowly. She felt the inner bulge slip in, her anus closing around the recess designed just for this to happen. Now the dildo wouldn't slide out, but it wouldn't go further in either; the wide base saw to that. She played with the settings a little, settling on a speed, then began to climb. She only had to go up a little way to reach the hanging rope, and she slipped both hands through the loops, hopping to the ground as she did. She landed just where she wanted to, her legs wide apart with the tickler between.

It was then Rin realised the problem she'd caused herself. When she hopped down, the rope tightened around her wrists, preventing her from wiggling free, and it was tight enough that she had to stand on tiptoes. She'd got herself stuck, and she wouldn't be able to get free until Ashley or Ton got home.

Despite this problem, Rin's laughter filled the garden. The feather swished back and forth, teasing her clit and labia. Bound as she was, she couldn't even squirm away from it. Swish-swish, swish-swish, the long yellow feather rhythmically teased the kitten's sex, flicking her clit and running along just inside her sex. Rin wiggled and giggled, begging to be let go, despite there being no-one to help her. The toy in her tail hole purred constantly, pleasuring her as much as the feather teased. By the eighth flick on her clit, her sex began to moisten, and her laughter was blended with moans of pleasure. Her little nipples hardened quickly as cool air began to blow across her naked body, adding a short but welcomed third source of pleasure. She humped at the dildo in her ass, loving the feel of it and wishing she'd set it higher. The feeling of being so helpless, and being teased like this was wonderful for the girl, and she briefly felt a pang of guilt between giggling shrieks that nobody was watching. The twentieth flick against her clit caused a sudden surge within her, and she felt her climax building. With no way to control her own climax, she could only squirm and gasp as she reached her peak, and soaked the ad-hoc tickler beneath her with juices.

No sooner had the orgasm passed than she began to moan and whine again. The tickler and dildo kept going past the orgasm when she really wanted them to stop. Trying to get some respite, she lifted her legs off the ground and gripped the tickling pole, sliding it forwards. Dropping back down, her slit was now safe from torment, though she felt tired hanging like this. She hung her head and panted, closing her eyes and blushing, feeling the arousal slowly returning. As her slit began to tingle once more, and the air filled again with the scent of her dripping slit, she slid the tickler back under herself, shrieking and giggling once more. Even if it was torture, it was fun torture. She wasn't sure how long she squirmed, writhing and laughing, until once again her orgasm drew near. She tucked her legs up this time, causing the dildo to twist inside her. That was enough to make her orgasm again.

Sliding back her tickle-toy once more, she hung as limply as she could, rocking slightly on her feet. She didn't know how long she'd been tied up like this, but she was getting tired, and her bladder was full. Looking up, she decided to try and get out of this situation. She gripped the rope and pulled up, twisting to grip the tree with her legs. It was hard, and her arms ached unbearably, but she pulled herself up enough to get out of the binds, and collapsed back to the floor. Rolling over and rubbing her rump, she pulled out the dildo, turning it off and dropping it on the grass next to her. She curled up, exhausted, and lay panting until she felt strong enough to move again.

"Next time... make the rope longer..." she sighed to herself, wiping a paw across her slit and sniffing it. She licked at it, lapping up her juices, and repeated it two more times. She liked the taste.

She was also surprised to find she was still horny. Her treacherous mind began considering fun things to do with a full bladder, and she decided to explore a little. She walked right to the edge of the garden, where a high wall marked the boarder of Ton's house and grounds. There was a little shed there, and a compost bin. Another idea formed, and she wandered over to it. Slipping off the lid, she was welcomed by the warm smell of decomposing vegetation. She sat on top, and slid herself over to slip her rump into the hole, finding it fitted surprisingly well. Playing with her tail, she looked around, embarrassed at doing this, though no one could see. There was no one to see. After a minute or so, she relaxed enough to relieve herself, and a damp tinkling filled the air as her piss added to the compost. She giggled, feeling almost proud of her deed, and quite aroused by it as well. She slipped the lid back onto the bin, and looked for other ways to keep herself amused.

She settled on a simple finish up. Heading back to where she'd left her toys, she settled down in the shade, lying on her back and began to tease her sex with gentle strokes of her fingers. Her free hand ran up her side, and she began to purr softly from stroking herself, and teasing her own well-worked sex. Her fingers slowly began working her hard nipples, and two fingers snaked their way deeper into her sex. She gently and slowly stroked her inner walls, moaning and gasping as she touched her sensitive spots. After fifteen minutes of slow, gentle pleasure, Rin peaked for a third time. Sighing with pleasure, she curled up on the warm grass, and fell asleep, her fur still sticky with her own juices.

It was like waking up from a nightmare, only to find it was real.

Not that Ton was troubled by violence. Slashed arteries, punctured organs, snapped bones, guts exposed to the sky... none of that bothered him. Seventeen furs had died to his knives, seventeen lives extinguished in bloody fury.

It had taken him just five minutes to complete his mission. Now he had a pair of pistols tucked into his belt. Evil weapons, truly evil. The first thing the Gestalt did was ban them, locked those they could find away and vowed they would never see the light of day. Swords, axes, knives, bows... those weapons took skill, and were only truly dangerous in the hands of a good warrior. Anyone could kill with a gun. Despite the laws all nations adhered to, there were always those who held these weapons, and would use them. They had to die. There was always war...

...and he did not shy from it. He had no fear of killing, or of death. He never had. Shinji Kaburagi, Xi Fu, Bullet-Dragon, Chobi, Red... they all feared death. They buried it, hid it and pretended it didn't exist, but they all had the fear. He did not.

I wish I could be like you, Ton, I wish I had no fear...

The voice echoed from his memory. What had he said?

"No you don't."

I do... I'm going to die, Ton. We all are. Sooner or later, we're all going to die.

"Not me, Red. I'm going to live forever."

In his minds eye, he saw her. Red, walking towards him with those sad, tender eyes.

I wish I could...

"You can. You will. I'll make sure of it."

The phantom took his hands, and made a sighing-laugh. So, you'll be me knight in shining armour?

"Yes, Red. I will. I'll move heaven and earth for you."

You'll do anything

"Anything."

The ghost of Red was right in front of him now. He could almost smell her hair, taste her lips that he imagined to hover just inches in front of his own.

Then live, Ton. Live forever, and never leave me.

"I never will. I'll never leave your side. I am yours, Red, now and forever..."

He leaned forward to kiss her, but there was no one there to kiss.

"...Red... I'm sorry. I'm sorry I never lived up to my promise. I'm sorry I wasn't the man I should have been," Ton's voice was but a whisper. "Red... come back... just give me one more day, one more hour, one more kiss..."

[Look here; we've got a weird one. He talks to himself and everything!]

Ton turned, and was confronted by three unfriendly characters. One was a Mewtwo, carrying what appeared to be a half-brick in a sock. Another was a Wargreymon, eight feet tall and muscled to perfection. He had a zanbato resting on his shoulder. The third was a Jackal a head shorter than Ton, who held a crossbow.

"Problem, gentlemen?" Ton asked, looking from one to the other with total calmness. They'd start circling he knew it.

And they did. The Mewtwo went to his right, the Jackal to his left. He turned to keep the Mewtwo, clearly the leader, in sight.

[Hmm, a foreigner eh? Not that it matters, you'll still be good enough.]

Ton sighed, [Documents?]

The trio simply laughed. Ton smiled at this, [Ah, unlicensed. Gentlemen, you picked a fucking-awful time to break the law...]

The Mewtwo was probably going to give some hollow threat. Problem was that he couldn't speak at that moment. In a heartbeat Ton was on him, ramming a fist into his chest. You could hear the bone splinter. Turning fast, he let a dagger fly, slamming through the Jackal's skull. The Wargreymon readied his sword, but Ton was too fast, darting under him. He jumped, grappled the giant's head, and twisted. Crack.

It had lasted all of four seconds. Ton examined the corpses with disinterest, pausing only to retrieve his knife.

"Three more, Red," he muttered to himself, twisting the blade to free it. Crimson blood bubbled from the wound, and shone on the edge. He wiped the droplets off on the Jackal's sleeve, "How many more will it take? How many have to die before we truly have peace?"

When the corpses didn't answer, he left them to rot. He had a plane to catch, he wanted to go home.

Ashley found Rin asleep in the garden, along with the toys. She had to admit, she found the homemade tickler quite cute, and wondered about getting one properly made for the girl. She tidied everything away, and cleaned it all up. Finally, she ran a bath before waking Rin from her nap, carrying her upstairs to be bathed. The nap returned Rin to her usual energetic self, and she convinced Ashley to play a few board games with her after tea.

"When's Ton coming home again?" Rin asked, rolling the dice and moving her piece.

"He should be home again tomorrow morning. Why do you ask?"

"I wanted to know about the red-haired woman in the pictures."

Ashley looked puzzled, "Pictures? What pictures?"

"In... his room..." Rin answered, looking a little worried.

Ashley sighed, "Rin, you know you're not allowed in there," her voice was strict, though she made sure not to sound too cross. She didn't really want to punish Rin, so she'd ignore it until Ton got back, then see how he felt.

Rin simply looked sheepish, "Well... she looks like me. I thought maybe we were related... maybe she's my mother or a sister..."

Ashley looked up at the ceiling in thought, the game forgotten for now, "I can't say I remember a red-haired woman... but Ton is older than me, I've known him since I was a kitten. I'll ask him when he gets here, alright?"

"Alright," Rin answered, and returned to the game. They said no more about it.

Ton arrived home at midnight. He headed straight upstairs, assuming the girls were asleep. He was pleasantly surprised to find Ashley waiting at the top of the stairs.

"Hey Ash," he smiled, "what's up?"

Ashley brushed her chestnut hair out of the way, "Well... Rin was looking around your room today. I asked her to find your broken watch, you see."

Ton nodded, "Sorry, I took it with me, should have told you." He gave her a casual glance, "she break something did she?"

"No," Ashley replied quickly, "just looked around."

"Good for her," Ton headed for the room. Ashley was a little worried at being shrugged off like that... it wasn't like him to do that.

"Ton, is something wrong?"

He sighed, nodding, "The woman I love is dead, Ash."

"I... I'm so sorry,"

He shook his head, "She died a long time ago. I just..." he opened the door, tossing his luggage inside before facing Ashley again, resting on the doorframe.

"Ash, I wish you well in life, you know that. I truly hope that one day you will find someone perfect, someone so wonderful that you will want to spend every waking moment by their side..." as he spoke, Ashley could see the shine of tears in his eyes.

"Ton..."

"When you find that person, never let them go."

The door clicked shut, and Ashley was sure she heard crying on the other side...
