Playmates
A squirrel boy and a Wolf boy have some fun at the playground! :D
Commission for Bubbles Prime
A little squirrel played in the sandbox, humming idly to himself as he made vaguely castle shaped lumps of sand. He didn't notice the approaching shadow, until he was suddenly pounced and pressed into the soft sand. He squeaked as he went down, and wiggled a little.
The attacker licked the back of the rodent's head, a playful childish voice cooing, "I caught me a squirrel!"
The squirrel giggled softly after a minute, "Y-Yeah, you did." He was let up gently, and could now see his assailant was a wolf cub his own age.
The wolf was wagging, looking very pleased with himself. He was a pudgy boy, his little tummy round and soft looking. "That means you're mine now!" The pup grinned broadly.
The squirrel smiled, "Sure, why not? We can play together!"
"Yay!" the wolf threw his paws up in the air, wagging energetically, before hugging the sandy squirrel, "What'cha playing?"
"Just makin' a landscape in the sand... imagining the awesome things that take place there..." The squirrel blushed, looking over his slightly crushed imaginary domain.
The wolf grinned, "Oooh! That sounds fun! Like how this valley might have once staged an epic ambush!"
"Yeah, and though they were caught off their guard, the good lads from Castle Grimblewald were able to push off the bandits and return home unscathed!" The squirrel said excitedly, happy someone else was taking an interest of his rather cerebral method of playing.
"Where's Castle Grimblewald?" The wolf scanned over the sandbox...
"Oh... uh.. you pinned me over it." The squirrel blushed deeply.
The wolf whined and crawled around to next to the squirrel, starting to work at the sand, "Don't worry, I'll fix it!"
The squirrel watched in surprise as the wolf worked to make the castle all better, and was amazed at how his new friend was able to do with dry sand. Soon enough a much more blatant castle was sitting in the box, "Oh wow..."
The wolf wagged, then smiled, "C'mon, let's go play on the see-saw!" He pointed, to where the see-saw had just been vacated by another pair of kids.
The squirrel perked, and before he could affirm or deny this suggestion, the wolf was tearing off across the playground, to get to the see-saw before anyone else could. He stood and clambered out of the sandbox, brushing off his fur and fluffy tail of sand. He made his way a bit more leisurely than his new friend, arriving at the other side of the see-saw and clambering onto it, glad the wolf had been holding it level with his paws, wagging eagerly to play. The rodent chattered as he was lifted off the ground, the wolf grinning as he then pushed off the ground with his paws and rose up, the motion sending the squirrel down, where he pushed off, restarting the cycle and giggling. When he next reached the top of his arc, he saw his mommy talking to a she-wolf, assuming that to be his new friend's mommy. He smiled broadly and pushed off again as he reached the ground, not seeming to mind or notice that he was pushed up a lot faster than he was lowered.
The pudgy wolf was making sure to stop his descents gently with his footpaws, so as not to jostle his new playmate, wagging happily all along as they played off the fulcrum. He giggled and wagged happily all throughout the game.
The young squirrel enjoyed it for a while, before he started getting tired, "H-Hey... can we take a break? My legs 'r getting tired..."
"Okies!" The wolf smiled, stopping and letting the squirrel clamber off before he did as well, padding bouncily to the smaller rodent and giving him a hug against his soft round belly, "Mmm, caught you again."
The squirrel blushed softly and nuzzled at the affectionate wolf as he was guided to the base of the big play fort and guided to sit on the steps leading up into it. They rested there for a couple minutes, the squirrel just enjoying the warmth of his new wolf friend, and how soft his tummy was.
"Boys, one more game then it's time to go!" Called the she-wolf from where she sat.
The squirrel looked a lil disappointed, "Aw... you're gonna have to go?"
The wolf gave the squirrel an affectionate lick. "One more game! How about a race? I heard squirrels are really agile! Can you get down the slide at the other side of the fort before I've touched that tree and come back?" He pointed at a tree across a grassy field adjacent to the playground.
The squirrel grinned, "You bet I can!" He stood up and faced the fort, bouncing a little on his paws.
"On your marks..." The wolf said slowly, then quickly, "GETSETGO!" He bolted, giggling and wagging, off toward that tree.
The squirrel squeaked in surprise and ran up the stairs into the fort, making his way through a room of randomly arranged pillars, up a series of oblique rooms stepping up higher, carefully avoiding other kids, across a very wobbly bridge, then down a spiral staircase, leading to some paw-rings to get to the next part. He grasped them with his paws and swung along deftly, unaware of where his new friend was in his own leg of the race. He got to the other end deftly and had to navigate through another series of progressively higher up rooms, before he found himself at the end of the line for kids to slide down. He mmphed at this, drooping a little, though he was glad no one was lining behind him. "Well at least I'm catching my breath..."
The other three boys went down one at a time, before it was his turn. He sat down, and as he pushed off, the wolf appeared, grinning at the bottom of the slide.
Before the squirrel could call out that he might get hit by his sliding, the wolf gaped his maw wide at the very base of the slide. Before he could even comprehend this, he found himself hips deep in his new friend's throat.
The wolf murrred happily, hefting the squirrel up over his head and heading under the fort for a bit more privacy as he started to gulp gently, rubbing over his favored prey.
The caught meal wiggled, confused, "H-Hey, what're you doing? I... Uh... Oh... that... that kinda feels good..." He murmured as the wet tongue slathered over his tummy and helped guide him deeper, not noticing that his handpaws had been pinned to his sides as the maw engulfed more and more of him.
The little wolf wagged happily, audibly murring, the vibrations travelling through the rodent in his throat. He reached up and gently pet over his friend, even as he tucked his shoulders in, just his head protruding from his muzzle.
The squirrel squirmed a little and wiggled his toes as his legs started to curl up in a warm soft place. "ooh... you're just so comfy..." He closed his eyes, his smiling muzzle being gradually eclipsed by the smiling muzzle of his predatory friend. One last gulp sounded all around him, and he was sliding down, deeper and deeper, made to curl up further, before he was snugly all the way in the belly, the walls so plush around him, like when he had been hugged to it from the outside, but all around him. He rubbed gently at one of the moist walls, "Ooohh... Looks like you caught me again. Wolfie..."
The wolf waddled out from under the fort with a broad grin, rubbing his tummy, "Mmmhmmm... I told you were all mine. Now I get to keep you! Just relax, I know my other playmates will love to have a new friend..." He caressed the pudge he had accumulated through catching playmates.
The tummy gave a little wiggle, settling in as the walking made the contents sway and slosh a little, "ooh... can't wait to meet them, if they're anything like you..."
The she-wolf met her son at the edge of the playground, rubbing her own squirming belly, the mother squirrel nowhere to be seen, "You boys have a good time?"
"Yes mommy!" The wolf wagged happily, his tummy making a muffled affirmative.
The wolfess chuckled warmly and guided her son and his new friend into the car, giving his tummy a kiss as he strapped him in safely. She then got behind the wheel, careful of her own cargo, "Alright, to home we go."
A low, squirrel scented belch filled the air of the car, followed by a gentle gurgling sloshy sound. The she-wolf just grinned, and drove her full son home.
